Josue Gonzalez! A highly talented up and coming hair stylist, who did an amazing job on my color retouch, cut, and style. He used his top of the line gadgets and hair products to perfect the work. I recommend this student for any of your hair needs. He offered great hair tips for in between appointments. Thank you for your attention to detail and professionalism. Outstanding work 👍! I came in for a back treatment. The lady at the front desk was really nice helped book the appointment. While waited I went to use the ladies restroom. They had no toilet covers in any of the stalls. When I was done I sat and waited. Got called by a gentleman. He was really sweet and very quiet. When we got to the room all the beds were divided by curtains. Which only gave a minimum sense of privacy as I could see people walking by through the curtains meaning they could me. The lighting was low relaxing until it began flickering like it was going out. The instructor was hands on and would check in for support. It was so nice. The treatment was wonderful very relaxing! Once done I went use the restroom again and had to use the mens that was awful.I would have given 5 stars if the building wasnt seemingly falling apart as I was being treated so well by students and staff.

Just want to simply say the front desk lady with the short hair is absolutely amazing! I have ptsd from past experiences with my previous cosmo school and I read the reviews from here and figured I should just try it. long story short Renee literally did her magic! I asked for a Sabrina carpenter cut (if you know you know) and she executed it perfectly! Both Renee and the front desk lady are the reasons I booked another service with Renee in 3 weeks and also why I’m going to look into going back to cosmo school to finish it up! The vibe in the salon is so warming and comforting you feel safe being there. The students are so sweet to eachother from what I’ve seen and it was just the best experience I’ve had from any salon EVER

I went in for a pedicure at the school. I have to say I was amazed at how professional and well rounded these students are. I want to make a shout out to two amazing students. Briana Deleon and Miranda Morerp. Their customer service was impeccable and very professionals. There wasn’t a dull moment quite entertaining. I appreciate their patience with me and my stories. Especially that gel polish removal. We got through it though. I highly recommend their services. I will definitely continue utilizing theist services here. The school offers affordable prices for all. I highly recommend this schools for their services.

This place is incredible! Everyone is extremely nice from the front desk to the The student and instructors. Every time I come has been amazing, have never had a problem! Everyone is so willing to be accommodating and make you feel as comfortable as they can. I have received two acrylic nail services, a pedicure, basic facial, and two different massage treatment and I have enjoyed all of them 110%. I would highly recommend coming!

Stopped in on my way home today ....decided randomly that i needed a haircut....i had the pleasure of meeting Jay and had an amazing experience. She was very polite and actually listened to me on how I wanted my haircut. She took her time and didnt rush through it ... A couple of weeks ago, I left a bad review for Milan because of an issue with my appointment. After talking to Dyana, I decided to give it another chance, and I’m so grateful that I did. I was welcomed by the wonderful receptionists, and got my hair done by Zenayda and Analyah with the help of Ms. Araceli. My hair came out absolutely gorgeous! I’m very glad that the issue was able to be resolved, and that I now have a place I can trust. Thank you Milan for making my experience great ❤️

Mr. C is an awesome instructor! He always made himself available to us for questions throughout the week, even when we were not in class. The only feedback/thought I have about Phase 1 with Milan is that it seems too short. Theres a lot of information packed into 5 weeks and I can see how some students could feel too rushed. However, I agree that hands on experience is the best form of learning in the manicurist program so, to an extent, I understand it. Thank you, Mr. C for being such an amazing and supportive instructor!

--i received a hair bleaching from an amazing lady named alyssa, from mr. Nunez class ,she was super knowledgeable in all things hair color and was super friendly and made me feel welcome. She recommended me a time to rebleach my hair and hair cut and ensured I was happy with the service. 10/10--I received the most amazing 60 min facial from Roseann. She was knowledgeable and informed me of everything we were doing since it was my first time, she was also very thorough and took her time to ensure her work was perfect. I fell asleep twice on the table if thats any indication of how amazing it was. To end off the service, she also recommended me some products that will help my skin be its best and stay clear. For me the service was so good. There was no need for her to have to ask for another appointment in the future because it will absolutely happen although she did recommend me a time indication of when to have another one. 5 stars /10s across the board

I went in for a haircut. Front office very courteous. Ms. Cortes assigned to do my haircut.She proceeded to cut my hair following instructor Nunez show & tell. She was very attentive. Ms Cortez did not get ahead but waited for Instructor Nunez to do my haircut in sections. Very impressed with Ms Cortes.

