Metrolina Medical Associates - Med Spa in Rock Hill

This place is terrible. Cant ever speak to someone in the office when you call. I left several messages regarding test results that I was told would take a week to get back. It has been a month and still no results. I cant get anyone to return my call and I was told they would not treat my suspected condition until we git those results. At this point I’ve had another doctor treat me. If I had waited on them I would still be ill. This is not patient care to be proud of.

My personal note to myself - avoid this place.You cannot set up a checkup without having a general appointment first. (WTH it is?). You have to make a deposit, that cannot be returned. (Pretty sure that is against their insurance agreement). Deposit is required even if you planning to do a checkup that is 100% covered. All facts here, come and verify yourself.

I had an appointment on August 12th, 2024 for Migraine Injections. I spoke to Elixir and bought and paid for the Prescription on July 23rd, 2024. It was the Duty and Responsibility for Dr Kedars Office to make certain that thePrescription was delivered at his office for my appointment on August 12th. (They could have delivered the prescription from July 24th-August 03) I was contacted by Dr. Kedars office the day of my appointment and they told me the prescription had not been delivered? I am the patient, I didnt realize it was my responsibility to babysit Dr. Kedars office. This is upsetting, frustrating and stressful. My Migraines are off the charts. I had several situations where I have gone into the Dr. Kedars office for an appointments and they Cancel the appointment on the spot. In these situations I ask them why didnt you call me to tell me before I wasted my time, gas, getting dressed etc. and they never have a CLEAR EXPLANATION.Ive been patient for almost 10 years but I just dont think DR KEDAR Cares anymore. However; I do hope I am wrong.

I have been going here to see Wendy for probably a year now and my husband sees Dr Kedar. I’ve always had a good experience! Check out lady is super friendly and providers and nurses are caring and compassionate. Recently we had issues getting medical clearance completed for my husbands surgery but Angie worked very hard and tolerated my many calls and agitation until our problem was resolved. She did this with great understanding and compassion, not to mention she is always super friendly which is a huge plus for me. I’m happy with this facility and the only reason I’m giving a 4 star is due to the fact that you can never talk to a live person when you call and that can be quite irritating.Kudos to Wendy, Dr Kedar and Angie for outstanding service to my family.

I have been going to this doctor for over a year now. I would honestly say if you have the option to go somewhere else do that. It is impossible to get anyone on the phone. What you do receive though is a text message saying that your call is important and they will call you back only they never do. Things are not billed properly to your insurance company and when you do receive a bill you aren’t able to speak to anyone about it. Voicemails do nothing as they do not return your call. My husband also is seen here and has had the same issues in the past resulting in him having to go into the office to speak with someone. Save yourself the time and go somewhere else. I know my husband and I will be.

Corrupt and extortionate. Staff were generally fine I suppose, but for some reason I paid the charge for my $200 visit, was told I would get a $20 refund because it was actually $180, and then I was sent a bill for $300 in the mail. Riddle me that one

Vanessa is AWESOME HER BED SIDE MANOR WAS AWESOME AND ALL THE NURSES AND RECEPTIONIST THAT WWORKED WITH ME WERE SPOT ON AND PROFESSIONAL. WHEN I SWITCHED MY PCP I KNEW THIS WAS THE PLACE. VANESSA LISTENED TO WHAT I HAD TO SAY AND SHE WAS ON POINT WITH EVERYTHING I FEEL SO MUCH BETTER!!!!!! THANKS Vanessa!

One of the most two faces doctors offices Ive been too. Had my husband listed as a patient their for a little over a year. Had to switch to a closer doctor. It was only then i realized just how much money this place was swidaling us and many other people of. Not to mention all the unnecessary follow ups and test. They over charge like crazy. For example same procedures at new doctor was $40 total with them almost $400. Not joking dont go here!

Love this place. Everyone who works here is amazing. They make sure my needs are addressed & provided for.

