I booked a 60-minute Swedish massage with Lisa and it was one of the best massages I’ve ever had! She was so attentive to my problem areas and it was just the right balance of gentle touch mixed with firmer pressure on those tough spots. I felt fantastic afterwards and the pain reduction was noticeable. Highly recommend!

I booked a 90 minute massage because I’ve had a persistent soreness in my leg from repeatedly exercising without stretching afterwards. The massage therapist, Clarance, spent most of the time on my upper body. Honestly, when I left my leg felt the same and I thought he didn’t do enough to address my main concern. But the next day when I woke up all of the soreness was gone and I had a full range of motion. I exercised without any discomfort. Not only was the massage relaxing and thorough, but the effects were lasting. I will definitely be back!

Came to Soma for a 60min massage with Tiara and it was just wonderful. She was fabulous, applied the perfect pressure (I requested more medium vs firm which I normally prefer, but was feeling tender/sore to begin with) and checked in to make sure I was cozy shortly after beginning my massage. I am impressed with how much tension was released and how great I felt afterwards. Run, dont walk, to Tiara!!!

The touch pressure during the massage was just right, and I definitely felt better coming out than going in. The facility was easy to find, clean, and comfortable. I live in Alabama and was looking for a spa to gift a special someone who lives in St. Louis with a Swedish massage. As you can imagine trying to find something online is hit or miss but my encounter over the phone with Troy was amazingly seamless and the massage that my friend enjoyed with Clarance exceeded our expectations. Clarance was professional, knowledgeable, very very kind, and oh my goodness the man has gifted hands! Her description of her visit makes me want to go to St Louis just to experience a great massage from Clarance. The atmosphere, music and overall vibe of the studio was just wonderful. I highly recommend Soma if youre looking for a great massage studio in St Louis. This will not be her first visit there.

I’ve been here several times and it’s always a great experience. My most recent massage was a 60 minute Swedish massage with Clarence and it was wonderful! I deal with some lower back pain and I walked out of SOMA completely relaxed and pain free.

Andy is a phenomenal massage therapist. He truly is a therapist and is passionate about helping you feel better. He is very gentle and professional when maneuvering you but can really apply firm pressure when needed and desired. He is very knowledgeable and understands muscle anatomy and physiology and applies it to address your specific concerns. He doesn’t just do a cookie cutter massage and caters to your needs. I have never been able to find a massage therapist that was worth a second visit, but I can’t imagine going anywhere else now.

I was gifted a 2 hour deep tissue massage for Valentine’s Day, despite never having a professional massage before…lol. Aleta went over all my concerns with me and promised to build up to harder pressure. The entire experience was literal bliss! I felt like I was floating in a dreamland. I’m definitely a little sore the next day, but I can already tell that so many of the problem knots in my shoulders have been worked out! I cannot wait for my next visit!

Had pinched nerve in my shoulder/neck and booked a 60 min swedish with Ada. It was wonderful! I had selected very firm pressure and she did not disappoint and really got in there.

My wife and I went to SOMA today after a few years away. Theyve added therapists to their staff so its very easy to book an appointment. The decor is clean and professional and both of our therapists did an excellent job. Our only regret is that we didnt schedule longer massages.

I have had 3 massages with Tia (Tiara) now, and she is one of the best massage therapists Ive worked with. She has a kind and caring presence that will make you feel at ease right away. She truly listens to you and really works on those areas that need a little extra help.The studio itself has a very calming effect, and you can tell everyone takes cleaning protocols very seriously here. This is definitely a place you can come to relax.I highly recommend Soma Massage and Tia!

5 stars! I can’t recommend this place enough! I started my third trimester of pregnancy getting a prenatal massage here every other week and that quickly changed to every week. My therapist, Aletta T. is truly a miracle worker. So professional, kind, and really works hard to give me the best massage every single time. SOMA is a very clean and relaxing space with such a welcoming staff. I definitely recommend Aletta as your therapist but I can only assume everyone who works there is just as great. Truly a wonderful spot.

Love Soma. Been going for a year+. Facility is clean as well as aesthetically pleasing. Table is comfy and heated (gotta love that). Lisa Young is a talented and well-trained masseuse. Ive had great results and plan to keep on coming back monthly for both the relaxation and the benefit.

I booked an appointment at the last minute because my schedule was tight. Troy was gracious enough to squeeze me in. My room was ok.The therapist looked tired and uninterested; the massage itself was average. Even though I booked a full body massage, she only massaged my back, and my shoulders barely touched my legs and didnt touch my hands or my neck. I honestly have had better massages for less. I will give the place another trial with a different therapist and see what happens. My honest review of SOMA today.

OMG! I saw Ada and she is so amazingly good!! She gave me a TRUE deep tissue massage. I have had others over many years that were only slightly deeper than a Swedish massage (which is pleasant but not so therapeutic). Adas hands are SO strong! It was worth the splurge!! Best massage I have had in at least a decade! Highly, highly recommend!!

SOMA delivers an amazing service! SOMA has very talented massage therapists - and I am pretty particular! Every time I leave I feel amazing. My massage therapist, Ashley listens to my needs and delivers every time. I have also enjoyed a Swedish reiki massage with Laura and she was also amazing. You will not be disappointed! The location is beautiful and the room is comfortable and relaxing.

