Never tried that the food but heard that its pretty good.The service is what one would claim superb among many words. Fast to get drinks and return to your company.The atmosphere is wonderful. Fun and friendly faces come from all over to hang and relax. The live music is great.All in all everyone should give this place a shot if looking for a cool place to park!

I went to a fund raiser there. I had an excellent burger and fries. The owner sat down next to me and offered me a taste of a non alcoholic beverage I didnt even know existed. I think it was awesome she opened her business to this venture.

Update: Went to the Westside Station for a musical benefit for Vik-a-Thon, on 06/02/2024, to raise funds for a dear friend, Vic Lund, who had a major car accident and is paralyzed from the chest down with a spinal injury. It was a great turnout of most all the Willamette Valley musicians in support for Vic and his wife, Carla Lund for expenses due to his unfortunate accident. The Westside Station was Awesome to host this event and it was a huge success! Thank you Westside Station, Kevin Hanson who hosted the event and all the musicians for making this happen!Went for Songwriters Night, hosted by Kevin Hanson live music show on 03/17/2022 and had an awesome time! Always friendly service from the bar staff and tasty bar snacks along with a few beers to wash them down. Enjoyed hearing toe tapping guitar music from Ray and Renee Hill Meredith Duo singing their originals! Best show in Oregon! 5 Stars! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The morning server is friendly as soon as I walk in she already knows what I need I recommend this place if u like a nice quiet but fun bar i dont drink but i do like rootbeer and when i need to cool down

This is a great place where we love to come & eat dinner & dance on the weekends. But as of late the service hasnt been the best. Weve had to go up & order our food & drinks. They lost the best waitress. When we would walk through the door shed meet us at the table with our drinks. Hopefully it gets another great waitress.

Went there tonight, and went to go smoke; asked the bartender if she’d watch my food and she said yes. I come back in, and she’s tossed all my food, etc. She said she thought I had left; she said that “communication is key” Not sure if she noticed that she’s working at a bar. Just completely rude and wasted my money due to her tossing my order. Not going back, wouldn’t recommend anymore, especially if you smoke. Your things may get tossed if you “take too long”. Poor customer service.

Its a dive bar, and they dont try to be anything that they arent. The service is fantastic, and if youre looking for a great place to relax, thats welcoming and has great drinks, youre in luck.

Hopping place, great live music. Bar service was responsive. First time there to see the band, got the last available table. His selection and price on drafts. Cocktails were good. Fries were hot and tasty. Would go back.

This place has a pretty great service, the employees are friendly and remember your face when you come in the next time, This is now our new place to go, they have some pretty rad live bands that play on some weekends, Karaoke during the week, they have a few pool tables as well. All in all I feel its a nice little local bar in west Salem.

Food was affordable, a little undercooked. Service was exceptional. Indoors was a little dark but looked clean. Pool table, floor is not level to shoot pool. Amazing drinks.

I love jamming here and watching the bands..French fries need a makeover and although there two pool tables, you will find that when playing on the table in front of the bar, one side of the floor dips...

Always, always, always great hambugers and home cut fries! Reasonable drink prices. Fantastic taco salads on Weds eves . . and had the best Philly Cheese Steak Sandwich Ive ever had in my life, there last night!

Loved the prime rib last Saturday. More than enough, great flavor, and darn good value. What this photo doesnt show is the salad.

Westside is the place where the locals love to hang out. They have love music some nights, dance floor, pool tables and the Oregon Lottery.Its just a relaxing place to hang out. Its large enough that you dont feel crowded in or claustrophobic. Id recommend it to any one that wants a relaxing good time.

As far as dive bars goes , this one is fantastic. Very friendly staff and patrons can I hear theyve got a fantastic prime rib on Friday.

Their wings, dear lord! Tap selection is great, tenders keep the place lively and also chill, as well as fun, owners pride shows in this wonderful gem of the west side.

