Luxe Hair Lounge & Day Spa

This was the first and only time i used this salon. I booked a haircut with Jen(senior stylist) and requested extra time because I have very thick hair and didnt want to be rushed. They called a few days before the appointment and asked if I could come in 30mins earlier to accommodate the extra, of course, that was fine.When I showed up, Lotus was the one ready to do my haircut. I found that odd and should have said something but trusted that she was a good stylist. When she started cutting my hair, she said shes been doing hair less than a year and I panicked a bit. I was confused and also she had already started cutting so I didnt feel like I could stop the process.The front looks ok, but the back is super uneven. She tried to give me layers, but it looks like steps and just uneven in multiple places. Its a bob cut, so if I want to get it fixed somewhere else, I have to go shorter, which I dont want.It was incredibly deceptive for the salon to switch me from the senior stylist, that I booked with to a junior one without telling me. I regret not speaking up sooner during the appointment but Ive never had anything like that happened to me before and I waited over a week for that appointment.Also Lotus has very long nails and was not able to wash my hair properly. She basically got my hair wet and patted shampoo on the top of my head and then rinsed me.

Jody is a blondes best friend! She helped me with a full highlight and curtain bangs - she did an amazing job. The first stop I made after the appointment someone stopped me and told me how much they loved my hair color…that is all due to Jody.Katya did a wonderful job with an eyebrow wax. She took her time to make sure they were shaped correctly and was so kind. Thank you!

I was looking to surprise my daughter in law with a mini make over for mothers day. Of course it was a last minute idea and most places were booked that weekend. I called Luxe and got the voice machine but never left a message. Surprisingly, I received a call back and a text from the salon almost immediately. They were the only salon to follow up. I was very impressed! They were able to give me an appointment with Jen - senior stylist. Jen was amazing! She took the time to listen to my daughter and was able to give her the style she was looking to obtain. Jen made the experience very pleasurable. She was friendly, lots of good conversation and laughter. We will definitely be back for all if our hairstyling needs. Thank you Jen for squeezing us in at the last moment. You are a true gem! We appreciate you!

Jen (Sr Stylist) is spectacular!I was in Sacramento from out of town and needed a color correction before an event scheduled two days later. I showed inspiration photos and she was able to fix my color and highlights, relieving my stress, and I was 100% satisfied.Not only talented but a great energy to her as well, making my time in her chair so enjoyable.I recommend you visit Jen for an all-around fantastic experience.

Jodie was amazing! I got my hair done yesterday with her and she was so great! She got my hair exactly how I wanted and stayed at the salon late to finish my blowout. It’s been awhile since I’ve felt the way I do about my hair. She killed it!

Was excited for my first Keratin Express treatment! Had a great experience with the front desk. My hairdresser was very personable and sweet! The process was fairly quick and I my hair feels so shiny and healthy 👌

Had an awesome experience at this hair salon with Lotus! The attention to detail with my hair was incredible. I was in for a cut and layering. The end result looked fantastic. I have a ton of a hair. Long and double the amount of the normal person. She took each segment of my hair and separated it, brushed, and dried. The last salon I went to spent nearly 3 hours sorting and brushing my hair. Despite past experiences, Lotus only took about 2 hours for the whole cut! She also did a scalp analysis due to my scalp scabbing and used according shampoo and conditioner. The wash was amazing and relaxing! Id come back just for the wash! Im so impressed by this establishment and hair stylist. I will definitely be coming back for any additional hair needs!

I’ve been going to this salon for about 6-7 years now. I highly recommend Mila - she is the best at skin care, including dermaplane and micodermabrasion. For a relaxing massage, you can’t go wrong with Laura! She is the best for hot stone and/or deep tissue massage.I would not trust any other with my skin care. ❤️

BEFORE MEETING MS. TRAM OF LUXE HAIR LOUNGE: In the past, I had really bad experiences with bleaching processes in order to reach the right level for the silver hair. The previous hairdressers used wrong products and strong developers which were not necessary. As a result, my scalp was hurt during the process, and my final hair finish was fried. I was scared and didnt get any touch ups or coloring after that.It has been 10 months, I havent had any coloring for my damaged hair. It was time for me to challenge myself to find a truly good hairdresser who is honest and patient enough for my silver hair.After weeks of searching more than 10 hair salons, I decided to make an appointment with TRAM, who is exactly what I was looking for.AFTER MEETING MS. TRAM OF LUXE HAIR LOUNGE:1. She listened to me well and cared about my concerns and my worries for my hair.2. She gave me her advice and her strategy to help my hair become more healthy, grow, and still reach the silver look as I wished.3. She spent 5.30 hours on my hair and JUST MY HAIR. I was so happy to have her full attention and care. She is talented, smart, honest, hard working, and compassionate.4. After having the bleaching touch up for the new hair growth, full toning, and a little trim, my hair is super healthy looking. I came in for a facial skin treatment with Mila. She understood my skin concerns and took the necessary steps in choosing the treatment that was right for me. She went above and beyond my expectations. I received an extensive facial, a stress relieving shoulder massage and some great advise on how to achieve amazing skin results by following a strict regiment using recommended face products. My skin looks and feels smoother and more vibrant than ever. Overall great experience!!