Waste of time I had a appointment for almost a week. They literally have me drove over 30mins all the way there just to tell me they dont accept my insurance.

Unfortunately, first time in the office after getting out of the hospital less then 16.hours earlier, felt too rushed!! The nurse we saw was very impersonal. Regardless of what time you get here Its whoever rushes to the desk first! We were 2nd in line and arrived about 20 minutes earlier but he got pushed to 5fh or 6th in line because they let patients rush in. Theres really no order.

I love the front office staff, the nurses and Rebekah! Cant forget Angie and Belinda when you call or they call you!!! They are quick, professional and exceptional at their jobs. Rebekah always shows concern for the reason you are there, she is very compassionate and caring.My elderly mother is also a patient and sees Dr. Kedar, she is very pleased with him and the staff as well.

Horrible place forgets to call prescriptions in and forgets half the time why you are even there

This a very caring and supportive medical group. From the receptionist to the checkout everyone is very personable, courteous, helpful and professional. The technician who draws blood is the best I have ever encountered!I really cannot say enough good things about them.I am truly grateful that they took me on as a patient.

I went here a few months ago after moving to the area,I went with severe stomach pain which was pretty much ignored was told I just have acid reflux and not given anything to manage pain when I couldnt even keep water down. That medical problem was completely ignored and she focused on the UTI I had and I told them that I have problems with my bladder and have been on alot of UTI medicine in the past but I dont feel like I was listened too because they gave me a weak treatment (3 days instead of 7-10 days like my typical treatments are) and the UTI wasnt cleared up and I have a kidney infection now. They took blood tests which I never got back not even on my patient portal. I was charged 350 dollars even though I have insurance and now I cant get ahold of anyone to get my medical records to take to a different doctor. I dont usually leave bad reviews but I really am upset at this doctors office at this point.

I have been so nervous to go to the doctor as I haven’t been in YEARS!! Everyone at MMA has been so incredibly helpful and kind! I saw Wendy and she was wonderful! She immediately put me at ease and was so easy to talk to and explained things well to me. I was there for a specific issue and felt it was addressed well and I’m not even nervous to go in for my annual physical! I’ve already recommended MMA and Wendy to friends. :)

Front Office Staff are friendly and knowledgeable.Rebekah is Professional and listens to my problems and is Helpful keeping me HealthyNursing staff not so friendly......I felt like a piece of furniture ... no smiles or small talk. Just did her job ....and was quick to leave...if the staff not “feeling well”.... please have them stay home! We (patients) don’t need OR want to be around “sick” people. We are there to feel better...

I’ve been seeing Rebecca Hughes for a year & a half now. I must say I had not been taking care of myself due to taking care of my parents for several years so my diabetes along with high cholesterol & all of my lab work had got very out of control. Rebecca always spends time explaining everything very detailed & ask many questions. She doesn’t make you feel rushed & like she truly cares. She has got everything under control for me & my labs are all so much better & I feel much better. She is very caring & knowledgeable. Being a nurse myself & with my knowledge I would never choose a MD over her. I had seen doctors prior to her & she is so much more thorough during my visits. Also in all of my visits to the office I’ve never had a bad experience with any staff including the lab. Everyone has always been so nice & accomodating. I would & have recommended Rebecca at Metrolina Medical to all of my friends & many more. Thank you Rebecca for all that you have done for me!!!

Since returning to Rock Hill over a year ago I had been putting off finding a new PCP. Well theres nothing like a good sinus infection to force your hand. Acting on recommendations from neighbors I made the appointment and was seen that afternoon. Very friendly staff and I was extremely pleased with the level of care I received and time spent with the Doctor.Now on the mend and ready to make an appointment for my physical.

I left from CMC-Pineville from seeing my husband who is in the hospital at an hour before my appointment. I got to Metrolina Medical at 12:12pm. My appointment wasn’t until 1:00pm but they called me back and I was home before 1:00pm. I was just there for nurse visit but I was surprised that she called me back so early. So that was a nice surprise. Everyone was nice, professional and friendly.

