I got the signature blowout and Ethan did a fantastic job on my hair! I loved both the original style and the touch up he did. Would 10/10 recommend!

Samuel Rodriguez gives the best blow outs ever! I have curly hair and when visiting SF I know the humidity will make me look frazzled and frizzy, but I met Samuel at 8:30am and I walked out of the salon a different women. He’s friendly, knowledgeable with my hair type and gives a great scalp massage. Bonus points he works early so I look polished all day. Thank you Samuel, I’ll be back.

Wouldn’t recommend. I asked for something simple and even had photos of myself with a blowout to show what I wanted. The stylist wasn’t helpful or accommodating at all and questioned everything I said/asked for. She had the same attitude with her next client too. I could have done a better job on my hair myself and had to redo it when I got home. Also I didn’t touch it or mess with it at all on the way home as advised, but it all fell out immediately. Luckily I had time before my nye event to fix it. Stylist was truly unfriendly and seemed like she didn’t want to be there. Wasted $140 and my time.

Had a dry thermal styling, was happy that there was an option downtown given dry bar closed, but I could have done a better job honestly it is disappointing. I gave a 3 star bc I’m nice.

I dislike leaving poor reviews. But everyone around me at my best friend’s wedding said, “you paid $100 for your hair style?! What even did they do? It looks like nothing stayed together.”When I look back, I was really disappointed with the services that I received - I was already stressed out because I was in the middle of editing my speech, so I really did not want to stress about my hair.Truthfully, I felt like I was taken advantage of. I’m the type of person who doesn’t want to micromanage a stylist, and wants to trust their judgment and ability. However, I explicitly told the stylist she would have to leave my hair pinned in curls as my hair texture has a hard time holding curls, yet she seemed reluctant to do even that. And she did not. As a consequence, my hair fell apart within an hour.Instead of listening to her clients and ensuring that they would be happy with the style and without any reassurance that it would last throughout the event, it seemed like she was focused on taking pictures of what she believes to look great. Which weren’t even the Hollywood waves, which I requested specifically a week in advance.I would have happily paid $150-200 to another stylist to do the job, especially if they would listen to the client and incorporate feedback in order to provide an excellent service.I would appreciate if you would reach out to me in terms of how to rectify this because after all pictures are forever and my hair didn’t even last the night.

I had a fantastic blowout with Ethan Yeetheng - I had a picture of what I wanted but he made it look even better, making recommendations for how the style would hold better. I also loved the option to get a complementary touch up after a few days. Ethan made everything so easy and he was also just a truly wonderful person! I will be definitely be back to see him next time.

It was my first day at a new job and I wanted to make a great impression with a blow out. Found blowology on google and was super easy to make an appointment. I believe the owner did my hair and she was absolutely lovely - space was beautiful. I also got a hand massage that was so relaxing. First day was a success and felt beautiful for the next 3 days - that’s how long the blow out lasted! Def will be back

Loved it here!!! Super cute small spot tucked away on the 10th floor of a building right in the center of Union Square. You even have to get buzzed in. The view is amazing and the vibe is so elegant and vintage. I got my hair and makeup done at the same time and I felt like a celebrity haha

I had a wonderful experience with Ethan this week at Blowology! He was so professional, accommodating, and went above and beyond to make sure that my hair looked perfect. My blowout was great and I enjoyed every minute I spent in Ethan’s chair. Can’t wait to come back next I’m in SF!

I had a keratin treatment done here and had a great experience! I have extremely thick and coarse hair that is pretty difficult to deal with. My hair takes a long time which makes it hard on the stylist. However, at blowology, they didn’t make me feel like a burden just because my hair was difficult to deal with. They did a great job and were very kind and accommodating throughout the three hour service. I definitely plan on coming back. My hair has never been so soft and shiny!! I would recommend here to anyone no matter their hair type!!

I was in SF for a work conference and happened upon this amazing place. Gorgeous interior with a jazzy, speakeasy kind of vibe.My hair stylist was Alison and she did an amazing job with my dry mess of hair. Within an hour and a half (and a mimosa later), I was feeling like a rockstar and looking like one too.If I was in SF, I would definitely keep seeing Alison for my hair. Will see you guys next year for my annual pilgrimage!(I wish I had an after shot but here is a before and middle one.)

I had full make up done by Stephanie who did an incredible job! She was so easy and nice to chat with. After showing her some inspiration pictures she gave me exactly the look I was going for. She was great at aligning eye and lip color with my complexion. Suzie did my hair and same story! My hair style was exactly what I wanted. She had offered to add some decorative hair pins which was a really thoughtful touch. I had brought some of my own that she put in for me. I left Blowology very happy and feeling beautiful! The space just has a comfortable and inviting vibe too. Very pleased with my decision to come here!

