Enjoyed a late lunch on the patio. The patio is great. Large and lots of fans to keep diners comfortable. But definitely not good for handicapped patrons. The parking lot was a real plus for Soulard. We had wings to start and they were very good. Traditional Buffalo and they do give you celery which I appreciate. My partner had jambalaya which he liked but didn’t love. I had the NOLA BBQ shrimp. It wasn’t anything like you get in NOLA but the shrimp were cooked well and the flavors were good. It was a nice place to relax and enjoy drinks and lunch.

Our family visited the area and Mollys just happened to be a stone throw away. Alexis was great as a server only being on her own for three days. Keep up the good work! The food was good and the beer was cold. We sat outdoors on the patio and enjoyed the shade and breeze on a hot day.

What a bummer. We came to St Louis for good southern food. The food we got was bland, practically sterile. Surprised by the 20% mandatory tip, since the service was just ok. The beer garden was cool, but the bathrooms were dingy and the table setup average. Unless you’re coming to drink, I wouldn’t recommend.

Went here for brunch on a Saturday, at 12:45. We had reservations, and the staff was a little short because of the shift change time. Our server was great, he was attentive and not over bearing, and took pictures for us because we were celebrating a friends birthday. Our drinks werent very cold (mimosas/bloody Marys), which was an important part of brunch.... but other than that, everything was great.

The ambiance is definitely chill and a great place to go for drinks and food. The loaded tots are simple but good. The pickles are a little spicy, but they have good little kick. The pasta portions aren’t really big, and if you like peppers you might have to ask for extra. But overall if you wanna drink, this is a cool place to hang out in s Soulard.

In town visiting a friends for Thanksgiving. She is new to the area so we googled brunch places with bottomless mimosas. We love a good boozy brunch. The bottomless was a good deal. And it was nice they use a specific cup to tell who is doing it. That way any server walking past can fill you up. We sat on the patio side that had brunch. It was in the 30/40s so it was nice they had a temp controlled, covered patio. It did get a bit warm out there, but Im always hot.We shared the breakfast nachos. They had good flavor. The chips got really soggy, really fast. We also ordered it with a runny egg. The server said most people get it with scrambled eggs. That would likely help with the sogginess.I had the breakfast burger. It was really good! Id probably salt and pepper the patties while they are grilling but it was still good. They forgot my side of ranch and it took a bit to get that, but it had gotten really full/busy and the server seemed to be taking care of quite a few tables so did not want to bug him to grab it.The server had recommended the French toast bake. My buddy got it and let us all try it. It was very good. Thick. Flavorful. The sauce on it was great! It would have been too sweet for me to eat the whole thing, but my buddy destroyed it and was very happy with it.When it did get busier, sometimes we waited a bit for mimosa refills, but it wasnt that bad and we understand places are busy with limited staff right now. We would definitely go back. I love taking my dog for a patio drink, so if we are ever back in a warmer month and not looking to eat, we would definitely stop back here.

I really liked the shrimp tacos, but the drinks could have been stronger. There was a bit of mix-up with the food orders and drinks, and the gumbo was a bit bland, but nothing a little Tabasco sauce couldnt fix. We visited during their Tacos and Tequila Crawl event, and everyone was really friendly. I had a good time overall.

I’m usually one who leaves good reviews. But wanted to share Molly has a policy to add automatic 20% gratuity to tables of 6 or more. Which usually is fine. We are actually generous tippers. However, our party didn’t see anyone for 20 minutes. Took another hour to get food. Never received coffee we ordered. A friend joined and he ordered a drink. Never got that. When the server came back at least 20 minutes later (maybe 30), He was going to order food but declined bc we were all done anyway. We all understand busy days and empathize. But it doesn’t change that we were waiting very long and service suffered. Then to automatically get charged 20% tip seemed unfair. Also, I’d like to point out that the Caprese avacado toast was great, but know that this $16 breakfast dish isn’t full pieces of toast. This is 2 oblong pieces of Melba toast- in total, smaller than one piece of toast at best!

Love going to Molly’s! It’s a fun drinking and dancing atmosphere on weekend nights, or great for a drink with friends on the weekdays as well. I forsure enjoyed my dinner. The staff members were also nice as well, they made sure that I was comfortable. I was thrown off when I could no longer sit at the bar. I get that you all have to make money, but it would have been nice had the guy who took my chair explained why. Luckily the bartender explained what was happening! I suggest maybe giving patrons a warning before taking chairs away at the bar.

