Midway Tobacco and Vapor

I purchased an item there and it malfunctioned and literally melted, destroying the item and burning my leg. The manager told me to come in and he would exchange it. When I got there he was completely aggressive and inappropriate. Saying that I broke it. I’m an adult, so I left. This store is a trap house, STAY AWAY FROM HERE. They literally burned me and then laughed at me.I have emailed you already.What’s the point of emailing you if all you’re doing is telling people to email you so it looks like you care. Why would I spend $70 to break something on purpose just to bring it back to your store.? All I want is a refund or a replacement. I’m not even making a huge deal about the burn on my leg that your product caused me. There are so many bad reviews on this if I were you, I would start treating people a lot better at your store. I look forward to hearing back from you very soon.

Had what we needed prices were average to high, when we pulled up a store employee was escorting a man out the worker had a very large knife in his hand as the one problem customer was gone around the corner he continues now focused on a homeless person in front of my truck they exchanged words and left its in a very bad area across from soccer arena. Never a full moment.

Do not buy geek bar from this store, me and my girlfriend bought two of them and they both had the same problem where they would burn extra juice after you were no longer hitting it!

Rude manager, rude staff, overpriced, and the glass is cheap. DO NOT BUY FROM HERE. I bought a glass piece yesterday and when i got home and filled it with water it was leaking all over me. I brought the piece back the same day, unused, and the manager was doubting me, being rude, and making snarky and sarcastic comments to me. We ended up testing the piece which he was doubting me on and it ended up leaking in front of his eyes. He offered to replace the piece but was still being rude at this point. He gave me a new piece but only after “interrogating” me, checking the security cameras, running my cards, checking receipts, and testing out the piece in the end all while making rude comments and doubting that i was actually there on the date of purchase. I understand trying to run a business but this was an absolutely unacceptable way to talk to a loyal customer. I will NEVER be coming back here again and i will be warning EVERYONE about midway tobacco and vape. There are PLENTY of other stores i would rather give my business to. Absolutely awful service and store.

Quite a bit overpriced, but if that isnt an issue 4 u .. most of the staff are very helpful, and they have an excellent selection of just about everything most head shops sell...

Sold me broken glass & when I came back in 3 hours later they called me a liar & said I was there the day before. Tested the glass with water to see it leak then said “we can stay here all night”. Would give them 0 if I could. Did exchange the glass after 20 minutes of being called a liar.

Best tobacco shop on university got nice selection of pipes, bongs and other smoking accessories. There scale selection not that great. There only one scale that does hundredths. But they do have a scale that does thousandths that pretty rare to find at just any tobacco store

Sells disposable vapes that are generally defective.And wont order the cigars I smoke. Asked over a year ago and continue to.Staff is alright.

Clean, discreet, and professional. Three of the many great adjectives I could muster. Midway tobacco has an incredibly large selection of smoking and incense-related products. The prices are very reasonable as well.I would have docked them due to the fact that they don’t accept digital coupons (like the ones in the Marlboro app) but that wouldn’t be fair and at the most it would cost them a quarter star.Location is good and hopefully will get better as business move back into this soccer-stadium area.

3x I have gone there, ask for receipt, cannot get one...spend over $100 and was over charged all 3 times!!!! Tried new juices 2 times I was reassured that the flavors were NOT ICED!!! Both times I got ice...headed my warning, go elsewhere...things have changed for the better, if I choose to go, just know your stuff and by all means GET A RECEIPT!!! PLEASE...

Great atmosphere and extremely helpful and friendly staff! Initially I was having issues figuring out which rig to purchase, thankfully Alex knows her stuff and was able to help me pick out the perfect piece that ended up being the center piece of my collection! I will DEFINITELY be coming back!

Case and point my ecig. I talked to the manager over the phone about my issue. He could have said come in and buy something different, but he didnt. He said come in and I can take a look at it. I went in and he knew right away what was wrong and taught me on how not to do what I did again. Helpful and friendly staff. Not to mention accommodating. I forgot my bicycle lock key and they wouldnt let me bring the bike inside. So a staff member volunteered to watch it while I bought what I needed.

