UPDATE TO FIRST REVIEWI returned to Bamboo gardens because of severe sciatic pain. She went above and beyond to try to allow me some relief from my pain. When it was apparent after the first hour that there was no improvement she put me back on the table for another 30 mins and continued working on the affected area. She did not charge me for the added time. It was clear this therapist was not doing this work for money she does it because she cares. My pain has since subsided.I was in so much pain when I called for appointment. They got me in within 3 hours. The massage was incredible and I left pain free. The office atmosphere is relaxing and exhilarating. Definately worth the cost. A++++

It was OK for a massage. Was not thrilling. Was no warning for the 9000 degree hot towel placed on my back and he said something about cream then put something on my back that started burning like crazy and when asked he said heat cream. Too much time spent wiping down with towels and not enough massage time. Head massage felt like a scratch more than a massage. Not worth going back for, but they were very nice and it was clean and offered hot tea and water.

I received a very relaxing facial from Danya. My face feels and looks great! I even fell asleep a few minutes. Oops. She was friendly and knowledgeable. She knew exactly what I needed for my skin. I also received a reflexology foot massage, so relaxing. Lovely people. The facility was clean and welcoming. They offered water and tea. Off street parking. Well worth making an appointment.

I really enjoyed my massage. I called late morning to see if they would be able to get me in and luckily they were able to get me in same day. The parking lot is a little tight but there were plenty of spaces open. The waiting area really sets the mood with calm and quiet environment. They offer tea and water while you wait. Their prices are fair. I spent under 100 for a 60min deep tissue body massage, tip included! My masseuse really focused on the areas I requested with the perfect amount of pressure. There were gentle stretches to the hips, legs and arms, which was new to me but I liked it. I felt so relaxed after and will definitely go back for another massage with the hubby! I would recommend!

Started feeling sciatic pain again so I made a 30 minute appointment with Stanley for acupressure treatment. I left there feeling great but wishing that I had scheduled a 1 hour treatment.

I just had one of the best massages of my life 🥹💕💕 Bamboo Garden was not only a clean and relaxing space, the staff were super talented and respectful. The hot stones were so wonderful and she kept replacing the towels with warmer towels while applying perfect pressure. You could tell they are very knowledgeable by her massage technique and holding certain pressure points that completely helped relieve stiff back pain and tight hips. Such a wonderful experience, I will definitely go back. Thank you thank you thank you!

Came in for a deep tissue massage and was not dissapointed. Very friendly staff helped me through the process because this was my first ever massage. Stanley was wonderful and did an amazing job. Theres no more tightness in my lower back or shoulders. Will definitely be back!

I visited the Bamboo Garden Massage & Spa today for the first time. I was immediately welcomed as I walked through the door. The lobby was clean and inviting with a peaceful ambience. The facility was also secure and safe.Stanley provided my very first foot reflexology, foot soak, and hot stone massage for me. It was an amazing experience. He took the time to answer any questions I had, and he didnt rush through the process. The service I received was excellent, and I will be booking another appointment soon.

Incredible 60 min couples massage! The staff on the phone were friendly and explained how we didn’t need the Groupon because they just match the price. At the spa, they have a no shoe policy, which showed, because the place was spotless! They repeatedly offered us water or tea. We appreciated that they actually read the pre massage form we filled out and double checked our pressure preferences. During the massage, they checked again, and made adjustments as asked. The room for the massage was kept comfortably warm and had a great smell with the diffuser. My husbands favorite part was that they did the a thorough scalp massage, and my favorite part was the acupressure built into the massage. If I had to say one downside was the room had big windows so some lights snuck in, but they ever addressed that by having a washcloth to drape over our eyes when we were on our backs.I can’t wait to go back and highly recommend!

Ive been here 2 times in a week and loved it! the staff are very friendly and caring! I got a 60 minute massage which was excellent. I have a lot of pain in general but I felt much better after. I also got teeth whitening done and my teeth look amazing! I will be going back for sure for both of these again!

Got a deep tissue message and acupuncture. Relieved so much pain and tension from a shoulder injury. Highly recommend a one hour message here! Excellent customer service and very hygienic. Will be purchasing a gift card for my dad who has back pain.

