I had an incredible experience at this restaurant! From the moment I walked in, they had a lively atmosphere, welcoming vibe set the tone for a perfect evening. The highlight for me was the live music – the band was fantastic, creating a vibrant and energetic ambiance that made the night unforgettable. The staff were attentive and friendly, ensuring that everything was just right. The food was 4 out 5, but it was the combination of great music, friendly service, and a buzzing atmosphere that truly made the night special. I can’t wait to come back and enjoy another evening here!(I went on a Saturday night for the live music without reservation)
Been here a few times. In the past we were served by Holly. This time we were served by Rico. Excellent service and the food was delicious! We ordered several happy hour cocktails (the spicy margaritas were the best) and several appetizers. For the main course we ordered the lamb tagliatelle, the lasagna and the ribeye. Everything was awesome!
It was a packed night which is a good sign but could also be very interesting with service. We had reservations but there was a little wait which wasn’t that bad. A drink at the bar helps. Once seated, an outside table, our server Anna was amazing. Very attentive to everything and so appreciative as well. Trying to take care of the other tables as well as us. She was a busy bee but got everything done. She and the other guys was able to get us another headlamp as the one that was utilized next to us ended up being turned down when another party requested it not an acknowledging us one bit. And then the nerve to put a jacket on afterwards because it was too cold. But instead of fussing over it, she and one of the other guy moved an unused heater to accommodate our table. Great service. Starters were amazing, fries are always good. Our entree was good as well but more keen on the starters. Great and fast service, Anna was amazing.
Anna was an exceptional waitress! She has a calming, humble, in-charge vibe. My husband and I had the burger and fries and it was absolutely delicious. I ordered my standard Cadillac Margarita with Reposado tequila, skinny style, and it was perfect. A band started during our meal in the patio and they were excellent. All in all a great experience and we’d definitely come back🥂💃🏻❤️
Spent a few days in Santa Monica with a friend and our teenage sons. Wanted to treat them to a nice dinner and 1212 did not disappoint! Food, staff, ambiance, everything was excellent! I had the mushroom risotto, it was the best one I’ve had outside Italy. Lasagna and ravioli were excellent, great wine list too.
I just adore this place. Great food, great service and lovely atmosphere. My wife is Italian and was astonished at how authentic and fresh the food was. Any Italian place outside of Italy that impresses her is impressive indeed. We went there twice in the two days we were in Santa Monica and will be back again next year when we bring the whole family.
If you want a delicious meal with a great ambience and great service check out this restaurant I was attended by the lovely Anna. I had the filet mignon which was delivered exquisitely and Taste best mignon Ive had in a while. I also got to try the lasagna. I am not a lasagna fan, but this one definitely got my attention.
It was a nice place with a cute little bar area. The atmosphere was nice, playing oldies music (real oldies 40s to 60s, not the now called oldies from th3 90s ha!!)and although we were trying to avoid live music, we enjoyed it a lot!. The male singer was singing Frank Sinatras song and sounded very similar. We were not expecting the burlesque mini shows, but they were enjoyable. It was us with our young adult daughter and wanted to just hang out somewhere. We will consider it again. We had the full order of oysters and the punk hummus with drinks.Spritz was too bitter for me. I have had them in other places that have a little more cinnamon flavor and sweet.
First time visiting 1212, and overall, it was a good experience. Will was our waiter, and he was attentive. I kept it light, so I ordered the 5 for $20 crostinis, the spicy margarita, and El Pepino. My friends got the beef tartare and chicken sandwich.Crostinis - Truffle honey, avocado toast, and smoked salmon were good. The burrata and pumpkin pesto were okay. The chicken sandwich was dry and lacked flavor, and the beef tartare was goo, but could use 4 pieces of bread v. just two.
Everything was good we went on a Saturday the OJ for the bottomless Mamosa wasnt cold. Wish the offered another kind of juice as well but thats something else. Service could have been better for 3 people we spent almost 200$ and had to wave them down a few times and needed to ask for our water to be filled 2 other times and for some more added food we got there at 11:30 stayed until 1pmThe dj played not the best kind of music like why early 2000s? Or is that the vibe for music that is in?
Anna was our waiter and she was the best! Our son had culminated, so we celebrated his accomplishment by eating at twelve twelve. My dad, who doesn’t really like much of the food a restaraunt serves, actually enjoyed this experience. He was also able to get everything that he wanted because Anna made sure that everything was right and in order. I would definitely recommend this to people who wanted to celebrate any of their occasions.
Came here for bottomless mimosas for my friends going away party. The food was great, I had the steak and eggs dish, and the mimosas were plentiful. Our server Miguel was friendly, attentive, and good looking to boot! Great energy! Thank you Miguel! Would definitely come back for group celebrations and/or a solid boozy brunch. Bottomless mimosas were $19 with entree. It ended up being around $60/pp. Everyone was happy with their meals and the service. Would definitely come back again!
Emily was an amazing server! My sister, her boyfriend, and myself came in for some happy hour drinks and food and everything was very tasty. Not on the happy hour menu, I had the espresso martini and it was one of the best Ive had in a while, super dark chocolatey and not too sweet! Overall a great experience and well be back
I went here yesterday with my friend for happy hour, and it was so nice! Russ (Ross?) helped us at the bar and was extremely attentive. When our food arrived, he immediately made sure we got everything we ordered. He also made sure to check in a few minutes later to be sure we enjoyed our food. The happy hour menu is very decently priced and we only spent about $80 between the two of us. We decided to sit on the far side of the bar where the counter tops are lower, and the seats are a little more comfy.I’ll definitely be coming back!Food ratings:Lychee Martini: 4.5/5 (didn’t enjoy the salted rim)Mushroom Arancini: 5/5Chicken Sliders: 4/5 (didn’t enjoy the slaw in the burger)Beef Sliders: 5/5Wings: 3/5 (not crispy enough, didn’t enjoy the buffalo sauce)Fries: 5/5Shrimp: 100/5
My friends threw my going away party here and I had such a great time. Miguel made the experience even better. He was attentive to our table and answered all the many questions we had. Thank you Miguel! Thank you 1212 Santa Monica! This is a great place for a group gathering. This was an exceptional boozy brunch.
We came here the night before our son went to college. We had wonderful food. We loved everything. Donald is one of the best waiters I’ve met. He’s very attentive. Very knowledgeable about the menu.Alexander’s mother, Sabine
We decided to have dinner here tonight after stopping in last night for a nightcap. It’s not as busy as I would expect it to be, but we were there on a Sunday night and a Monday night. We got kind of a variety of stuff mostly off the happy hour menu to eat and every bit of it was amazing. Don’t go if you wanna be cheap, but it’s not terribly expensive. We tried the charcuterie board , chicken sliders, two different tacos, the pear and Gorgonzola salad and had a few drinks and our total was a little less than $120 before a tip. Well worth it in our opinion. We really enjoyed it and we will be back.