I always have a positive experience here. The staff is always helpful and patience, considering the shenanigans from many of the patrons. Its always busy when I go, it doesnt bother me but if you are impatient might be an issue. Also glad they didnt leave the neighborhood after the chaos of the past year.

I went to look at glass and spoke to Aaliyah (sp?) and she was very attentive and helped me out with everything I was there for, including advice on choosing the right product, how tos, and delightful conversation. Anyone who wants best deals for vapes has to pay a visit to the store because the Guy names KD has the best knowledge on pretty much any vape you lay your eyes on. And last but not least they have the biggest glass selection I’ve seen so far in the city. Best place Honestly. I’ve been a customer for 4 years.

Staff appeared friendly, but not too eager to help me when I asked a question. Purchased the Blue Ox Hawaiian drink(I think that’s the name) e liquid. It has an awful taste, like absolutely terrible. It’s hard to believe anyone purchases this brand juice if this is the quality of all the flavors. Unfortunately, this is the only brand of e liquid they sale that isn’t salts. First shop I’ve ever been too that only offered one brand that’s salt free. Won’t be going back here.

The staff make this a great place. They are always friendly and helpful and they all seem to have a very energetic attitude. They have lots of items that you dont think of a smoke shop carrying? I love these odor eater candles they have in a bunch of fragrances. Some things to be a bit more expensive than done other stores but not all. The parking lot makes it super easy to stop in quick.

I only have time to stop during my lunch break so I appreciate that there are always 2 or more employees and someone is always available to help me as soon as I walk in the door! Quick but very respectful and friendly. Great job guys!!

Vapes are getting spendy.. what happened to the deals

Staff is so friendly and helpful, I drive out of my way sometimes just to be able to purchase from them instead of other stores! I prefer the brands they have of my product over other stores in the area.Only downside is the hours. Ive mentioned just about every time Ive gone in at night that they should stay open later. Ive seen at least 8 people trying to get in within 10-mins after closing before.

Edit: the manager was exceptionally helpful. They did indeed used to allow bicycles inside but because of insurance policy change, are now unable to do so. Still a great store.Always shopped here for the convenience and friendliness of the staff but no more. Its in a high crime area and before, they would let me bring my bike in. Today they would not. There was actually crime in progress on the street in front of the place so no way would I leave my bike outside there, not even locked up tight.

Try GPS or T&A, best juice Ive found. The staff are nice, their mods are marked up but thats compared to ordering online, where you have to wait a week for the product. The in-store products are legit name brand (aka not knockoff fakes) that you can have now instead of in a week. So to me, its worth a few extra bucks. if something goes wrong with a device, if you talk to them their usually pretty reasonable. All in all, i think theyre worth going to again and again.

Went in and ask about certain Hemp. They were very knowledgeable. Good customer service also help me find and pick what I wanted. Definitely will be a regular here in such a welcoming atmosphere.👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾

I love this smoke shop that turns into more things to shop and explore. They always have the latest devices and merchandise that people like to see and purchase. Also the staff there are very helpful and got humor what makes it very cool store for everyone. And they have people who works there from all different cultures. Its a really good store. People are pretty friendly and I usually find what I need. Im not giving it a 5 star due to the VERY limited parking. And if Culvers is busy( it shares the lot) its horrible.

Kinda upset at the fact that I was extra charge with two elfbars that actually cost $17.99 each I bought two and was rip off being charge $72.00 definitely will never come back here again.

Prices are quit high for dutch masters and even worse the glass. Basically China level glass but $25usd for a $4 china bowl and even then. The $25bowl is something that comes with a cheap pieceCant hold a metal screen or product fir $25. Absolutely a rip off, dont shop here

Ive visited this shop multiple times and noticed two employees werent wearing masks. I appreciate that the main cashier and other customers were wearing masks; however, this establishment needs to require everyone to comply with the statewide mandate.Per the note from the store: the incident in question happened the day I posted this review. Im not going to reach out to your establishment. I suspect the people who werent wearing masks must own this business since the cashier was wearing a mask. Youre lackadaisical about the mask mandate and the atmosphere in your shop is not friendly or welcoming. I have no intention of returning to your business.