The dude that either runs it or works there is one of the rudest people you could meet. Walked out with my food that I didn’t pay for because he handed it to me and I walked out. Walked back in to pay and he angrily says “is there a problem?” I said well yeah you never rang me up. He realized how stupid his mistake was but still kept an attitude. Didn’t even say thank you for being an honest person. The food was disgusting. Made me sick. I should have know after seeing how they wrap plastic wrap over their cups of sour cream, which was warm! Will never go back here for food or drinks and I wouldn’t if I were you either.

Ordered prime rib medium rare. Got thin cut, well done, barely palatable beef. Bloody Mary was too spicy, but at least somewhat drinkable. Servers, though, were friendly and nice.

I like Westside,never ate there,and if I do burgers will be better than steaks,from what the tourists say,when they visit!! Staff is always friendly enough to get u a drink,Bands are pretty good,but never a dj show,I think once a month,a dj would be a nice change,play some classic rock and other classic dance music. 100dollars a night is cheaper than a band,any day!!but it a ok boring dive bar!! Hate the bathroom,that should be illegal,no toilet paper or soap!,bring ya own,u might need to.!!!

The bartender girl is amazing. Most people would shut down under the stress of 40 drunk people all wanting to order drinks and food and lotto but she manages to stay cool, calm, and collective while maintaining a very professional attitude. So I give you two thumbs up! Unfortunately I never caught her name but youll know her when u see he shes the prettiest bartender Ive seen in a long time and I really dig her style. Westside is fortunate to be her employer.

Clearly a bar full of regulars. Haard to catch the bartenders attention. Then it felt like we were bothering her to get an additional drink. I had high hopes since i drop people off there all the time driving forl Uber. I will not be back. Enjoy your regulars

This place attracts some great talented bands, has good drinks, good food, and a nice staff. On the negative side the building should be condemned, and the crowd is a mix of sometimes homeless looking people , bikers , druggies, and a few eccentric lost souls.

Thursday night jam was so fun I wish more people would have been dancing but will be back

My experience with the slow heavy guy working before 6 today. Ordered something to go. Gambled for quite awhile thinking it was being cooked. I went to him after a half hour and he started acting busy with customers who had just come in. He told me when he was done with them he would go get my order. I mentioned I hope it wasn’t cold. He assured me it wouldn’t be. He moved as slow as possible helping these new customers. Well apparently he forgot and had to remake my order. Steak was way too tough and not seasoned. It was very charcoaled on the outside The fries were cold and hard. I waited 45 mins for cold disgusting food. It’s unfortunate because the Friday night steak special is so delicious and you get good service. This employee needs to work for the DMV because he moves like a sloth

Great watering hole with friendly staff, awesome live music, and great karaoke on Sun-Wed nights. The food is awesome, especially the steak, prime rib (on weekends) and french dip. They also have nightly specials.

Well believe it or not Ive lived here for 52 years and I have never been there before. Ive always heard good things about it Ive just never have been there thanks to Sheldon Roy the bass player from Happy Hour asked us to come and listen to everyone jam at Open Mic Night tonight. IT WAS AWESOME, great musicians and Fallon will definitely be back again thank you again

So this is one of the places I frequent a lot to play video poker. This bar had been around moody of my life and is a definite historical marker Ford at least 40-50 yrs now. If you like karaoke and rock and roll them you would line this place.

Dont bother going if youre not a regular. I could have walked out without paying, and the bartender probably wouldnt have noticed. The regulars were served four times to my one time. I sat there 10 minutes with cash in my hand to pay for my one drink before I was asked if I needed anything

The bartender/ waitress was informative, friendly, and just awesome. We were out smoking she tracked us to the out side smoking table we were sitting at, to make sure it was hot. Always checked our drinks. Even though it wasnt all that busy Im sure it wouldnt have changed a thing about the service and the burger and fries top notch.

