Les Ciseaux Salon and Day Spa

My daughter asked to have a mommy and me mani/pedi so when we ventured over to St. Armand’s Circle, we hoped we would find a place to be able to accommodate us. I asked a saleswoman at the Tommy Bahama shop across the street and she referred us to Les Ciseaux. As we ventured up the charming staircase to the second floor of the shops then entered the front doors to the salon, I was immediately created with smiles and genuine politeness. Customer service was top notch! We were able to book appointments, together, for an hour later. So we ate a quick bite then headed back to have our pamper. My daughter is young, almost ten, and wanted tips put on her nails. I was hesitant because I don’t get my nails done. But Paola took such great care of her and her precious hands. She was engaging and talked with her the whole time, she’s not only amazing at her job but also just a really nice person. Paola listened to my daughter’s idea she had for our matching manicures, and brought it to life. She made my daughter’s day! Adriana provided my mani/pedi and although I opted not to get tips, she was able to get my nails looking just like my daughter’s vision. Again, I never treat myself so I trusted Adriana to choose my toe color and I am in LOVE. The manager even came over to snap a few pictures of my daughter’s nails on a pretty background, which made this time even more special for her. I can’t recommend this wonderful place enough. And it was pristine; not a spec of dust or dirt for the eye to see. Take yourself and the other loves in your life to this salon and get a memorable experience together. Went on vacation and decided to get my hair makeover. A full highlight and cut and style. Best place I’ve been to in a longtime. Cammie took her time gave me a 5 min consultation and discussed all my wants and concerns. The staff and stylists were all so professional and chic . Very kind and lots of great energy in this salon. I love Les Ciseaux! Dawn (the owner) has been my hair stylist for almost 20 years. Paola has been my nail specialist for over five years. To say I am a selective person is an understatement. I wouldn’t trust my hair and nails to anyone else!

My mom, sister, and I had a luxury pedicure here and it was FANTASTIC! The staff was so kind and easy to talk to. They took their time on the pedicures, spoiled us, and even provided mimosas and champagne! If you are on Lido Key or even Sarasota for vacation or looking for a place to become a regular, this is the place! If we are ever back in the area, we will be returning!

Sidney Amerson has been my hairdresser for several years now, and she has never once failed me. I just love her! She is an excellent hairdresser and a lovely person. Amazing Salon, everyone is so kind and patient! I have extremely thick hair that sometimes takes almost twice the amount of time to cut and style. Elizabeth Caruso has been cutting my hair for a few years now and I’m always in love with the results!! I love experimenting with different lengths of hair and Elizabeth has styled my hair from when it was hip length all the way to trying styles as short as chin length. Even with the variety, every cut has looked so beautiful. She really takes her time and is amazing at cutting my type of hair. I couldn’t recommend her more especially if your someone who also has thick hair like me.

There are not enough ways to recommend Britney Pressman! She is the absolute best on every level. A true master stylist, with more than 15 years of experience - her work is exceptional. Brittney takes her time to understand exactly what you are looking for and then makes sure she delivers on every single strand of hair. She is a perfectionist. Be prepared to be in the chair for a minute & also for the mass of compliments on how great your hair looks when you leave. I hadnt been really happy with my hair for several years and needed a bit of corrective color when I first met Britney, she was so humble about her skills I was almost a little nervous - but my hair came out looking and feeling 1000x better than what it was before - and has continued to get better every time I see her. She is a blonde expert, but Britney is super particular about everything, so any cut, style, color or treatment she touches is going to be perfect!! Highly recommended!

The place is very nice , clean , professional and accommodating. The stylist (Maria) that worked on my challenging fine hair did an excellent job. I’m especially pleased with their overall customer service thanks to Dawn the salon owner and charming receptionists. Dakota has a very healing touch. She gave me a body treatment and an amazing facial. Thank you all for your friendly and professional service.

Follow up: the managers called and asked if they could make things right and apologized for the situation. I was impressed and am considering returning for a complimentary haircut they offered along with returning my payment. I hope the restyle will be complimentary and easy to care for. Thank you for your consideration.It is the worst haircut I have ever received. Shorter than I wanted. The cut does not resemble the photos I brought for examples.

Highly recommend. This place was fabulous! They had everything ready for our wedding party when we walked in and everyone was so nice and complimentary. Beautiful makeup and updos for all 4 of us! Could not have been any better.

Love this salon. The front desk is friendly and efficient. All the stylists seem like they are happy to be there. Brittany is great at cutting my thin, fine hair in such a way that I don’t have to spend a lot of time on it to make it look nice.. She also found the right dark blonde shade of color that is flattering. Highly recommend Brittany and this salon!

One of the worst hair experiences of my life. The girl that did my hair acted like she had no clue what was going on, I was lied to about the cost, the lady working the desk was snarky and rude. If your looking for a salon that makes you feel welcome stay away from here.

My daughter and I got the luxury pedicure. We both enjoyed it. We called and scheduled ahead so we could get pedicures at the same time. They do take walk-ins. Their location is in St.Armand’s circle. They are above the Columbia Restaurant so you’re likely to miss it if you don’t know where it’s at. If you’re looking for a good pedicure place this is it. They have other services as well but we always get pedicures when we’re in town. It’s worth checking out if you’re in the area.