The bartender was so rude…also the pricing was horrendous. It was $10 per shot (not even a mixed drink). I asked her to fill it slightly more because it was a low pour. She responded by saying why would I ever do that for you and that any other place would pour like that. I told her that even at the most busy bars (like Ballpark) they give a full shot. She looked at me disgusted, seeming like it was a distress, after I left a 20% tip. I’ve never regretted anything more in my life.

Location is probably correct in claiming to offer one of the areas largest patio venues. Prompt and obscure service. $32 for a cocktail and Caesar salad. But the brussel sprouts! Im sure that no one goes to a restaurant because they offer brussel sprouts, but this might be one time you should. Sweet, sour, spicy, savory and fried. Never tasted any better.

Our first time here! We did have to make a reservation on the site 7 days in advance to guarantee our 1030am spot. Keep your confirmation text their system is glitchy and didn’t have our reservation in the system. Once we were sat the outside vibe was perfect. The 2hr limit on the bottomless mimosas is all you need. We were lit lit by noon! They really top your cup off if they even think it’s low 😬🤣. I had the chicken and waffles . My waffles was overdone but the chicken was bomb.com. My honey ordered corn beef hash and it was chunked vs stripped and he loooooved it! I’ll have to learn how to make it home. Restaurant in the day and bar at night. Food is truly a good menu but yes you’ll be met with hard bread on burgers, and small portions. We even encircled back to visit the nightlife as they say Friday was the only day that they had a good crowd. Truth be told DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE UNLESS YOU WANT TO HEAR MILEY CYRUS AND BACKSTREET BOYS ALL NIGHT LONG. The DJ (some random yt guy) held up a “no request” sign to the whole crowd. Bro… if you have to tell the WHOLE crowd no requests you have to understand they are not feeling you. It was numbing to say the least. Good way to make the bars make money though. After a hour of not hearing one good new popping song it forced us to go get drunk lol. But we left. And I truly understand why they allow so many underage kids in. Because they play prom music and the kids all just got out of high school lol. Food 4/10 nightlife 0/10. BOTH DJ’s played 2005 hits. All night. Are they ever going to change the narrative?

Im not a fan, but many are. Mollys is a nice venue with a variety of outdoor and indoor seating; although, on a busy night, you may not have a seat. Mollys food is good, but I highly question the sanitation of the place. Last time I visited, I dined indoors. The space was full of gnats or maybe fruit flies. It was so bad, one ended up in my drink. Ill commend the customer service, as they took the drink off my bill. Still, I was disgusted by the salt shaker, which appeared to have things other than salt in it. Price-wise, theyre a little pricey compared to other Soulard bars/restaurants. Id say their mixed drinks are almost double that of their neighboring businesses. Plus, they have silly rules like you can get happy hour prices at the main bar outside, but not in the dining room. Mollys typically draws a young crowd. Ive observed several nights, where they had to have been over capacity. The disregard for general safety of their customers and their own employees is a concern of mine. Overall, on the surface level, Mollys looks like a fun place. I dont enjoy it much, but many others do.

I hate giving Molly’s a 1-star for service, as my niece and I visit this establishment frequently. My niece and I attend The Taco Tequila crawl’s that are held once a year and we always stop by at Molly’s first, as that’s our check-in point and then we circle back and make Molly’s our last stop for the delicious oysters and drinks. Yesterday we ordered two glasses of wine. Unfortunately the glasses of wine were not to our liking. I explained to the lovely lady who was taking great care of us, whose name I do not know, that we simply did not care for the wine. I asked if they could be taken off our bill and she said that she would bring the manager over. When the manager arrived she asked what wrong with the wine which was irrelevant. The point is we did not care for what we ordered and should not have to pay for those items. Mind you we were happy with everything else but the wine. The manager who was clearly not going to comply. When asked if I could speak to the person above her, her response was that she was the General Manager. I explained to her that obviously there’s someone above her and I would like their contact info. She refused to not only give me her name, but refused to give me the info of who is above her. She then tells me that I would be paying for the wine even though it was not to our liking. She then goes on to saying that once they open the bottle of wine there’s nothing they can do. I could completely understand if we had drank the whole glasses of wine, but that wasn’t the case. We took a couple of sips and decided it was not to our liking and we shouldn’t have had to pay for something we didn’t care for. Needless to say we were completely disappointed in not only the service, the unprofessionalism of the manager and how we were treated