Photos; DineLA Summer 2024 - Review coming soon.Previous Review; Early 2023 A vibrant atmosphere with live music that brings the space to life. Their happy hour deals are some of the best around, and the mixologists showcase their expertise with every pour. A go-to for great vibes and even better drinks.
I would consider me and my husband regulars here at this point and we always have an amazing time. We come every Monday night for locals night and grab a drink before watching a movie for our date night. Gaby has been so sweet to us every time weve come, and we recently met Jon who was also so sweet and friendly! The happy hour food and drinks are always on a great deal and taste delicious. Definitely something Id recommend to a friend.
Dined here on Feb 20th. We enjoyed the happy hour cocktails, a few appetizers and entrees. Anna was very attentive as we were indecisive for a bit. The restaurant was not crowded. We were very happy with the arancini,Parmigiana ravioli, wild boar ragu and sliders. They were all delicious. The charcuterie board was shared between 4 of us. The pink hummus and popcorn shrimp were not our favorites. Overall we enjoyed and would definitely return.
This place is DELICIOUS. The server Rico was amazing, so attentive and helpful. He came over so fast with our drinks which were delicious, I got the Moscow mule which has hints of clove tea in it. We got the wild boar tagliatelle pasta which is imported from Italy. Rico recommended we get the garlic bread and dip it in the pasta and it did not disappoint. This place was beautiful inside, clean, great music, great energy that beats anywhere else in Santa Monica.
Music drew us in, even though we had dinner plans. Plan was to stop by for a quick drink and some oysters, but the experience was enough to plan a trip back. Was late Friday afternoon, so light crowd. We opted to sit at the bar, since it was a quick stop. Drinks were amazing. My gf asked for a specialty drink and the bartender nailed it. He’s even planing to add to the menu come spring. Pear vodka, guava, lime something. I just had a dirty martini. Added some oyster just because they sounded good and the short stop became quite the experience. Will be back to try some more drinks and a full meal next time.
The food was absolutely fantastic. I had the wild boar tagliatelle and It was amazing. The atmosphere was perfect there Live music which really set the tone for the evening. The only reason the service isn’t a five star is because the Food came out slightly different times.Three of the meals came together and one came quite while after, but overall the service was great. Would definitely recommend and was a lovely evening
Came here with a friend and ordered a sandwich and a salad. Great to eat if you want to be satiated and not full. Came on a weekday during lunch, so the restaurant was quite empty but that meant that service was really attentive and made sure our water was full. We had no complaints with a food and I especially like the salad even though I’m not the biggest salad person.
I had my wedding rehearsal dinner here in the upstairs private room, and it was good with the exception of a couple of preventable issues. Food service was slow starting, and there were technical issues connecting my laptop to the projector screen to play our video, and getting the sound system to play the music playlist I created on Spotify to play during my event. The staff was clueless on how to work their own systems, so we spent over an hour trying to get it to work ourselves. Thankfully, one of my tech savvy guests was able to get the projector connected properly to play the video we made for our special event. Despite the fact that my guests and I did all the work to get the systems working, the venue tried to charge me $150 to use the protection screen, which I rightfully disputed. Other than that, it was a nice place to have my rehearsal dinner. P.S. we decorated the tables ourselves.
Me and my friend went to 1212 to grab a little bite during our frolick in Santa Monica and the food was most delicious and the service incredible. Our waitress Anna was most kind and delightful to us and made our experience most joyous. The Photo Booth was out of order and we were most heartbroken tho.
10/10 stars!!! The ambiance, the music, the food, the service above and beyond. Special shout out to our server Rico, amazing person, hilarious, hospitable, and had lots great recommendations for me and my crew here from Texas. Can’t wait to come see Rico again and have bottomless mimosas for Sunday funday 🤩🫶🏽
Our favorite was the oysters! Also our server was very attentive and approached at all the perfect moments. She made our dining experience enjoyable. She also went out of her way to give our dogs some water. Very appreciative of her! Thank you Miruna!
This was our first time at the 1212. We didn’t make reservations on a Friday night. It was about 5pm when we arrived. They have an outdoor seating area, a bar area, indoor and some private seating. When you go inside, its two floors with the center cut-out. Youll notice a dj booth/stage. On the weekends, it becomes a nightclub with a cover charge or free for customers who dine in. The staff was very friendly and professional. They sat us down quickly. Our server was Nike. He was great. Super awesome and fun. He shared his recommendations and his favorite things. Very helpful. The vibe is just great! They have a happy hour until 6pm. So for me the food was ok. The other people with me really loved the Sicilian burger with fries. It good with or without the three cheeses. The Brussels sprouts were my favorite thing and the only thing I really liked. I was not crazy about my pear and gorgonzola ravioli dish with a salmon on the side. It was not flavorful. The white wine I had was pretty decent and the mango splash was ok. However, I enjoyed my time there and I hope to come back again to try something different next time. Apparently, there is a pool table on the second floor.
Our waiter, Miguel, provided exceptional service during our visit. He was attentive, friendly, and ensured everything was perfect. We had a fantastic dining experience thanks to his excellent work. Highly recommend! Miguel needs a raise ASAP! 👍
Horrible service, chaotic during brunch time due to bottomless mimosas, and a tad bit overpriced. Our server took forever to take out orders but was quick enough to approach me and mention that I wasnt allowed to bring my empty coffee cup to the restaurant, something I wish they had already told me when we were making our way inside. She also rudely interrupted our friend and asked what she was holding (it was an inhaler),which I found odd but I suppose it was to find out whether or not the item was outside food or drink. Do not come here if you want a nice quiet brunch spot. Food was ok though and the other kitchen staff were attentive to us when our server wasnt.
The atmosphere is so cool and a perfect spot for brunch and dinner. We tried the crostinis and the ricotta honey and the tomato basil were my favorites. The sliders are the perfect size and great balance of flavor. If there is one thing you get make sure to try theAglio, Olio, e Peperoncino! Our server Rico was the best, quick service and helpful!
It takes alot for me to give a 5 star rating but this place earned it, I has the Nonna lasagna and it was the best Ive had, my son had the chicken sandwich with a salad, the salad dressing was great, the chicken was cooked perfectly and my wife had the Sicilian burger and did not disappoint as well. Tristan our server was great answer our questions, his attitude was great, happy and made the visit feel even better than the food. We will definitely coma back to 1212.!!!!!!
Miguel was a great server. This was my first time coming here and I will come again because Miguel gave great service. I felt he was very attentive to our needs. Definitely will come again.
