The Best Day Spa

I had a 60min Swedish massage with Nida today and it was a wonderful and relaxing experience. The spa is very clean and comfortable. Nida was very good! I will definitely return to her and recommend her to friends and family!

This is the 1st bad review Ive ever done but im literally shocked right now. My husband and I went in for a couples massage today. We were so excited, weve been waiting months for this. I had a male therapist and my husband had a women which was ok with us.When my massage started it was ok because the sheet was still over my skin but as soon as he removed the sheet I could feel his nails just scraping at my skin, I didnt want to say anything at first because its awkward but about 10 min in I knew I had to. So I stopped him and he left the room to go fix his nails, he left the door open, turned the lights on and dropped all kinds of stuff 😳 but thats whatever.When he came back I was hopeful that the rest of the massage would be better. But boy was I wrong. His hands were still scraping the heck out of my skin so I was beginning to think maybe he has callouses that were super rough. But I just dealt with it because I didnt want to ruin my husbands experience. My skin was on fire though.So, when he got to my head he was using his sharp nails and scratching so hard I had to tell him to stop bc he was cutting my head and it was stinging. I couldnt believe what was happening. If my husband wasnt there I would have walked out in the 1st 10 minutes.I just got home and showered and my scalp and skin are just stinging and on fire from his nails/ rough hands.As far as the actual massaging part, he had no idea what he was doing. He was moving so fast and abrupt and literally just rubbing oil on my skin and not actually massaging all the spots. I was praying the whole time for it to just be over. It sounds dramatic but thats how bad it was.The good thing is, my husbands massage was great and he was happy. So I didnt put up with that for nothing. I did tell the person checking us out what happened and he just gave me 60 dollars off of a bill of over 300. I didnt give him a hard time as its not his fault and thats probably the best he could do but im just im shock and the experience I just had and cant imagine no one else is having this experience with him.

I liked this place. Easy to find, lots of parking. I was a first-time guest but front desk woman barely acknowledged this, just gave me a form to fill out. Interior has a Hawaiian Island/tropical vibe. Massage room was small but warm and nice. Massage was very good. It had elements of a Thai Massage with stretching, but my therapist said this was needed as I was so tight, which made sense. Pricing seems reasonable. Ill go back.

I have been coming to this great spa for the last 12 years.Gina always fits me in last minute.Her attention to detail for what I want is amazing. She has always customizes my massage experiences! The massage therapists are also fantastic!

I just visited The Best Day Spa for a birthday gift from my husband.. I’m 8 months pregnant and have been uncomfortable the last 4 months.Kat was by far the most sweetest masseuse with strong hands and right touch. I was very pleased my 75 minute prenatal massage was done by such a knowledgeable therapist who has taught prenatal massages previously.She knew exactly where my soreness was in every part of my body- I didn’t want it to end!I’ll be back for sure postpartum! It was my first time getting a professional massage anywhere and I filled out a paper for where I wanted a massage and where I didnt and how much pressure I wanted. That was definitely never looked at by the person massaging me, they were way to rough and hit areas like that that I had Xed off and my shoulders are so messed up I had to call out of work.

Okay. I got the best massage I’ve ever had with Ruck. I needed a deep tissue massage on my hips and learned a lot about my sciatica issues. His stretching technique is the best I ever had as well. Thank you Ruck and see you soon

I love this Spa! They have the best massages, people are polite and they want to make sure you are comfortable. It smells good and I feel amazing afterwards so I recommend 100%!

Walk in and you are surrounded with aroma of essential oils, water fountains, and soothing sounds. They have you state on a body chart where you want them to concentrate on. You can ask for light, medium, or hard pressure. Had the deep tissue massage. He knew right away where I needed help. Do recommend this place if in Santa Rosa

It is no wonder why this is called the Best Day Spa. I needed a reservation for 4 people at the same time with 3 weeks before the date I wanted and no one could accommodate. Anyway, I found this place and loved that they had room for us as well as offered reflexology which my mom really wanted. Anyway, I booked the appts and everyone in our party loved the treatment they received and the service was great too. Neat quiet atmosphere. We will be back. I would love to make it a yearly tradition.

