Massage Envy

Hana (Hikaru) is my go to therapist. She follows my requests for medium pressure, checking in once or twice during the session if the pressure is alright. Some sessions, I prefer silence, and may even fall asleep on the table. Other times, when I am feeling chatty, we have great conversations. I always leave feeling refreshed and ready for another week of work.

Her style just wasn’t for me. I informed her about my issues with my neck and shoulder but she didn’t find the knots and problem areas to work on them. When she uses her fingers, she applies acupressure which didn’t do much for me. When she uses her hands, she just pushes down on my flesh, which doesn’t necessarily target my muscle. She used her forearms for the sweeping long strokes but it didn’t really target the muscles. Then when she finished, she quickly removed the eye cover which was very startling. I left there feeling like I didn’t have a massage. Very disappointing.

My first time ever getting a facial at Massage Envy and it was the best! Yoshiko looked at my skin and based my treat off of my skin type as well as what I wanted. My skin looked amazing and was glowing all day! I will be coming back to Yoshiko every time I want a facial.

Lucy is really good! She helped me to relax and knew exactly where my tension was. I found my perfect massage therapist. This is the best place to go because they use their actual hands to massage NOT a machine.

I’ve been going there since 2021.If you are looking for an excellent Massage Therapist to help you continue doing your regular activities, be it everyday chores, or an exercise activity that you enjoy, make an appointment with Lucy.

My massage therapist, Lucy, scratched me all over with her really sharp fingernails. The massage was absolutely miserable. When I told Lucy she was hurting me, she said okay.After my massage I reported it to the front desk. Later, I called the front desk and I asked for a refund because I didnt want to pay so much for getting scratched. I spoke with Lisa at the front desk and she apologized and assured me that they can refund my 1 hour and said the manager needs to confirm. When I followed up a month later, she backtracked and said she never said anything like that and they cant comp the whole hour and the manager still needs to confirm. And she started questioning me about irrelevant details about different locations.This tells me that theyre happy to say things to placate customers but dont actually follow through.Looks like I ended up wasting my hour for a painful experience.Wont be going back here again.

I saw Andy for a 90 minute. He was amazing! He managed to find and relax all the knots in my shoulder,. Sone were so sure when i walked in that I thought they were beyond hope but he worked the knots out and I felt so much better when I left.I highly recommend Andy. I know some women are nervous about having a male therapist but he was very respectful and didn’t make me feel at all exposed.

Hiraku is a great masseuse. She is my go to every other week. Lisa at the front desk is great too. They are very nice and professional. The Pruneyard location is close to my home. I would much rather go to the El Paseo location.

I’ve been coming weekly due to an injury and just had the best experience, Hikaru has been my therapist the whole time and she is very knowledgeable so much so I decided to do the monthly membership deal! This location is perfect for me and really like the staff, they are very kind and responsive.

Massage was ok but not great. I asked for extra time on my feet but she didnt do that. Seems like they all have their standard massage that they do no matter what you ask for. It didnt help that when she finished she told me we were ending early but there wasnt enough time to start another area. Another few minutes on my feet would have been nice.....

It was my second time at this location and so far Im really happy with everything ! I did try the aroma therapy this time and I can say wasnt taken by it. I didnt smell the lavender even after the second half of my message barely any lavender scent. I wont be getting that next time.

I have been in many massages’ places, but I enjoyed a lot the one in Paseo de Saratoga because of Alina. She is very professional and does a great job. She is the best!

I had a facial and a 90 min massage. The aesthetician was very friendly and my face felt hydrated. The massage therapist, Alice, gave a good scalp and foot massage, but her hand massage was painful with abrupt motions. This would be a 4 star review minus the mistake made with scheduling my services. I called to ask for microdermabrasion because I had several credits to use up before they expired. The receptionist told me if i scheduled a 90 minute massage before the micro, my credit balance would be zero. When I showed up, someone realized a mathematical error in adding credits, and scheduled me for a facial instead, advising that microdermabrasion would cost 70 dollars more.

I always request Rose when I need a good, therapeutic massage. She is very experienced and knows the body well. A great masseuse that I recommend to all my friends.

Disappointed. Booked a 60 min prenatal massage and the massage therapist ended 5 minutes early. We also started 5 minutes late, so overall it was 50 minutes. She also didn’t read the form I filled out where I stated my focus areas + areas to avoid. She spent very little time in my focus area and spent time on the area I wanted to avoid…

I had never been to a Massage Envy, but Lucy did an amazing job. The right amount of pressure and a focus on the areas I had highlighted during the check-in process. Will be back when Im in the area!

Zemi is an outstanding masseuse. She knows how to work out tightness with just the right pressure. She is also a very pleasant person to work with…She’s great!

Zemi is my absolute favorite therapist. If you have pain like I do from sitting at my desk all day for work and need someone who is super knowledgeable and knows how to help you must see her. She is the best! You wont be disappointed. She is the only therapist I will see.