Everything was absolutely incredible, the only thing better than the food was the service. Emily made the night so special. We loved her energy and her humor. She made us laugh through every course. Highly recommend for a special night - or any night.
Donald was incredible. He took very good care of us. I loved the lava cake, appetizers, and dijon chicken. We came in a little bit before closing and Donald took our order fast and was remarkably accomodating and pleasant.
Food and drinks taste great, and great prices! I love their happy hour menu and small bites. Perfect for catching up with friends and enjoying the promenade views. Only downside is the music is too loud to chat without raising your voice and the service is a bit slow, but the food makes up for it in my opinion.
Donald made the difference!!! The place is so nice and the food was absolutely delicious!! The drink Donald recommended was amazing (drunk and famous, order it), and he surprised me with the dessert! OMG and the garlic bread, to die for. The Brussels sprouts made me happy hahaha.... thank you for making my 40th bday unforgettable.
1212 has an incredible atmosphere, and sitting out by the heaters underneath the street lights was wonderful. On a Friday night we enjoyed live music, and generous hospitality from our waiter. This was only after we were eventually sat down, however. We had to ask to change tables after we were sat away from any heaters or lights. I also had to switch on our table light myself, which is not my job. But when our waiter arrived he was very nice and helpful in interpreting the menu. I must say I found aspects of the menu, particularly its language and irregular use of French in parts to be slightly pretentious. When taking our order, the waiter positioned himself such that I had to lean significantly to one side. This was completely avoidable, and just gives the impression that he is not overly careful. Im personally not too bothered, but I know many people who would be. We ordered some Crostinis, and after an extremely short wait it arrived. These were all satisfactory, but unfortunately not as good as I had hoped. I particularly disliked the cheese on the Prosciutto Crudo. But very soon after our starters the mains arrived. I ordered the Lamb Tagliatelle with bread (upon recommendation of the waiter - always a good sign when a waiter is in tune with their menu). The tagliatelle, unfortunately, was slightly underwhelming, and the lamb was overly fatty. Moving onto dessert, however, I enjoyed the chocolate lava cake - a very good end to an enjoyable night at 1212.One final concern before I finish is that the waiter brought the bill before we asked for it. This was well before their closing time. It doesnt matter how many times or how loudly every waiter at every restaurant says absolutely no rush with this, take your time when bringing the bill, the simple act of bringing it gives the impression they need us to leave. Only bring the bill when the customer asks for it.
Had such a good time with my friends. Our server, Nick, was awesome, very tentative and such a vibe. The place was so busy and somehow he always found time to check on us. Ambience was really good house music, the overall experience was on brand.
I went on a Sunday, and for a gather multi generational gathering. The music was excellent but it was loud. We couldn’t talk much, but the teens I was with loved it. The food was excellent as well. I had the lasagna and the others seafood. Everything was very fresh and hot. The garlic bread was $7 but worth it. It was too big for me to finish and it was hot, fresh and the perfect compliment to the to lasagna. My friend had the blackened chicken salad and she enjoyed it as well. I think if you are looking for a place to bring out of town guest, looking for a Sunday brunch spot, want a nice restaurant to visit in Santa Monica, or want to listen to good music, and don’t mind loud music this is a great spot. I will visit again in the future. I hear they have jazz and I would be interested in checking that out one evening.
Unfortunately I had a bad experience here with the food. The menu is small which I liked because it gave me the impression that they are mastering the dishes they offer. I had a hard time deciding so I asked the waitress who steered me toward the Lasagna. She stated “the master chef is Italian and makes a wonderful lasagna.” A few friends ordered other dishes that I also got to try. The lasagna was no good😢☹️. The texture and and noodles were cooked but it’s like someone dumped oregano or some minty spice on accident. The lasagna was completely over powered. To expensive the price just does not justify the flavor and size of these small meals. A friend ordered The kids meal fettuccine Alfredo and that looked huge compared to my small lasagna. Over all after my bad experience I was not happy with any of the meals I tasted. The ambiance is really nice as this restaurant has taken over the corner of the Promenade. The drinks here I do have to say are very tasty. Well done bartender. Lastly the layout and inside of the building was really nice. We also caught the tail end of brunch I believe as someone had thrown up all over the restroom making it very difficult to breath.
Located at the north end of the promenade in Santa Monica. Parking- in the parking structures. Visited on a Sunday for a quick brunch and the upstairs has a DJ and music. Music was pretty loud if you have small kids. Service was pretty good. The food was really solid as well. Wife ordered the sausage plate and I had the eggs Benedict with mushrooms and prosciutto.
Anna was our server, she was sweet, kind, extremely attentive especially with our little one. The food was filling. We ordered the exact same meal to go become we’re leaving tomorrow and won’t get to enjoy it until we come back to California. :-)
Good music! Great food!Something as simple as a Avocado toast looked luxurious with moz and salad on top. Definitely recommend it for some early peppy brunch....apparently becomes kind of a club in the evening.... will go back in the night. It is 21+ only restaurant and card people if you are going inside so pls be aware of the same.
We came to the city for the first time and thankfully we chose this restaurant ;)The restaurant it self was cozy, the music matched the vibe, and the food was so good we didn’t want to leave!Anna was our sever for the night. she was very attentive and her recommendations were on point!Definitely coming back 👌🏻
We had a fantastic dining experience, thanks to our host’s excellent recommendations. The Hamachi Sashimi Carpaccio was incredibly fresh and flavorful, and the Bistecca alla Ribeye was perfectly cooked and delicious. Their suggestions really elevated our meal. Highly recommend! Our host Remus The best wicht i meet ever
Gabby was a star today!! super friendly and on top of everything! Jon also made sure my drink was always full and tasty ;)Great team and great service!
They are a great team at 1212 Santa Monica. The food is great, they do fun things like put their logo on the bread and serve great cocktails. I enjoy their DJ and sitting inside or outside. They make it fun here.
WARNING! FRAUDULENT BUSINESS ALERT!!!Payment system miscalculates and adds hidden/unlisted fees. I recently dined at 1212 with a group of friends for a celebration and, while the food was palatable, the experience brought to light their fraudulent payment systems and shady business practices. While reviewing our bill to split our costs, we noticed that the total was SIGNIFICANTLY inconsistent with the costs, taxes, and tip. We were SHOCKED to find that items listed on the bill DID NOT add up to the total shown, and we were even more surprised by the managements reaction, or lack thereof, to bringing this issue to light. After numerous phone calls, the manager, Theresa, is conveniently “busy,” refusing to rectify the mistake or answer calls asking to remedy the fraudulent charges. Its one thing to make a mistake, but another to refuse to correct it and to scam customers. Theresa continues to be unavailable despite being made aware of these issues impacting their payment systems. This kind of dishonest behavior is unacceptable, criminal, and is intertwined in the fabric of their culture, experience, and staff. It may be unclear to Theresa and 1212, but this issue is embedded in the payment systems, impacting each and EVERY bill. Their lack of attention makes it seem like this is an acceptable practice and that they routinely overcharge customers as a part of their business model.Proceed with caution if you’re considering dining at 1212, but for the sake of an honest, enjoyable meal, I’d avoid it. If you’ve recently dined here, I strongly recommend you review your bill so that your payment provider may rectify it, as Theresa is too busy with her empty restaurant to assist.
