While wandering the streets of Savannah, I stumbled upon the Tree House and was drawn in by the music coming from upstairs. Deciding to check it out, I found myself enjoying some great tunes on the balcony. The staff was friendly, and the beer was cold, making for a perfect combination. The atmosphere was lively and welcoming, creating an enjoyable evening. If youre in Savannah and looking for a spot with good music and a great vibe, the Tree House is definitely worth a visit!
Me and my friends came here two nights in a row, strictly because of the dancefloor and music. Other bars werent quite as hype or busy because we visited during the week, but this one was fun and had good music. I will say, there were a lot of creeping middle aged men there on a Tuesday night, and it was hard to get away since the bar is small. The second night was better and there were more younger people.
We came here strictly to dance and drink for a friends birthday weekend. Music was awesome. Still surprised about the heavy usage of plastic straws here that is honestly just wild, especially being so close to the coast. I agree with what someone else said about bartenders attitudes, in general, not being great-- but Malachi was awesome though!
I actually like the design of the place a lot but the service is easily the worst when it comes to getting a drink. Ridiculously slow, bar staff isnt rude or anything but theyre just so slow and act like they dont want to be there. All the prices here are insane as well as a cover charge. Also if theres a shooting it usually happens here. Always seems be a problem here.
Have to pay $20 dollars just to get into a bar not even a club, not the best place to go, most of the side bars in Denver Co were better than this place
The DJ and the vibe were perfect. Everyone danced and spoke with each other. It was a lot of love. Plus it was free to get in.
Over price bar not a fan spend $20 just to get In and pay $15 for 1 cheep beer for $35 I could of gotten 24 beers the bar has no live music on a Saturday night no lights or dj no pool tables or shuffle board worse then a dive bar you think charging everyone $20 just to get In they would have some entertainment but nothing
Bathroom’s are horrendous, African American Bartender was very slick, watch your credit card info. Drinks are sweet and there’s a lot of dust above your head, if you look up.
2nd level dive bar. Expect exciting and unique drinks, kind people, sticky floors, dirty bathrooms and minimal seating. Unpretentious works for this spot, so don’t come fancy. Perfect for a drink with friends and some live music. Great view of City Market.
Amazingly. As if the gods of all that is unsanitary and obscene deemed it so. This place.... is the same when youre drunk and its packed as it is when its empty and youre sober. The floors are always sticky. There is always loud obnoxious army guys drinking. The service is always slow.5 stars for consistency!
I’ve been to this bar maybe 500 times and it never ceases to amaze. Door staff is super friendly, as are bartenders, not the stuck up kind you get at times. Drink are great and cheap. Atmosphere is great but you’re not allowed to do coke in the bathrooms. Bummer, I know. I recommend orange Dreamsicle shots.
I had a random night of fun in here. Walking the streets of Savannah and wandered in. The music was good. I like that they have 2 patios overlooking the street and courtyard. The crowd was having fun, lots of dancing. Free entry which is a plus and I think they are open until 2a. Crowd was young but it wasnt any trouble, everyone just there for the good time!
Great place to go for a good time in Savannah Ga. Would definitely recommend for a good time out on the town. The atmosphere is usually pretty awesome. It doesnt really have too much room so if you are an anxious person I would not recommend. Drinks are reasonably priced for the atmosphere. Dress code is laid back. You can smoke outside of the porches. Could improve the bathroom situation. Bathroom is right on the dance floor and were trashed.
This a nice chill and fun club to let loose. They have good customer service, detailed decorations, and good price drinks. I go here every weekend, and it never disappoints me. They have e live music and a dj around midnight time. The 2 balconies give you some good views. I had good memories here and I highly recommend it. Ive been to a lot of clubs throughout my years, and this club brings you good vibes and good times.
Security at the door really made me mad when he started bending my id back and fourth asking me if its fake making me tell him how tall i am, acted rude as heck. And then went thru my purse which i know its his job but he was asking me “are u sure you dont have any knives on you”? Made me feel extremely uncomfortable. Went thru my wallet to and was touching my cash. So unprofessional. They are much better bars around this area, would not recommend going here. Trashy place
Went in and had a fun time, good drinks, good vibe, but had a few patrons give dirty looks to me. Not quite a queer friendly place.
What a blast atmosphere is live within band always performing
Overserved my son who immediately got a dui and then charged his card for hundreds of dollars on the same night. Please let me know when you have an actual phone number so I can try and get my son’s money back.
Even the place is small, they have Good atmosphere especially if you like live band. The bartender is super nice. They selling varieties of unique cocktails that you can try.
The drink menu is hilarious the names for some of the drinks.. if only. Cool spot live band that played out on the porch area. Only thing I wasnt a fan of was how sticky the floor was its like they havent mopped in long time
Great bar and great atmosphere, stayed to the wee hours
This is one of my favorite bars to hit when Im in town. The drinks are good, bartenders are quick, the DJ always has a great playlist and its a good mixed crowd. Highly recommend to anyone wanting to go out to drink and dance.