My boyfriend and I went in for massages & had the best experience!! Not only was Lin very wise & gave me advice to help my migraines, but had very strong hands to rub out my athlete boyfriends sore muscles. I had Stanley for a shoulder/neck/head massage and it was the best deep tissue rub to help my headache. He also rubbed my lower back very gently, as I am pregnant & asked consent before applying a hot gel, which my boyfriend purchased after because it worked so well! Great prices & I already recommended to my friends and family after leaving! 10/10 :)

My husband and I had a couples massage here this week, they did a fantastic job. The massages were thorough and relaxing, we got to pick our aromatherapy, and hot stones and the oils used felt wonderful. Definitely will be coming back.

Just had an amazing professional experience here and the customer service is perfect. I did not want it to end it was absolutely amazing! I will definitely be coming back time and time again and will be telling everyone I know about this place! They were so nice and professional and they let you choose an essential oil of your choice for the massage and what kind of massage you want with what pressure intensity. I will definitely be coming back!

My husband and I went in for a couples massage and it was absolutely amazing. Probably the best massage I have ever had. They hit pressure points, applied herbal salve, used hot stones to massage before placing them on the spine. The salve was intense but felt fantastic. I am so impressed!

Scheduled short notice due to a migraine and they got me in very fast. Also my first professional massage. Facility was so clean and they were very friendly and made me relaxed and very comfortable for my first massage. Will be back for more

This last weekend I brought my fiancé here for a couples massage. The staff was very professional and skilled and it was just the treat we needed. After the massages, they made us some nice hot tea and gave us clear instructions on aftercare as well to preserve the benefits of the massage.

OMG. I went there with migraine headaches and shoulder pain, I felt better within 30 minutes. Lin is the best massage therapy at ever. Good hospitality, great smile, and service. I really recommend this place. I found what I been looking for. Since moved here from California it has been very hard to find a good massage place in Salem till I meet Bamboo massage and spa. Know they have all in one they also have facial.

Our 90 minute couples massage was very nice. Both therapists were professional and adaptable to our needs. I went for hard pressure while my boyfriend went for medium. I would describe it as vigorous muscle massage with some assisted stretching. We left feeling limber and loose. We would definitely go again.

Just lovely. My wife and I booked a couples massage through groupon and we were treated with a very high standard of respect courtesy. There was a clean, gentle relaxing atmosphere and the therapists who worked on us were attentive and caring, paying attention to our pains and specific areas wile also being gentle and mindful of recovering injury. First massage in years. Ling was my therapist; wonderfully professional full body work, clean sheets, professional techniques and loved the extra warm towels to wipe off excess oils.

Very professional and courteous. I recently started taking advantage of the massage with cupping. I highly recommend it. I suffer from hip pain and it has almost made it disappear. It is pretty high pressure for those sensitive people, also be warned that your skin will be very purple for a few days and you might even feel pain for the first few hours or day but afterwards you can really feel the difference as far as pain relief.

I tried this with a Groupon. I needed a deep tissue massage as I had incredibly tight muscles and pain. Very friendly greeting and a peaceful atmosphere. Li did an amazing massage without leaving me bruised and sore as some have in the past. Hot stones and hot towels to help with relaxation. The place itself is clean and quiet, tucked into a small strip center. Well worth finding this little gem. I already booked my next appointment.

I went in for a Tui Na massage, and I could really feel the effects. Stanley found spots I didnt even know were painful and cleared it up, as well as making a big dent in the pain and stiffness in my hips and low back. They made sure I knew what to do when I got home, too. I definitely recommend coming here.

I got facial and massage a few weeks ago, and it was an amazing experience. I could say that I had found the best massage therapist (Lin) and esthetician (Danya) in town. I highly recommend this place and looking forward to coming back.

I go to Lin for cupping and today my husband and I went for a couples massage done by her and her husband. It was absolutely AMAZING!! I highly recommend her for cupping and massage . This is definitely going to be something we do regularly !

I requested an appointment here with Lin after experiencing some bad shoulder pain. She fit me in last minute, recommended a treatment that would help (go for the Hot Stones, yall), and it was a great experience overall. The space is clean and inviting, and Lin was kind and professional. Highly recommend.
