Lisa Marie is welcoming, friendly, non-judgmental and so down to earth…besides being a great hair stylist!! I usually come in after work and am the kind of person that can nod off easily once sitting, which can be embarrassing in public places!! But she puts me at ease by promoting relaxation when she puts me under the heater or at the wash bowl for a hair treatment saying “you are going to close your eyes and take a little nap!”I truly appreciate her for her talent and her personality, and always look forward to my time with her ❤️

Once again another great haircut & visit. I have been coming to this salon for 25+ years. Jeanette has been cutting my hair for at least 10+ years. I consistently get great comments on my hair. Over the years we have become friends & laugh & have fun. Always can enjoyable time!

Mariana is always so kind and welcoming. She’s efficient with her time and is always willing to offer advice and answer questions. I have been seeing her for 20+ years and won’t allow anyone (including myself) to touch my eyebrows except for her. She goes above and beyond for her clients every time. I recommend Mariana to everyone I know because she truly is THE BEST!

Jason is an incredible stylist! He is professional and fun, always giving me the perfect style and cut so I walk out feeling and looking gorgeous! I love my hair after Jason does his magic! And it stays looking fantastic forever afterwards!! Jason is the best!

This was my first time getting my hair cut with Alison and I’m very particular about who gets to cut my hair. She did an excellent job, is open and friendly and takes my opinions and preferences seriously. I got an amazing haircut and will be back

Meredith was an excellent masseuse. I had a deep tissue massage with the Graston technique and the Himalayan salt stones. Meredith did an excellent job of getting out the knots and the built up lactic acid in my muscles.I got my full hour of massage, which I haven’t always gotten in other salons. She massaged out the debilitating pain in my back and I truly felt like a new person! I will definitely be coming back for more!

Amanda is the best! She always does a great job with my hair and I am always happy with the result. I have been going to Salon Bliss for many years and am never disappointed.

Pam is ALWAYS wonderful to come see. Shes easy to chat with, and keeps my nails looking amazing, so I dont tear them up when my Anxiety is crazy. Love her!

Hair day is my favorite day! It’s also one I don’t take lightly especially when looking for a new stylist. A friend had recommended Rosie almost 3 years ago, and I couldn’t be happier! She is so so sweet and does an amazing job every single time. 🔥🔥I also love that it doesn’t break the bank. They are a high-quality salon so it’s definitely not cheap but I’ve been quoted well over $300 because I have long thick hair and I pay half of that here.

I have had amanda doing for hair for 6+ years now and no stylist has compared! Each time I get my hair done it looks so amazing. I am swimmer so I get a malibu and highlights and for my hair being exposed to so many chemicals it always comes out perfect. Would highly recommend!!

Horrible place! Had an appointment scheduled for a facial when I got there I was told to fill out a form then later told they couldn’t do my facial due to me breastfeeding. I was never asked when I made the appointment in regards to this and mind you they knew I drove 1 hr to make this appointment… they don’t care at all and honestly it’s a waste of time and energy. Take your money somewhere else with professional people that know what they are doing and care about your time!

Get a hair color, I have black hair theres some grey there too and I want to get Brown with a red tint again. I understand my hair is dark it may not turn out what I picture. But still did the process because Im already there and I knew it would not be what I expect or picture. I paid $110.00 for my full hair color. My hair is to dark, You be the judge. What you think? We had a birthday celebration here and could not have been happier! The private party area was warm, welcoming, and met all of our needs! The staff was friendly, professional , and very accommodating. Francine was the best! She took her time with my mani/pedi and I felt super indulged! I have been coming to Salon Bliss for about 3 years now & have been coming pretty much once a week to get a blowout for the last 2 years. Rosie does my highlights & she is AMAZING!!!!! I can honestly say I have had almost everyone in the salon give me a blowout but my favs are definitely Rosie, Antonella, Grace and Taylor🥰 They are super fast always have me in and out and do a great job! My experience at Salon Bliss was amazing. The staff is super nice and very respectful. Antonella Lupo, my hair stylist, is the best of the best and did a fantastic job. She really knows how to give you an amazing experience while you’re in her chair and makes it super convenient to book your next appointment so you don’t have to worry about it. Called earlier this afternoon for a blow out, I have blonde highlighted hair with extensions. Lauren did an amazing job, my hair looks and smells AMAZING!!!! (I will purchase the products she used!) I have booked my next one. I may never do my own hair again! 🥰 Thank you Lauren!!!