This is the worse place they charge for services they never done and bill your insurance. Patients wait for weeks for medications and say that Dr Kedar doesn’t address there concerns, they treat there employees like garbage they lie and tell you you’ll get a raise and when you go ask for it you get fired. The office manger is very unprofessional and when you go to her in private and talk with her she tries to get you to talk about the other employees then runs back an says you said things you never said. Don’t do business you’ll regret it! And don’t talk a job here there over turn is the worse.

The staff here was very friendly and the visit went well with only once exception. The PA was amazing and very nice/caring. The phlebotomist super nice and friendly, however I was concerned with her taking my blood from a surface vein, which I have always been told by every person drawing my blood since I was a kid, that you cannot take the blood from those because it will blow your vein and cause problems. I said that to her and she took the blood anyway. I now have a huge blood bubble on the top of my skin and the vein is most definitely blown. This is textbook stuff and something that someone with experience should know better than to do. But I am upset because it looks disgusting on my arm and I’m not sure I I should stick a needle in it to drain that blood but I’m definitely calling back today.

I initially selected Dr. Kedar for his internal medicine specialty as was advertised. I never saw Dr. Kedar in my whole one year of treatment. I have no idea what he looks like. However, I get plenty of emails about making appointments with him for cosmetic body contouring procedures. If that is what he is doing he should not advertise the internal medicine practice. That is misleading in my case. I didnt understand how I could get an appointment easily for a cosmetic procedures, but not for internal medicine visit in one whole year. I, never the less, received excellent treatment from the Physician Assistant, Rebecca. She was the epitome of a provider of the highest quality of care, concern, and attendance throughout my care. She always used her medical expertise and current medical knowledge to supplement and improve my ability to take care of my health between visits. She is the best.

Medical Medical Associates is truly a place with a friendly and efficient staff led by Dr. Kedar, who is both knowledgeable and professional. He connects with his patients by taking the time to get to know and understand each individual. Great place to manage my healthcare!

I just started going here, and Wendy is great! If I could give her 10 stars I would, not to mention all the personnel in the front are a joy. Wendy is down to earth, she listens to your concerns, and she explains things well so you can understand.

Angie was wonderful!! She asks & listens to what you want from your skin care treatment and makes sure you are very comfortable. I will definitely go back to see her!!

Trying my best to reach out to fellow patients of this practice, but a couple months ago they started adding 50 or so dollars on top of our copay (they had a sign out in the lobby so I know other folks had to do this too). To put it simply, thats wrong (Illegal, I mean). I highly suggest checking in with your insurance company like I have, and to get your money back. Also look into something called Balance Billing; essentially a law state by state that prevents vital services like these from taking extra money from you. Your insurance should have a policy on this as well. That being said its an absolute shame I have to leave Rebekah. She was one of the best pcps Ive ever had.

Im extremely pleased with the care and friendship that Metrolina Medical Center Staff provides. They are very concerned with your health and wellness and I couldnt find a better facility to be attending when it comes to taking care of my needs. I would like to recommend anyone who is in distress or feeling like you need to see a doctor, then Metrolina Medical Center is the place to be. Thank you for taking care of me.

Metrolina Medical Associates is great! We are always able to get an appointment in a timely manner. The staff is professional, friendly and courteous. We feel really good about the care we receive here.

Will charge you for services not rendered on you. Takes forever for the office manager to call back, and i feel the PA Wendy would rather have small talk outside of your room, than actually listening to the patient. Will never go back.

I have always had a great experience and outstanding results at MMA. Dr. Kadar is such a good listener and utmost professional. Hillary is a fantastic aesthetician and very professional. I will continue to be a return patient. 100% pleased!!

Dr. Kadar and Angie are fabulous. Dr. Kadar does a great job answering questions about procedures and the results are fabulous. They offer monthly specials and groupons. Appointments are easy to get and I am referring all of my friends.

