Margery was my massage therapist this time around, and she is consistently great! She is thorough, highly skilled, attuned to her client’s needs, and responsive. I definitely try to make appointments with her whenever her schedule and mine coincide.

Dominique was excellent—-firm throughout and gentler in tender spots. She responded to my feedback quickly and with grace. And she gave me a stretch to do at home for the neck and shoulder area that had the most tension.

Joanne was awesome. I had pain and she explained all of the muscles causing it, stretches to do all while kneading and relaxing the muscles! Her experience shows and her kindness was worth every penny!

She work an area to much and caused an issue with my leg. I have had to go home and put ice on my thighs most of the night and its still sore. She said she knew where a specific muscle was but she didnt know how to massage that mussle.

Anthony listened very well as to where I said my body needed attention. Also did a great job giving full body and incorporating stretches to help with mobility. If you have tense spots that need work and want full body, I recommend booking a 90 minute session

Liz was wonderful. She is the first therapist that I have had a real deep tissue massage with in 15 years. Definitely keep her.

Greatest massage I ever gotten she was so gentle & sweet,patient asked if I was doing which I though she was thought of my feelings. I will recommend her too ever goes to get a massage from her my daughter recommend her to me & I was not disappointed!!!!!! Thank you!!!

Unfortunately, the front desk guy confirmed me for an appointment I never made. I only inquired about the date and time. Then, when the manager called me, I told her I never confirmed the appointment, she raised her voice at me and started nagging that she was there when I confirmed, and there’s a fee, blah blah blah.If she would have spoken to me like normal business people speak to customers, I would have paid the fee or shown up! But, you can’t speak to people in an accusatory, aggressive tone and expect a good outcome. That’s just the latest nonsense I’ve experienced at this location.

I am not sure why a business that is trying to emanate a calm and relaxing environment would paint the rooms a cold, loud blue color. Also, you can hear the conversations from every room next to you. The music isn’t great, either. I’ve tried three different techs here. The one that was ok enough for me to try again, did an awful job the second time after I had told her she was awesome the first time. Consistency in all aspects is terrible here.

Tammy is amazing. Im a care giver so my back is always sore from all the lifting I do. Getting a massage from always makes me and my back so much better.

In Santa Fe, Habiba is excellent. She listens to your issue, asked about additional add ons to help you and then spends time working to make you feel better. She is always top notch!!

I can’t even say what I briefly had last night was a relaxing massage. The gal put lotion on my back and that was about all I felt. Her hand stayed motionless on one spot. I got up and left. $75 is not cheap and I don’t expect perfection but this gal is not a massage therapist. Frustrating because I work and massage envy doesn’t have many evening openings nor weekends often and the good therapist don’t last long. I need massages frequently for health issues so I know a good therapist when I get one. The gals last night were kind and professional. The staff is always so nice.

My massage with Manny was outstanding. I requested deep tissue therapy and his was very good . He was also very attentive and responsive to my requests.

Anthony is an excellent therapist. He listens to the patient and does what he can to give problem areas the proper attention.

Tammy is a very personable massage therapist. She is friendly and does an amazing job! I always leave feeling great.

Manuel is very professional and listens for input. Ive gone to him the last three sessions as I enjoy his technique.

This location in Santa Fe canceled my appointment never rescheduled and Charged me for two months with out performing any service and will not refund me. It is not my fault your staff quit on you. I guess we can just go to small claims court

Well delivering laundry there looked very relaxing and peaceful was given instructions by my trainer not to knock on the back door without going to the front first as to not interfere with the massage process that was going on with their customers everyone seemed friendly

The massages were good, but the availability of staff and appointments was extremely limited. I purchased a membership, which I barely used because of the limited calendar - especially evenings and weekends when I was available. ME didnt offer any type of refund. I wont be using them again.