Come here for that date or celebration that you hope leaves an impression. It certainly hasn’t left my mind and I haven’t been in a couple years.Grateful that it is still in business.I give it a 12 out of 12 ;)Keep it up!!
We ordered Sicilian Burger and Grilled Chicken Sandwich and both were delicious. Sandwiches come with a side (salad/fries). We ordered fries as the side and it was pretty good. Both outdoor and indoor spaces were great.I gave four starts because the glasses of water were smelly (not sure whether water smelled like rotten eggs or the glass itself).
This whole place has a very original vibe from the unique furniture to the waitresses being able to wear their own style of clothing to the ceiling that has brass lighting fixtures and a disco ball, this place is very appealing. I love the eclectic feel the food was absolutely delicious our service was great there was a live band playing out front. Our waitress Jessica was attentive and polite. I would definitely go back.
Amazing spot in Santa Monica !Dog friendly patio (loud atmosphere though so if your dog is skiddish it may not be the best spot). It’s a great spot for people watching in Santa Monica right in one of the busiest streets. There is a parking structure on 3rd street that’s $2 for 2 hours. So many options (vegan and otherwise). The drinks were on the boozier side so account for that. Service is quick and pleasant.I normally don’t prefer pre-dressed oysters but there’s were actually delicious paired with jalapeños and grapefruit (a nice mix of spice and refreshing citrus). The Brussel sprouts are a must if you love Brussel sprouts. Their salmon and couscous is delicious with a smidge of tzatziki on the plate to dip into. Their gnocchi was perfection (just wish there were more gnocchis to tomatoes).Overall, will be back.Atmosphere is a bit wild / day drinking type and loud so come with that expectation (and make reservations!)
Phenomenal place. Rico is an amazing server, he recommended the Sakurativo cocktail and it was the best drink I’ve ever had. He recommended the Wild Boar tagliatelle to my friend and it was absolutely delicious. I regret not getting it, his recommendations were spot on. 10/10 recommend!
Went to happy hour with my friend! Fantastic happy hour drinks and the fries were delicious. Emily (our server) was so nice and fun, and she gave us great recommendations. Definitely coming back!
Stopped by because of the happy hour sign & everything was so good! Barbara was so good & on top of everything. She even helped us when we had a small issue. The drinks were good & the wings were bomb! Also loved the charcuterie board and the parm fries were so tasty. We’ll definitely be coming back next time we’re in the area!
The food was amazing, but will not return. The service was disappointing. We had to call over our server to put a food order in. The only time we saw him after that was when we had to ask the busboy for more water, and our server came over and said “I heard you all have a request?” We wanted to order more drinks but he never came over to check on us. We eventually talked to the manager, who was apologetic. He comped our drinks and gave us a gift card. That should have been the end, but the server came back to grab our empty glasses and confronted us. He asked how we thought his service was and while we were very uncomfortable, we were honest, and he told us he was busy and didn’t think he had an attitude. No accountability from him whatsoever. There was also a 20% mandatory tip for parties over five, which we felt he took advantage of. Kudos again to the manager, we hope he can find better staff in the future.
The 1212 dining experience was amazing. All the food was delicious, the drinks were great, and Rico’s service was top notch. If you’re looking for a place with fantastic service and even better food, come see Rico, and he’ll take care of you.
It was our first time at Third Street Promenade. Like every first time, we didn’t know where to have dinner.Every customer has a different experience. We’re glad that ours turned out to be excellent. Thanks to Rico for a great service, for being so friendly and making us feel welcome! The foods were great. We had French Loaf (tasted great considering that I bake), Grilled Ribeye Steak (really tender), Seafood Cioppino (not in the menu, lucky it’s their Fish of the Day. I loved this.), Kid’s Alfredo Pasta (simply pasta that my daughter enjoyed), Chocolate Lava Cake (I recommend this for dessert). All served fresh! We’re glad they have outdoor seating and allow pets! Thanks for a wonderful dinner!
Vibes were fire. We went midday and it was great music, great food and…. Bottomless mimosas. Shoutout to Miguel for being 2 steps ahead on every drink!
This place was amazing! So cute, cozy vibes with the best live music and happy hour. Plus Rico was amazing! If you are wondering best place to happy hour and have a time in Santa Monica come here
They have good food and drinks! Awesome vibes! They have a lot of outdoor patio space with a fantastic DJ. They have bottomless mimosas which I have yet to try but everyone around us was having oj with a little champagne. Really fast and friendly service. All the workers are so nice. Food and drinks came out pretty fast.
Went for work lunch yesterday (5/18) and wouldn’t go back or recommend this place. Had one sip of my iced tea tasted like rotten egg, probably because the pitcher or iced tea container had sitting water and wasn’t washed. Servers rarely came back so didn’t have opportunity to inform them. Ordered a burger asked for mustard but they only had Dijon mustard….Crostini’s were good, liked the salmon one but my appetite was ruined with the iced tea.So, slow service, poor cleanliness and sanitation, literally eat anywhere else.
We had the best service today on Mother’s Day.Anna gave us the best service ever.We really enjoyed her service. She made it extra special for us.The food was very nice and totally value for money.I highly recommended this place.
The food is great. I was starving and the lasagna filled my tummy w homemade pasta. I loved dining al fresco on this warm gloomy day. Live romantic music. Our waitress, Anna, was attentive. Gave us our crushed red pepper flakes before our pizza got cold.
Beautiful restaurant, beautiful atmosphere, and amazing service! Rico was absolutely amazing and very fast with his service skills will definitely come back just based off of his work ethic!!! 10/10 recommend this place! Food was absolutely beautiful as well as perfect cooked thanks to the chef! Can’t wait to visit again soon!
Wonderful hip venue in the heart of Santa Monica. My sister was looking for some Saturday night life and she definitely found it here. Music was good, people were friendly and the upstairs bar venue was awesome. It really started to get crowded around 9.30pm. Also, if you go, ask for Sarah Updike. She is an amazing bartender and will mix you up some delicious and imaginative drinks.
