Zen Asian Spa

My wife and I are in Minneapolis this week on business. Like always we are in search of the best massage/spa in the area. We found Zen Asian and Tina & Trudy. Hopefully I said their names correctly were terrific. We both had 4 hands massages and it was a couple massage. Terrific and awesome. Thank you and we highly recommend. Charles

Lilly was excellent! She was professional and provided much needed relief from my muscle soreness after my weekend warrior efforts in the garden and around the house! The shop is very clean and all the staff are very friendly! I also like that they do NOT ask you for tips or pressure you in any way like other shops do! Definitely recommend coming here! I will be back.

Massage is pretty good. Bit annoyed the way longer massages are treated. Twice I been shorted 30 mins with promise of time made up next visit. Which its not. Dont book over 1 hour it seems.

Made a last minute appointment for Three hours later on line. When I got they said they were booked. I told them I had driven quite a way. They said I could come back 1 hour later. I got there had a good massage. She then gave me a great gift for the mistake, I was very grateful!!! I will be returning 👍🏾

They did very well! One thing I dislike is the noise and constantly walking in and out, THEY DID NONE OF THAT! Didn’t pressure you for a tip and was happy with the $20 tip I gave her.. they also speak English which is what most Asians spa lacks!They got me in the same day and called to make sure I was coming. The lady who did my massage did such a good job, she really put her back and elbow into it. She even got on the table lol…my body was hurting bad before arrival , trust me , it will still hurt but I can tell so far that my body will not feel any pain in the morning! I feel so much better , I even fell asleep through that pain!Highly recommend and I will be back again for their great prices and effort!

Great walk-in experience. Looks like a 2 person operation. They did have to take a call for reservation, but nothing that would interfere with the quality of service . My fiancée really liked that they stretched us out at the end. I came in with pretty extreme pain in my neck/shoulder blade area. It was comical how tight I was. I am happy to report I can now enjoy Thanksgiving with the family.

I felt listened to and taken care of at Zen Asian Spa. I came in today with a huge knot in my back that was causing a shooting pain all the way up to my neck. Im just one hour, Mia worked out almost all the kinks! The space itself is very welcoming and warm, which is especially important during the cold Minnesota winters. 10/10 would book again!

Mia was beautiful, friendly, and very accommodating. I wanted to find a new massage therapist closer to where I work so I could fit in a visit while on break. The massage was so good I’ve been back five times in a month, and every visit is better than the last. I would highly recommend checking out Zen.

They allow walk ins and were able to take me in right away when I called. I got there right at 7:50pm. I don’t know the massage therapist name but she was nice. However, this is my first experience a complete full-body massage was not provided within the allocated 60-minute timeframe. I’m not sure if it’s because she ran out of time but after the back massage, I was instructed to lie on my back with my face up, and the therapist proceeded to massage my forehead, ears, and arms for about 3 minutes altogether before concluding the session by turning on the lights and stating that the time was up. I was confused as to why my legs weren’t massaged from the front when I literally laid on my back for not even 10+ minutes. I understand it was a 60 minute massage but if she was not able to do a full body massage, she should’ve timed it better as I was the last customer of the night.

It was my first time here at this place. They took me in right away and the place looked generally ok. However! I left there really pissed and thiss why.1.They left the door halfway open and kept on talking to each other from distance.2.There were too many interruptions where they left the room to go grab I dont know what!3.They have you pay upfront with card charges and expect tips without you knowing the quality of Service youll get.I tip depending on how satisfied Im with a service. Thats not all, they came back in to turnover the room for the next client while I was still dressing up.Im sorry but thats how I really felt and I hope this review helps in improving your Services!

I got Mia today! She did a fantastic job. Im a touring musician so I put a lot of strain on my body and she was able to completely fix a sore muscle in my arm. I feel relaxed and amazing. She was super professional and kind! Highly recommend!

Wow- so good! Got the full hour, ( maybe even a few extra minutes!) Didnt beg for a tip either. Very good service. Much different from 1st time. Asked 3-4 times not to do my feet. Kept doing them. Also felt a little uncomfortable with ......

1st time I was a walk in and used a card to pay thought the card fee was a little high but since I was sore thought well 5-6% is what it is. Masseuse Lili was very polite and professional. I like light massages but she knew where to push. I did feel better. It had been some time since my last massage and I thought well I still had some bad kinks why not start my Sunday with a 90min experience.... went to pay with card again and this time the fee was 7-8%... look this is pennies to me but I felt what theft. I run multiple buisnesses and certain types of services we do charge a small fee due to very slim margins and in those cases it is just 2.5%-3% depending on total only to collect the fee our processors charge to us. When I question idk who she was but I got into an argument with her. Buyer beware. Use cash so you dont have to be ripped off. (Trust me they still want a tip even after processing fees)

I enjoyed the companionship and massage very much. For $70 I got the undivided attention of a pretty woman and a great massage for one whole hour. A total bargain in my book. Our conversation was some what limited because of limited english and me being hard of hearing. I did enjoy it very much. I wouldnt mind getting a 3/4 hour massage and 3/4 hour face to face conversation over a cup of hot tea. I think that would be very nice. Book with Julie. She is there Tuesday to Sunday. 9 to 9. Mondays off.