Ms. Maria in the front is very nice. She makes you feel welcomed.I received a massage from Mindy tonight. I was a little nervous at first because this was a first time for me. Mindy was excellent. She was very knowledgeable and made my experience a great one!

I needed some self love and self care and was searching for a place to take me immediately for a massage near my work of place and Milan Institute had openings available. I decided to book a 30 minute microdermabrasion facial during my lunch hour. It was amazing 👏The aesthetician student knew exactly what she was doing. After work I came back to get my massage and it was amazing as well. This is exactly what I needed. The ladies in the reception area were very helpful and friendly. Been a student since July and I have had a great experience so far. The staff really goes out of the way to show they care for you and I am really learning a lot it’s a great learning environment with professional, positive and caring instructors that have years of experience behind the chair and administrators. They have reward parties for friendly competition among students with treats such as non uniform days, money prizes and food. They had a special potluck for us at thanksgiving that we really enjoyed. They have job assistance as well countless career fairs in person and online and companies like great clips come by often to recruit and just help to teach foundational skills. I have so many great things to say about this school . If you’re looking to get into the beauty industry come tour Milan. I definitely am glad I chose to.

I went to get a wax and decided to get a massage too. Stasia was great. For me her touch was perfect and I really appreciated that she asked me if it was ok. Over all I was impressed with the experience in a school setting and will do it again. Maria at reception was super nice and helpful. My wax was good too but I forgot to get her name again.

Abigail was amazing and gave me the best mani pedi. So she would get 5 stars. The lady at front desk was also really super sweet and helpful. HOWEVER I had an appointment for a facial and lash extensions which I booked in front of the esthetician and said they would be back at 1 and could take my appointment and then NEVER showed back up. whileI realize that they are student and so you get what you pay for but the level of unprofessionalism was baffling. That has never happened at Ogle or Paul Mitchell schools. If you have an appointment here it literally does not matter.

Mr Cesar was such a great instructer, super patient and taught me super well. He was very cool ( and funny youll like him lol) and just very down to earth. In terms of his style of teaching he was also very good at that, he went by the book but also offered technical and practical skills that were easy to follow. Every ti me i asked for help he would show me exactly what I was doing wrong in a very kind manner and would show me the right way, Id get better instantly after a few tries. If you are gonna enter as a new student in the mani Evening classes and dont know anything , youll be more than okay with him he is very willing to help :)

First time at Milan institute. I was hesitant to go to a school to get my hair done, I came in to get my hair cut and blowout with Joey he is amazing! He made me feel like I was in a professional salon! The instructors Ms.Bridgette and Ms.Young were very sweet.

This location specifically has the best up and coming cosmetologist, nail techs, masseuses and estheticians. I went in for a facial yesterday and the esti student Ciana was beyond phenomenal. She really knew what she was doing and quite frankly... put me to sleep. 😅 GREAT JOB!! Will be back soon.

My masseuse was Mindy Alberto. She was amazing! I had the prenatal massage, and she was so kind and professional. She made sure that I was comfortable, and even gave me stretches to help with a knot in my shoulder. Definitely book with her!

So very disappointed in the changes the school has made. They have a new online system for booking appointments that is causing double booking or clients has schedule appointments but not enough students to serve the clients. Clients are being turned away or asked to come back.Then there has been a price changes and service changes. Instead of the change being explained by Ms Wendy one of the instructor tell the front desk to charge the new price that was on the desk price list but the system had a totally different price.No consistency!!