Rico is so amazing! When my friends and I come here we try to make sure he is our server. He provides such amazing service, excellent recommendations and top tier vibes! I truly wish I had the pleasure of having him during brunch hours!!! David is also amazing and made sure our experience was off to a great start! 10/10 I recommend stopping by!
The place is a night club at night but we went for brunch on a Saturday. It was very nice and the food was great. It is VERY loud inside with hard surfaces and a DJ blasting music, it would be hard to hear inside. We sat outside which was very nice. The service was excellent as was the food. I would go back. Only issue is that it is in Santa Monica, and there were some troublesome people wandering by talking to themselves right where we were sitting. Lots of young people even at 11 am on a Saturday, dresses like they were going clubbing. The bouncer guy was great and had a funny sense of humor, but the hostesses seemed a bit out of by everyone.
Came here on a Saturday night to celebrate my daughters birthday birthday it was such a great experience with their outdoor dining. They closed the streets and put their dinner tables outdoors with lounge areas and heating lamps . It was such a great vibe. Our server was absolutely great and they have music dancing and DJ indoors with a bar area which was Absolutely great for the night time dancing. The food was absolutely great from seafood to Steak and chicken and the Is cocktails were amazing. They let us bring in our own bottle of Dom Perignon for a bottle fee .
Wonderful Mothers Day Experience, our server Nick, made excellent recommendations on the salmon and wine pairings, took time out when busy to take multiple family photos of us. great food and service, will definitely visit again!
Laura was so great and friendly! Gave us recommendations for places to dance and they have an all hours happy hour menu with affordable prices
Went on a Friday night. Inside as it was a little cold outside. The food was honestly fine and somewhat affordable for the area. $12 for 3 crostinis as an appetizer. $31 for the salmon entree (although the entree definitely needed more salt/seasoning). The waiter was just ok. Had to remind him twice about bringing lemon and he never showed up to ask if we needed something else (I would have asked for salt). The main issue with the restaurant is the acoustic. We could already barely hear each other before the band was playing (outside). But the volume is WAY TOO LOUD for the band (even though they were good and played great songs). This isnt a joke but I could not hear from the right ear the next morning. And its not a club! Just turn the volume down a notch please and Ill happily come back.
Exceptional dining experience! We were pleasantly surprised to find a restaurant to eat at of this caliber amongst the other restaurants along this strip. This restaurant offers a diversity of seating experiences both inside and on the outdoor patio areas. We chose to sit outside despite the cold night air. The heat lamps were perfect. The vibe was upbeat and lounge like. Excellent music and beats filled the air this night. Once seated we were lucky to have Nike take care of our table as our waiter. Nike was so much more than the average waiter. Instantly charismatic and engaging. Extremely accommodating of our requests. Nike was extremely well versed when it came to the menu and the ingredients used and the methods employed in the kitchen by the chef. He definitely had a sense of pride when it came to this establishment. His service made for a better dining experience. Now lets talk food! AMAZING!!! The dishes we ate were bursting with flavor. Perfection. We laughed at our sighs and verbal moans of delight at how delicious each mouthful truly was. We would absolutely visit here again. We can imagine how fun the energy would be to dine here during spring or summer. Do yourself a favor and enjoy an evening dining at this restaurant!!
You need to get the Wild Boar Tagliatelle. The sauce on this is amazing. And Rico’s service was excellent. Great recommendations. He knew the menu. Great for date night.
Had a great dining experience. Anna was our server and did a wonderful job keeping our glasses full and ensuring we were doing well. Greatly appreciated her food recommendation as well!
The food here did not disappoint. I wasnt sure what to expect because it was my first time dining at 1212. I usually dont come here for dinner but to my surprise the Italian menu was very well thought out and portioned to leave you satisfied. The bread is a must! A special shout-out to Rico as he was extremely helpful and gave us terrific suggestions.
Anna was amazing! Her smiley eyes and her sweet attitude along with the great food and atmosphere were enjoyable!
Dinner was amazing but the service was most impressive! We walked in as a group of 9, 25 minutes before closing. Not only ndid they allow us to dine but their service was above & beyond. Our waitress, Anna, was so knowledgeable about the menu and had the most sweet personality. My family and I highly recommend this restaurant!!
I was shocked at the great happy hour deals and could not resist, loved how all of the staff from the host to the server to the manager, was so helpful, kind, and provided great fun energy! Will was my server and he was awesome :)
The food was delicious and the place was very nice. The seems small on the outside but opens up to a large room with modern decor on the inside. The service was good and I made a reservation so I cant comment on the wait. I enjoyed the miss marinated cod and the chicken dijon was very flavorful. The only complaint I have was that the potatoes had too much of the dressing or aoli to my liking. The wine pairings were a great compliment to the dishes and the happy hour special is great too.
They have a GREAT HAPPY HOUR MENU!This place is always popping!Especially during the weekends, so you might want to make reservations. It’s so worth it here. They have delicious drinks and food❤️I posted some pics of my favorites...The truffle was bomb.com !I’d definitely recommend all my foodie friends looking for some good vibes n ambiance.
We had an amazing time at 1212 Santa Monica. I dont know if we just made all the right food choices or if everything on the menu is that banging, but we were absolutely floored by the quality of the food. From the miso glazed popcorn shrimp to the mushroom risotto arancini, from the filet mignon to the wild boar pasta, we ate every last drop and every last bite. We were so stuffed, but we dare not stop eating!A huge bummer of the evening was that I had listed this as a date night on our reservation, and we were seated DIRECTLY in front of a loud booming speaker with live music. We actually really enjoyed the band -- their vibe was nice and chill, and they played some great hits. But it was impossible for us to carry on a conversation. We would have asked to be moved, but we could tell they were having a hard time figuring out seating with how many reservations were coming in, so we didnt intrude. But it was a bummer that there was a table so close to the loud speaker. It was also extremely expensive, which -- the food was amazing, so fair. But the portions were also very small, which made it feel like we way overspent for the experience. But we did choose to get 3 drinks, 2 appetizers, 2 meals, and a dessert, so I dont blame the restaurant for that. I just wish the portions were bigger for those prices!
Loved the outdoor seating at this restaurant, it pretty much takes over the entire space in front of the restaurant. We were looking for a convenient place to eat after a day of sightseeing in the area and this place was solid. Our server was kind and attentive. The food came out quickly. They have these appetizer toast things that you can get 3 for $12 and I really liked them, I got a second order with my meal. Highly recommend if youre visiting Santa Monica and looking for a good meal to end your day. Also the live music was very extra in the most wonderful way. My daughter was a huge fan.
Excellent food and service at our dinner last night. We truly appreciated the service we received from our server, Nike. He was attentive and friendly and did a great job! Thank you to 1212 for providing my family (including our dog!) with a lovely evening.