I am very particular about my hair. When I had to come back home to Rochester Hills for my Dads Funeral, right before Christmas and during the Snowstorm of the century, Salon Bliss was able to give me a last minute appointment. Alison was great. She listened to me describe how my regular stylist and gave me a perfect cut that is still looking great three weeks later. She made me feel very comfortable and at home, as if she was doing my hair for years. Thank you, Alison and Salon Bliss.

I never write reviews, but I had to for here. Grace was absolutely amazing! I got my hair highlighted around a month ago by her, so it has grown out since then. However, it still looks super natural and almost freshly done! The new growth blends so well with the lightened hair. She gave amazing recommend actions as to how to achieve the look I wanted and I couldn’t be more happy. If you want highlighted hair that looks stunning and grows out beautifully, Grace is your gal:) I have received so many compliments on my hair color thanks to Grace!

I’ve been coming here for a year . But I’m done . Too many mistakes , the receptionist are not friendly , prices have become seriously outrageous. A simple adult women’s cut was $85 for me . My 8 year old was charged $40 to cut two inches (no layers)

GRACE at this salon is AMAZING!!! She has been doing my hair for a year now. She got me to the blonde color I wanted & maintained it while keeping my hair so healthy. She is also amazing at extension install, I have tape ins & love them! I will never let anyone else tough my hair

It was my first time at this salon for a haircut and although the salon is very clean and looks trendy; the service I received from my stylist was very disappointing. She was not friendly or engaging at all regarding my cut. Her energy was not welcoming at all and almost felt as if I was bothering her. I ended up just not talking because I felt as though she didn’t care to be there or help me at all. I understand people have bad days, but when you are in a line of work where you are having direct contact with customers, you should be somewhat friendly. I don’t think I will be going back.

Lauren H did my hair and it looks amazing! I had two visits I started off with a dark purple/pink hair color and she did a color correction and got it to a lovely brown just in one day! I came back to get high lights and they look amazing, definitely would recommend Lauren H!

Salon Bliss never fails to provide excellent service! The salon is very clean and has a warm, welcoming environment. They are following every COVID precaution, have barriers up, and are distancing their clients. I feel very safe coming here! As a brunette, it has always been difficult having little to no dimension in my hair. Alaina is amazing at her job and makes my hair look fabulous with the added color for dimension, while maintaining a very natural look! Highly recommend!

Amanda Wojo is the best at helping clients achieve their hair goals and is an absolute prodigy when it comes to blondes. Not only is my hair healthier than ever, its grown so much over the last year, while remaining a bright blonde color. I also love that Amanda is always upfront about the cost of a project or trend I want to try with my hair. Person who cut my hair for 15 years stopped doing mens cuts so I called and got jn with one of her recommendations. Haircut itself was OK I guess but it cost 40% more ($10) than I have ever paid before and she did not even OFFER to wash my hair at the end. I felt as those she was just trying to get me out of there as quickly as possible and the value of service for the money was not acceptable. Think I will find a new place for haircuts going forwards.

I love this salon!!! They have a lively but classy atmosphere, and all the staff are so friendly and down-to-earth. I go to Sabina for my nails, and she is amazing! She does a great job; I love my nails, and I get so many compliments on her work! Shes done a great job getting to know me and what I like. I highly recommend asking for her!

I went to Salon Bliss for the first time this past weekend. I was so impressed! I had Daniela and she was so kind and totally knew exactly what I wanted and needed for my hair. I felt very comfortable and she gave me a really beautiful cut! I cant wait to go back for color.

I love this salon! The front desk staff is very warm and welcoming and I’ve never had a bad experience with any of the stylists. I’ve had my makeup done for a few special occasions and Mariella is the best!