My mom and I went here for the first time and both did the 120 minute green tea massages, mine was with Amy and my moms was with JiJi. We both had an amazing experience! My mom said it’s the best massage she had ever had. I will be back!

Knowing a good massage from a bad one (I have had over 1000 massages). I can honestly say this is the best place in Sonoma County. I have be coming to Best Day Spa for over 15 years (i think). I moved out of state and just recenlty visited after not going for 5 years and they are still just as great!!! I love getting a deep tissue or thai combo massage. Sometimes this is hard to achieve with other places but Best Day has never let me down.

My husband and I had a couples massage here last Saturday and it was hands down the best massage I have ever had and I have had massages all over the world. We walked out there so calm and relaxed and all those REALLY tight muscles were relieved. The ambiance of the salon is really nice and calming. We felt so good that weve decided this is going to be part of our wellness plan for 2023. Make sure to make an appointment ahead of time as they get really busy.

We were able to book a couples massage online the day before and snuck it in just before we head to the airport. The massage was great! The therapists had strong hands and applied good pressure. I love it when they incorporate hot towels and the hot stone for a brief moment as a bonus! Would definitely return if we’re ever in the area.

I got a gift certificate from my kids for a massage. I was able to easily schedule a massage online. My therapist was Sonia and she was excellent. I had a sore lower back and hip due to too much gardening, and she was able to loosen everything up and I left feeling significantly better. Sonia is from Thailand and walked on my back...I wasnt sure about it, but it was great. She incorporated stretching too.The Best Day Spa is close to home, a clean facility...Ill be back. This was an amazing massage! I asked for medium pressure and have not felt so relaxed in years. I worked with Pam and she was wonderful. She moved my body during the massage to get the hard to reach muscles. She was consistent in pressure and checked regularly to make sure I was okay. I feel wonderful. 10/10 would recommend

I really liked my experience here and Sonia is very pleasant to work with. I got a 60 minute full body CBD massage and it took me about 15 minutes of the session to figure out what pressure I was comfortable with. I had not had a massage in a long time so it took me a minute to figure it out. I felt great for days. The CBD was wonderful and they dont tell you off afterwards so that the CBD can soak into the skin and really take effect. The CBD did not have a bad smell like other CBD oils I have used. It was very pleasant 🙂

What an experience!! My expectations were exceeded!! I booked a couples massage for my partner and I not really knowing what I was getting into with a strip mall massage establishment. I really ought to forgive myself for passing judgement before even stepping in the door. My mind was blown from the moment I stepped in the door. Beautiful ambiance! Very relaxing! Wonderful massage. Both my partner and I highly recommend coming as getting services from Best Day Spa will now be part of our monthly date routine. Customer service is outstanding!! I love this place. Made an appointment for 2:15 for my friend and I, but they called 2 days before asking if I could come at 1:45 instead. They said it was so they could schedule another appointment after mine, and I said that’s fine. I came in just 2 minutes past 1:45 and I felt rushed. I just wanted a nice relaxing Swedish deep tissue mix so that they could feel where my body needed the most work. Personally, It felt like a Thai massage mix, and an overall rub down rather than targeting muscles needing extra love. The appointment was going to end right at 2:45 and I said I was surprised and didn’t know I needed to come in early and that my 60 minutes started at 1:45. The massage therapist gave me some extra time thankfully. I explained my confusion to the receptionist afterwards, but she barely looked at me and really didn’t seem to care. She also didn’t ask if I wanted to leave a tip and so I just walked out. I honestly never expected the 60 minutes to start at the time I had scheduled since I need to ready myself before and after. Seems to be a place for 1 massage after another rather than a relaxing space. My friend said her facial was very nice. I got a call from another receptionist afterwards apologizing, but it was an overall mediocre experience when wanting to enjoy a nice relaxing time.

This is a fantastic place. First of all, the staff is incredibly professional and polite, always making sure that youre comfortable. The place makes you feel like youre somewhere else, the ambient sounds were one of my favorite things. My therapist was Joy and she was amazing! I will definitely return!