Loud, fun, great staff, the atmosphere is always amazing and you walk out of there with the staff telling you bye and see you next time.. they have live karaoke and live bands and host a serious of events.. its a wonderful place to unwind after a hard day at work and oh yeah, the food is so good.

A place where I had to pay for the same food more than once. Not exactly my idea of the greatest service that there can be. So why two stars, the quality of food is actually quite good. Just be prepared to have to pay more than once for the same meal.

Ive personally only been in a few times. The bartender was nice, they have pool tables, and a juke box(touch tunes). Drinks are average price for a bar. I really never had a problem with it. What I do have a problem with is that my girlfriend decided to go have a beer here and was slipped something in her drink. She left when she started feeling really strange before even finishing a beer. After throwing up for hours she then literally couldnt move. She was extremely sick for a few days and almost had to go to the hospital. So please everyone be extra cautious and dont leave any drinks unattended. Its really messed up and sick that people would do this.

Interior needs a little work. Staff is very friendly. Drinks are tasty. Wheelchair accessible. Live musical performances and karaoke. Small outdoor smoking area you can enjoy your drinks at. Great local watering hole.

Having just turned 21 recently I haven’t been to many bars yet so I don’t have Much to compare this too, but my uncle and fiancé love coming here for karaoke on Sundays and I’ve nothing to complain about. This place has pretty good food, good beer, I have enjoyed the few mixed drinks I’ve tried so far, and the staff is always super friendly and attentive. Never had any issues with this bar atleast! Will definitely keep coming back!

They charged my friend $3.50 for a drink and me $5 for the same exact drink that night. The bartender said it was because the Strawberry mix was hard to find and thats not the first time my friends or I have been charged different prices for the same drinks on the same night with little or no explanation.

My friend is a Salem police officer. And a patron of your establishment. They felt ostracized by a patron today, but the server asked THEM to leave. I know their #1 priority is the safety of others, so sad they aren’t honored for selfless public serviceGuess I’ll avoid your venue until I hear better

This definitely is a bar, but they do have a decent selection of food. Price points were affordable and matched the quality, which is not meant in a negative way. Wonderful local vibe and lots of happy hour deals. Great spot to down an after work happy drink and happy dinner. Oh, and the staff was really friendly!💯👍

GREAT MUSIC by Nightlife! Dont recommend the appetizers (worst anywhere) but their salads, club sandwich, and prime rib are absolutely the best youll get in Salem! Saturday night service was flawless! I hear the bartender is awesome.

We are up here from California and our friend took us here on a Saturday night. It was awesome, a live band and 11$ for prime rib with baked potato, salad and bread. Great food and good service. Great service, this is a bit of a dive bar so if you are expecting a big city night club you are gonna be very disappointed. But if you want good local music and a dark, used atmosphere, it is just what you are looking for. There is no PBR, so that is a negative for me. Its a little rough and dingy, but theService is fast and the beer is cold. There is an outdoor area.

I love how this place reminds of the dive bars back home. The bartenders and staff are great. The worst part about this place is their Open Jam they do every Thursday. Ive gone multiple times in an attempt to let them redeem themselves, but they failed everytime. They wont let you play if you dont know any of the songs that the guys on stage know to play. If youre looking to see a bunch of washed up dudes in their mid to late 40s play hits from the 80s that everyone has heard a million times then this is place for you. I wouldnt recommend for any serious musicians looking to create original music at an OPEN JAM.

Nice little place. Pretty cold, no heat turned on with the door open. Karaoke was a good time, service was ok. Food needs work, as it gave me an upset stomach. Still probably going to return again.

Asked for another beer three times, no joy, finished my dinner. If waitress had offered one on the house I would have tipped anyway. Eventually ordered another, and at least tipped on that. Good loud band, definite dive but a good one. Above reviews correct. Sad birthday.

Great music and awesome staff

Wasnt really my kind of crowd walking in, but it turned out to be a great experience. Only giving 4 stars instead of 5 because of the cleanness. The place makes you feel like you need a shower when you walk in.