Very disappointed with the services here. I booked a hair appt for color with Nicolette and drove over an hr for it. Firstly, I had called prior to request a private section and I confirmed that I would do my hair in the makeup section. Once I got there, she had no idea what I was talking about and was unprepared, bad communication b/w employees. Secondly, as she was assessing my hair, she proceeded to tell me how much hair I have, non-stop, like 5+ times and how it would be impossible for her to do it all during my appt. She gave attitude, as if I could do anything about it. Sorry that I have healthy hair? No one suggested a consultation prior to my appt. therefore, I thought my time slot had taken anything into consideration. She took so much time expressing the inconvenience of my hair that she kept mentioning how shes taking time from the appt and basically telling me that she has no more time for me (even though she was the one taking up the time, commenting on my hair nonstop). I expressed how i drove an hr for my appt and she said she drives an hour for her botox...?!? So not only did try to offend me with my hair but also didnt respect my time. Such bad character. Also all hair types should be welcomed happily and it instead of complaining about a clients hair, rather complement them on how healthy it is.

I am a first time client and I had the best experience!! The very friendly front desk person matched me with the perfect stylist and got me in right away. Amanda was right on time, very professional, and listened to my concerns. (It was about correcting a color/cut I received at another salon.) She blew my expectations out of the water!!! Her confidence put me right at ease. I was so happy how efficient she worked! I was expecting to be there for at least 3 hours but she was done in just under 2. The blonde color and layers she gave me are beautiful! Im *ridiculously* happy! Thank you Amanda! I feel alot better getting on those zoom work calls now!Also: All the steps were taken to protect the safety of all the clients in regards to covid. Everything was very clean. Tips are accepted via cash or venmo.

Grace is the queen of hair. Color, cut, extensions are ALWAYS a 10/10. Could not recommend her or salon bliss enough! She has taken me blonde and dark and it has always been phenomenal!!

I love my stylist Lisa Marie at Salon Bliss Rochester. She listens to what you want and if you are not sure exactly what you want she helps with that also! She is the sweetest with my daughter too, who is a nightmare when it comes to brushing and styling her hair. Her compassion and love for what she does shines through and you will not be disappointed with her services.

My wife had bad experience with Sofia. This is what she said. She went for styling only. Sofia was rushing, didnt really care about what I needed. I had to redo my hair style myself. I told her that I am going to the wedding. Her attitude was not professional at all. She was even rude with me. I would not suggest to go to this salon or specially use Sofiia as a stylist.

Left the salon with copper roots and green/grey highlights. They were willing to correct it so I went back. The stylist tried to cover the copper color how she was unsuccessful, she was able to remove the green. I was attempting to achieve a dark blond with highlights.I still am so unhappy with my hair. I have tried to call twice to speak to a manager and the owner. No one has returned my calls.Don’t go here!!!! They are over priced and do a terrible job!

Salon Bliss is a fantastic and professional. All the staff is very courteous. I see Tony as my stylist and he does an amazing job! His attention to detail is a testament to his passion for styling. I always leave extremely satisfied!

I also got a facial done with Anna S. whos an aesthetician and she was wonderful, My face felt so good and beautiful and I look forward to using their services againOlder Review:I just want to let you know, that Im not happy with the service I received, my hair has not been touched and I wasnt given any recommendations I was told they do hairstyling as well, I was just asked too many questions, in Inspite of saying its my first time and Im growing my hair out and they did a little cleanup on the beard, moustache hasnt been touched and Im very disappointed, Im visiting out of town and I was recommended this place by my best friend, three members of his family visit this location all the time. I dont know why they made me feel very intimidated. A big let down!!

She was not only a great stylist as she advised a lot of great options, but also was very patient throughout. I highly recommend her.She’s definitely my go to stylist from now onwards.