I’ve been to probably 10 different massage therapists as a result of having a chronic injury, but the results from Andy’s massage were the best by far. If you are a serious athlete, recovering from an injury, or just prefer very deep pressure (he specializes in deep tissue/sports stule) he is your guy. He is very professional and extra modest with draping so I felt comfortable and relaxed.In terms of the quality of the massage - awesome! I wanted extra deep pressure to break up the scar tissue and extra-guarded muscles I have from a long history of competitive gymnastics, but also needed to make sure that my bulging discs and arthritis weren’t irritated by the process. Andy was thorough and cautious with evaluating me but also used enough pressure to make a big difference. I am so impressed by his skills - he really took my expectations for massage to a new level and I am happy to say he is my go-to guy now!

I have received hundreds of massages, and my session with Troy was the best massage I’ve ever had. His technique is spot on and his knowledge of the anatomy gets right to the point and helps you heal. Could not recommend enough!

I was looking for a last minute massage and I am hesitant to go with a new place or person because I am picky and like deep pressure. Andy had an open appointment and I am so glad I met him! He did a great job at listening to my needs and helping my body heal. This was my first massage with a male therapist and he did an excellent job at communicating and being professional, he made me feel really comfortable. Based on past personal experiences I never thought I would be comfortable with a male LMT but Andy proved me wrong. I feel a lot better after visiting Soma, I will definitely be back to see Andy!-the neighborhood this place is in is super cute too. Great experience

It had been a very long time since I had a massage and the gentleman Bradley was recommended to me by one of my own clients. (hair stylist). The consultation on which areas I needed were precise! The massage was fantastic. It was exactly what I needed. Bradley did some great deep tissue work which I loved! Followed by some lighter techniques and some good conversation! Luckily, the front staff and the two massage therapists were super welcoming, explained the process, and made us feel very comfortable. I learned about Troy through a friend and have been going to this place for years. Recently, he has expanded and the space is beautiful. The therapists here (including Troy) are top notch and welcoming. They are incredibly gifted at massage and very attentive. The tables have warmers and every room has hot towels. You must check this spot out, especially, if like me you are an aging weekend warrior. Perfect way to relieve the stress of the holidays.

I received a deep tissue massage from Ada and it was amazing. The best part is that Ive had this nagging headache in my right temple for the last couple of weeks and planned on making a doctors appointment about it. But after the massage it completely went away. Im so grateful!

My first massage was with Bradley Johnson, scheduled for just an hour and we ended up extending it another half hour. Yes it was that WONDERFUL!!! At the end of the session we scheduled my next massage two weeks from that date and for an hour and a half. I do construction and since I was off 2 Days Later on a Friday and saw that Bradleys schedule was free so I scheduled another hour session today. The facility was nice and clean and the music was very relaxing!

The massage I had was a 10 by itself but when you add Lisa the massage therapist to the picture it made it a 10 plus. She greeted me with this warm beautiful smile. I felt comfortable in a matter of minutes. . She was gentle with my elbow injury, put me at ease when massaging it and around it. She even helped me prop it up. When I left there I was so relaxed, it made the rest of my day more enjoyable.

Had a 30 minute Swedish massage. It was the first massage I had ever gotten and I loved it! I had Kristin who was great, she got all the areas I needed around my head, neck, and shoulders and the whole process was very easy and relaxing! I would definitely return!

I have been a client of SOMA for about a year. The facility is very comfortable, nice relaxing music, temperature well controlled (even heated tables). My therapists always asks about problem areas and listens about aches and pains to focus the session. From the lighting to the music it is an amazingly relaxing experience. I highly recommend SOMA.

I normally go to massage studios that have large Groupon discounts, so I was very hesitant when making the appointment with SOMA since it was out of my budget. However, I decided to give it a try, and it was worth it. Troy did a great job, and I’m definitely going back there. :)

I wasnt told up front that my appointment at 12 also included a 18 minute conversation about a form I was to fill out that I really couldnt see. After time spent getting undressed and onto the table it was 12:25.I assumed was it was a full body massage. Why would anyone book a massage if it were to be different than that? I was wrong. She spent about 15 mins on my back and while I did say my lower back was bothering me because I sit at work I expected a full body massage. She avoided my hands and feet but massaged one of my legs.At 1PM prompt she stopped and said the hour was up. That cost $70 since they had a 20% off sale going on. The normal price is $85. At checkout, she turned the screen to me to tip her. I was really disturbed at paying $70 for 35 mins. I was charged $2 a minute. I told her I couldnt afford to tip her. Unbelievable.It was the worst massage Ive had in my life and Ive had an average of 250.She also left the roll under my knees before leaving the room. In the past the massage therapist has always removed it. It made getting up difficult for me since I am partially disabled.I had booked the appointment with the owner who was very helpful on the phone but Im going elsewhere.

Booked an appointment for 7pm on the phone gave her my name etc! She asked me for a debit card and won’t charge it till I came in! I couldn’t make it cause my work called me in to fly the next flight on Southwest Airlines! Forgot to call to cancel cause of packing and trying to hurry back to the airport! They charged me $60 for not showing up! Had to call my bank to reverse the charges! She didn’t tell me that they charge for not showing up! Very upset