Happy Hour!! Great way to finish the work week with a delicious Sancerre to start. Followed by fresh oysters ( I could have done without the oil … but I didn’t read carefully)The Hamachi sashimi carpaccio was divine! It was a wonderful combination of flavors and textures ( a repeat!) and the little gem salad 🥗 was a wonderful option to add to our selection for the evening.Wonderful spot to get together with friends or a simple night out with live music.Excellent service … and wonderful ambiance inside or outside.Must come back!
The host was very rude, and the server refused us service even though we had 40 minutes of our bottomless time remaining. We then asked for regular drinks, and the manager refused us as well for no proper reason. All this while a neighboring table was creating a ruckus and we were quietly celebrating a birthday. Disappointed, will not return.
Theres a nice place situated on 3th street promenade, nice music. Were very thankful of the dishes Remus recommended. Also his very nice❤️
Great place. Great food. Very nice ambiance. Our server Rico was pleasant and share stories with us which he probably shares with all his customers, he super accommodating and pleasant. You HAVE to get the mussels AND the garlic parmesan loaf because you will want to slop the broth up!!! Just thinking about that makes me want to go back.
Lovely place! We had nice drinks and tapas. Anna was a great server
Arrived at a very good time as it had not filled up but did shortly after. Staff were very attentive and kind. Food was top notch. Had the chicken sandwich and the pesto was perfect. Blackened chicken salad was also very flavourful and fresh. Prices were along par with most other local restaurants with a more upscale feel.
This was a last minute reservation and what a gem. Obviously a happening place but very quiet when we went. Everything was top notch and though I was with a friend, the atmosphere would be great for a date.
Came to 1212 on a Saturday night to celebrate a birthday. There was live music which was a nice touch. Unfortunately, almost everything was quite disappointing. The service, food and cocktails were all below average and way over priced. The waiter was nowhere to be found most of the night and he had a very sassy attitude. We were 3 people and ordered a small selection of appetizers. Each appetizer is a 1-2 bite tasting. None stood out in any special way and some of them we had regretted tasting. We shared a mushroom risotto which wasn’t bad but nothing special, and each ordered the filet mignon. 1 of the steaks came out cold and basically raw when it was supposed to be medium. It was taken back to the kitchen and then returned overcooked. The other 2 steaks were pretty good but pretty small portions. The mashed potatoes were watered down and had no taste. We ordered 4 cocktails in total, 2 of them were highly recommended by the waiter but non were any good. The chocolate lava cake was quite good. Definitely the highlight of the meal.We tried getting someone’s attention multiple times in order to call our waiter over. No one was of much help.It totaled out to over $350 before tip. Even for an upscale restaurant on 3rd St. Promenade in Santa Monica that’s quite ridiculous for 3 people. If the food and drinks would have been exceptionally good it could have possibly been worth it but it was outrageous for what we ordered and what we got.The place is open late on Saturday nights which isn’t common in Santa Monica. It would be nice to have a good an upscale restaurant open late in the area. Sadly this is not a place worth going. I wouldn’t go back unless some serious improvements are made. The atmosphere is nice and it’s a very large space with a lot of potential. Just need to work on their menu/food and management/service.
Went out to dinner here with my friend and her family. the atmosphere was very welcoming and laidback besides the dress code I did not know about and I accidentally broke it but they didn’t mention anything to me. But our server Nike was super epic. Very engaging and descriptive and told us everything we needed to know about the menu and what he recommended. The prices were kind of up there but not too bad and it was really really good food. If I lived around Santa Monica I would totally come here more often.
Complete rip-off… $9 for a “Perrier” water that appeared and tasted filled from a tap, very small wine glass fill.. We cut our losses after drinks, and headed back down the street for much, much better deal & feel 👎
Our server for tonight was Emily. She recommended the tastiest signature cocktails, and entrees. Her service was amazing, she was very attentive.
This is one of the best places out there for a huge company gathering. We were around 50 of us and they had accomodated us without any issues and it was a blast! The food is awesome and the dessert (tiramisu) is just so yummy!! This is the perfect place for outdoor seating with the fun ambience around!
UPDATE: We launched our new website 1212santamonica.sucks and will be exercising our right to free speech and to warn others about 1212santamonica. We will continue to build it out over the next few weeks. 1212 Santa Monica routinely puts profits over people. Whatever you do, please do not even consider using these guys for a party of any size, they will completely ruin it. We hosted a graduation party there and some of our guests received their food after a nearly two hour wait. Almost every other guest (we had 55 guests) complained that their food was cold. When we expressed our disappointment and dissatisfaction with the management at 1212, they offered us a gift card that is useless to us since we live out of State. Please take my word as a United States Marine, look elsewhere for your dining experience. Simply look at all the negative reviews for 1212 Santa Monica. Furthermore, within the next 72 hours, please Google “1212 Santa Monica” and you will see a new website that showcases all of the unsatisfied customers of 1212 Santa Monica, along with an in-depth profile of the owner of 1212.
The food was great, especially the bread pudding. Anna, our waitress was awesome. Everything she recommended was very tasty.
Bad service from Candy. She needs to learn better customer service and to be a proper waitress. Gave us attitude and wasn’t helpful. One of our group members wanted a gluten free menu, and she kept insisting it was on the menu we were given. It wasn’t and we kept telling her that it wasn’t. She ignored us and kept taking orders from the others. Once she was going to take the order of person that needed the gluten free menu, she proceeded to retract what she said and then said it’s on a different menu. Everyone else has already ordered and received drinks and received their food but she still hasn’t returned with the gluten free menu 15 mins later. No, it was no busy. We started ordering before the noon influx of customers. We are repeat customers and would hate to have this one experience stop us from future patronage.Besides the bad customer experience, food was good. Normally wouldn’t let customer experience overshadow the quality of the food but today’s experience was just unacceptable.Edit: no consistency between bottomless mimosas that were served. Initially looked quite watered down. See picture for comparison. New one was in the jug and is much more yellow. Old one was in the cup.
Awesome ambience! I love just sitting at the bar and hanging out here. Great vibe! Very chill but sophisticated. Happy hour till 7pm. Drink and food specials. Shishito Peppers are great. Poke is good. Shaved Brussels Sprouts are okay. Seafood Risotto is okay. Great craft beers on tap. Big wine selection.
Excellent gnocchi and mushroom risotto. Best I’ve ever had. Anna, our server, was delightful with great recommendations. Would gladly come again.
Anna was amazing! She was extremely quick with our order and gave us multiple sparklers for the celebration we were having. Thanks Anna!
I lovee Donald’s service as a waiter. He was kind, funny, and an all around amazing person. Great food and great service.