I had another great experience with Dawn at Les Ciseaux Salon today. I am a natural red head, so when I started going gray, I really was worried that no one would be able to match my natural color.Did I mention that I also have waist length curly hair? So 3/4 is natural and 1/4 had to be dyed to match, plus any new growth.I tried a few other places with no success.Then I found Dawn at Le Ciseaux. She has done a wonderful job every time! But wonderful, I mean I look totally natural.The place itself is light, airy, beautiful and meticulously clean. Everyone is gracious and welcoming and knows their job.I have back issues and cannot stay with my neck back for very long. The amazing Maria washes out all the product so gently, I never have a problem.

Went in with my specific highlight and lowlight formula and was assured they could do it.....came out with the hairdresser telling me she decided to go lighter after she had finished. Sidney is fantastic. She actually listened and did what I asked her to do with my curly but fine hair. It is pricy, however if you have had as many bad haircuts as I have, then You are worth it.

We came in and my mom wasn’t added to the appointment like she was supposed to be, BUT NO WORRIES because they were immediately accommodating and made it happen. Le Ciseaux salon continues to provide professional and technical proficiency!Everyone here listens and is invested in making you look and feel your best. I have been Dawns client for more than 9 years, but I’ve also had hair extensions with Satchi, color and cut with Ann, blow outs with almost everyone else-they are a team. Facials with Moneer(?) and I’m a mani-pedi client as well. Permanent makeup and lash extensions .I won’t go anywhere else.Their prices are the same or better than other salons in Sarasota, but it’s a one-stop shop for all that I need/want with friendly professionals.

What a great salon! I had Brazilian Keratin treatment done by Stacy. Im used to my keratin treatments not lasting, but this time its been over 3 months and I can say my hair hasnt looked this healthy in years. Not only was Stacy professional, she was a pleasure to deal with. I recommend this salon highly, its in a wonderful location and the staff is very nice. Les Ciseaux is always my go to in Sarasota!! Ive had various services here, and have been thrilled with all of them! All the ladies are wonderful and knowledgeable. Moneer gives world class facials. Alisa and Eda give me the most amazing massages Ive ever had! The ladies at the front desk are extremely gracious and very accommodating, which is so refreshing.

I moved to Sarasota last December and I’ve struggled to find a stylist. I have tried 6 places....I have now found my salon home! I absolutely love the service at Les Ciseaux. My stylist is Dawn. She goes above and beyond to make sure my hair came out perfect and to my liking. I highly recommend this salon!!!

I recently visited Les Ciseaux for a mani/pedi with my friend, on vacation. Friday, 3/26. We were seeking a relaxing, luxurious, spa experience and were not disappointed! I lucked out and was immediately greeted by Paola. We were a perfect match! We immediately clicked. She was happy, warm, welcoming, and she has absolutely gorgeous hair! I was offered a variety of drinks, I chose an herbal iced tea as I settled into my pedi chair.I am generally a barefooted person, so she had her work cut out for her and didn’t flinch. She scrubbed and massaged and exfoliated up to my knee. She took her time with my toes and I chose a neutral shellac polish. I will never ever not use shellac, I absolutely loved it. Even now, almost 2 weeks later, my toes and feet look brand new! After, my pampering, I slipped my Birkenstock’s back on and moved to the manicure area. Conversation with Paola was easy, she is very personable and kind. She’s a fellow cat mom :) She resides in Sarasota, a long-time dream, but is a native of New Jersey and was well versed with local info. We talked about all kinds of stuff, and again, she worked her magic on my working hands and I feel brand new. I will be back in Sarasota soon and plan on visiting her again! I highly suggest meeting Paola Herrera, she is very skilled and such a kind and genuine person, a true asset to the spa.We also got massages this day and went to a different spa simply due to timing. Sadly, it was a total disappointment. I didn’t get to try the massage at Les Ciseaux, but the massage area is lovely and inviting. I will also be trying massage there on my next visit!!

Last August I had a destination wedding in Bradenton Beach, Florida and my bridal party, my mom, my husbands mom, and myself went there for our hair, make-up, and nails, and had a wonderful experience. I am in the process of moving to Longboat Key and will continue to go to them from now on. They are great there and I am so grateful to them for helping to make my wedding day perfect!

It’s been my 3rd time I serviced myself. Its pricy, I’m okay to pay the price but the service and the attitude of the staff was poor! It took them 2 hours to remove the acrylic nails and they charged $30! What a ripoff! It’s not my fault that they don’t know how to remove Acrylic nails! Over priced and poor quality! Never again I will come back!!! I’m going elsewhere!!!! Not friendly!

Right above Columbia Restaraunt on St. Armond circle, this is the day spa you want to hit. Run by a beautiful English woman, Andrea, they will take great care of you. Jenny did my acrlic nails, and no they were not plastic tips: sculted acrylic which were beautiful and my pedicure done by a lovely young lady, all gorgeous and heavenly. Just what you need for that finishing touch. I did not get my hair done here but if Id needed it done, I would have.

I was recently there on vacation Jan. 5, to have acrylic fills. Obviously the lady who did it (cant remember her name) was bad. The very next day one came off. I went back and she fixed it, no charge, but two days later two more came off. She does not fill properly. They charge way too much for this poor service.

Completely unprofessional - I just moved to Sarasota from NJ and had an experience I never thought I would have - I was notified less than an hour of my appointment time that the woman scheduled to do my service would not be able to do so at the scheduled appointment time (an appointment made 9 days prior) and was told she would be in nearly 6 hours later. For those of you who have busy schedules or perhaps any schedule at all this place is not for you.

I went for a Brazilian; the service provider could not remove the wax without EXTREME pain and ended up shaving the area instead!I also had the same person a day or two before give me a LAST REFILL that was poorly done.I won’t be returning to this establishment in the future.
