If ONLY I could’ve given a -1 review for this operation I definitely would have. If it crosses your mind even slightly to join, I would hold off and reconsider! Should you ever change your mind or decide to cancel because the massage itself was less than desirable, or worse, has caused long-term pain, You will be given the runaround for days!!!!FYI- when you call to make an appointment, it’s not even the location you called. It’s a CALL CENTER. I would never recommend this place. I’ll be returning to massage Heights

Close by our home. We did couples massage and the staff was friendly and the massage was best Id had in a long while. My therapist applied the perfect pressure to all my body parts.

I had a membership under the terms that it would be for 6 months. Any time I would try to make an appt it was never convenient so I don’t know really what the membership had any good use for. Fast forward to a year later my card was still being charged monthly and when my card was deactivated they said my credits accumulated all those months wouldn’t be available for use. I’ve tried calling multiple times only for a staff member to tell me the manager or GM would call me back which still has not happened. They had no problem charging my card every month but as soon as my card was deactivated they sent a text message. I’m paying for a service and not receiving the services? Sounds like theft to me.

DONT GET A MEMBERSHIP TO THIS PLACE! YOULL REGRET IT!!! Ive paid for 12 months with limited options to actually use my credits. They are booked out almost two months. Not once have I called to find any availability. When I finally did book in advance I called with covid and they charged me a credit but refused to let me reschedule or come in for the massage. I finally cancel paying 12 months and they tell me I have to use my credits in 60 days but cant transfer to another location for a couples massage and OF COURSE trying to book a couples massage over 3 weeks prior has ZERO availability. THIS WAS THE WORST INVESTMENT IVE EVER MADE. DO NOT GET ROPED INTO THIS MEMBERSHIP!!!!! IM SO GLAD TO NO LONGER GIVE THIS BUSINESS MY MONEY. ILL GLADLY PAY $150/MASSAGE AT WOODHOUSE WITH QUALITY CUSTOMER SERVICE THAN TO PAY LESS AND DEAL WITH THIS SCAM COMPANY.

If I could give 0 stars, I would! Did not massage the pained places, and was very hasty. Did not like it. Felt like my time was wasted after anticipating for weeks.

It’s unfortunate reading these reviews and hoping it’s just a fluke, but lo and behold, one day before my massage, the message to reschedule. Was really looking forward to this. Very unprofessional. Two stars cause the two ladies up front were very sweet.

I have been a member of massage envy since around 2007. Bandera Oaks Massage Envy continues calling me all of the time to reschedule my massages that Ive had booked for a long time. I book my appointments far in advance so that I can get the day and the massage therapist that I would like. Im not very happy when they keep calling asking me to reschedule with someone else. I am a member and my prices keep going up and I dont see any benefit whatsoever to being a member. I am really disappointed!

I love going here! I pay for a massage envy membership and honestly it’s so worth it to help with my work aches and pains. And I love being able to transfer my credits to my friends and family. LOVE

I can never get in for a massage but yet can’t cancel because I will loose my built up massages and their hold fee is ridiculous of $20 a month. I opt’d to pay the $20 and the jerks still charged my normal $60 fee for September. I highly recommend going to another company the membership is a joke you can never get an appt even 7 days out. So upset calling better business bureau!

The entire staff is super sweet. I work in a super stressful job and go to school, and I only DREAM of the customer service that this place provides. The staff is always smiling, know me by name, and always have a genuine conversation. It goes beyond, oh hey how was your weekend..Also! The massages there are top notch! Ive had massages at fancy resorts that are in the $300 range. Nope. Not even close. I go to Ashley ever since my first trip. Shes amazing! Not once have i walked out of there thinking, man that wasnt worth it.. Instead its, man, I shouldve scheduled a longer sessionGreat location! Great staff! Great experience.

I have been a member of Massage Envy for years. I have had some less-than-perfect massages here, but the vast majority of them have been excellent. The booking process is efficient and the staff has been helpful. The massage therapists, for the most part, have been very good. Everybody has been professional, just some have a better technique than others. Do yourself a favor and become a member....your body will thank you! :)

My massage therapist was great but it’s hard getting an appointment here. They have increased the rates for their membership. I put in a cancellation request about a month ago and have not received a callback. When I call no one answers the phone. Very disappointed!