We love this place. Really good Happy Hour including a staff that makes creative, delicious mocktails!Shout out to our server Nike who was wonderful! We love to sit in his section every time!
Went for a celebration brunch for two recently engaged friends. I would not call this a restaurant. It had seriously club vibes- there was a toga party in the bar area, and where we were seated inside was SO ridiculously loud I could barely speak to the people seated next to me.I would never choose this as a place to enjoy a meal with others. Thumping techno I’m sure has its place, but it’s not suitable for a 12 noon brunch with friends, in my opinion.Service was also rather poor, gave it two stars because I suppose if insanely loud restaurants are your vibe, it succeeds.Food was very average. See attached photos. Grey lasagne and god knows what that spaghetti dish is supposed to be. Drinks were… the highlight, but after 90 mins I had a headache and promptly left the ‘party’. Disappointing.
Relaxed eatery/bar open late night on Third Street Promenade. Came here on a Monday evening in a group of 6 around 10pm and they were able to seat us immediately. Indoor and outdoor dining available. There’s a photo/video screen by the restrooms in the back (the lighting is good there so take advantage!).They have a normal and late night happy hour. The popcorn shrimp is a must-have. There are some vegetarian options, including the margherita flatbread and stuffed pepper. The chicken wings come to 5 to an order. The fries are thick-cut and have cheese sprinkled on top. The food does take a bit to come out, but it’s all good.
Our server Donald was so helpful, attentive and hospitable. Will definitely return to eat here. Food was delicious and ambience was great!
Great happy hour and fun film photo booth, our server Anna was very attentive and made good recommendations!
The food and atmosphere was nice, but what made the entire experience was our server Anna. She was patient and offered great recommendations. Will come back just because of her!
Our go-to weekly happy hour date night spot. Fave spot in Santa Monica. Great vibe, great drinks, great food, best happy hour, beautiful patio. Most of all best bartenders who we consider our friends/ family now seeing them weekly (sometimes more). Huge shout out to specifically to Julian, Russell, Ryan, Santi, Juan! 🥂🥂🙌🏼🙌🏼. Big shout out also to Assistant Manager Theresa and Isabelle. And thanks to Anna for your amazing service when I came in for a business dinner this week. See you guys Friday 🥂
Was always curious about this place as it was next to my gym and always seemed lively. Decided to come for their Thursday bottomless aperetivo and it was great! The food was tasty and drinks...youll def feel it. Also Rico was our server and he was great!
I recently had a terrible experience at 1212 Santa Monica. When my date and I walked up to the door, we were met with horrible looks from the bouncer. We handed over our IDs to the bouncer, even though we were there to eat, not drink. After we were seated, our server, who was actually very nice, began taking care of us. However, out of nowhere, the manager approached our table and asked to see our IDs again. We complied, and the manager, while polite, explained that the bouncer had reported an issue (despite the fact that he had let us in). The manager said we could stay and eat, but by then, we felt so uncomfortable that we decided to leave. As we were walking out, the bouncer made several rude comments about my date, further ruining what was supposed to be a pleasant evening. The entire experience was incredibly disappointing, and I will not be returning to 1212 Santa Monica.
The food is good, the service is Ok. When we first got there on a Saturday, around 9pm, we sat inside and the live music was so loud we couldnt keep a conversation because it was impossible to hear. Then we moved to a table outside and that was a much better ambiance and atmosphere, then lots of youth alligned to enter the club. So if you are looking for a place to enjoy a nice atmosphere, chill and talk with friends I wouldnt recommend it. But probably for people just wanting to enjoy loud music and meeting people around might be fine. Drinks were overprized and most of the dishes too. The salad I got and my husbands burger were good.
Anna was our server and she has been so helpful, friendly, and kind. We will definitely be coming back and looking forward to spending more time at this restaurant.
Our waiter Will was absolutely FANTASTIC! He took such good care of our party of eight—gave GREAT suggestions for items and drinks to order—and really went above and beyond to make our last night in L.A. so special! He’s a keeper!!!😊
Emily was absolutely amazing! She was so helpful and made our experience really amazing. 10/10 will come back, and can’t wait!
Cute.. great oysters!! Miguel was amazing!!! Full of knowledge on the menu and recommended the Hamachi much I highly recommend!!! Thank you Miguel… you are the best!
Awesome place!! Ambiance here is amazing and so is the service! Definetly recommend coming during happy hour and enjoy the live music. Will be returning for date night!
Love this place!! Been here twice now and Salvo has been our server each time. Absolutely amazing vibes and love how he remembered our names and took care of us. Great hospitality, great bar area, lovely patio, and place for events!
Took forever to get our order sent in. Asked for a high chair and waited 15 minutes before we had to remind them because they forgot. The food was alright and way overpriced. Then they couldnt figure out how to split up the check correctly and ended up charging the wrong people. Took forever just to pay and get out of there. Avoid this tourist trap
The review I would leave for this place is astounding, I have had a great time here and would recommend to anyone to come here. The bread was amazing and was perfect in every way, soft and crisp while also being the perfect texture. On this topic, the sandwiches were quite the meal, being perfectly cooked and using the same great bread. I believe that this place more than worthy of 5 star review and I will be coming in the future . Our server (Nike) was amazing, too, and on top of everything. He got us to our concert on time.
Great experience for brunch here. Our server Lola was great with the recommendations and very attentive to when our drinks were low. Super great vibes!
Always a great atmosphere at 1212 Santa Monica. Beautiful restaurant with tall high ceilings, great lighting, spacious dining area, and an awesome bar situated right by the patio that looks onto 3rd street. If you go during Sunday nights, youll get a great view of people dancing salsa just right outside.FAVS and MUST-TRY: Hanger Steak Churrasco - peewee potatoes, mixed greens, and chimichurri on the side. The steak was perfectly cooked, tender and juicy. The chimichurri added great flavour and rounded out the dish.Garlic parmesan loaf: hard to not to stuff yourself at the beginning of the meal but this bread was just glorious. Great crust and soft buttery inside - bread perfectionOld Fashioned: if you like your drinks strong, this one is for you. Was feeling real nice after one of these bad boys.Moscow Mule: great presentation and super delicious.Weve been here multiple times and the food has always been pretty good and the atmosphere has been phenomenal. Unfortunately, the service has been a miss for both times weve visited. The second time we went, we waited for about 15 minutes for our drinks. The table next to us that was seated after got their drinks before us. It seemed like we found ourselves constantly waiting every time weve dined here.
Our server, Nick, was absolutely awful. Kept forgetting drink orders, was not tentative, and the food took forever to get out. An app came out with the main. Ambience was obnoxious house music, the overall experience is not on par with the price point.
