Brandys

Great local bar. Just what I look for when Im looking to go out and have a night out with friends. They have pool tables, a dart board, and some great bands. Reading other reviews I decided to try the beer before reviewing and found it to be crisp, fresh, and great tasting. The other drinks were equally refreshing and well made. Looking forward to my next visit!

Its become the pits. Bartenders suck. Arent professional at all. Spend more time getting drunk with each other than they do serving the paying customers. The often instagate and provoke fights. The place smells like puke. Countertops and tables are filthy. Over the last few years it has went down hill fast. Bartenders and wait staff all pretty much openly using drugs. Went from a nice old fashioned neighborhood country sort of bar... To a crappy place filled with drug dealers and prostitutes. So sad. Would not recommend it to anyone.

Pay no attention to the trolls posting the week of august 9th, 2016. They a group are bashing this business because over a quarrel from a video game.Ive been to Brandys while bar crawling in St. Pete many times. Its a dive bar, and thats whats appealing. The drinks are low priced and the shots are well poured and strong.Staff has not only always been friendly, but caring too. Ive experienced them calliing cabs or uber for way too drunk to drive patrons.I have major issues with smoke causing immediate migraines. Thats my only complaint and reason for no 5th star only. But for appeal, price, and staffing I strongly recommend Brandys.I do not know the owners personally and have never met them. Im just aware of the fake review issue through friends. Having visited Brandys often, I felt it was necessary to try to help out and clarify things. The fake reviews have also been reported.

Fun dive bar ,good music , fun staff, cheap drinks. Not fancy but fun, smoke is a bit heavy at times. The other guy that posted a negative review mustve been thrown out. Ive never experienced any of what he said.

Brandys is still a basic bar with live music, pool, drinks and good times. It still fulfills the needs of adults that want to forget their lives or work and let their hair flag down. With this in mind I was horrified at how it has evolved. For example, the drinks are weak and over priced, the roach coach is tasteless, the bar area was a mess, the bass player had an old worn gray shirt that was hideous, behind the bar was missing a femme fatale ,the Bar leaser (yes she does not own it) was parked with her fledglings all around her by the best gathering location in the bar ( I could here the sucking noise from the pool area), the crowd was just lame and the woman with tattoos-geez. Finally, spend some money and remodel the bathrooms and put flat screens behind the bar. Also, go back to free pouring drinks instead of the Shirley temple drinks that are being slung.

Brandys rocks. Characters galore. The Staff and Sue keep me happy!!Poker. Pool. Darts. Juke box. Drink specials. Karaoke. And the drama in the ladies room..... JK- just checking!Weekend bands. Jam night. Love the Bob hope band!!Sunday comedy night.Never a dull moment.Whew!

Live music on the weekends, no cover, 2 pool tables. Reasonable drink prices, can be smokey when bar is busy.

I like it. But i like most bars. Nice lil place but no food. If they had a kitchen id b here all the time

This is our date night go-to place for drinks,the drinks arent watered down and a great price for each drink.U gotta try it,its worth the $$$$$$.

Great laid back open jam tues-thurs, 4-7. Host very accommodating. Older crowd.