I had a one year membership with this company I wanted to cancel my membership and was told I had to submit a 30 day notice. I was compliant and actually submitted it one day earlier. At my last scheduled appointment I was told I still had a half a credit. I scheduled another appointment and received a call today saying I had to pay a nonmember fee. Technically I still have another month to make it a full year. I will not support this business ever again! Getting into a membership the staff are so sweet getting out of it even when you do everything the right way they treat you like dirt as if you were never a customer at all. Very disappointing... what ever happened to customer service it’s not here at this particular building!!! Stay clear.

If I could give some staff members 5 stars individually, I would!However, Massage Envy as a corporate and how they manage their members is outrageous. I understand that COVID caused a lot of ripples in the workforce. And right now its hard to hire people and keep people. People just dont want to work anymore. 😒But even throughout COVID, Ive maintained my membership and have always been a loyal customer. I even drive from Boerne! But lately it seems like every time I try to make an appointment...they have nothing available. Like nothing in the short or long future that would accommodate around my work and schedule. Ive even called other locations and still get the same issue.Ive been playing this game with massage envy for at least 2 years and nothing has changed. Ive brought it up to the 1604/Bandera staff when I do happen to get a rare appointment, but they shrug it off.At this point Ive accrued probably 15 + credits towards a massage but cant even use them! What am I paying all this money towards a membership for? Why is it not just one but all locations having difficulty with open spots etc. Am I the only one having this issue? Why hasnt Massage Envy made things right? I vocalize my frustration every time I call and try to set up an appointment.In all honest, Im just going to cancel my membership and consider going elsewhere. Im wasting my money here.

Front staff make check in and check out quick and efficient. They are always knowledgeable and friendly which only add to the relaxing environment. My massage therapist David has been fantastic as well, he is able to read when Im in a talkative mood and when Im not and I always leave feeling less tense. Its quickly becoming an essential part to my monthly self-care habits.

I’ve booked with multiple massage therapists over the course of my membership and Jose C. was hands down the best experience i’ve had. definitely will be booking w him from now on. I also just booked my first Facial ever w Savannah, she was amazing!!! super sweet, very informative highly recommend!

The front desk is so nice and I never leave without feeling 1000% better! My regular masseuse is Ruth and she does an outstanding job. She is so friendly and does an amazing job. If you go ask for Ruth or Jackie! They also have prenatal massages available which really helped me through my pregnancy!

Scheduled appts for my niece and myself. Hers was great but I went in for a full body massage and yes I have issues with my back and hip those were the only areas he focused on. Did not get a full body massage. And he talked the whole time was never allowed to really relax. Not a good experience for my birthday 😢

I love this place. Every time I go to get a massage, they greet me at the counter and immediately check me in. Im then offered something to drink. Then, they take me to the tranquility room to wait for my therapist. The therapist comes and gets me at my appointed time and takes me to the massage room where he/she discusses my issues for the massage. Im then left alone to undress and get into the massage table, under a sheet and light blanket. The table can be heated at my request. I get an awesome relaxing massage or deep tissue massage at my request. During the massage I can request different areas or pressures. Or I can just lay and enjoy the ride quietly. They soft music is relaxing. I love my massages at Massage Eve! I have been under contract with them for 4 years now. At 49.00 per month, its something I enjoy every month. Try it, you will like it. I request Ted. Hes the best for me.

Very unprofessional for continuously canceling services on their own members. I have personally been cancelled on at least 5 times now in the last several months. I definitely would recommend going to another Massage Envy location, for their staff is highly unreliable.

First time here and pretty disappointed. I had an appt at 2pm for an hour long massage, didn’t get massage started until 215 and then it ended at 254. The therapist definitely gave the vibe that he didn’t want to be there and the whole experience just felt very rushed. The front desk staff was kind, she did apologize when I told her how I felt, but I still got charged for the full hour. Won’t be going back, sadly. I hate complaining, but I would hate for another first timer to go through this kind of service.

Highly recommend. Staff was patient answering all my questions making sure I understood everything before I made my appointment. Day of I showed up and they were very friendly. I went over my problem areas with them to come up with a plan of action. After months of dealing with a sharp pain in my shoulder its finally gone. My 2nd visit is already scheduled.

