Very clean and peaceful spot to get a massage. All the staff are super friendly, and the massage therapists are all very friendly, professional, and well trained 👍👍

They rescheduled on me only a day or two before because the person I was scheduled with no longer works there. Then I went in for a 60 min massage and it was only 45 min… I talked with the management and they said it’s 50 min hands on and 10 min to get set up. But that was never communicated with me. Even if it is 50 min hands on I still got shorted 5 min. Overall really disappointing especially for the high price point.

I really like Massage Envy in Santa Barbara. I think they offer a good, clean and calm environment and great therapists . I was attended by several therapists in the last 8 years . Some already left. My recommendations (as of 2019) are: for deep tissue go with Andy (he is great and very experienced). For a firm but painless massage, go with Gabrielle (she is new, pretty good). For a light one, good in days that we need a good night of sleep, go with Grace. There are many others that are great too; i do not recollect anyone that i did not like. If interested in facial, go with Jesse - she is wonderful and knows what she is doing.

I cant comment on my massage, because I never got one. I had booked a couples massage for my husband and I for his birthday 2 weeks in advance, thinking a massage would be a nice surprise for him since we have a 6 month old. The day before our appointment I got a call confirming our appointment, I was more than looking forward to it. The day of our appointment I got a voice mail around 2:00 saying one therapist would not be there, that they would have to cancel my appointment. Being in the beauty industry, I thought it was strange they would completely cancel, and not try to book another therapist. After talking with the receptionist we booked another couples massage for the same day but a later time, after getting the babysitter to agree to a different time and changing our dinner plans. About an hour before our appointment (note: the second one I booked), I received yet another call canceling our appointment completely. Not only had I changed my plans once, now, on my husbands birthday I had nothing for him. I wouldnt recommend this business, and if you do try it out dont bother making any plans.

Ive been here for facials multiple times over the last couple of months and have loved my experience! Jesse is wonderful and honestly, my skin glows for days after.

The front desk was incompetent and/or lazy. There were a bunch of them sitting there chatting and no one offered to help me when I walked in. I tried to book an appointment with a gift card and they gave me the run around. Im never going back. Too bad because the massage was fine, the front desk ruined the experience. I much prefer The Massage Place on Victoria, great massages and theyre less expensive without making you pay a monthly membership fee.

Less than stellar.-Massage started 15 minutes later than the scheduled time.-Room was cold, and the massage table blanket was not turned on-Therapist very rushed-When asked how my massage was at the front counter, I told her it wasn’t that great, and she did nothing/ didn’t care.The therapist was very sweet, however It’s not unreasonable to have these expectations.UPDATE 1/3/19Clicked on the link below, filled out the form, and have not received a response yet.

The massage was great! (been seeing the dame guys for years and he is the best!!! No I wont tell you, because he is all ready hard to book....) My biggest complaint about their relatively new location is now the walls are paper thing and you can ever people talking and every little noise around you, including the front lobby and desk where I was for my last massage. I asked about it, and evidently the owner skimped on cost by cutting out the sound insulation in the dividing walls - 😱

Made an appointment for my husband a month in advance and my husband took time off work and was excited for it. He drove almost an hour to the location only to have them say they do not have the appointment scheduled and the girl he was scheduled with no longer works there. They never notified us, they never offered anything to compensate all our wasted time. I would not recommend this location to anyone.

Massage was not deep enough, felt rushed, checked my phone at the end and found out it had been ended 5 minutes early. Masseuse also kept talking and wouldnt stop. Booked a couples massage for my boyfriend and they put us in separate rooms, and gave him a male massage therapist... very underwhelming $200 experience. never again!! Also you can hear everything going on around you in the room so its impossible to relax.

My mom, my sister, and, my 13 year old sister went there for massages. All of us loved it, great service! My sister said it was the best massage she’s ever experienced. The bed can heat up which was really nice as well.

Would never do service here because the manager isnt very good and can be immature and has bad cdtomer service. Best if you go get a massage somewhere else. Thats the best idea. Getting a massage here would be a waste of time.

My girlfriend made a couples massage appt with Lissa (a manager) for our anniversary. She spoke w/the district manager during the booking & specifically asked for it to be together because its her first time. We get to the appt & they tell us the couples room is occupied & well be in different rooms but they can throw in a foot wash or reschedule us for the next day. Problem is that the next day is not our anniversary.Thank you massage envy for ruining the gift on the one day it matters.I have gotten massages here before, and have experienced the same sort of issues with overbooking, and appointments being moved around. If your able to get one, they do do a good job at it.

This is a very difficult review to write because the Massage Therapist was amazing. It is the staff, particularly Princess Popular (57 dark hair and incredibly deep husky voice), who make this location the Seventh Ring of Hell. Princess Popular fell all over herself to ring me out when my massage was completed. And then... she literally abandoned the transaction, leaving my transaction open and incomplete. I literally stood there being ignored for 5 minutes while Princess Popular oohd and awed over the boyfriend that came to visit. The other girl, clearly the less popular blonde, had to back everything out so she could complete the transaction. It was ridiculous. I would have walked out but I worried that the amazing therapist David would be held responsible because its pretty clear that Princess Popular runs the show over there.I am in disbelief that the owners of this franchise allow such incredibly disrespectful staff at their location.I filled out the Mssage Envy survey but have had no reply or response. Its fairly evident that Princess Popular controls the social media over there as well - good luck with improving sales as long as that ding bat is employed by Massage Envy.This location is NOT recommended.

I had a massage with Nicola on 7/11/19. Nicola made the whole experience extremely uncomfortable for me, for a few reasons:1. I let him know (and showed him) that my right big toe was not to be touched and it was covered by a band-aid. He massaged that toe with the same force as the left big toe, which hurt a lot. Granted, I should have reminded him, but its pretty obvious when theres a band-aid and the person is flinching every time you touch a certain spot. I was secretly hoping it would bleed onto the sheet so he would learn his lesson.2. When massaging my lower back, he continually thrust his pelvic region into the crown of my head. This alone could be considered sexual assault.3. When massaging my right upper thigh, he (whether inadvertently or not) touched a very private area.. Ill leave it at that.Overall, Ive had about five massages and this was the worst. I would have left halfway through if my wife wasnt getting a massage at the same time. Im glad this was a gift, as they will never receive any of my money.

I think Massage Envy Spa is the best full service spa in Santa Barbara to receive full body massage and facials for the best deal. Ive been to every spa here, and this one has all of the best massage therapists in SB working there! Would re-visit! Again and Again!

Purchased a gift card for my wife right before covid -19 began. The store had closed right after. They refuse to issue me a refund. I hope they go out of business.

Leandra and Jess are just pretty rude and honestly need to consider a career outside of customer service. Won’t be going back