Salon Bliss is the very best! I just recently got married and their wedding team handled both my hair and make-up, as well as hair and make-up for 11 bridesmaids, the MOB and MOG! Their team went above and beyond in every aspect, and all of the ladies in my wedding looked absolutely stunning. I could not have asked for a better overall experience!Leading up to our big day, I worked with Sarah, who was absolutely wonderful throughout the entire process. She put a schedule in place for the day-of, planned my bridal trials, and answered any and all questions I sent to her along the way.Then, on the day-of, both the hair and make-up teams (led by Ashton and Lydia) just knocked it out of the park! With 14 different ladies getting beautified, they still managed to complete our appointments ahead of schedule, and everyone looked gorgeous. I heard from many of my bridesmaids that this was the best theyd ever had their hair or make-up done (as weve all been in several weddings by now), and there were many compliments to the Salon Bliss team.Thanks for helping glam us up for my wedding, Salon Bliss! 2yrs ago: Love love love Ellodie! Ive been seeing her for about 5+ years now and I wouldnt trust anyone else with my hair. Shes a miracle worker but the whole place is very clean and everyone up front is super friendly and attentive.Edit: Nothing has changed. Well, sort of. I should have wrote this about a year ago, but got a little distracted... I lost about 20-30% of my hair as a side effect of having CoVid (a small percentage of us can share that). At the worst of it, Ellodie became more than just a hairdresser to me, she became a friend. She slyly brushed the clumps of hair that were literally just falling out of my head with her foot so I wouldnt continue to obsess over it. I knew it was there, I could feel it falling, but everytime I walked by a mirror at home or reflection in a window, I would start tearing up.I know there are worse things to happen, and it feels so silly to dwell on it, but much of our identity is our hair and I felt like I lost myself. I lost my confidence completely. Such a small action to take but was so huge to me. She is such an amazing person AND an incredibly talented hair stylist. I feel so lucky to know her and to have found such a gem.

First time there. Got a haircut (men) from Antonella. Very good cut on my longer hair. Everyone in the salon had masks on, making the experience very safe and comfortable. I’ll be back!

Marcella is THE best curly hair stylist I have been to. She understands your needs and textures really well. Highly recommend.

I usually don’t like to leave bad review but I had to this time because this was handle unprofessional by Nicollette. So I asked for specific highlights color and I even showed a picture but I got different color and Nicollette did not even apologized but in return she was mad and she made it sound my fault in front of her assistant. She thought I am saying this so I can get a way with not paying her although I did pay $195 but in my opinion this was handle unprofessional and they just lost my service. I wish there is an option to post the picture of what I show her and the color I got 🥺 and I see other reviews had bad experiences with her as well.

Great salon, but the cut I left with (standard trim with long layers) wasn’t exactly what I was looking for/ had requested (V-cut and layers). I requested it be fixed and she tried but I’m not sure she knew how to achieve it. Overall, good cut and nice salon.

I LOVE Salon Bliss!!! The entire salon is beautiful and filled with very talented staff!! I am obsessed with my color and cut every time I leave the salon thanks to the help of my main gal Nina @ Salon Bliss!!! I have stood up in multiple weddings who have booked our make up and hair up dos with the stylists there and have always been very pleased!!!! They even traveled onsite to one of the weddings I was in and showed up on time ready to beautify us all!! Their entire staff is always happy and available to help at any moment with anything one would need! I could go on and on about how excellent Salon Bliss is!!! Every visit is amazing!!! Highly recommended!!!!

Went in to get a color done and they wouldn’t do it cuz I had some breakage. Even tho I told her I have had this problem Since 7th grade, I have a thyroid problem so my hair falls out and breaks. I have had my hair colored before even here with Nina and she did an amazing job no problems, I understand what can happen if they over process it but I have only processed my hair once this whole year. So she told me no and to come back when my hair is healthier. Which will never happen cuz I have medical problems. Big waste of time after they shuffled me around to two different stylists cuz the first one only did natural colors. Very disappointed I used to drop a lot of money here, always tipped 30 percent. Very disappointed honestly seemed like they just didn’t didn’t feel like doing it. I’ve recommended many people here cuz of my services with Nina, not any more will I do that nor be back.

Ive been getting my haircut with a stylist name Lisa for a couple years now and every time I go (which is bi-weekly) Im always impressed with the cleanliness and welcoming nature of the staff. Its hard when you try a new place for the first time, but I was beyond happy with my experience and I wont go anywhere else : ) Thank you Lisa and all of the Salon Bliss staff!

The salon was modern, pretty & clean. However, my sister & I were not satisfied with our blowouts— on the frizzier side with low longevity. They use the method where they roll your hair into a round brush and it sits on your head for a while. No product to hold it either. Left the salon frizzy

I have been going there for over 5 years, never had a problem until today and it was enough of a problem to make me NEVER go back or recommend this place to any one ever. My roots are grown out, I just wanted color and cut which Ive had 1000 times before, got Kristina, she had a serious attitude from the get go but I said to myself oh well, we all have bad days, then low and behold all of a sudden she didnt have time to do my hair. I was ready to spend good money with a generous tip but I will NEVER EVER go back there! Update: Went to a salon literally right down the road, told them what happened and they got me in RIGHT away, they couldnt believe it, took them the SAME amount of time for what they had me scheduled for at Salon Bliss AND they did a better job than Ive had done at Bliss the last few times Ive been. Sabrinas Salon is where I would recommend you go before spending your hard earned money on these ungrateful employees at Bliss. Wonder what would happen at my work if I told a client i dont have time for them today when they were on the schedule.....hmmmm.