The front desk team is very professional and attentive. I was paired up with Jeanett based on my needs and Im incredibly happy. My expectations were exceeded. Thank you so much for listening to me and treating my needs, Ill be back in 2 weeks.

Ive been a member before, and I dont think you get enough value for the price. Some therapists are really good, its a safe place for a massage which is good. However the sheets are kind of scratchy, and the lotion and essential oil options could be better for the price you are paying.

I just finished with Monica and I am not at all satisfied with what I paid for. She jerked my limbs around when placing/removing the leg lift and while placing the blankets. It was not graceful or calming at all. I told her I would let her know when the pressure was too much. I told her twice and both times she said okay and kept doing the same exact thing. I hurt more now than when I went in. I have noticed that I hold a membership for a 1 hour massage but have been twice and neither times have been over 50 minutes long. The clock in room 1 is 5 or 6 minutes fast. I was in the room at 7pm (all times listed were off my phone and not the room clock) and she was working by 7:03. She was out of the room and I was off the bed at 7:51. Call me crazy but that doesnt add up to an hour even if she started at 7. I was also scratched by her nails multiple times during my unpleasant massage. I believe she was chewing gum. I could smell spearmint and hear a slight smacking sound that was not her pumping more lotion or a sound made by the massage. I would have gone to the girl I had the first time but she doesnt work the later times that I need to go. I specifically picked 7pm instead of a 9pm they had open so I wouldnt be the last person and the masseuse be pissed. Obviously 7pm is too late for them to be in a good mood still...

Never answer the phone even though they open at 9. Consistently give you the run around when trying to cancel your membership. Once you give them that card number customer service goes out the window. No wonder any decent therapist leaves so quickly. DONT GET TRAPPED HERE

Always excellent service! I had tried the Alamo Ranch location as it closer to my house, but experienced a 30 min wait PAST my set appt time on 2 occassaions.Bandera oaks location is terrific.Stretch & massage.Fantastic therapists, Monica & Ruth.

I was tricked into their year long agreement. I wasnt told anything about a year long contract like agreement. I called to cancel and she still charged my card twice. Like Im going to get a relaxing massage their after trying to cancel and being forced into keeping something I dont want. Ridiculous. Im fighting charges.

Over priced. Im my opinion $39 -49.00 1 hour massage is acceptable. Anything beyond is based on quality of massage in TIPS . DONT BLAME COVID FOR PRICE INCREASE

We had a couples massage with Jose and Veronica, they both were so attentive to our needs and did exactly what we wanted. I would definitely recommend Veronica and Jose to family and friends who are looking for a deep tissue massage, they are AWESOME!

I have been a member for about 2 years, and I had Robert for the first time today. FREAKIN AMAZING! Ive dealt with pain in my shoulders for a long time, and he knocked it out in one hour. I cannot wait to go back! Oh, and always great customer service.

Veronica was PERFECT/AMAZING! She definitely knew what she was doing, and gave me the best massage that I have ever had. I highly recommend Massage Envy, and I definitely reccomend Veronica.

Terrible service and would not recommend it. Left the office 1 hour prior to only be held in traffic. The receptionist stated that I will be billed $35 or I can get there as soon as I can and pay the $70 to only get the remainder of the therapy. What sense does that make? Avoid! Making a dispute with the BBB.

This massage did not make me feel better.Also Ive been getting harrassed because someone thought I skipped out on a deployment.They used something they called the 3 stones.Please let me know what the 3 stones areThank YouPaul Murray

Ive been a member for over one year, I get routine facials and neck massages, staff is always nice and professional, Jakki my facialist is awesome!!!

Polite, clean, and calming. I go every month. I love my message therapist but the availability can be limited at times.

Front desk was responsive and helpful. Massage by Justin was fabulous. Ill be back! M.E. is redeemed in my book.

Continuous cancellations of appointments for paying members. Management has gotten worse over the years about holding employees accountable at this location

Very disappointed that this Massage Envy doesnt massage feet any longer. That was one of main purposes I went and left very disappointed. I wish they would have - at least - communicated that to me.

This location always houses exceptional service. Rob was great and manage to give me recommendations and was awesome within the allotted time.

Tension in lower back. Had the rapid tension treatment. If it fitss your budget they have an excellent membership.
