Monsters of Rock 2 Smoke Shop & Vape

The customer service at this store is top-notch. The staff is very friendly, upbeat, and knowledgeable about the products they carry. They are very observant of customers preferences and make helpful suggestions. They also take the time to explain how the products work, which has helped me save money. I really appreciate the service at this store. My friendly neighborhood store. I miss my guy that use to be in store 24/7??? Did they sale store??

(*1st paragraph = a situation that happened to me Friday night, please scroll down for an honest review of store after reading)* I hate leaving a review for something of this nature, however if your hours are 9 AM to 10 PM and The door is locked at 9:58 PM, thats super lame. I cut it way to close but i work till 9:30 & am upset i waisted my gas. Especially because i cant enjoy my night now because youre employing people that lock up early.. & i couldnt PURCHASE A NEW NAIL.. . Super lame. To avoid speaking with me they stayed inside until I pulled out at 10:04. I wouldve been gone two minutes after arriving and you wouldve been $20 richer for the night. Customer service guys come on. Amazing staff and i appreciate them staying in this location so i dont have to drive else where BUT. I would like the store owners to know that I think they sould stop selling Lux vape pens. The mechanism is so weird. I have to pick up the pen, look at the light, make sure it stops flashing, make sure that ive waited 2-3 seconds after the flahshing end, to then draw. ITS really annoying for a pen thats over $15.

Super chill staff and owner is cool, ive been going here for about 14 years and they usually have my stuff and if not they will order what I need/have bought before. A huge variety of tobaccopipes and other things youd find at smoke/head shops. All staff members are knowledgeable about their products and are cool AF.

Updated review:Have been purchasing the Hyppe Max Flow nicotine salt vapes 3-4 at a time every week for the past few months. Quality control is shoddy as the battery life varies significantly. Recently had one that was dead out of the box and went into return/exchange it, only to be given the who knows where you bought this treatment. Didn’t expect the place to nickel and dime me like this after selling me a faulty product. Either get your inventory management and quality control right or stop selling products you know to be faulty. Last time, I saw a gentlemen opening several of these right outside the store to check if they work. Does this sound normal to you?Dishonest practices. Won’t be returning. 1 star.Previous review:Friendly staff and great that they always seem to check for ID. Selection and pricing is superior to other shops in the area. 4 stars.

I love this place. The guy working tonight and the black-haired metal-head are super knowledgeable and helpful. The vibe is chill, they have a little of everything and the prices are good. I cannot stress how knowledgeable these guys are. They know their percs, tell them a problem and they will help with a solution and they will look around to get what you want not just throw random suggestions at you.

Chill, friendly service. Usually has most of the mod components in stock that I need, though they never carry any of the drip tips that match the vapes they sell. So one star deduction for that illogical stocking methodology. But they have a great selection of products and cleanses, for those last minute oh sh*t moments at work.

Great smoke shop! Usually have a large selection of lighters and other items. They also carry larger butane sizes than the shop closer to my place. Pricing is on the higher end I think but products are decent, not all junky.

Pretty much the best head shop in town. Crazy wide selection of pretty much every necessary products. An extremely knowledgeable staff to make sure what you choose is the right fit for your needs. I personally have been coming to this shop for over 20 years, So you know its gotta be good lol

Ive been to Monsters of Rock 2 twice; once to buy jewelry, and once for a piercing. My initial visit was a success. I was promptly greeted, and given exactly what I need for a fair price in less than 5 minutes. I then returned about a week later for a piercing on a Sunday, which is when I ran into problems. The only staff member available was the piercer, who was with a client when I arrived. I had to wait roughly 5 minutes to be greeted. I was then informed that they dont do dermals, and they stray away from many other more common piercings as well. On top of that, they charge the same amount for a nipple piercing as they do a nostril piercing ( $45.99). I found that price to be outrageous for a simple nostril piercing. Further disappointment came when I learned that they do not order custom jewelry. I will not be returning to this establishment for piercings, but for basic jewelry selection, theyre great, provided you know what you want.

Went here to see if they had earrings that were better for super sensitive ears than the ones at Claires or Kohls. I figured theyd know about that since they are a piercing store. The girl there didnt know anything beyond pointing me in the direction of the display cases, which only had surgical steel, cubic zirconium studs - not much of a selection.

The people working here are the crême de la crême of the front line essential workers. My heroes. They dont get enough credit. Actually theres only one woman whos been there working every time Ive gone. Shes so fine youll want to go every day in order to get a look at her. Buy your Puff Bars one at a time is my suggestion.