We went for their Christmas pop up event “LIT” and it was amazing!! The whole place is filled to the brim with Christmas decorations & lights! + festive drinks!! It was definitely neat! Have to book tickets to go. You get a 2 hour time slot. Can book 1-10 people I do believe. Be on the look out though when tickets go live because they sell out fast. I will say soulard is a bar block with multiple bars around a few different streets, so IF there is an event happening or a collage thing going on, be prepared to see a lot of drunk people outside. It’s a party block for sure but not always like this. Only when college events, fundraisers, or events are taking place

This past Saturday I tried their food for the first time and although skeptical when I originally got the invite, I cant give one complaint about my meal. I got the voodoo shrimp to keep it light, and they where perfect, not too spicy just the perfect amount. Also the NOLA BBQ sauce went along perfect with the shrimp (tasted more like a Chipotle than a BBQ.) My GF got the crab cakes which where amazing. The cakes came on top of cold slaw which we both hate but it tasted perfect. The side of sprouts where cooked to perfect as well. Server was fast and helpful.

I had by far the worst experience I have ever had at this establishment. My friends and I had come down to Mollys after having dinner up the street to have a couple drinks for my friends graduation. We sat at the bar after a couple of men left and had ordered our first round of lemon drop shots. We were asked if we wanted to start a tab and didn’t but did order a second round of drinks. We talked amongst ourselves not bothering anyone not loud or disruptive. As we are talking I asked to order wings.. the bartender I believe her name was Layla asked did I want some I said yes and asked what flavors they had and she gave me a menu. We continue to talk and sip on our drinks talking and she asked did we know what we wanted I told her not yet we needed a few more moments to look. Next thing I knew she handed us our checks separately for $16.60 a piece. At that point we knew it was time to go.1. Because her demeanor towards us changed once we didn’t want to open a tab. 2. I did not say I was not going to order anything or that I needed my receipt she took it amongst herself to give it to us after I told her more than once that I wanted food.We decided not to say anything and just pay our tab. One gave her exactly $16.60, I gave $50.60, and the other person gave a debit card.I RECEIVED the wrong amount of change. I did not yell or get an attitude about it. I counted 2x had my friend count 2x and calculator prior to letting her know it was incorrect to make sure I was not missing something. I let her know I was missing my dollar! She proceeded to tell me I was wrong and that I gave her another amount and I had to breakdown what I gave her because she had to come back to get the rest because I wasn’t finished placing my money down when she grabbed it. So she still did not want to be incorrect and told me she owed me .10 cents with a snarky attitude. At this point a lady in a white shirt who hadn’t been around to know what was happening jumped into the conversation looking at the pos like no she gave you the right amount and again she had not.(She went to get the lady) She then turned around to the security guard to ask him was the amount correct. So I pulled out my phone calculator to show the math and that she was incorrect. She then proceeded to say sorry but it’s just a dollar! I wouldn’t care if it was a penny it was mine and the way we were treated I wish I wouldn’t have spent any money here. What made it worse was that they kept on being confrontational towards us with the lady in the white shirt being the loudest and I still did not yell or curse I asked them to be quiet and to stop talking to us and she let the security guard know that we needed to be escorted out but we where already leaving. So that made me mad because they were upset because they were wrong. I still did not yell. So as we are being escorted out my friend needed a moment and the security guard said something disrespectful that he later apologized for and she she was upset.Unfortunately we had to go back because while we were put out because they were too busy arguing with me about change the other person did not receive her debit card back so we had to go back to get it. Now I’m guessing it’s two managers standing at the front with security asking what was needed she let them know her debit card was here and the ladies response wasn’t oh let me check and see. She IMMEDIATELY said Oh you’re the one who were just here..NO we don’t have any cards here. I told her she was lying because they were too busy arguing and again another person who was no where near the incident being RUDE! GUESS WHAT: They HAD the Card!! So now the last person in the party is upset. So many things are wrong within this scenario and what makes it worse is we have the majority of it recorded which I will be posting because we did not deserve the treatment we received. We were not loud, rude, or ignorant. Didn’t yell until the security guard said what he said. I will never patronize Mollys again it is disheartening because I have been here plenty of times without incident.

Today I went to Molly’s for brunch with some friends because a friend was in town. My friend had made reservations and we were a little late (less than 10min). The hostess was rude and acted like it was an inconvenience to seat us. We were wrapping up our meals and had ordered another pitcher of mimosas (had only been there an hour and a half) when the hostess approached our waitress near our table and said we needed to leave because there was another reservation waiting for a table. Our waitress (who I do not blame at all and provided great service) told us she was going to cash us out and we could finish up outside on the patio. We cashed out and stayed on the patio for about 30min. Meanwhile we noticed there was no one waiting to be seated. Before we left we then noticed that our table hadn’t even been cleaned or another party sat there. I am really disappointed. I have never been asked to leave as a paying customer before. We probably would have stayed longer and continued to order drinks, but I personally will not be returning to Mollys.