My experience here was AMAZING!! Daisy knew exactly what I was looking for and she went above and beyond. My hair came out better than I wanted. Ms. Araceli and Ms. Brigette were assisting as well and they were very helpful and made me comfortable!! Im always welcomed with a warm smile from Ms. Maria!! I love coming here and wouldnt want to go anywhere else!

Would not recommend the student salon. Had a full set of acrylic nails done there and a subsequent fill. It ended in me having professionals remove them due to several nails that had formed mildew and others that began to lift, crack, bleed and strip my nail bed. The techs that removed them were shocked at the state of my nails and the fact that they would even try and fill them after seeing that they had lifted instead of trying to apply a whole new nail. I would strongly recommend seeing how your nails perform before doling out any tips. It pained me to hear that the tech who did my previous fill, had graduated. Mistakes of this nature in the professional field could prove quite costly for not just the client but the tech also.I have pictures and receipts of my nails before vs when I started attending their student salon.

Absolutely impressed with this Institute! I was invited to take a tour with the Director of the Institute last week. As soon as I walked in, I was impressed with the layout. Then greeted in such a generous way. During the tour , I was able to visit all of the impressive classrooms along with the super friendly instructors. At last, I met with the Admissions staff and their fellow colleagues who had the upmost students services I have seen. I highly recommend Milian Institute to reach your dream in beauty to barber. Do not believe everything you read until you have experienced it yourself ♡

Mindy is the best masseuse in training. She has such a good rhythm to her massage. Perfect amount of pressure to her technique. She made me feel comfortable and gave easy to follow instructions to help her provide you with the best massage possible. I highly recommend her and I’ll definitely be back

This was my first time @ Milan on Ingram and from the ladies at the front desk to the students I was so impressed with their excellent customer service. Everyone was so professional and kind. Miranda M did my root touch up and she was so attentive and professional. Luv this place.

I wish I could rate this school 0 stars. If you are a student looking for a cosmetology education, you won’t find it here. The phase 2 instructors, Bridget and Young are only interested in gossiping about their students; not teaching them. The new evening instructor Tommy is the worst instructor I’ve had so far, she refuses to teach anything. Talks poorly about her students to other students. Is always rude to students and other instructors. Every client I had under her help has left unsatisfied with their service. Carrie and Dyana aren’t helpful at all either. They’re just as rude, which makes sense considering the three of them are best of friends. Don’t spend your money here. It is the worst school. The only instructor I’ve learned anything from that has treated me with kindness is Araceli. I truly cannot recommend this school any less to anybody.

Yesterday I had my hair cut by Alisyn Thomas and I wanted to commend her for cutting my hair and styling it. She really listened to my concern about the cut I wanted and she made sure to meet my needs. She was very sweet and well mannered and I was so pleased with the cut. I absolutely loved the full highlights that Yesenia did, and the instructor was great. Ms. Araceli really knew what I was looking for.

I went in to get my hair a different color and was extremely disappointed in my service. My hair is black and I wanted a small change without bleach so that older black teacher at night helped the student and messed up my hair. The student had lightened my hair just fine and the teacher was adamant on using a toner “because it would only take five minutes and make my hair lighter”. That was not what happened. It made my hair darker. It looked the same as when I sat in the chair. The student told her not to use the toner because it would darken my hair and she told her “I’m the professional here, I know how toner works. Put it on her.” The student was very weary and clearly upset at the teacher, but was forced to listen to her teacher. I feel upset that I had to pay for a service she messed up.

Anna was amazing putting in my extensions and her instructor Bridget was so helpful. They were funny and kind. We had a blast! I will recommend them to all my friends and family. And I will be back next month!!

When it comes to my education, I would like to thank Miss Bridgette and Miss Young for being there every step of the way go above and beyond and teach more then required if I have multiple questions they don’t give no problems on answering them. I go to milan and i graduate in may. Ms young and Ms brigette are the best teachers… They make the learning fun, they help out a lot and they answer all your questions. They explain things very clearly and they make sure you understand. if you don’t understand they will keep helping you until you do. the school in general is really good.. the first part of the program you do school work on the computer and just know the basics then phase 2 you actually take clients and understand why you are doing what your doing. and the instructors are they to help you every step of the way. highly recommend Milan Institute. very good school

I go to this school in the manicurist class, my instructor is Mr.Ceaser he has absolutely blew my expectations out of the park. He has been an exceptional instructor to me and my class mates. He is very passionate about giving us the education we deserve. He has taught me so many things and I will forever be grateful. If you are debating on coming here stop debating, SIGN UP! Trust me it’s worth it.