I started coming here for the rotation of bands every weekend: middle-aged rockers playing old favorites with a surprising amount of competence. What kept me coming back was how quickly the place felt welcoming. The cherry on this proverbial sundae is the price: no cover to get in for music, fantastic prices on drinks, and probably the best cost-to-quality ratio on food.

In a time when people need to stay apart, a restaurant like Westside Station has a hard time. The balance of staff, with a reduced customer density means the income may not meet costs. This full-service dining room has plenty of everything for the customer. Special orders are not a problem for them, as they manage turn tables while keeping customers very happy.I reccomend this restaurant for eating all times of day!

Great local bar with cold drinks, tasty food, karaoke, and good prices. Everyone here has an easy going attitude and the dive atmosphere really jives with this. The staff here really look out for the patrons also, making sure my friend and I had a ride home one night.

Bartender was slow but finally got a drink at the bar.UPDATE 3-6-2020. Came into play a couple games of pool. Usually have an OK time here.Ordered some fries and they were cold. Asked to finish cooking them. Came back not much better. Band was OK, nothing special. Sorry Guys!

My boyfriend and I were in town from Minneapolis visiting a friend and decided we needed a night out so we ended up at this place. Drinks were cheap and strong, locals were warm and welcoming in that “wanna chug a beer with me” kind of way. Needless to say, we chugged beer, played pool, took cheap shots of tequila, Hunter and Neil sang a karaoke song sang for us, and we left with good memories. Thanks for having us!

All around great bar. Pool, live music, karaoke & video-poker. Steak dinner every Friday for $5! One tip-hungry waitress, none the less the other staff were attentivel, professional &friendly.

Great staff, atmosphere, & bands. Bands are mostly rock and classic rock bands. Large dance floor, pool tables, and seperate room with lottery gaming. The only negative about Westside is that there is only one stall in the womens bathroom. This can be very frustrating late in the evening after people have downed a few drinks and you have to wait in line to get in there. So, women, dont wait until your bladder is about to explode to go to the restroom.

Great bloody Mary and it definitely made my day a lot less Monday like. Food was great and fresh.

Dirty, Bathrooms smell like 70 years of urine and sadness. Carpets havent been replaced in 30 years or cleaned in the last 10. Staff was decent. I didnt eat there; no comment on the food.

Sometimes theyhave live music, karaoke and a pool table. The chicken strips and fries are pretty good if youre trying to get something to eat

Twice in a row the Prime Rib was way too thought cut or it. Had to give it to my dog. The sirloin on Fridays is way better. Don’t waste your money on the Prime Rib.

This is choice dive bar watering hole location. Have a drink, burn a death stick and sit at the bar with some regulars. I have no complaints about this place other than some lame (you know who you are) that always sits there and runs his mouth. Great location and friendly vibe from everyone.

Decent bar. Friendly environment. The regular customers are friendly and staff are easy to get along with as well. Its a lil older establishment so restrooms are older but still kept fairly clean.

Went in, Saturday night. Started playing pool, three employees walked by my fiancé and I multiple times and didnt get a drink order from us until about twenty minutes after arriving. When we finally get our drinks, the beer was fine, but the vodka cran was weak, asked for it to be made a double after mentioning that it was very week, was charged $12 for it? Still a weak drink! We have a combined restaurant/bar tending experience of 20 years, I know how a single or double should taste and that doubles generally have an up charge. After complaining, the server did nothing to rectify the situation.

Dive, the prime rib extremely over seasoned. Thats the good news because it was chewy like shoe leather. Had a band, sounded like garbage. To loud little venu.

I played here as part of a band. They have a decent sound system and now have a dedicated sound engineer which is helpful. The food is good too.

I love this place oh, I think its one of the only places that has live music in Salem anymore on a regular basis. They have food specials that are phenomenal and tastes good too.