Anna, was wonderful. The atmosphere was beautiful, the singer was lovely and the blankets help me stay warm on a chilly day. I look forward to visiting when it is warmer.
12 12 is a fantastic Italian restaurant in Santa Monica! Everything from the food to the service was exceptional. My server, Salvo, was particularly great, providing attentive and friendly service throughout the meal. I highly recommend 12 12 for anyone looking for delicious Italian cuisine in a cozy atmosphere.
Rico was awesome and attentive. Made our whole party feel welcomed and ensured we had a great time celebrating our friend’s birthday! Thank you Rico and team!
I don’t agree with being charged extra 3% for kitchen and their staff. If the owner wants to improve their livelihood, he or she should pay more for their minimum wages instead of asking customers to pay for them.My boy picked this place and it was good. The waiter is nice and the receptionist is also friendly and courteous. But the service is kinda slow maybe due to understaff or simply taking care of too many tables? And dessert was served without fork or spoon and we could not find out waiter. They also charge extra for kitchen unless your request to remove it.Some of the furnaces are on and some are not. We felt very hot on one side and cold on the other. Tables for 2 are extremely small. Maybe they don’t want us to order more? I don’t know.Food is good, everything is good with just a a few minor glitches.
I sat at the upstairs back bar. Very busy Sunday afternoon. Was graciously greeted by Luciano the bartender. I asked him to order for me and it was perfect the wine with the pasta to the appetizers / crostini. Excellent customer service. Even though he was extremely busy I was never forgotten. Made time for pleasant conversation. I will be back to 1212. Thank Luciano
This venue was excellent for outdoor dining 🍽 and dancing. Relaxed friendly atmosphere!! Waitresses were excellent 👌🏾Food fresh! My only complaint and reason for not giving 5 stars: I had to wait for my ticket download to open (my issue), so I could present it with my ID. The organizer reserved many VIP tickets which I had. The staff at 1212, very polite had me not get out of line... but step to the side while I figured out my ticket. Once I did that, the Security person came over and verified my ticket, but had me get out the line and go in another! Now I believe he concluded I didnt have a VIP ticket! (Really dude! ). If he wasnt being Barney Fife and read the ticket It was clear I had a VIP ticket. Im in the wrong line now, and that staff sends me back to the line I was already in! I go back to Security and he wants to send me now to the back of a very long line now, when he screwed up. You already had your ticket checked without waiting in line! Really? When did that happen? Had I not pressed the issue.... and the original staff who kindly asked me to step aside not detected a problem, back of the line I would have gone; very long line! The original staff person corrected Barney Fife! I was admitted in. Security then apologized. I appreciate the apology at least 🙄 Remedy: Be clear what line is VIP and General Admission. If youre going to let Security check a ticket (not needed ), he especially needs to know which line is which!!!!
Dropped in for a quick drink to watch the game (apparently the biggest screen in SM!) and found out it was happy hour. What a great bonus. The atmosphere was wonderful, the decor is on point and the music was as hip as could be. The staff was so friendly and helpful, especially Juan and Hernan!I decided to have some food and tried the braised pork tacos and mushroom arancini. Wow, they were fantastic! I wasn’t expecting the food to be so delicious. What a great unexpected pleasure 1212 turned out to be. If you’re looking for a nice place to enjoy a drink and some great food after work, this is place is a definite!
I had my sons birthday here and everyone enjoyed the food and atmosphere. Mostly importantly, the service was great! Anna was amazing!
After hitting the pier ended up here and I wanted a drink before I left. Got the bourbon barron which was jim beam, pomegranate, pineapple and orange juice, ginger ale cider tea plus fresh lemonade. With a mouth full of ingredients it was pretty weak drink lol 7.2. I opted for their Okura old-fashioned which is different and made with Hatozaki 8 Japanese whiskey. I tried to get into the old-fashioned drink...but it wasnt hitting for me, especially for the price. 6.8. I mean it was prepared well guess japanese whiskey is not my thing. The vibe of the place was nice music was ok not my type. Overall for me 7.0
We had a wonderful evening enjoying the Dine LA prix fixe menu! Our server Miruna was very kind and attentive :)
Right on 3rd Street Promenade so it’s super convenient to finish off a nice beach day/night out. Alcohol prices are reasonable and the vibe inside consists of nostalgic bops as well as modern party hits.Lots of fog, restrooms easily accessible from the dance floor and have mints outside of them. There are booths that you must pay for/reserve so they’re usually occupied with dudes in tuxedos. The dance floor is occasionally visited by a tall LED dancing robot or an aerial silk female performer. The spot is full of security near the restrooms, overlooking the dance floor, and especially at the front. They use black lights to check your ID so don’t even try with fakes lol. It gets checked about 3 different times. Also there’s an entrance fee! $10 for each person in the group. But yeah super fun spot with pretty large restrooms, reasonable bar prices, nice dance floor & music, and you’ll feel safe there with the facility staff.
I had a delightful experience at 1212, thanks to Annas incredibly friendly and accommodating service. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the food was delicious.
I went there with my boyfriend for dinner ,Its was incredible place, food was very fresh n delicious, service was amazing, Specially Rico who has incedible service n he know his job very well.we will come back for sure👏👏👏
Fantastic brunch! The Brunch eggs Benny and the pancakes are amazing. Our server Jimmy was fantastic. Music was juuuust a little too loud, but the DJ was also amazing.
The food was delicious, and the salmon was my favorite. Anna, our server, was great. I cant wait to go back.
I went to the Super Bowl event at 1212 and reserved a table with some friends. The event overall was fine, but I feel that I was scammed with the cost of reserving my seat. Though I imagine it was somewhere in the fine print, our honestly overpriced reservation charged us additional tax on top of what we were already paying for the bill. I honestly thought that this was a slimy move- I understand inflation, but that was just misleading. Because of that I will not be going back. Food and atmosphere is fine, but for the overall price and my personal experience it is not worth going back.
The ambiance and music alone made for a great time. But the food and service made it even more incredible. Rico is awesome! I recommend the popcorn shrimp and the wild boar pasta.
Miguel was absolutely fantastic serving us today on my batch!! The bottomless drinks were such a great idea
Miguel was our server. He was attentive, friendly and made us feel comfortable. Honestly, that kind of service makes places like this worth it. Thank you Miguel!!!
Me and my friend came for mimosas and brunch and our server Miguel was so sweet and so attentive and was very helpful with helping us with our first time there. Definitely coming back!
Happy hour at the bar is a great deal! Not sure what’s different about their buffalo wings, but 1212’s might be my favorite anywhere
Will was our server and he was super friendly, informative and great staff. Food was delicious we came for happy hour, would come back!