Wendy is my primary care provider. She is very caring and personable. I really feel comfortable with her. I would recommend her to anyone!!!! Staff is friendly and caring.

Misogynistic Dr. Kedar told me that I should get sick more often since I lost 6 pounds, told me that I should be careful with my injured wrist while doing house work & washing dishes. I pay my co-payment every time. The next time, theres a charge or a credit on my account. They called me to come in and go over my lab results. My sugar was elevated! This could have waited instead of me having to waste an hour and $30 to go in there! I wont be back. Id rather go to urgent care.

I wouldnt give them even 1 star! They did me really dirty. I never missed a payment on my account,and they turned me into a collection agency and also dismissed me from the practice. Ive had to find another doctor. I dont recommend going to this practice. I had to give 1 star to get this review to post against what I wanted to do.

MMA has become my primary provider. I work in healthcare and appreciate the timelines, cleanliness and thoroughness. The staff is friendly and professional. I see the MD in lieu of a secondary provider every time I visit; that lets me know it’s about the service and relationship, not volume. I recommend MMA every chance I get!JT, RN

Dr. Kedar is a very good doctor for botox and injections. He makes you look natural, not overdone. His assistant, Hillary, is very helpful. I come to Rock Hill from Charlotte because Dr. Khan is better than all the Drs. in my area, and there are many of them.

Absolutely love the practice!!!! The providers actually take the time to listen to you. I have never felt rushed. I would absolutely recommend MMA to friends and family.

Really great experience here with Botox. The aesthetician and the doctor were both super nice and took the time to talk with me about what I wanted as well as what other services were offered. They were not pushy at all to sell anything.

Been waiting 2 days just to have a prescription sent over to walgreens and this place has yet to send it. When you call to find out why its taking so long the lady that answers was extremely rude and hung up on my husband twice. This place is a joke.

Bills patients for services not rendered and refuses to remove the charges. I guarantee you will be overcharged if you use this practice. Save our healthcare system by putting crooks like this out of business.

This place is a scam! Bought a Groupon for 40 units of Botox. Which is more than enough to treat brows forehead area. Dr. Kadar said I needed 64 units. Absurd...I had Botox done in Atlanta 7 months ago and only 28 units were needed and lasted 7 months. Im on month 2 and can move my forehead already! Diluted and probably was not Botox. Go somewhere else. Dont trust this place!

Nice doctors office facility with nice staff

Everyone is very friendly, helpful and professional. It is a real pleasure to go to the office. Dr. Kedar is very thorough with caring for his patients.

Everything was perfect, from checking in to the treatment and everyone made you feel welcome and comfortable. The nurse practitioner, Wendy, that saw me, couldnt have helped me any better.

Health care fraud called phantom billing going on here! 3 bills out of 4, I received inaccurate bills for equipment or services that were not provided. A mistake happens once, maybe twice, but 3 times is deliberate! Check your bills from them!

From check-in through check-out, all the staff members are very welcoming and caring. I feel that I am the number one priority. I leave knowing that I am getting the best care.

I love my doctor she is awesome but the billing process need help very bad..Past 6 month I be have problems with Billing process people ..I be with them for 5 years I was set payment plan..Everything was going great till 6 Month ago..On may 17 told 70.00 out of my bank can not tell why ..

On numerous occasions have had to wait an excessive amount of time do you have lab work done. Lab work waiting list is not checked frequently.

After being ignored by 2 other doctors MMA was a relief. The PA listened and set up blood tests that day.

The third time I went for lab tests and cannot understand why it takes 40 minutes for the patient in front of me to have blood taken when I go back it takes less than 10 minutes to have my blood taken.

Very unprofessional more worried about what they hsve to sell than patients treats elderly poorly....Dr made assessment on my mom just by a spelling of a word and started treatment that is so wrong.would not recommend

DO NOT use this clinic!!!! They are will try to apply as many charges to their services as they can. They will withhold your medical records if you leave the clinic. Most of their doctors are not suited for treating children.
