I had an amazing experience at Mac’s. My boyfriend and I called ahead at 6:15pm and asked if we could be taken before they close at 7:30pm. Not only did they say yes, they were READY for us when we arrived. We were offered green tea, water, juice, etc. and made my boyfriend comfortable (his first time getting a pedicure). The kind women who did our pedicures were amazing, they paid attention to detail and were VERY nice. They prefer cash for gratuity and conveniently have an ATM inside the shop. I will literally never go anywhere else, the service and kindness is top-tier and I always leave happy! The woman doing my pedicure even asked if it was okay that one nail was shorter than the rest due to a break! The hot stone massage was also a super nice addition to the whole experience. This place is extremely expensive for the bare minimum work. I went here with my friend hoping to get almond plain French tips and when I went there they put the longest square nails and send shaping them to almond would be 20$ and French tip would be 40$. So we decided to get plain white because color was also expensive and I asked to get them shortened at least sense I didn’t even want them and the lady was very rude and barely shortened them. Although they did have really good glue so when I tried to take them off at home they ripped my natural nail off. The final amount for me and my friend ended up almost being 300$ for barely nothing

This place advertised $30 for a standard gel manicure with no acrylic. They charged my brother and I $100 to get our nails simply painted. The lady intentionally overcharged me because I had a gift certificate. Im willing to change this review if they will make it right. The lighting is also really harsh in there and they kept the door open during a rainstorm so it was very cold, and the bathroom is scary.

I just got a gel manicure with nail art here and it was so good! Vivian did my nails and did such a great job. I’ve never done nail art before but wanted to try something festive for the holidays. I came in with a few pictures and she was able to improve on the design and make it look really good. Also got a good pedicure. Definitely recommend this place! Also very reasonably priced and really nice staff

It was such a lovely experience! They didn’t skip any steps and were so kind to all of their patrons. It wasn’t chaotic or overwhelming at all. They offered an array of drink options and were just generally very lovely! I loved both Queenie and Nen :) thank you ladies and I’ll be back! Also it was so clean.Also I went another time before and had the same issue as others where my nails fell off and I had to go back quickly and then they kept falling off but that is not the case anymore. They had a learning curve with the new UV full set and I could tell because now they buff the extensions so they grip better and they have you do a couple of extra UV rounds so now my nails are on nice and tight! Can’t speak for everyone but I think that issue might have been resolved.

They do a decent job but are a bit pricey. $42 for a basic gel mani is a little high for the speedy service.

They have quality service and reasonable prices.I got a gel mani ($38) and regular pedi ($32) and am pleased that they give you the full treatment, from a quick oil massage to scrubbing your feet (something that not all nail salons do).They provided flip flops and even offered a plastic bag for my running shoes which I appreciated ☺️The only thing I didn’t like was how rushed my nail tech seemed to be, but it’s understandable since there was a queue forming and only so many people working.All in all very pleased & I’ll be coming again!

Lovely shaping and color application from both of the nice ladies working on my mani pedi. The warm lotion and stones massage were a treat.

I love Mac Nail Spa! They always do an amazing job with gel manicures, and the manicures always last me a long time (2+ weeks) without chipping. Most recently, I asked them to do some nail art for me and I thought it turned out great! Ive been coming here for about a year now and I plan to keep coming back :)

They did a great job on my gel manicure and pedicure! They were super nice and offered me the choice of tea mango juice or water when I walked in. I wish they had those massage chairs but maybe that’s an east coast nail salon thing. Thank you!

These ladies where nice. There pedicure was low priced. They did a conciencious job. They offer you tea or juice, you are well taken care of there.