They weren’t that professional. During the massage there was quite a few interruptions and lots of talking to each other (staff). Plus the massage hurt so bad afterwards I think I’ll stick with massage envy or elements massage :) pay more get more

I book for 1 hour massage and she had done only 40 mins. I used to come to see them and they took me at 1.05 pm and done at 1.40pm. Too rush.

I’ve been a customer for years. I try other places, but these women are the best. I’m a triathlete and hate foam rolling, so when I can, I come in for massage. Lily is great! They are all good! Never a bad massage.

Massage was good but none of the girls pictured in the gallery were there. Just middle aged women. False advertisement. Also they need to stop picking up the phone during massages. Very unprofessional

The place is cleaned and I do feel relaxed a little with the massage. But the person that massage me rush through everything. I paid for 1 hour massage and only get 40 minutes massage. Plus, they asked for payment and tip upfront first before massage can start...kind of wierd..!

My wife and me went in for a couples massage both Julie and Mia did and outstanding job.We will be going backAnother thing we love about Zen is the heated tables. Heated tables make a winter massage nice and toasty warm.

They asked me to wait 5 minutes till a room was ready 20m later I was still waiting. I asked for a refund and they refused, physically pulled me into a room closed the door and refused to let me leave. I asked several more times to have my mo ey refunded so I could go. They to me they werent going to refund it. AS I LEFT THE MASUESE CONPLIANED ABOUT ME NOT TIPPING. She said, I had been there so long so she needed a good tip.....

Do NOT go to this establishment.1) linens not cleaned between all clients - towels did not smell fresh2) “futon” mattress was terrible with no hole for my face, which left my neck to the side the whole time and made it hurt more than when I went in3) room and mattress smelled of body odor and my therapist had to spray febreeze to cover up the smell (my clothes smelled of febreeze when I left)4) I wanted a table massage but they are not available for a 60 min massage, or so I was told5) therapist was over worked. Told me I was her 8th client of the day and her hands were so tired she couldn’t do as well

Ive been a client here for about a year, and i made a massage appointment today because Id been having trouble sleeping and also had a severe headache. The headache was so bad, my husband had to drive me to my appointment.During my arm and shoulder massage, the masseuse recommended cutting up some onions and leaving them in my bedroom while i sleep. Apparently its a old Chinese trick to clear your head and improve sleep.After my massage, i was waiting for some time for my husband to return, so the masseuse ran to the supermarket and bought 6 onions for me while i waited!I have to say, that was really going the extra mile!

Booked an appointment at noon. Arrived 10 min early and while just about walking inside, I receive a phone call and text message telling me to come back in an hour due to “busyness”. 1) red flag.Came back in an hour. You have to pay first which was very different to other places. They went back with my card to a different room to take payment. I felt uneasy but okay, whatever.2) red flagShe comes back in and gives me my receipt and a copy to sign. They over charged me 5 bucks more. Which does not say for tax or not.. ok whatever.3) red flagShe then tells me to sign and starts to point at the tip line and says “tip tip”... I was so confused. I thought tip was optional and depending on service. But I told her I’ll give tip in cash. She says ok sure.4)red flagThey proceed to stay in the room while my guest and I took off our clothes.. they could have walked out for the ones who felt conscious and uncomfortable for others privacy.5)red flagBeginning of the massage, 2 of them starts to talk for about 15 minutes straight and chit chats throughout the whole entire massage... ehh.....6) red flagLastly, ended our massage 15 minutes early due to walk ins... first of all, I did make an appointment. I had to come in after an hour although I was literally about to walk inside the building. You guys talked throughout the whole massage. Even forced to tip etc.7) red flagI ended up tipping anyway because.. well I don’t know.Other than that, lee lee who I got was nice. The massages are mediocre. Will I be coming back? Probably not unless I was so desperate and no where else can take me in for a body massage.$125 plus tip for a couples massage that only lasted approximately 45 min. Grr....

I was a walk in on a Friday night seeing if I could get in for a massage here ,I did get in right for a massage,it was very relaxing after a very busy stressful week at work, I will definitely be going back again.

Great place. Had a good experience. Felt nice and relaxed. My back felt 100 times better after my massage. Hit all the right places in my back. Id come back here for sure!!

Keys - I was very comfortable Leyah was great, it never felt like she was trying to apply painful pressure. I did the futon and plan to start a weekly routine..