I loved this salon and I loved my stylist. Then something happened that Ive experienced all too frequently with salons. Once our relationship was established and felt cozy, she started rescheduling me and being late. I cant have that. So, regrettably, I had to find someone else to do my hair and hope for better luck. But it is a very nice place. I also had a semi-decent massage there once, but also a facial that made me break out and did nothing it promised to do. I would say, from my experience, stick to hair, and dont get too comfortable.

I really like this place. The hairstylist I go to is Kim. Shes great! Shes likes to talk, but if youre not in the mood for chatting, she is very understanding about it. My mom has been going to her for almost 15 years & she LOVES Kim. The rest of the staff is very nice also. Luxe is in Sac & I live in Stockton, so its a bit of a drive, but my mom and I usually make a day of it 😊 Two thumbs up 👍🏼 👍🏼for Luxe!!;

Had a Brazilian blowout with Jen and she is amazing! So incredibly friendly and easy to talk to. My treatment came out so well and she was able to do it faster than any other stylist I’ve done it with. Highly recommend her!!!

First things first, I’ve been to this salon 2 times now & have been satisfied with both visits. The original stylist that helped me the 1st time is no longer working here so I was assigned to Tram for my most recent visit. And let me just say, things happen for a reason & I am so blessed that I met Tram. I was going out of town literally the next following 3 days & she fit me in her busy schedule on her day off to help color correct my hair. She was extremely nice, professional, & very knowledgeable especially when it comes to my Asian hair type. She was upfront about everything which I appreciated A LOT & that alone makes me want Tram as my official hair stylist. I know I can always trust her with my hair. Definitely recommend booking with her!

Tram is perhaps Sacramentos friendliest, most patient, and most talented stylist when it comes to coloring hair. Im not joking. After having a number of terrible experiences at salons that are reputed to be the best in the area, I stumbled across this one by accident, and Ive been seeing her ever since. She pays close attention to detail and goes above and beyond to correct any tiny errors, which is a major plus. Im not the easiest client around since I demand that service providers fulfill their promises, and I never return to a location that doesnt uphold its promise. We all work hard to earn our money, so customers should receive what they are paying for. No exception.With that said, I sincerely hope my review is helpful to anyone searching for a talented root-touch-up stylist and hereby give Tram my highest recommendation.

My experience was horrible for me and my mom. BRI seems to hate her job. I just dont get why she wanted to become a hairstylist if she does not know how to deliver good customer service!! she did not say a word to me while handling my hair and I did not like her attitude. She was supposed to blow out my hair after balayage and it was so frizzy and curly so I told her and she said I dont know if I can make it better because I have only 10 minutes left! really!!! I paid for 2 hours of service and then she commented making fun of my hair because she made it so puffy it looks like youre wearing a wig It was supposed to be a relaxing day but walked out feeling bad.As well as Mikayla who was supposed to be doing my moms hair when we arrived there, she said that she has to leave early and wont have time to do it. She shouldve communicated with us beforehand so mom would not waste her time.A place with good reviews should hire good stylists. I dont want to deter you from the place because I dont know about the other stylist. but unfortunately my experience was horrible.

Emily gave me a great facial. My face looks and feels so good. Shes so sweet and I enjoyed talking with her. Would definitely recommend!

I scheduled a blowout a month out. The hair dresser called me to ask if I could re-schedule since she had a tight schedule. I responded with, are you able to do my blowout? If not I can find another salon? She responded with yes and I kept my original appointment. What was supposed to be a blow out ended up being an appointment to curl my hair. If you know you cant provide the service the customer is asking for; then be honest. Stephanie never said she was unable to wash and do my blow out until I was sitting in the chair the day of my appointment. I couldnt go elsewhere as I had photos scheduled. Bad experience.