I’m currently a student at Milan my schedule is Wed-Fri with Ms. Randall and Mr. Nunez. They are easily the best teachers/ instructors I’ve ever had. I’m a slow learner and they take their time to make sure I fully understand each assignment. I remember in phase one I got really frustrated with something and communicated with Ms. Randall that I needed some extra help with a certain hair style. She graciously went the extra mile to make sure I did everything correctly so that there wouldn’t be risk of me doing it incorrectly and hurting myself further down the line. Both instructors take pride in all their students and are absolutely brilliant in their teaching. If you choose to come to school here I highly recommend this class!

Great place with wonderful students! I go for haircuts and styling. The price for the service cant be beat. The stylists are students, but there is always someone to oversee their work.

Facial was very nice and relaxing, the students technique was very good. However, the instructor came in and out of the room multiple times whispering basic instructions to the student during the treatment. This is a student facility, but her not discussing the treatment plan beforehand made for a distracting service and gave the appearance of being unprofessional or very inexperienced.

The students here definitely know what they’re doing. I’ve adopted Debbie as my new lash tech. She does a GREAT job every time and is very considerate of your needs and wants! Also, Marisol at the front is always such a sweetheart! She always makes your entrance welcoming!

If I could I’d give a 10 minus to this school! I attended the manicurist program and the education I was promised I did not receive! I did speak the director and nothing was ever done! One instructor overwhelmed and over worked with all the students alone is impossible and awful to do to someone! Had I known I would have Received an education of learning nothing I would not have spent my money to attend this school. I’mSorry to say this people but do your homework and view other schools and speak to people that actually attend because admissions isn’t going to tell you the truth. Milan institute, it’s crazy about how I never thought I would be here. I myself as a person have always been closed but when I signed up for a manicurist I never thought I’d meet the most amazing teacher. Mr. Ceaser is such an amazing instructor he takes his work seriously and although he’s only a phase 1 teacher he has so much potential that he showed me, he encouraged me to follow this career and how it can open many doors in my life. Wishing Mr. Ceaser was a phase 2 teacher he has a lot to bring to school so if you want to be a manicurist I encourage you to do it, I debated so much but have the support of my educators and all Milan who really make sure you succeed. First off, I have to say I was skeptical at first. But they are so informative and professional. Starting as a student, it has been so educational. I have learned so much and never felt better and more confident, especially because of my wonderful teacher Shanelle. She’s just so thorough and is way hilarious making the teaching experience less dull lol I really enjoy it and she’s been great! I definitely recommend being here. Phase 1 was hard, but with the positive feed back from her, is what kept me going! Thank you ☺️ for the best/hard but awesome learning experience!! Couldn’t have done it without you. ❤️

I love going there. Been going there for years because prices are good, students get to practice, and instructors are there to supervise. I love getting my hair colored there, cut, and style. Students do a great job listening to style I want or color I want. I feel marvelous when I get out of that place!!! Thank you instructors for doing such a fantastic job with your students. And thank you receptionist especially Erica for always making me feel so special, and for doing your best to accommodate me, and for taking the time to find a student who can do the service at that day and time.

Nevaeh Trujillo was my manicurist and she did an absolute fabulous job on my nails. It looks so professionally done. Today I received a Microdermabrasion facial from Dayanara. From the moment I walked in the staff that greeted me were wonderful. Dayanara made sure to make me feel at ease and explained every step she was doing. She was supervised by her instructor Mrs. Randall of the advance cosmetology students. Mrs. Randall made sure to speak to me after to make sure that I enjoyed the experience and get any feedback that could help her student to succeed. That showed me her dedication to these students. I will make sure to be making another appointment to have another session scheduled soon.