Love this place, they have a huge, wonderful selection of prices and great quality lighters (hard to find IMHO). Knowledgeable staff that are friendly and have good tips! Highly recommend!

I love going to monsters rock. The people there are alwayes helpful and very friendly. Ive been to many of the smoke smokes but this one is the number one place. You want a great experience and friendly place it a must.

I bought a bong at the reccomendation of the tall, cute, black-haired metal head that practically lives there (guy better be a manager). He told me it would survive most drops because the percolators were fused to the piece or some bs.I have dropped this thing more times than I can count, knocked it over on hardwood repeatedly and I think I just broke my nuckle on it reaching for a chip. It has no micro-cracks or anything.I had always heard the staff was knowledgable but I wanted to add my voice to the consensus.

Typically good smoke shop, it has what you need unless you are looking for heady glass quality and it is usually playing metal and the only guy who I have ever seen in there is insanely chill. So... 5 stars as smoke shop go.

I went to this place to check it out.I was amaze by the price for glass p. Compare to most smoke shops in bayarea you can find a nice glass p for a reasonable price not no 10000 of dollars just cuz the glass was forme into some type of art.I my self was a graffity artis for years and i know art when i see it and its redicules how expensive some of the bayarea smoke shops sale there glass for.I practicality been to every smoke shop from hollister CA to sf. And this smoke shop was the only one with a fair price thank you monster rock.

FRAUD ALERT!!! These scumbags will sell used and broken products as new and do nothing to remedy the situation once called out on it. ANYWHERE BUT HERE WILL BE A BETTER CHOICE!Ive come here many times over the past 10 years. Up until recently I would have recommended them to everyone. Now I will do my best to make sure everyone stays away!I purchased a Volcano Classic from them on July 4th. Upon opening the box at home I noticed the seal was broken. I kept opening the box and turned the unit on to find it never got up to temperature.I brought the unit back to the store on 7/8 and informed them the unit didnt work properly. They told me I should go through Storz and Bickel and take advantage of the 3 year warranty. So I took it to Storz and Bickel in Oakland for repair. After the repair tech opened the unit he discovered that the unit was used and had been dropped, breaking the thermostat. They returned the unit to me with proof that it was used.I took the unit back to the store again on Saturday and the owner/manager had the audacity to call me a liar. He then tried to tell me that the broken, used unit wasnt the one he sold me. That I switched it out with another unit. He said to come back today and he would see what he could do. So I did. He didnt even have the balls to tell me to my face that he was going to continue ripping me off, instead he had some employee do it for him.AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

Employees are helpful but not very knowledgeable on products. Doesnt always have what your looking for so you may end up going somewhere else to find exactly what you need. Vapors on Hamilton may be a better choice

I purchased a Smok TFV-12 and a Snowwolf 218 from Monsters of Rock on 5/9/2017 along with two Smok filters. When I arrived at my house I received a defective Snowwolf 218 and now my Smok TFV-12 is broken. Monsters of Rock refuses to exchange or refund the money I spent.I had to go to Monsters of Rock twice on 5/10/2017, the first time around 1:15 PM I was told by a young lady that because this is a smoke shop and not Target I would have to wait for the person who sold me the item to be scheduled to work or wait for another co worker who was scheduled to work that day at 2:30 PM to take a look at my clearly broken vape mod and tank because she was not experienced enough to make a decision on what was broken.After I went the second time that day I was told that they still couldnt exchange or refund me, although the man there at the time did confirm it was a manufacturer defect and I had a receipt from my purchase the day before.

I guess dude working seemed nice but hella fake-like. Felt like i was being judge. This of all places i would never thought that they would do something like that. Its okay. I’ll just take my money elsewhere

Nice place to find mods and juices. Not a lot of extras like apparel or hats. But cool staff and a huge selection of bongs and pipes.

Parked. Scrawny guy pops out and says you cant park LIKE THAT!. Said OK! and left. Getting pods for my gf somewhere else.Avoid this place until they repave the lot, restripe the parking spots, and hire new staff.

Horrible customer service I showed up at 9:54 when they close at 10 p.m. the lights are off and the door was locked I seen two people inside the store and told him that a buddy of mine has something on hold and at the time he didnt have enough money to pick up so I drove 30 minutes 2 Monsters of Rock for the guy to talk to me like trash long hair guy weirdo with the trench coat complete a****** told me the register was down already but it was before 10 doesnt make any sense bad business I will no longer give this place my business also I will make sure to put the word out about my experience

They have so much selection here for piercings even though its supposed to be more of a smoke shop. I wish I knew about this place before I had my ears done somewhere else.