Yikes. The music was very loud and terrible. It must have been break time because I could hear everyone laughing and carrying on during my massage (no one was quiet, even in the hallway). This is the first time I did not mention I’m an LMT and I’ll never do that again. Honestly THE. WORST massage I have ever had (and it was 90 minutes so I paid extra, sadly). I tipped because it was the right thing, not because she earned it (but I regret that). Which is terrible since it has only been the second time THIS YEAR I was able to get my MONTHLY massage. When asked if I would like to schedule my next massage, the next available isn’t until almost 8 weeks from now and then when asked if I wanted to schedule another one I couldnt because the November schedule isn’t even out yet. This is very bad business. My membership ends in February and not a moment too soon. I am so very disappointed. I have never left a massage more uptight, sore and angry. Everyone has a bad day but when you can only get your monthly massage twice a year it is unacceptable. The facials and all things not massage have been great. The front desk staff is welcoming and kind but there needs to be a better system. I would NOT recommend a monthly subscription for massage. You will never get one once a month, which is what you pay for. Go elsewhere.

Worst massage Ive ever had. Resulting in moderate to severe pain.I was gifted a massage for my birthday by a friend. Booking a massage was easy and the front desk staff was kind. I went in feeling good, no major issues because my last massage was the month before at Ojo Caliente, it was HEAVENLY. I was ready to get another relaxing massage. I met with the masseuse and told her what I would like to have done and where my problem areas were. I asked for medium pressure and to focus on my back, traps, neck, and hips. I have tight muscles and many knots for Im a heavyweight lifter. My masseuse got right to work on my back. She rubbed my back with medium pressure but when it came to all the knots she bypassed them all. She did basic rubbing ANYONE can do. She didnt spend much time on my back either. She mainly rubbed my mid to lower back, didnt touch my upper back until later when I was flipped on my back (Ill get to that part in a moment). She rubbed my legs for a few mins and again bypassed all tense muscles. I was disappointed here because my legs were extremely sore from a previous workout the day before. She turned me around and moved on to my arms and spent maybe a minute on each. All she did was rub lotion on them... When it came to my neck and traps. She only did a few passes bypassing all knots. She didnt work on the sides or front of my neck just the back which was painful for me. She used her knuckles with medium to heavy pressure where my occipital points are and this caused me major pain. She also used her knuckles with medium to heavy pressure on my mid and upper back close to my spine, this was painful as well. Once my massage was conclude I left a tip and went home. As I got home I started experiencing dizziness, light sensitivity, and extreme pain in my entire head and face. I drank a lot of water and had to sleep for the rest of the day. The next few days my back and neck were in severe pain making it hard to do daily tasks, sleep through the night, and perform efficiently at the gym and work. I will never be going back. And my advice to the ones who give massage envy a shot please becareful about who you choose as your masseuse.

The therapists are always great, its getting an appointment that was always an issue. I was a client for over 10 years and paid my membership monthly however was not able to go monthly so accumulated over $2,000 worth of massages. I would have to book at least 2 months in advance to be able to get a massage. I was never able to get a massage when I really needed it, but was always put on a cancelation list (never helpful since I work full time). Massage Envy wanted to charge me $10 monthly for using my accumulated massages and pausing my account. Ridiculous when they never had therapists available for me to schedule with. I finally had to cut my losses. I didnt miss out on the massages since they never had anything available when Id call for an appointment anyways.

If I could leave less than one star I would. Massage envy has great massage therapists and this review isnt against them. This is about availability and their membership plans. It sucks and I will never go through them again because of it!!!

Excellent 60 min massage by Eva. Very thorough and therapeutic. I usually get 90 minute massages, but that wasn’t available. Impressed with how I felt after this 60 minute massage.

My experience with this location was nothing short of wonderful! From the front desk staff, to the management, and the therapist, they were all fantastic! I am working on location here in Santa Fe. My line of work places a lot of demand on my body. As a result, it was critical that I found a quality massage location while I was here! Well, I definitely found it!When I called to schedule my appointment the staff was incredibly helpful, friendly and accommodating. The follow up conversations I had with them, leading up to my appointment, were equally satisfying! When I arrived, the environment was clean, safe and adhering to all safety regulations and suggestions. The staff was very professional and efficient!The absolutely highlight of my visit was my therapist, Michelle! To put this in proper context, I am a 12 yr. member of Massage Envy and have been getting massages regularly most of my adult life, Michelle’s service was ONE OF THE BEST. She has a very unique approach to her therapy and pays great attention to detail. She provided a fantastic deep tissue massage which provided me with immediate relief! I have another appt scheduled for this week!In summary, great job team Santa Fe Massage Envy!!