This is a great place to go.The instructors continue to check on you. Dont judge the place by the cheap owners. Id imagine they lose future students by the inside. Everything is run down or broken.Shame on you. It wouldnt take much for a face lift. The massage part looks great. You would double your students and customers if you would improve things. The massage part and face and skin is great also. The prices of all of it and specials will keep you coming back. This month is $4 hair cuts thats unbelievable. They have get manicure get a pedicure free. It might be the other way around but what salon any where can you get a $4 haircut on special or get anything free. The massages and skin department always have specials too.

It was my first time coming. The young lady Dasia was amazing with my 4C natural hair. For she had the same hair type as me. She knew exactly how to manage my hair and give me style tips. As a daycare Owner this is definitely a good place to stop for those midweek touch ups. Especially since it’s in walking distance of my center. Definitely want to make this a weekly stop.I appreciate my cousin Carrie for the suggestion. 💕💕

I cannot put into words how greatful i am to have found milan, coming here as a student was one of the best decisions i have ever made.i came here after attending an awful cosmetology school that made me doubt attending school at all and losing a parent and dealing with that grief while still attending school. i lost my father in oct. 2021 to covid when i was 18 while attending my previous school and on top of the grief, i had instructors who couldn’t understand what i was going through and prioritized making money from clients above all. on days he was sick in the hospital, i would be ridiculed and looked down on for leaving early to visit him. i was made to feel that seeing my sick father shouldn’t be made a priority because i had clients to work on for the day. i decided to start looking into new schools because i didn’t want to believe all schools were like this one, so i made the decision to come to milan and give cosmetology school a second try. i still had my doubts coming to a new school and starting over, going from 600 hours back down to zero, but after talking to bianca in admissions i decided to give it a chance. she made me feel comfortable and made the admission process so smooth and extremely simple. (considering my situation) her positive attitude and bubbly personality is what drew me to even coming to check the school out, and i will forever be greatful for her :,).my very first day i got the pleasure of meeting my phase 1 instructor miss carrie, who was absolutely pleasant to work with from the start. my entire sense of anxiety and worry left once i walked into her classroom, it became a second home for me. i was able to tell miss carrie what had happened at my previous school and she showed me compassion and taught me that not every school is the same. i truly shifted my entire opinion on going to cosmetology school, as the days passed in phase 1, i started loving doing hair again. the passion i had lost going to my first school came back after attending miss carrie’s class. she taught me so much in the little time i spent as her student and catered to every single learning type and not once did she make her students feel bad for learning different than others. she had so much patience and a TON of knowledge to share with her students, i will forever miss coming to this class. thank you miss carrie for restoring my love for doing hair.once i phased out and entered phase 2, my worries came back but that all went away when i met ms. young. her positive attitude and fun personality made the salon floor a DREAM to be apart of. it was always something new every day and different learning activities that again, catered to every single learning type. she understood her students and genuinely cared for each and every one of us. once miss bridgette joined the team, it made for a perfect duo. miss bridgette was like miss carrie version 2 and taught EXACTLY like her. so with miss young’s bright personality and miss bridgette’s patience and knowledge, it made for the best pair of instructors i could’ve ever asked for. i learned a lot and felt cared for, especially when i had off days when i’d miss my father and when i had to leave early. their understanding and compassion made my love for coming to school much stronger. i couldn’t thank you guys enough for all that you did for me, y’all were a blessing in disguise.it is because of this school that i now get to call myself a licensed cosmetologist and will forever be greatful and miss my instructors dearly. thank you for the compassion and encouragement you’ve given me and i hope every student there knows how lucky they are to have instructors like you. thank you for being there on my off days when i’d leave home crying and still grieving the loss of my dad and for being there on my best days when i’d take 3 clients in one day. i owe my career to this school, i’m proud to call myself a milan alumni. :)

I was a student at Milan ingram location back in November of 2022 and I as definitely excited to embark in a new career field of massage therapy but there was a few bumps in the road along the way which caused me to take some time off about 6 months to be exact but now that I have reenrolled at the same location I see a major difference in the way things are being conducted and organized. With the help of Special SRC admin named Georgina Briseno who has went above and beyond to ensure my return has been smooth and welcoming I would recommend anyone who is looking to start school in Massage therapy or any other programs they offer at this location to start soon because it has been a great fresh start for me and im sure you would love it as well. The staff here is very knowledgeable and has a open door policy so you will never feel left behind or in the dark. From the instructors like Miss Victoria aka Vicki to the Campus director Mrs. Dyana Chahda are all easy going and have a welcoming spirit.