I booked a body scrub and massage while visiting Santa Rosa for work. I booked it based on other reviews and price point. I was concerned about what the quality and noise control would be like since it was located in a strip mall.I’ve had a lot of massages in my life and my massage here was better than my massage at the Four Seasons.My therapist, Donna, made everything super relaxing. The room was quiet, music was relaxing, and the quality was amazing. Donna made it so relaxing that I fell asleep!Highly recommend coming here and ask for Donna!

I’ve been coming at least once a month for a while. I booked an appointment with a specific person and when I arrived someone else was assigned to providing my service. The first lady said she could only give me a message on my side. Another lady came but the massage felt like more of a pat down then a massage.I left with my back and shoulders feeling the same. I’ve also never had a prenatal massage where someone rubbed my stomach which was kind of weird. I wish someone would have called me and told me the initial person I requested was not available. I would have just cancelled and came back another day.Update: I replied to the owners reply to my original review via email. I have not heard anything back yet

In my 70 years on earth Ive had many 100s of massages by dozens of different therapists. The massages I have experienced here are top notch. Restorative, relaxing, thoroughly enjoyable. 5 Stars!

My experience here was AMAZING! I am from out of state on a girls trip. The massage was different than any Ive ever had, but it felt incredible and I walked out of there feeling younger. We all had fantastic experiences! They even booked us pedicures at a neighboring business.

It was fine! Good massage, not great. Not at all terrible. Ordered a deep tissue but got a.bice mix of tai, deep tissue, stone and swedish. Felt relaxed after and was worth the price. The inside does not look like the outside which was a nice surprise. Not the heat massage I have ever had but it was still pretty good

My girlfriend and I received the royal treatment from the extremely friendly, polite, and helpful staff. Although it doesnt look like much from the outside, the facility is top notch and kept spotless. A hot shower and a sauna relaxed us before receiving an aromatherapy massage in the couples room. Our massages were competently completed by two obviously experienced ladies who also utilized warm towels. I give these folks a strong recommendation.

Tony is really skilled! Very strong and worked out the tension and knots in my back and shoulders. Also great leg, foot and neck work.

Three of us went for massages, and we all three were impressed with how good they were. The next day I recommended the place to a friend, and he was also impressed with his massage. If were in Santa Rosa again, I will definitely be going back.

One of the best places I have been to for a deep tissue massage!!! Ramon is the best masseur! Barnaby is great as well especially if you like Thai combo massage. Tried the Best Day facial special for the first time and I really liked it. I plan on trying the Microdermabrasion Facial cant wait! Really love this place!!!

My chiropractor referred me to this humble little hole in the wall spa in a strip mall near my fav Chinese restaurant (Royal China).Dont be fooled by the location! You are transported into peaceful serenity the minute you walk thru the door! I was pleasantly surprised.This spa is like the calm eye of yin within the yang of the hubbub. ☯️I was in need of a deep tissue, scored a same day appt, and Ruck released tension that felt locked into my shoulders & neck for years.He astounded me by asking if my hand goes numb (I have carpal tunnel but he didnt know), and worked on my shoulder/arm muscles. His knowledge was beyond my comprehension! (and Ive visited my share of spas in wine & weed country)When I left, Ruck said, youll sleep well tonight. He was 💯. My hand didnt fall asleep that night while I slept more soundly than I had in a looooong time.Rucks deep tissue is not for the faint of heart. I have a high pain threshold and it was excruciating at times but he was sensitive to my levels, and I knew I needed that tension out, so I breathed thru it like la maz lol.Quite bruised after, deep tissue not recommended before a sunny vaca but IT GOT THE JOB DONE. Better than lugging around all that pent up stress!!I hope they add CBD/THC massages someday but until then, Ill go for regular visits to keep my tension/blockage in check. I woke up with terrible back pain, I was able to call and get the last appointment that day. It was my first time having a deep tissue massage and they were very welcoming and didnt make me feel like a newbie. I had a male masseuse, cant remember his name, but he was very nice and seemed knowledgeable about anatomy and his pressure and control was excellent and he adjusted to my pain tolerance. He focused on the tight areas I told him about and had suggestions for at home treatment. I felt amazing, a little sore, and very relaxed when I left. Now it is two days later and my back pain is almost all gone. I will definitely go back.