The membership I have provided me with a reminder to set time to relax enjoy something that is just for me.The staff is always friendly, and my massage is always heaven. Worth the money that I spend each month.I love the time to relax. Its a scheduled disconnect for self.. Getting a same day massage is probably out of the question.. When I first got my membership many years ago. I could schedule a appointment same day I miss that. Sometimes you need special attention quick and thats not likely to happen.. But I will say I absolutely see a benefit to the massage I get when im able to get one.Michelle has always done a great job at addressing my triger areas.. Im blessed to have been introduced to her helping my many injuries..

I love Massage Envy. Ive been a member for several yrs, and Ive had some fabulous therapists. I tend to stick with the same person - I prefer establishing a rapport and seeing that person regularly.The facility is always clean. The staff is very helpful, professional and just plain nice.Santa Fe is an expensive city, and being a member here makes sense if you get regular massages. It really is a value: both the quality of the therapists and the $.They call you the day before to remind you which I love. There is a comfy waiting area, but they pretty much always run on time.I would recommend scheduling your next massage right when you check in for your current one. I settle the bill, leave the tip and make my next session, then relax until they call me back. This way, when Im done, I can float home without having to do any math or make any decisions.My regular dude, David is leaving and Im sad. He was so good. Im sure Ill find another therapist that I will love too. Hey, ME- please bring back Ronnie.

We have been members since the beginning of this location. Although therapists do change out for the most part there are enough therapists to find someone you really like. I love the ease of the system of the automatic payments and to be able to use them whenever I wish. Overall it’s the easiest way for me to receive multiple massages in a year. The massages are medicine for me!

Today was the first ever professional massage I have ever gotten and I have to say massage envy made it a great one!! Danielle at the front desk was extremely friendly and helpful!! Eva worked on me. And did an amazing job. I do have a little bit of pain in some spots but Im thinking maybe because its the first so my back is really messed up and I need to continue! Plus I only got the hour massage! Either way I am satisfied!! Thank you guys for making my first time and my birthday great! I will be back for a membership!!

5! My neck hurt so bad when I went in and now it feels almost back to normal! The pressure was perfect, firm to deep. Eva listened to what I said and gave me the perfect massage. I will definitely request her next time!

During the 9 months I have been a member, I was advised that massage therapists are sick and that there were no available massage therapists to give a massage for 3 of my scheduled appointments. The massage appointment was cancelled an hour or two before the scheduled appointment. At one scheduled appointment I showed up and was told that there was an error in the scheduling process. Again, no massage. I have paid for 4 massages, which is an automatic withdrawal from my checking account monthly, and have not received the massages. While speaking with a manager, I explained that I am being charged for services that are not rendered. The manager stated she has no control over her staff being sick. I understood but the customers money needs to be returned if the scheduled service needs to be cancelled by Massage Envy staff. The manager advised that appointments need to be made again, that there is nothing in their contract that offers a refund for cancelled appointments made by staff members. Very poor business practices and customer service.

Every massage has been what I needed, not too much but where I needed it. Anthony and Arely are highly recommended

My local Massage Envy always has one or two people who are strong enough to give me the deep tissue massage that I need and the experience to work with my old injuries and slowly correct them. Its a great place to go for a relaxing massage but I need much more than that and Tammy makes sure I leave feeling far better than when I arrived.

From the moment I walk in, to the moment I leave ME, I am treated with respect. Everybody is kind and very professional. My therapist is the best. She is thorough, very well versed and extremely compassionate. Thank you Habiba!

My girlfriend has a membership there. She got me to go in. Both times I went in and it was horrible. I have been getting professional massages for years but went in anyways to try it out. You can totally see the level of inexperience and laziness. Yet they kept insisting I enroll. Rule of thumb People, you get what you pay for. Now they are giving her a hard time to get off the contract. If you have never had a massage you might think its good until you get a professional massage and then realize what youre really missing out on. Dont do it...Its to much money to gamble on and to get out of contract.

I was very disappointed as a therapist I was not familiar with was less than stellar. All she did was apply firm pressure as slow as a Sloth on my back and neck the entire 50 minutes with no attention paid to my arms, legs or feet. No circular or kneeling of any body part, just weird.