I needed a small bottle while waiting for my juice to come via usps. They messed up my order (no nicotine) I realized it hours later when I started jonesing. Called the place up and they made me up another bottle on them! Their blue ox is a great flavor.

I am new to St Paul from South / NE Minneapolis. If you were born here then you know that the Twin Cities have had a long and petty sibling rivalry. The one thing I notice and hate about St. Paul is that everything closes extra early for absolutely no reason ( kidding Im sure its the law or something ) . With that being said this tobacco shop is the one place in my new neighborhood that reminds me of home ( NE Mpls ) . The guys that work here are super chill and down to earth. They are friendly yet professional. If you have any questions about products they are all pretty well informed . If by chance they dont know the answer to your question they are not shy about asking a fellow employee and working together. This place is clean and organized and seems to be doing quite well. Went in with my janky old vape pen, and the staff there went out of their way to help and make sure that I had what I needed to keep my ancient silver-smokie-mare firing along!I couldn’t remember which coils I needed, but two very helpful guys knew exactly what I needed and also found a newer tank style that would work with my EVOD-style unit.Each visit I find consistently awesome service and patient, knowledgeable staff!Yeah, they may get busy, but that’s a good thing, right?If there’s a line, they’ve got plenty of great stuff to check out while you wait - everything from glass to snacks.People who comment about stuff that happens OUTSIDE the store (like getting asked for bus change...), that’s the street, bud.Can’t really do much about that!The things that they CAN control - like inventory, selection, and customer service - they are *fantastic.*

The guy with the beard was SO friendly, helpful, and personable. A few days ago was my first time in there and I will be back. There was a little bit of a line, but it went fast and since I didn’t have my ecig with me, I googled my model and he looked to make sure he had the coils and he found out he sells alllll the coils for the vaporesso luxe 2. I can’t find these coils anywhere. So I will definitely be back. I like their prices on. Their house juice , my only question for the owner or whoever responds to customers on here, do you sell the bubbled glass for the vaporesso luxe 2? I break my glass all the time and can never find the glass for it.

A comfortable smoke shop with great variety and selection! The staff is very friendly and helpful, and the environment is very inviting. They have a wide range of tobacco products: bag tobacco, a room of cigars, cigarettes, all kinds of rolling papers and wraps. Their glass selection is nice as well, and I even spotted some hookahs on a high shelf. I highly recommend this spot if youre looking for convenience.

I used to think they were wonderful until today. I bought a 27.00 battery piece about 2 or 3 weeks ago and it broke about a week ago. I went in to get it replaced. They do not stand behind their product. He had the nerve to ask me if it work when I left the building. He told me he would SELL me another one but he would not replace the one that was broken.Personaally I think that stinks. I already spent 27.00 plus the part that you put the liiquid in. I think that was another 10.00. He said he has customers that spend much more then I do. So I will be going to Simply Vapor on Cope in Maplewood. Plus they deliver through the mail and they are still a couple dollars cheaper.

Kinda sketchy i used to come here all the time when it was accross the street and it was so dope nice staff and good products and deals... But now i went in to buy a new and i saw the one i wanted picked it out and paid for it ( i alway open my products in store to make sure it works before i leave) and by doing this i saw a used coil and tank so they they tried to sell me a used vape ( by god knows who) and acted like they had no idea then they made me take one in another color that i dident lick insted of giving my money back

The staff is pretty amazing, however, parking could be better.. maybe its them, maybe its Culvers, but either way that drive-thru is in the wrong spot! Lol..