I was pretty nervous using a new stylist to go from a long style to a short bob and especially since I have been to just one stylist for many years, but after she retired I had to find a new one. I was not disappointed, Selena is great! She took her time and made sure I loved everything. It’s been a couple months and I just booked with her again for a fresh look, which I am very excited about. The salon itself is in a great location and the atmosphere is very inviting. The front desk staff are welcoming and offer wine and sweets. The owners are the nicest people as well. Highly highly recommend coming in for a true pampering experience.

Ive received facials and massages here for about 8 months. They are very easy to book with and kind staff. They always have great deals or packages. My mom and I, as well as a few friends have booked massages with Deanna, and we all agree they were outstanding. Thank you for the excellent service you all provide.

I have been going to Luxe for a while to have my facials done. They were amazing, but my pre Covid esthetician Bonnie is not currently working. So there is a new gal, Natalie, and she gave me an awesome facial. It was wonderfulness on top of more wonderfulness! She is professional, sweet, kind, enthusiastic and knowledgeable. Communicates all the products she is using and asks how they feel in my skin. I left there feeling completely pampered.I also had my first haircut there and I got more compliments than ever on my cute hair! The staff of the salon are warm and welcoming and I have truly enjoyed my experiences there.

Ok I moved here from Texas back in 2017 and it took about a year to find a great stylist. I had my stylist in Texas for 7 years and she was phenomenal. I have thick hair and most places get lazy with my hair and send me off with damp hair which I hate. Well I came across Luxe just by google and found Lauren and she was phenomenal my hair loved her but she left and started a beautiful family! I was so happy for her but my hair was so sad.Well Lightning struck twice in the same spot OH MY I got Elexa and she is just as phenomenal my hair loves her too. I’ve been with Luxe since 2018. The owner is absolutely amazing. I always get tons of compliments on my hair all the time. I know all of my hair is no easy job so I appreciate Elexa’s PHENOMENAL work every time I step in Luxe!Highly recommend this Salon oh and side note facials and massages here are great too!

Absolutely loved my appt for a facial with Natalie, the esthetician. She was so kind and made the experience enjoyable with her funny commentary and bubbly personality. She also offered me advice on which products would work best for my skin. If you aren’t sure which esthetician to book, please book with her!!

So glad I went here! My hair needed a major refresh so after some research I chose Luxe, and booked with MiKayla. She did a cut, gloss and Olaplex treatment, and my hair seriously looks and feels brand new! My hair is super thin but she gave it volume, shine and bounce and still kept so much of the length which made me so happy! I also got a great deal on some new hair products. Thank you MiKayla!! Ill definitely be coming back!

I havent been to a new hair stylist for over 20 years so Im very picky! Cayla did a fantastic job! She is great with color and cut! I couldnt be more pleased! She also was very professional and gave me alot of reassurance knowing that I had been with the same person for so long and was probably nervious. I love coming here! Got my hair done by Selene a couple of times and I couldn’t be more happy! It’s always really hard for me to find someone who knows how to do my hair right and she actually do it perfectly. Selene is so wonderful! She listen carefully on what I wanted to be done for my hair and she always give great suggestions. I’ve finally found a perfect place and hairstylist to get my hair done after searching long and hard. I won’t be going anywhere else and I highly recommend this place!

I had my first ever Facial and it was PHENOMENAL! Mila was professional and very nice. I booked a package that was more than I really needed, so she customized my treatment and I ended up paying less. I feel rejuvenated and relaxed, and my skin looks great. I will definitely go back again and recommend Luxe to everyone I know.

I found this place a few years back because it was just down the street from me. I love this place and all the stylists are amazing. They offer so many different services and always do a great job! And if you wanna feel fancy, they even offer wine. They have great promos going on usually too. If you need a new salon... Luxe is the place!

Just moved to Sacramento from the Midwest and was looking for my go-to person here. The stylist seemed pretty annoyed with me right off the bat when I was trying to explain what I wanted. I even felt uncomfortable enough to apologize to her when she came back from grabbing color that I was sorry if I was annoying, but that I was just trying to show and explain what I wanted since I had never seen her or visited this salon before. When explaining and showing what she was going to do with the color, I asked to not go so high up and remove some of the brass in my hair, which I feel like was not really listened to, and the overall result (though pretty) was not what I asked for. I even mentioned I was supposed to be getting engagement photos done this day as well, and she didnt ask how I wanted it styled (heard the stylist right next to us ask her client if she wanted her hair straight or curly). Though this stylist is Im sure very talented, I had a pretty unwelcoming experience, and would not recommend.