Blowology Blowout Fabulous! Found my new favorite salon in San Francisco! Owned by Latina entrepreneur Suzie Dominguez, stylist Aleen gave me the slickest BlowDry before my @HACR speaking engagement on Wednesday & I returned today for color & touch up! Love the place! Elegant—salon on the 10th floor on Geary St. What makes them unique…you have the option to come back within 3 days for a touch up! And, ladies, she’s opening a franchise in Dallas!

The staff is super welcoming, its a small salon upstairs. Hospitable with drinks. Only down fall is that I came here looking for a blow out with a curly specialist and that is not what I ended up receiving. The stylist was super kind and willing to learn more techniques but I suggest they offer the staff a education class day for handling kinky curly hair. I felt like I had a LOT of hair pulled out, the stylist didnt know how to detangle my hair and made me feel like my hair was coarse and unruly. Which its not. Dont blowdry with a denman brush please..I nearly wanted to stop the service at the look of chunks of hair left in it. Need to understand that when you have a curly client, detangle their hair at the shampoo bowl with conditioner. Once you rinse them out and bring them to your chair, you will end up saving yourself hours. What I felt couldve been an 2 hr max appointment ended up being near 4. Not fun being out on vacation and taking a chunk of the time with hair being pulled out. 🙃 Knowledge is power and I know if they have an instructor visit them, they will be stronger with ethnic clients.

This is a beautiful blow dry bar located in the best shopping street I’ve experienced in San Francisco! The staff was warm and friendly, the space incredibly chic, and my hair looks great! I can’t wait to come back and try the sauna and massage options.

Walked in here with no appointment and was treated like royalty. Got the dry heat styling option, which lasted the whole time I was in town for work. Thats me in the rust colored top on the right. would visit again!

I enjoyed the blow out service. Heather was very friendly and did a wonderful job. I explained I was having issues with the humidity in SF so she used products to try and combat that. Unfortunately my blowout and curls still did not last but a couple of hours. However, I was able to maintain a style with minimal frizz, most likely due to the product she used to help with humidity. Im not sure that anything could have kept my hair from falling out since it is simply not used to the weather in SF.

Was in San Francisco for the weekend and wanted to look my best. Went to Blowology and got a GREAT Blowout AND a lovely hand massage for a reasonable price. Left feeling pretty and relaxed. Try it! You’ll like it!

Absolutely loved it, especially when with a free touch up Ethan did such an amazing job turning my straight hair into pretty curls.

Above and beyond. They were able to accommodate me with travel disruptions. Got a perfect blowout from Aleen. The whole experience turned a stressful day into a relaxing one. Left feeling like a million bucks. Didn’t get all the staff’s names but everyone was lovely. I can’t wait to go back!!

Made an appointment for makeup application 3 days in advance but they canceled the appointment and did not inform me. This was unfortunately very poor customer service . I wish they had informed me earlier as I had to Uber 35 min to attend the appointment. I would recommend other Salons in the area instead as they are not dependable and put me in a hard spot before my event.

Ethan provided a really nice hair blowout experience with his explanation of technique throughout, focus on quality, attention to detail, and super friendly personality.

Went here for a blowout. That part was OK. The cost was $80 including a $15 tip. Fast forward almost a month later, I notice an additional $15 UNAUTHORIZED CHARGE from Blowology, so I call them. I’m told there was a problem with their bank and the tip wasn’t charged. I argued that it was absolutely already charged. I was asked to send a photo of my credit card statement showing that I was in fact double charged. I was subsequently promised a refund that NEVER came. The person I was dealing with was also not apologetic at all. I ultimately had to dispute the charge through my credit card. I do NOT recommend this place based on this experience and will never give them business again. It’s absolutely bad business and fraudulent to charge someone’s credit card without their consent.

Suzie worked me into her schedule last minute and was so sweet and kind. Her blowdry was excellent. I am one happy out of towner. Her unit is on the second floor of a very grand building on Market Street. You may need to buzz to get in on weekends. You will be very pleased you did. I would highly recommend this blowdry salon.

I had a great blowout today with Ethan. I also love that they offer the touch up service three days later.

Charged full price because my flight was delayed and I had to cancelled I understand a cancellation fee but to charge me the full $105 for service never rendered is ridiculous. Totally unprofessional.

Great little spot for blowouts, color, and updos. I was with Heather for my updo and it came out so nice that I booked with her the next morning for a blowout. Charming lady and clearly talented. Im coming back to her whenever Im in town.

Great experience here with Lulu. They fit me in at (literally) the last minute, which was awesome. The staff is absolutely lovely and Lulu had me ready for an important occasion in about 45 minutes.

Found it a little expensive for a blow dry but oh my the effort Samuel put in to my wavy frizzy hair made it all worth it.