LiXiang Rose is literally the best! Relaxing and yet she gets all the muscles knots out. Couldn’t recommend her enough

I’ve seen Andy twice now and each time he has really helped to minimize my aches and pain. The last time, I didn’t think I had any major issues, until he started massaging and then I could really feel the pain in my lower back and the base of my neck. He put more attention to these areas and I just felt so much better when I left. Definitely going back to see Andy again!

Therapist concentrates on areas although asked not to. Skips body parts thinking I was asleep during the massage. Pressure not consistent. Just overall NOT a good experience!

Zemi really has an understanding of what stress points to work on for my specific problem zones and I get good relief from the session

Yoshiko has been my massage therapist for a few years and she’s great for a firm massage! Listens to your needs and works on the areas that needs it the most. Very friendly and thorough. Another great massage to start 2024! Definitely needed it.

Judy and Rose are amazing for getting the tension and knots out of my neck, back and shoulders. Highly recommend either. Wish they had more hours here. Really miss Alina too and loved her style of firm/deep tissue.

I like to come to get my massage at this place. I like professionalism of people who works there. Many Massage therapists are very good here but Ming is my favorite. She is always so friendly and very caring but not only that she is also very healing to my body and spirit. I work as professional dog sitter where I handle many dogs who jump all over of me and hurting me time to time and I also do lot of cleaning after dogs and also , dogs pulling my arms on leash and knocking me over when they run in park … all this cause me on going traumas issues and massage is a savior to me and helping me with recovery from on going traumas . I do appreciate a competent massage therapist who can help me to heal my very sore body and I tried every massage therapist in this health spa and I came to conclusion that Ming is a person who truly care for me and others to get better. I do not even need to tell her where my sore areas she feels them with her energy. I am very picky person and it takes a lot to please me . But I found her amazing since I always go back home as a new restore person and IAm very happy I found this place and Ming . Ming THANK YOU VERY MUCH for your kind care and always positive caring energy even though I always come at the end of the day when your hands are probably very tired from long day of work . I go to Xiuhua (Kelly), she is wonderful and her massages are the best I’ve ever had. She’s kind, thorough, and always understands what’s needed and remembers your little preferences. I really appreciate the whole experience at Massage Envy at El Paseo de Saratoga. The manager Alexis is amazing and really helped me with some of my membership complications. I’m so glad I got this membership. It has been 100% worth it.

Zemi is the best! Ive been seeing her for years! Shes basically my physical therapist! Rose also did a good job with the muscle massager! I tried it for the first time this week. It was a great precursor to my massage.

Some of the therapists that I like are not as good as my initial visits with them. I feel they are not as grounded and the energy transfer is weak and so satisfying.

Andy is always the best and most professional! He will tailor all massages for your needs and really kind. If you want firm he’s the guy to go to! He also does a great full body stretch during your session. Love it!

Ming has wonderful techniques and it’s very enjoyable. I highly recommend her. I had her give my son, Stuart Rosser, a massage and he enjoyed it too.

I have found the best Massage Therapist, Zemi. She has helped me overcome a shoulder issue and helps to elevate my ongoing back issues and tension. I have been getting massages for years, to many to admit. Zemi is by far one of the best at working the muscles and bringing relief.

Andy is my favorite massage therapist at Massage Envy El Paseo. He is fantastic. I also enjoyed Alex and Leon. I havent tried others yet but so far everyone Ive had is amazing.

This place is nice and clean with many friendly staff. They offered all kinds of massages, tension release, and facials. Joy has done a good job cleaning up my face and the technique is really great.

Andy does a great job finding the souce of my aches and pains! Ive never felt comfortable getting massages, but its a comfortable environment and getting them semi regularly has helped my pain and nerve issues

Came in for a one hour massage. My first time here had no expectations really. My therapist was yoshiko. She was great! She went over all the areas of focus first & asked how much pressure. She explained the process throughly too before starting. It was cute/funny about 5 mins in when she started my neck she goes “WOW YOU ARE STIFF. You needed to come in!” I giggled because this is not news to me. I sit at a desk all day and I dont stretch as much as I should. At the end she showed me some stretches to do and said I should come back because I’m still stiff. Don’t doubt it I’m a mess lol. Anyways I just moved out of the area but thinking of getting a membership where I live. Next time I’m back visiting my family I’ll def be back to see yoshiko!

Maribel is an excellent masseuse and one cannot compliment her enough. Great deep tissue massage that helped unlock my very tight back and neck which had developed mobility issues from lifting weights. Definitely recommend.

I was given a gift card from my boss yesterday so I decided to go to massage envy at 9 o’clock where on the website says it’s open …I called …no answer then I drove up to the store…..store hours on the door say 8 am to 9 PM it’s now 9 am and no one is here and no one answers the phone …..somethings off with his place.

Front desk was rude. They sat me in a waiting area. Have me no intructions to why I was sitting there. She spent 80% of the time in my lower back while I was waiting for the rest of my body. Never happen she went to my shoulders. Boom thats. It. Very disappointed. Talking to district manager was a joke too.

I called Wednesday morning to schedule an appt for Friday evening at 6:30pm, not only they kept me on the line for some time, I show up Friday at 6:15pm , and I am told they cannot find my reservation. Not only they do not offer any compensation, but also very poor etiquette. Will not return to this location.