Great salon, always have a pleasant experience. Ive seen several different techs for both hair cut/style and waxing and they have all provided exceptional, friendly service. They do tend to be busy often so make sure to call ahead and schedule.

Extremely disappointed. After researching salons online, picked Salon Bliss due to positive reviews and emphasis on training. Unfortunately, after specifically scheduling an appointment for purple highlights... I arrived at the appointment to have the stylist (while warm and friendly) immediately start telling me all the things “wrong” with the way my appointment was scheduled. 1. I should have been booked for a consultation first to discuss process, time requirements, and cost. (How would I know that being a NEW customer. And that was the perfect opportunity to discuss cost which she didn’t). 2. Purple highlights are a two step process and would take longer than I was scheduled for. (Aren’t MOST highlights a two step process; lift color and then deposit??) 3. She was booked all day so wouldn’t have time to rinse, dry, or style me. (I was fine with someone else rinsing me and as to not be an inconvenience...because at this point I was starting to feel like one....I declined to be dry and styled since I was just going home.) 4. When I explained I wanted HIGHLIGHTS not ALLOVER color. I was told the would be “really hard” (her words). I stated all least THREE times that I did not want allover color.Long story short...I left the salon with ALLOVER purple color, a wet head, and it cost me TWICE AS MUCH as highlights were listed on the website. I spent $150+ for the exact look I didn’t want with very little service. I could have done allover color and dried and styled my hair at home for about $15 (using salon quality color)!! Needless to say. I won’t be back.

Jeanette is an amazing stylist and colorist. She took me from a dark brunette to a platinum blonde pixie and Ive never gotten more compliments! Im always recommending Salon Bliss and my favorite stylist.

I hate to put a bad review on this place cause they have a fantastic location and the place looks nice but my experience with them has been quite annoying. I went in to do a dark blonde ombre on my hair. I told the hairdresser i was not worried to be aggressive on my hair since my goal is to eventually go for a pixie cut. At the end of the first session my hair became a mix of red and blond and she asked me if I wanted to color them with a toner to give a more homogenous look but i refused to do it and told her that I didnt mind the outcome. Also it didnt make sense to bleach my hair and then make them darker. After 3 weeks i had a new appointment, when i came in i told her that i noticed she was doing highlights rather than the ombre and I asked her why was she bleaching only few layers of my hair rather than the entire bottom part as we agreed at the beginning and she said this was better so i would get more dimension (?)so we kept going on with highlights. At the end of the session we went for the hair wash and i didnt even get a chance to see how my hair looked like. She started pressuring me into doing a toner. I explained to her that i didnt mind having a red color (which she apparently found horrible in her opinion) and that I definitely didnt want to go a tone darker than what i had achieved with bleach so far. I told her that i had seen these intermediate phases in my friend as well and that i was not worried about the outcome. So i asked her to give me time to go back to the mirror and see how my hair were looking like so that i could decide for myself if i liked the new color or not but I literally couldnt. She didnt let me get away from the sink and her argument was that I had to do a toner and that it was not going to make my hair darker. She said that hair looked red and didnt look good and if someone asked me who did my hair it would look bad on salon bliss which is something i completely didnt understand. In my opinion a hair dresser should worry about what i think of my hair more than what others might think of them? Plus I am the person that will talk about the job that has been done, if i am not satisfied i will probably tell people i didnt like Salon Bliss so i really didnt get her view of the situation. She was literally acting out of her fears. On top of that, while she was trying to convince me to do the toner she also added that I should go straight for a pixie cut and give up trying to get to a blonde cause it wasnt going to happen. :O I didnt like that either and i told her that i didnt think my hair were going to fall off as she was predicting and Ive seen my friend do it in around 4 sessions (and she is still not bald in spite of having henna and even thinner hair than i do).Anyways, long story short, because i was not letting her do the toner until i saw my hair, she offered to do it for free with the guarantee that i was not going to lose the lighter color. We went back to the mirror and she started to dry my hair but as soon as she started i noticed that all of the highlights I had before were gone and my hair were of course a darkish brown! I could barely see highlights so I immediately stopped her and told her that my hair were basically back to where they were before i did my first highlights (supposed to be ombre btw)! She looked at me and said what do you want me to do? and i didnt know what to answer. When i finally went to pay she charged me $150 (which is full price considering i didnt do the haircut). I left the place being extremely upset about the entire experience and the carelessness at the end of it. I would have appreciated if the hairdresser proposed to make it right or at least not make me pay the full price like if nothing happened. I never tried haircut other than the basic one i got during my first highlights so i dont want to judge the skills of those who do haircuts there without trying first but this is my experience with color. :(