First time getting my nails done since January of 2020, and I was very pleased with the experience. The ladies inside were friendly and professional, and they had very clear yet non invasive safety precautions in place. This all made me very comfortable after over a year of salons being closed and marked as dangerous places. They do make you sign a waiver when you enter, but it was easy and straightforward. Everyone was wearing masks, some doubled up. They put clear plastic barriers between the pedicurist and client, so you can still see each other and interact. And they did a great job on my nails! I felt super pampered, and walked out of there happy and with beautiful nails! While they didn’t have two of the gel colors that I chose from their samples, I love the color I ended up with. It is different than what I normally choose, but I am different now too. New girl, in a new world, with fresh new nails.

I was greeted with friendly workers and the owner of the place took the time and patience to explain everything to me. The aesthetic of the place was beautiful and its something I have never seen before. Little snacks were placed out for customers which I thought was very sweet and caring of the owner. I came in only wanting to know the price but with the affordable deals and the aesthetic of the place, I decided to get some gel nails. I am extremely satisfied with the professional work they have done.Overly, I was extremely satisfied with the results they have given me. Definitely, will recommend this to all my friends who want to be pampered. Will definitely come again. Thank you for such a wonderful and amazing experience..

I live near divis and happened to walk pass this new nail salon so I decided to try it out and didnt regret it at all. Everything was clean and very beautiful. My gel lasted pretty well which is super important to me. The ladies there were super helpful, skilled and super nice. Not to mention, they have stunning chairs and tables, nothing like Ive ever seen before. They also have so many colors to chose from and have other services like waxing as well. Will definitely be back for sure!

Unfortunately I can’t recommend Mac salon. I will say the team were all so kind and friendly, as well as accommodating to get me in same day for acrylic removal, gel dip and a gel pedicure. Four days after my appointment two of my dipped nails have already lifted and I’ll need the manicure redone as it’s clear the rest are likely to lift too. And I’ve already got chips on my toenails.I’ve had gel pedicures last up to 6 weeks with no chips so 4 days later is really disappointing. Considering the quality of the manicure I don’t even want to go back to ask them to fix it as I don’t trust the second set will be any better.It’s a shame because they were so kind I would have loved to become a regular customer. Maybe they are great for standard mani pedis but I would avoid for gel dip.

❤️ The SWEETEST people ever! ❤️ They give out MANGO juice 🥭. They took me last minute & were still thorough. The basic pedicure even included a lemon sugar scrub & hot stone massage (usually other places don’t in my experience!). Very clean also. I will definitely be coming back 💖

I have thick eyebrows and she did eyebrow wax pretty well for $20 which is a bit pricey but better than paying $40 at European wax or other places around area

DO NOT go here. In 1 day my nails started breaking and popping off. Wish I could give negative stars but I’ll give one since my pedicure was decent. Don’t go there unless you want to waste money. The technician couldn’t even do a French manicure and quality was TERRIBLE for price. Would never recommend or revisit. Not worthwhile at all.

This place use to be an easy 5-star till the one person who could speak English (proprietor, Queenie) started scaling back. Now the techs are making mistakes because they dont understand what the customers want. COMMUNICATION IS KEY IN BUSINESS.

4 Mani pedi seats and 3 Mani seats. A small but cute shop. However, their service is pretty careless that they hurt my skin sometimes, I think because they wanted to be fast (quite a few people coming in and it was full) Overall, it was not a relaxing experience. I did regular Mani and Pedi. They applied 2 coats for each nail, and one of my toes chipped the next day. But if youre looking for fast service, it might be the place because they finished both of my Mani and Pedi within 30 minutes.

Best nail salon in SF! They take their time but are efficient and it’s perfect every time. Love this neighborhood spot!

Im so bummed! Got a gel manicure and it started chipping 6 days later. Then able to peel off the whole nail in one go the next day. Not good quality. Not worth the money. Do not recommend.

My favorite neighborhood nail salon!! Never have to wait. My nails always look great, the staff is really friendly and always offer something to drink. Highly recommend this place.

Kind and efficient aestheticians. Clean and comfortable vibe. Pedicure didn’t involve scrubbing my heels though, granted I went close to closing time and hadn’t had one in a while.