Habiba is great and attentive to my requests. In general, having loose, flat sheets makes turning over a challenge. Please find a way to secure the bottom sheet. Thanks!

Incredibly rude staff that dont seem to care about their customers. Rhiannon, the woman at the front, was shockingly rude and abrasive when I asked simple questions. No excuses for the way she treated us. Strongly advise you take your money and time elsewhere where you will be treated like a normal human being.

I had one of the best massages I have ever had with Ambrosia.Ambrosia has a wonderful touch and seems to intuit where a person has pain. She is quite pleasant and personable. I look forward to being her client in the future.

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! I will never go back to the Zafarano massage envy in Santa Fe, NM ever again. Rhiannon Bransford is the owner whom exhibited unprofessionalism at its finest while on a phone call with me showing how rude a person can be. I have used many locations of massage envy all over the US, and have never been treated so poorly. After just one phone call I am in the process of cancelling my subscription as well as that of my mom. It is just not acceptable for an owner to speak or treat a paying customer like I was just spoken to.

I have had nothing but GREAT experiences at Massage Envy Santa Fe! The therapists have been professional and the massages I have gotten have been great! The front desk staff are awesome and always very courteous. I have never felt pressured in any way!

Hands down the worst massage I have ever experienced. I told the guy that I wanted him to focus on my shoulders and my lower back. He spent the majority of the massage rubbing his forearms down my middle back, he never once touched my lower back or my shoulders. When he went to rub my feet he actually just rubbed his hand on the side of my foot for like five seconds as if he were quickly petting me and then he was done. I asked for a deep massage and it was super light, I cant imagine what a light massage would be like. He basically just rubbed his palm or his forearms on my skin, but never actually massaged me. Horrible! I will never go back there. I left with the same amount of discomfort that I went in with, but less money. What a waste.

My husband and I came here for a couples massage while on our in-state babymoon. While we werent able to be in the same room due to COVID, we both had a very relaxing, pain-relieving massage. My masseur was professional and provided a great prenatal massage! Clean amenities too!

Tammy is a skilled massage therapist. She is very warm and friendly. I personally prefer a massage with less conversation.

I always enjoyed going here but my last visit the front desk attendant told me she would call me before my next appointment a day before so I told her not to waste a card with the time and date on it. They lied and said they called me...but did call me the day of my appointment after I was to be there. They refused to accommodate me and let me reschedule even though the associate promised she would call to remind me. Very poor customer service . I will NEVER join another yearly membership .

I was a member here for years, even purchased gift cards at the end of each year for my kids teachers. I recently moved to another city and found out that the membership was much cheaper in my new city. The management wouldnt transfer my membership, so I was told to cancel, and open a new membership in my new city...same owner too according to the staff... I lost all of my accumulated massages. They have lost this customer for life. This is extremely poor business practice.

Ive been a member with this location for a year and UNFORTUNATELY it has NOT been a good experience considering the cost of the membership! The owner, Brian was NO help at all when I needed to speak with him about an issue I was having. In fact he tried getting my sympathy for him as he stated to me, he had just been slapped on his hand by the Massage Envy corporate higher ups! Thats VERY UNPROFESSIONAL business owner behavior in my opinion to expect from your members, by using that as the reason you cant provide adequate and caring customer service. This speaks for how this place treats its members. In addition to this, Brian ended up not helping me with my issue. Further more, if you try to schedule a massage at this location they never has accommodating availability to youre personal schedule, yet they never forget to collect the monthly due when its that time to pay them!!! Ive had multiple incidents over the course of the past year (2016) where I couldnt schedule massages at times that were accommodating to my personal availability. Its TOO BAD that this is the only Massage Envy in Santa Fe, NM because this place ISNT WORTH the monthly cost of the membership and the owner (Brian) is worthless when it comes to caring about his members and trying to help.

Joanne was genuinely helpful with ideas for areas of my body which needed extra help and stretching exercises I could do. She is personable and seems like she loves helping people.

Ive been a member for 2 months, tried 2 massage therapists. One was okay & the other one SUCKED. The desk girl asked how I liked it & I said well, I went in for low back work & he basically kneaded his elbows into my shoulders for 45 minutes &... She cut me off, didnt want to hear it. Then asked about my TIP. 2nd time similar but another girl there jumped in w/ names of her favorites- will try one of those people before I sue to get out of the contract. ALSO- I personally dont need 5 minutes before any session but they do it anyway. They are not Allowed to give more than 50 of the 60 minutes so, that was false advertising. Before each massage they leave until that 5 mins is up, no matter what. L a m e.