Went in for a haircut and asked for layers. the stylist took off three inches and did some face framing and rushed me out the door with a $50 bill. Wont go back here for sure. I wouldnt give even a single star

First things first, if I could give a 0 star review I would... Now onto why, I went into the salon to make an appointment for two simple braids that would last me through my short vacation. I showed the girls at the front desk a picture of what I wanted, same pictures as I showed the stylist and they set me up with someone who they said could braid hair. When I arrived at the salon for my appointment I showed the stylist a couple of reference pictures and the stylist said it would be no problem.... After my appointment I left the salon devastated and on the verge of tears because of how horrible they turned out and in pain from how hard Bobby pins were shoved into my head for nearly fifteen minutes as she tried to tuck in stray hairs. My hair looked like a rats nest rubberbanded. Having had my hair braided plenty of times throughout my life by my mom, no braids with stray hairs sticking out and not a single one of those times requiring any Bobby pins let alone the nearly 40 Bobby pins the stylist shoved into my head, I am incredibly disappointed with how these turned out at a professional salon. I will not be returning to this salon and sadly won’t be getting the money back that I wasted.

Do not go here, especially for your nails! I had gel nail extensions done that were suppose to look more natural then the acrylic tips. Looked worse then putting on fake glue on nails... I visited many different nail salons but never coming here AGAIN for a manicure.

I did keratin express... First wash 3 days after treatment my hair feels like no treatment at all.... What a waste of money! Dont do it.

2 days before my wedding I got a metal headband stuck in my hair. I called bliss in Shear panic and they got me right in! It took 6 hours and the entire bliss staff to work on getting it out by they did it!!! I wasnt a bald bride and my hair looked amazing.Cant thank everyone enough! Highly recommend salon bliss!

After being on time for my daughters appointment she waited 20 mins before being told they wouldn’t be able to see her because of a double booking schedule issue. At her appointment the next day they charged $300 to my debit card when I left my numbers with the receptionist to cover my daughters bill. I feel like I’ve been robbed. Lesson learned this is not a trustworthy establishment. Not worth it!

The first time when i went there it was an okay experience. I somehow feel the place is very racist. I have seen stylists talking and building a good rapport, general conversations with the clients/customers being very friendly. But when i went in none spoke a word. I tried to have a conversation and the lady was just saying yes,mmhmm, okay . I was really unhappy. Am very particular about customer service. Rather than the service they give. This place is just 4-5 mins away from my house so i wanted streaks(highlights, split ends trim and a good bangs cut” there was this guy who spoke good with me but spoiled my hair i guess for auburn red hightlights and he put copper blonde i looked horrible with the color and hair cut he has dobe . I asked him or mentioned way before that i need my split ends to be trimmed but it got worse after his hair cut and highlights.... hated it. I had to buy a color from a store to change it. They said it takes only 90-120$ for casual hair cut and partial highlights. But they billed me for 170$ for what? God knows... all the women there are a big racists. I would never go back... i still feel i have waste so much money i would have got a designer hair cut for that money. Am giving 2 stars for the 1st time experience.

Salon Bliss is top notch. It has great quality service, friendly staff, and also the wait time is very reasonable too. I have no complaints about this place. I would definitely recommend this place for people. I have nothing at all to criticize and it has been absolutely perfect. I feel like I am treated like a family there. Please give it a try you will not be disappointed.