The Host, Heaven, called me back the day between my reservations made and kept to help accommodate my 90-YO mother and her walker in outdoor seating with 4 other friends. She was great! She was on duty when we arrived and helped get us settled perfectly. Our friends arrived a bit late, but no one fussed even though the place was filling up (St. Patricks Day at 5:30 PM).The food was a bit long in arriving, but hot and to our order when it did (jambalaya was later than the rest; do not know why). The baskets really serve 2-3 ordinary persons! My mom took enough chicken pieces (not small strips!) home for 3 more meals! Also, half her French fries and pineapple slaw came home, too.Music was turned down from blasting when we asked, but I am sure they turned it up after we left at 7 PM, well-sated.The grilled cheese and BBQ shrimp were delightful, said their customers at our table, but too much as well. I could only eat 1 of 2 pieces of good cornbread and about half the jambalaya myself. Our male adult friend ate his whole quesadilla plus some of the side salad and chicken from others orders.5 stars for staff, accommodation, food. They even provide a bus to pick up and drop off customers, so no drivers need drive!Park on the street or in lot, all free.Enjoy!

There are just a few things I wanted to pick at... the bathrooms are one issue, there are stalls in the restaurant area but they aren’t very well maintained during weekend hours. Last night there was a broken beer bottle with pieces of glass in multiple stalls. The furnace was also blasting and it was already pretty warm outside, which makes it VERY uncomfortable. The patio/ bar area that’s covered by an awning has hundreds of holes and leaks when it rains. It should probably be repaired or replaced. Other than maintenance things, it’s a huge space and the ambiance is good. The bartenders are very busy and could smile a little more instead of some of them looking frumpy. I don’t care how many drunk jerks there are there, there are also people that neglect to be stupid or belligerent. :) There was a gentleman in the main indoor bar area that was really pleasant and the patio bar there was a man (possibly a manager) that was kind as well!

A good variety of delicious food - everything from eggs and bacon to brisket with spices and rice. The desserts! Mini creme brulee!!! Yummy crepes made as you like. My only problem was the bar height stools on uneven ground of the patio - a little too wobbly.****** Update: I am removing stars after my previous review. We had reservations there 3 weeks before Mothers Day for Sunday brunch. At 845am, they called to cancel our reservation for 11am because the weather wasnt great (chilly and rainy) so they had to close the patio. I told the lady that we had made indoor reservations, but she simply responded sorry, theres no room. Very disappointing and an inconvenience for 8 people we had meeting from all over. Ended up somewhere else with no reservation and an hour long wait. They should tell people when they make a reservation that it can be cancelled if the weather is bad - I wouldnt be so angry if it werent for the fact I had discussed bad weather with the person who took my reservation in the first place and was told it wouldnt be a problem to move indoors.

However, the Air Conditioning was not working, or if it was working it did not work very well as we were all very hot in July. I had provided the wedding venue address ahead of time but had told them we would play it by ear on what locations we went to for pictures. We ended up going to only two places in Forest Park and then started to head to the venue (which was one block from Mollys) and the driver got lost making us a little late for pictures. However, after our wedding reception, they had reserved the stage for us and guests had a wonderful time. Tried going back for brunch after hearing how dog friendly they were. Friendly is a STRONG word. They will basically allow dogs in the bar only. You cant order brunch foods and cant have full service. Waited at the bar for 15 minutes while the bartender served literally every other person who got there after me before even acknowledging me. Was told that I could only order coffee inside. Weird, but ok, understandable. Only Im alone with my dog and therefore cant go inside. So I choose something else and order my food. THEN get told (AFTER I place my order) that shes not allowed to serve me brunch food, despite it being on the menu. Im fairly new to the area and a new dog owner and Mollys had been touted as one of the most dog friendly places in the city. Its not even tbt most dog friendly place in Soulard. I went down the street to Llewellyns where they happily took my money, loved on my doggo and didnt put me thorough a 20 minute rigamarole just to eat. Overall, good brunch spot, but thats about all its good for.

Great energy and vibes coming from the motley crew of partygoers! Good times (and drinks) had by most!