Today was my first visit into Luxe salon, and Olivia was my rockstar stylist. I gave her very little directions, let her take the reins on my haircut, and left there feeling ultra sassy! I was brought coffee at the start of my visit, a fancy little extra to my experience, and the salon was very clean and welcoming. Then, Olivia began walking me step by step on the products she was using and educating me on a wavy hairstyle that I’ve never been able to re-create myself. All of the products she selected smelled SO good and left my hair feeling soft and de-frizzed. Homegirl hooked me up, and renewed my love for my hair. Thank you, Olivia!

I met with Jacqueline after my previous stylist of 10 years moved too far away. She was absolutely amazing and bleached my hair beautifully. I am in the process of growing out a pixi and she cut just the smallest amount off to re-shape my hair and remove the dead ends without making me feel like I have lost any length. I would totally recommend her in a heartbeat!

Taylor did amazing with turning my hair from purple back to the perfect shade of brown. I wanted to try bangs for the first time also and they came out better than expected!

It was very nice especially to get the shampoo, cut n style like the good old days. Mikayla did my hair and was amazing. Very thoughtful of customer and their needs. I think this is a spot worthy of a second visit.

Took my mom here as a present for her birthday, Olivia seemed like she didnt want to work. Long story short, my mom walked out almost in tears! She wanted to go lighter and Olivia was focused in placing blame on the previous hair dresser for the color he had used instead of listening to what she wanted. Dont really know what she did but charged close to 200$ the whole bottom portion of my moms hair was untouched, did not cut or style her hair not even DRIED her hair!! I wish I would of taken pictures.

I absolutely love this place. My husband surprised me with a cut and color appointment and I just absolutely love how it turned out! This is definitely my new favorite salon around Sacramento!

First off, the ease of making an appointment and all the options you get are ideal for me. All options were online with pricing upfront. This included the specialists individual pricing and even a picture... which sadly, is really nice because Ive not had the opportunity to meet anyone without a mask on. 😷😫😥That being said, I have visited twice since they were allowed to open after Covid and everyone has been wonderful. They make sure to give ample notice about their policies in place with covid and make you as comfortable as possible while being very sanitary and safe. They are doing a great job.I think I spent about 5 hours there my second visit. I had a facial with Ashley (magnificent, do it!) Then a full highlight with Elexa. This was my second visit with Elexa and I just love her! She listens to what I want and does a great job. My hair takes 3 hours and I enjoy every minute. 😊

The day started out good, and we had booked our service two months in advance so my daughter and I, coming from out of state, would be sure to have time for our appointment. But...our stylist over booked herself so that as we got further into our appointment, she was rushing more and more. As a result, the colors of our hair did not turn out well...We were very dissatisfied with the color and the services. We will not be back to this salon.

Laura gives the best massages. She is kind, caring, and does a fabulous job. Her prices are also reasonable.

Business:This is a nice Salon in downtown Sacramento parking is tricky but worth it. The salon could use some updating but the estheticians office is beautiful. They always offer drinks, the music works and its clean and well-stocked.lauren: I had been with the same stylist for 20 years and traveled a distance I dreaded when a friend gave me a gift certificate for Luxe salon. I called to ask who was good with short hair and immediately the woman told me Lauren Porter (shes recently married I dont know her new last name) so I booked asap. we met, she was pretty, thoughtful and kind. I told her I wanted movement, thats exactly what she gave me. Two days after my hair appointment a woman walked up to me and told me how much she loved my hair then asked me for Laurens number.that always feels good. Shes a Beauty but one thing about her, shes the first hairstylist Ive ever met that doesnt look at herself when she talks to you when cutting your hair. Shes confident and genuine and is an amazing hair stylist.

If youre looking for a great full-service salon Luxe is your place!!!Up until now I have always only had my hair cut and colored by Luxe stylists, and its been awesome always! For my birthday I decided to treat my skin to a little rejuvenation and care by getting a facial.I was so impressed by the results and the first-class treatment.I highly recommend Luxe for any and all of your hair and skin care needs, they are truly the experts and I trust them completely.

Stephanie is a great stylist- my granddaughter asked to get a haircut and her parents had restrictions but Stephanie was able to make everyone happy.

I came here for a massage with Deanna and it was the best massage I have had. She was very attentive and paid attention to my knots trying to find the source of the problem. Overall great great service, will be back!!!

Horrible place, they colored my hair black while I asked them to color it dark brown. I called them to fix the problem, they do not answer clearly.

This place has seamless booking and confirmation, and my stylist (Leanne) is fast and efficient, but my hair always looks and feels amazing when done!