Although many things have changed since the pandemic, I still give this business a high rating for doing their best to satisfy their clients.

I got a prenatal massage here. It was the worst massage of my life I was more uncomfortable getting the massage Then I am cramping on my couch! This was the worst massage ever and the massage therapist didn’t put any effort into it at all she didn’t even stand up once sitting on her butt will she give me a massage! This was the worst $70 I ever spent I would’ve been better off just losing in the wind because I wouldn’t of went home so sore that night,

4 Stars for Robert, medical massage. Its a powerful massage unless you ask him for light touch or whatever. He broke up tangled fascia & muscle knots in my injured back. Painful! but the after-effects are wonderful. He knows what hes doing. ... Ive had a couple very bad massages @ ME in Santa Fe from people that should not have graduated yet were hired, 1 fair, & a lovely dreamy massage from a young woman. If you want Healing for issues then Roberts the guy!

Robert was great! He’s very professional and knowledgeable. Kind and nice. The only thing I would comment that wasn’t great, was that someone was making noise and talking loud. These kind of places supposed to be very quiet.

I had one of the best massage with Joanne. I’ve seen many therapist and I plan to rebook with her. The front desk is always so friendly and helpful.

The massage therapist was fine. But one of the rooms down the hall was really loud. You could hear people talking and laughing. It really interfered with the quality of others massage.

Out of the 6 massages I recieved only one of them was decent. One was so bad halfway through the massage I walked out. I called and emailed the manager and owners daily for weeks to talk about the horrible massage. They never responded to my phone calls or emails and I was still charged for the full amount.You pay for an hour long massage but its actually closer to 45 minutes because of a 10 minute lapse from the massage before you, and your massage ends a few minutes early to prepare for the next massage.I was advised by a friend that at the end of the 6 month membership I have to fill out a cancellation form to have them stop taking out money for the monthly deduction. I filled out the cancellation form the day my membership ended yet they still continued to take out the money monthly. I filled out three cancellation forms in a five month period but they still deducted money monthly. I called and emailed the numbers and emails shown online and also the owners weekly for the five months I was being unjustly charged and I never once recieved a response. The closest to a response I recieved was an email telling me to call the manager after 2pm. I called multiple times that day and as usual the front desk told me they were unavailable or theyd transfer me and Id get the managers answering machine.I finally had to cancel my credit card and file a dispute through the credit card. I am not sure if all the Massage Envys are like the one I dealt with here in Santa Fe at 3490 Zafarano Drive, Santa Fe, 87507. But Id highly suggest not trusting the one here in Santa Fe on Zafarano Dr.

Worst massage experience ever!! If you want a cheap massage, this is the place. However, you will get what you pay for. I called to book a deep tissue massage for my husband, who has really bad muscle issues. I asked the lady on the phone if she had someone with the strength and stamina to do a 1 1/2 hour deep tissue massage and she said she did. I emphasized my point further by telling her, I mean I need a gorilla that can dig deep and use heavy pressure. I said that because I know what my husband is looking for. His back is hard to work on and needs extremely deep pressure to release the knots. So, she assures me that Stephon can do that. So I book him an hour and a half massage and I paid extra for Deep Muscle Therapy, that she recommended. I asked my husband about it afterwards and I was pissed at what he told me.First, Stephon looks at his chart where it describes the type of massage and pressure he needs and proceeds to tell him.... I do over 100 massages a week and cant afford to waste all my strength on you. As he was leaning against a sheetrock wall, he taps it with his elbow and continues with, If your muscles are like this and I start to work on you and they still feel like this, theres nothing I can do for you. Keep in mind, this is all before he even starts on my husband. So, now my husband has been told that basically you are not going to get what youre paying for. After his massage, I asked him how it went. I was appalled at what the therapist told him. On top of that my husband tells me that he spent majority of the session on his neck and some on his lumbar. He didnt do his arms or anything else. He even told him his arms had pain, too. He gave a half-assed effort.Within an hour of leaving my husband was limping from back pain and weakness as well as suffering from craps in his back. All the therapist did was loosen one area, therefore causing the other parts of his back to compensate, contract and crap-up. He has now been in pain for 2 days. He called Massage Envy to tell them what happened and that solved nothing. The lady that answered the phone was very nice and apologetic. The front desk staff isnt an issue. They are all very sweet, but their hands are bound by what the manager (male) decides. She proposed that she would talk to the manager about my husband giving them a 2nd chance with a different therapist for the same time and treatments we originally paid for at no charge. My husband told her that he would be willing to give them that opportunity and understands that not all employees do a good job. She called her manager for the approval then called my husband back. The manager said that he would only approve a 1/2 hour session for free. That was insulting!! Thats not enough time to fix a sore neck much less the issues they caused. I spent over $100 on my husbands session and had intended on getting memberships for both of us if his massage went well. The lady we spoke to told the manager that when she spoke with him and thats how he tries to salvage a new client relationship. Forget that (you know what I really mean to say)!So, now hes on his way to a more expensive, private practice here in Santa Fe in order to fix the pain Massage Envy caused and wont fix. Dont waste your time and hard earned money on this fast-food style massage place. At least McDonalds will make your order right at no charge. I will never do business with any Massage Envy ever again and I will tell others about our experience.

