Her space is open and bright giving a calm, safe atmosphere where you can truly relax. Not like many massage rooms where it’s closed in and dark. I went to Diane Lane for Lymphatic drainage. It was a really wonderful experience. I have been experiencing some really crazy health issues and it definitely helped to relieve some of what was going on. I’m here in Sarasota working as a photographer on an 8 day project, a very physical photo shoot. The first day my crew noticed I could not stand up straight due to back pain - everyone was asking me how I hurt my back? It was that obvious....Someone on set recommended Diane for a good massage. Without question I called and made an appointment. I saw Diane yesterday and had amazing massage. After she managed to get my body to relax and got me look warmed up she did some stretching which released my back pain and gave me such relief! I left her office feeling 5” taller, very relaxed and feeling great! I highly recommend Diane for massage! I’m going back for another their visit in the next couple days!

Diane is a gifted massage therapist. I found her through on-line research and reviews when I relocated here last year. Specifically I thought her on-line video, which explains her technique in detail, was very helpful and reassuring in preparing me for what to expect. Prior to living here I typically sought out deep-tissue massage to relieve soreness from work and workout related aches and pains. Diane (as she explains) works slowly and it helps her get deep without the pain I used to endure with other deep-tissue methods. I feel the relief as the massage is taking place and then after as well. What impresses me most about Diane is her passion and commitment to her work- when I aggravated an old shoulder injury and was really hurting, she went out of her way to accommodate my schedule and I felt immediate relief. I highly recommend Diane to anyone looking for an effective and relaxing massage experience.

We were in town for just a few days and Diane got us in for a relaxing couples massage and accommodated our schedule. An hour massage was a full hour (not 50 minutes like some places)....Massages were relaxing and a great addition to our vacation. Thanks Diane!

A unique massage experience, Diane has extraordinarily sensitive fingers with which she found those places where I unconsciously carry tension. using light stretching and joint movements combined with continuous massage of affected muscles she relieved various pains and tightnesses I typically ignore. this she did without asking me where to focus.

Extremely disappointed when Diane texted me at the last min to tell me to wear a mask!! What??? Rude about it! I had made all these arrangements and almost there! I didnt have a mask because I just got a covid test to see my mother in a nursing home and it was negative!! So if she was SO worried SHE should be wearing one! Did the Couples Massage workshop, and it was AMAZING! Weve been massage fans for a long time after car accidents got us hooked, but learning to do this ourselves was great! The session had champagne and chocolate, so how could you go wrong with that? Seriously though, while we certainly didnt learn everything there is about massage, and dont claim to be massage experts now, we learned enough to really get something out of it, so we can enjoy a soothing massage on each other after a tough day or just for fun. Would HIGHLY recommend this!!!

The office was nice and the massage was very relaxing. However I wanted deep tissue more therapeutic massage. It was just a very soothing massage. Which is great for that. So Im giving 3 stars because I paid 150 for a 90min deep tissue. .. and received a very relaxing soothing massage. Also she wiped my hands and feet off with a cold cloth....not sure I liked that as an end to the massageMy response to her response 8/11/2019Mrs Lane,After Reading your response to my review I feel I should clarify a few things.1. during our consultation we ruled out Kriya as you explained it is a philosophy of intuition. We both agreed deep tissue is what I needed.2. I didnt mention the pressure because you never asked me how the pressure was. Its wrong as massage therapist to assume the pressure is exactly what your client likes. At least ask once... How is the pressure? It would be great if we knew exactly what each client needs without asking....but we dont .3. Your 99.9% different approach to deep tissue. Its not deep tissue. Its a firm soothing massage at best. Which technically makes you just like 99%of MTs who claim to do deep tissue..but dont deliver.4. We both agree that I needed work on my back. In this section I will explain in detail why I found your technique lacking. I was snoring but I wasnt asleep. I had to breath with my mouth because my sinuses clog when I use a face rest. Another thing you assumed wrongly.You started my back standing on a chair. This was nice your pressure was increased however sadly this only lasted for 3 or 4 full back strokes. This was followed by unspecific effleurage .While you did use your elbow about 2 times on each side of my back with a stroke starting @ PSIS and moving up toward my shoulder. This was the part that annoyed me the most. You worked the lateral edge of my paraspinals. Which basically feels like your so close to the area of the back that needs help but you never touch it. Of course working lateral to the paraspinals you will never palpate the Lamina grove which is the exact point of the back I needed worked on. I was visualizing these points of my back , thinking please paraspinals ! Please lamina grove! Thats the worst.Again you didnt read my mind.The leg massage again very relaxing.Although the most enjoying part of massage was when you work on the flexors in my arm. Your pressure was deep and I enjoyed that. I should mention you did this when I was face down and sleeping.In conclusion Im sure their will be people who say I should just have told you. However If my massage therapist isnt even interested in my comfort level with the pressure, Im sure they are equally uninterested in me instructing them how to give a massage during the massage

Diane is the best. The best night sleep that I had in along time. I see her once a week. Wouldnt think about going anywhere else.

As far as Im concerned, shes the best MT in Sarasota. She has a wonderful studio, an easy to find location, and great parking. She never disappoints, always a fantastic experience.