I have been working with a masseuse for several years at a different place but never have been fully relieved of pain UNTIL I went to a person that was recommended at The Best Day Spa. My wonderful neighbors gave me a gift cert to try this place so I asked to use the same masseuse that they use and what an amazing result!!!!! Id say the back end is fabulous but the front end needs a LOT more help!!! Its always busy and things get screwed up!!!

By far the worst customer service experience I ever had at a spa. I scheduled an appointment for my mom as her birthday present. They re-schedule the appointment without my knowledge. My mother call me to let me know that she was on her way to the appointment so I call the spa and the manager Jessica told me that the appointment was re-schedule for the following day. I explained my mother was already there and it was her birthday. The manager was rude and told me she couldnt do anything and I couldnt get a refund for the $200 I paid. I call the same day to make sure that my mom was schedule and the receptionist was rude and was laughing the entire time, very unprofessional staff. I regret the $40 tip. My mom ended up going the following day and she told me that it was not worth the money not the time. I do not recommend this place at all.

Have had great massages here. Love the attention to detail with heated massage beds and heated towels. Hot stone massage was lovely. All staff super friendly and kind.

$90 for 60 min. Thought I was gonna have at least a mediocre CMT trained masseuse. Nope. The service was equivalent to having someone who works at a nail salon that gives foot massages and the boss threw them in the room, told them to try massaging the rest of my body. She didnt know what to do with my back. Everyone once in a while shed find a knot and flick across it in an uncomfortable way to work it out.Staff was friendly and the building is nice.I dont like massage envy, but youll get a better massage there, and thats saying something.

Front desk staff can be hard to understand, and often makes scheduling mistakes, so just be sure your appointment is when you think it is, and youll be good.

Wow! I have sciatica and paraformis issues. As 53 year old Groupfitness instructor I do my fair share of beating up my body. I was in town on business and decided to get a two hour sports massage. I got Ramon and was so pleased. He was amazing and really knows what to do to elevate pain and other muscular issues. I personally like to be beat up by my massage therapist. Ramon didnt disappoint. Probably one of the strongest and firm massages I have ever had. Felt like it was a bit of a workout, but he incorporated stretches and firm deep tissue massage. Hes not for the faint at heart or for people who want to just relax and zone out. You need to be present and work with him as he gets at the issues that ale you. Very professional and friendly staff. If you are an athlete and suffer, I would highly recommend Ramon!

On a rainy day, I decided a spa visit was in order and was able to make an appointment for a body treatment and facial. The sugar scrub was amazing and left my skin super soft and exfoliated. Then, a Clinical Facial with Theresa; and that was probably the best facial Ive ever had. Theresa knows her products and is really fun, while being a pro. Im looking forward to going back!

I visit this spa every 3 weeks for a fantastic massage from Tuo. She is a charming, pleasing person who has wonderful energy and strength. I consider massage as a part of both my physical and mental health - for a very reasonable price.Gina is usually at the Spa and I find her to be as fine and pleasant as Tuo.I cant wait for my next appointment.

Karey is so wonderful. She checks In to see if you have any issues and where she can help. I had a long car trip over the weekend and she found all the problem areas. She’s the best! I recommend her 100%!

Have enjoyed couples massage multiple times and brought my mother from out of town to have a microderm abrasion facial. Our favorite local spot with excellent customer service and a beautiful environment. Make sure to use complimentary sauna after the massage.

Tou gave me a phenomenal massage today! She worked out a ton of knots and I was so relaxed when she was done I almost couldnt find my way home again! I cant wait to return another day.

This place is awful. Dont go here. Their front desk staff is incompetent, and the owner cant be bothered to help resolve issues. They used to be good but theyve gone way down hill. There are MUCH better and cleaner places in Sonoma County to go.