Lawrence gives great deep tissue massages. I also appreciate that he makes sure the pressure of the massage is just right for me and that I am comfortable throughout the massage.

Theyre really nice at first so they can sucker u in. They dont tell you the truth until you sign a yearly contract. Then you learn experientially what the honest real deal is or lack thereof. I wasnt told that a 60 min was really a fifty minute massage since there is always a 10 grace period. So your always sitting wondering why the masseuse is never on time. Heres what else they dont tell you. That once your massage ends a few minutes early...the lights gets turned up high so you are no longer relaxed. Even better the masseuse then says ill be waiting for you in the hallway holding water in my hand...so you better get up. Thus creating pressure to get the heck out of the room muy rapido. The masseuse doesnt get paid much so the receptionists pressure you to pay them with an overgenerous tip so they dont have to. The only way to get out of a contract is with a doctors note. Then the door hits you in the bum on the way out and you are instructed never to return because you are now a legal liability to them. Doesnt matter if your injury starts to bother you. Youre on your own. Supporting this company puts local therapists out of work and you are really paying the same price since you are pressured to add a huge tip on top of their supposed cheaper rate. Which isnt really cheaper with tip included. Most of the lmts are not as seasoned as independent lmts in the community. I only found one masseuse I liked and this one was leaving anyway. One tried to cup my neck rather than actually rubbing it for 20 min. I guess he had a nice twenty minute break before his next 2 hour massage. Mind you my neck was herniated. Such empathy and burn out. Really this place is not the good deal that I thought it was. I did have an opportunity to go back for one last massage since the receptionist had forgotten I was a medical liability. But with that I wondered if I really wanted to re-experience this place again with my usual therapist even for one last time. And with that thought, I declined.

Lawrence was fantastic. He was professional, made me feel comfortable, listened exactly to my needs, and provided a wonderful massage.

If there was a way to leave a - star...I would. My husband and I get couples massages here. Tk GOD we are moving out of this town so we can use the membership in a professional environment, were people know what they are doing and not just winging it. I am sure that these are mediocre students doing free externships so they experiment on us. Front desk is absolutely no help. Supposedly they got new manager/owner of this franchise, dont want to be in her shoes, although she might fit right in!

Eva is hard working and wonderful. I had several massages from Eva. Clearly well trained and sensitive, able to listen to clients preferences.

Habiba is hands down the very best therapist. I feel like a million dollars when I leave.

Perfect gift for full time mom (and dad)! But you can only buy their gift cards online and at their branch (?). I tried to look at Walmart before Christmas, but there were none.

My husband and I had a great experience coming here from Colorado. We had two massage therapists who knew what they were doing. It was super relaxing!

Their prices on their web site are a lie, you will pay more. My wife called to schedule a massage appointment and was rudely told that we would have to pay more than the web quote and apparently not worthy enough for other services besides her massage. This business is misleading and rude. There are other places in Santa Fe to go SO DONT GO HERE!!!!
