Took my wife in the morning for the 80min couples massage. It started a little off and seemed disorganized before it started but we were the 1st appt in the morning, and the front staff had not arrived yet added to the confusion, but we got that worked out. It begins with them walking you across the hotel to the Sports Club to get changed. There are showers, a steam room, and a hot tub there in each locker room. Then they have you come back to the spa for the massage to start. We added the deep tissue and scalp massage and did not disappoint. My wife and I agree that it was probably the best massage we have ever had. They offer a glass of champagne to start and then again at the end to wind down. It was a great experience. Later, the day we returned to the spa for pedicures. They were good and would say above average compared to others. The girls were friendly and nice and offered champagne through the service. Probably added to them talking me into getting festive polish on my toes, lol. For those who are nail spa regulars, they offer Dazzel Dry products. I would recommend this spa again.
I got a Crystal facial by Christine and it was absolutely fabulous! The treatment is half facial and half massage. She was excellent and this was one of the best services I’ve ever had. The staff is wonderful and I’d book again with Christine without thinking twice.
I had an excellent massage with Rhonda and a wonderful lunch at Paul’s Landing. I gave the spa an overall rating of a three because for me, if I’m going to pay top dollar for a massage because of the amenities, I want the amenities to be working well. Unfortunately, my favorite amenity, the Jacuzzi, was barely warm. A staff member working nearby said there was nothing she could do to help.
If you are anything like me…you want everything to go smoothly before and during your “Spa” experience. And if it doesn’t you simply want the staff to assist with making sure things go well. I am very thankful and grateful for “Jill” due to her outstanding customer service, going above and beyond. Overall turning things around after a minor miscommunication. She made sure all was excellent!!! like waiving a magic wand. A big shout out to Paul the massage therapist who has techniques I have not experienced before (as a world traveler) he also complimented my great Spa experience!!! Very appreciative of Lauren (front desk) who booked my appt and for her attention to details even before I went to the Vinoy Spa!
My sister and I had our haircut by a stylist, we believe her name was Jenny, and it was the worse cut weve ever had. I have an appointment on Saturday to get it fixed by another stylist at another salon but we feel so disappointed. For the money we spent, we expected better results and discussed, at length with our stylist, the best way to go with our hair texture. We followed her advice and the result was awful for both of us. We did get pedicures as well and those were awesome. We are locals and just wanted to hang at one of our favorite hotels and enjoy the day. Great hotel but skip the salon for any cuts,
Massage and facial were great. The massage therapist and aesthetician are well trained. They used good quality products. Facilities are cramped and outdated. This isn’t a “spa” but more like a salon with a few small rooms for services. I could hear the hair dryer going in the next room during my massage - not relaxing. The hotub and sauna are in the gym area so you have everyone coming in after gym classes. This isn’t the place to have a relaxing luxurious experience. Just get a massage and leave. Staff are cold and no one seems happy. Spent 3 hours there and left no more relaxed than when we arrived. Staff said they are creating a new, bigger spa next year. Wait until then to go.
Came here for a massage, wanted 90 mins but they only do them in 50 or 80 mins increments so I went with the 50 min since it was towards the end of the day. The massage was nice, but expensive and I had to go through a whole maze to get where I needed to be, a little crazy in there. Once I got to the space it was okay but not sound proof or extremely relaxing just a random office space they threw a massage table in. Overall, I think it would be nice if I was staying on the property but to go out my way certainly not worth the price they charge.
Amazing massage, very friendly staff however if you are self conscious about walking around a hotel in a bathrobe you may want to reconsider. You check in one area and then have to walk to another area through the hotel to the fitness area to change. Just to walk back down to the check in area. Very poor layout, we will not be returning.
Thank you for the best massage and excellent customer service, Absolutely relaxing and beautiful!! 5 stars.
Had a Dazzle Dry mani/pedi with Rachel. Phenomenal finished product and such a great experience. Rachel was a delight; she was engaging, witty, and full of joy! Highly recommended!
I would not recommend this spa to anyone We booked it as a mothers day treat and were very underwhelmed. The spa facility was super dated and because we were attending on a Friday we were not allowed to use the pool, which we were not informed of until we arrived so it felt like we paid a premium for an inferior experience.
Lisa does a phenomenal job dying, styling and cutting my hair. I have been using her for years and will not get my hair done anywhere else!
I was jealous escorting my hubby for his Fathers Day gift. Ill have to schedule something for me later. Always a treat!
Nail techs the best. Great facial from christina British lady