Ive been shopping with them since they moved across the street and opened in their current location and even prior so for some years now and only once have I encountered or experienced any such sort of negative interaction with only one employee and I dont see him anymore so all in all I really did the place and its employees so kudos to the owner and his team

They had the glass I needed for my smok, but before one of the employees found it for me, one of the owners assured me they didnt have it; I decided to look anyway.They dont allow you to try juice before you buy.And finally, after I paid and was about to leave, some dude was hanging out inside of the store, aggressively asking to bum my change. Standing between me and the door outside, he said Hey man, you have $2! Im tryna catch the bus!Yes, I do. But theyre my dollars. Now excuse me.

Bought 2 boxes of Tops premium gold 100mm filter tubes yesterday 8/11/20. The date on both boxes is 11/06/19, injected tobacco into one of the tubes from a bag of tobacco I haven’t finished yet and got a really bad after taste from these tubes. Don’t know if they have been cross contaminated from something or what but don’t purchase these because you’re going to be disappointed and it’s highly unlikely they will give you a refund.ps. The tubes are the 250 pack for 2.99 plus tax. They smell like a camp fire or something.

I stopped in here with a couple friends and I personally was looking for vapor products and I asked a question to the lady behind the counter about the products. So she started telling about the vapes like it was built from NASA science.. I went woo lady slow down, I had no idea salt was even used with vaping woo.. She knew her shhh.. Umm products!! Ill be back soon after a lil research into the salt thang! You learn something new evrr daii.;)

Only place around that carries the specific coils I need for my specific vape.This store has a very large variety of e cig and vape juices to choose from and all of which are very fairly priced compared to other vape shops in the neighborhood.Employees are knowledgeable about all the products they sell so every visit is a quick in and out experience with hardly ever any speed bumps.Also a very large selection of glass pieces available which are also very modestly priced.Overall this is one of my favorite tobacco/vape shops. I would highly recommend this store for all of your tobacco / vapor / and glassware needs.

I went there on a Monday, bought a vape that I thought was a bit overpriced but the employees were very helpful so I didnt worry as much. By Thursday it had stopped working so we went back. They quickly said that they would replace it and offered me a different kind even though I just wanted to replace the one I had purchased. We didnt have the box with us but he said he didnt mind if we took the new vape and brought the box back for the old one the next day. I ended up looking up what the new one cost versus the one I had originally purchased. The one that they replaced my purchase with was half the cost. When my boyfriend went back in the next day to explain we had seen that the replacement was worth half the original, they said that they couldnt do anything about it because they had already given us the new one. They prey on newbies who dont know the cost of anything. I ended up paying $65 for an eleaf iStick that doesnt cost more than $30 anywhere else. Lets just say that Ill never be going back.

Went to their establishment at 830pm, closes at 9. I know Im getting close to close, but 30 min is plenty of time. Employees were smoking outside the establishment but wouldnt open to doors for business. If youre going to close early, dont sit nearby and watch your potential customers struggle with a locked door and chat about it

The tobacco shop is great itself but be careful and never go behind the shop. I got mugged in my car at pascal and university after visiting here.

Really unsanitary! Instead of like normal vape shops who cut the package and keep the single coil contained, they pop them out, handle them, stick it on the counter and then youre supposed to use it? Its now dirty, you should just cut them into individuals and keep them clean.Little tiny bottles of juice are $9! Really? I get 30 mils for $10 at my normal vape shop.Two stars for the nice dude who waited on me. Wont be back.

People here are awesome and casual, they have alot going, dont expect anything fast, just know its done right.

Have bought numerous items from this place but out of the blue one day they just stop selling anything to me cause I’m “underage” even tho I have bought cigarettes from there so I must be of age then.

A guy i know was using smoki g this stuff the other day and said its a smokeable supplement usex for energy that he gets from this shop. Cant remember the name (I think he called the brand hail) but it looks kinda like little waxy whitish rocks they must order bulk or make it in store because you can buy as much or little as you want. I really liked it! Gave me tons of energy and productivity, way more than like a green vein kratom! The only thing was it doesnt have a long effect and tasted chemically when smoked. Also had a good selection of vapes here i might go back to check out.