I have been coming to this location through out the years. Today was just the best set of students I have ever experienced. Including their Instructor. She was so kind, professional and polite. I had never had a facial before and I came to the Milan Institute on Ingram. Veronica Gonzalez, the esthetician evening student and her instructor Ms. Miranda were absolutely wonderful. They made me feel comfortable and confident in their practices and teaching. I would definitely go there again for more services.

Hailey is an AMAZING esthetician! She always makes me feel so comfortable and relaxed and she takes her time and gives me great recommendations. You can tell she’s really passionate about what she does and very knowledgeable. I see such an awesome difference from when i first started going to her in my skin, and everything I wanted to work on she listened to and my skin has made so much progress in those areas and more. I have been coming to Milan over 15 years. My mom was a beautician and recommended Milan to me years ago. She has gone to other schools in SA but prefers Milan, you are in good hands. The instructors repeatedly check in during your services and nearby at all times . My favorite instructor is Mr Nuneuz! As long as he is there I am confident that whatever student I have will be a great outcome. Yesterday, Kausar colored my hair and I had so many shades of brown in my hair but she matched my base color perfectly. I am so happy with the end result. My hair looks amazing like a clean slate. Its been long I am getting done my hair color chemicals but for a long while I was doing it by myself because my last experience was horrible. I took a risk again got my color done from vale reputed saloon but its even worst . This time after a couple of years later I got my hair color done from Milan Institute AR Ingram by a student Annanayali in Mr. Nuneos Class she did wonderful job. I am surprised the saloons dont do that professionally but here a student did it under supervision of instructor. I am glad 😊 to get my hair done I got my expected result and I am very satisfied with the consultation specially the instructor and student do. They listen what you want and they guide ifit suites you or not it works for you or not. I am impressed. I will continue my services here co you can get whatever you are expecting from a highly reputable salon but in a very cheap price. Wonderful Job.

I just finished school for cosmetology, teachers are great and understanding, Mrs. Katrina was amazing very patient with me, i had a baby mid way threw and took couple of leaves but staff was very patient and understanding. I loved my experience at Milan Institute with Ariana and Miss Young as instructor. Ariana was excellent and very professional. She did an excellent color retouch and hair blow out. I loved the results and will definitely be coming back and requesting Ariana again.. I cant wait for my family to see the results.

I would giving a 0 star , as it force me to give it a one star. Me and my mom had a horrible experience from being there for the first time. The instructor is horrible with rude and bad attitude. Who isn’t experienced with doing hair. He barely reached his students all he dose is walk around and don’t care about clients and his students. He excused me for over bleaching my hair which I didn’t even over bleached my hair and my hair is very healthy and in a good condition. He didn’t even cut my hair evenly either. I learn more from YouTube then horrible so called beauty school. Even the professional hairstylist on YouTube is way more professional and I learn more from them and how to do my own hair then this horrible place. My advice is if you want to get your hair done correctly and nearly and nicely. I advice to learn from YouTube or go to a good professional beauty school who knows how to do all type of hair and knows about hair or even a good professional hair salon. I won’t ever go back to Malian as I didn’t feel wanted. Bad bad BAD service.

So disappointing you schedule a massage 2 wks ago call the day of to confirm and your told your being cancelled because the student has appointment with the instructor at that time but gets see her other appointments that are scheduled later that afternoon not right at all. Instructors should schedule appointment before student is to see a client. I was really looking forward to my appointment really needed it.