Didnt eat just enjoyed the atmosphere and music
Its always a vibe! Music is always on point and the bar staff is amazing!
A group of us went downtown for my bachelorette trip which only happens once. We got through the bouncer with our ID’s and the bouncer was really eyeing us not really believing that we were 21 and older. One of the girls in the group was the last in line to get checked to go in. The bouncer handed her ID to several people to see if it was real or not. Which is totally fine, he’s just doing his job. However, the bouncer ruined her ID by peeling the protective layer off making it invalid. This is government property and was a real ID. He told our group to take it up with the officer. So we did. The officer validated that it was real. Unfortunately the rest of our trip was ruined because the ID was now invalid. We went back to the bouncer and he was extremely defensive and we never even got an apology. Overall this was handled extremely poorly and could have been avoided. If the bouncer suspected it was fake maybe he should have walked 50ft to the officer instead of ripping it. As the bride to be, this was the worst thing that could’ve happened because we couldn’t go anywhere else all weekend for the trip. Very sad. Now my friend has to pay for an entirely new ID which is unacceptable. Don’t recommend this place to anybody🤷🏼♀️
Ask any local, and you’ll quickly learn you should avoid this bar at all costs. Last person at the bar, accidentally forgot my phone on the bar top. Turn around to go get it, and suddenly it’s not there, despite FMI tracing it to the bar. They’re known for stealing left behind items, drugging patrons, rude management and the occasional shooting. 0/10 do not recommend.
Broke our friends out of state ID, validated the friends ID via a police officer and the bouncer told us he wasn’t obligated to pay for the new ID, asked to speak to a manager, also denied our request for the establishment to replace the ID. Unacceptable. Filed a police report. Weekend ruined because unable to replace ID from out of state…
Came here on a Saturday because we were intrigued by the music playing outside. Unfortunately it was the bouncer playing his own jams outside to get through his shift. Nevertheless, the cover was about $10, which isn’t bad at ALL. And the DJ was playing early 2000s hip hop/hits. Crown was live, everyone dancing, if you’re not into dancing the balcony has more chill vibes and a view of the city market plaza. Drinks were okay, kinda sugary, as expected the bathroom was gross, but there is someone guarding it which is good piece of mind and safety. Bartenders were friendly, the other patrons were all having a good time and just good vibes (I hate when you get somewhere and everyone’s a hater). Highly recommend for a fun Saturday night out.
This place is the absolute best if you wanna go and just have a great time. Love, loveeee the music they play. The 2000s rap and songs that you can dance and sing along to is the best. The bartenders are super friendly and love that they get into the atmosphere by dancing and getting personable with their patrons. Keep up the great job!
Great place in City Market! The bartenders are always a blast to watch and last night the band was good. A little loud, but some like it that way.
It was a nice place. My only complaint is I only got three drinks and paid $60. Downtown Charleston is way more cheaper compared to this place.
I will put 1 star because i cannot put anything less than that. While the music was great (specially the live band) the service was absolutely awful! DO NOT ASK FOR ANY MIXED DRINKS, the bartenders do not know what a shot of alcohol is, i was sipping on cranberry juice…. Not only that but when another person there called them out they kicked him out!! So me and my friends made a decision to leave and go elsewhere. Don’t waste your time coming here….
Great bar with super friendly service and great atmosphere. Definitely coming back!
This place is a “must go to” in Savannah. They have the perfect space for inside and outside partying. The bar is pretty huge w multiple bartenders, so the wait is never usually long. The DJ is always on point w diverse music that everyone loves. Security is always present, so you’ll definitely feel safe. Kudos to Jeff for operating such a great place to party!!!
Had a great time!! Wonderful, speedy service with a smile. I lost my phone the night I went and not only did they hold on to it for me, they even charged it for me so that it wouldn’t be dead when I picked it up. Incredibly thoughtful. Super sweet staff! And whoever is in charge of responding to questions on Messenger, is also really awesome. They responded quickly and were so helpful. Thank you to the entire staff. You guys rock and I’ll definitely be back when I’m in the area.
This is a cool location. Very small. Touching shoulders small. The outside balcony is a plus to be able to breathe if you ar a claustrophobic. Other than that drinks were great, music was good, and bartenders are fast!
I will NEVER be coming back here. I have never been so disrespected in my life. The bouncer was extremely rude and condescending to our group. If you’re looking for a good time in Savannah, look elsewhere. College bars are more sophisticated than this place.
Went here for a bachelorette party and had a great time. The DJ is great, the dancing is fun and they also have a band earlier in the night. Had two local beers here and enjoyed them. Looking for a club to dance at, fun drinks and want to try a local brew go to the tree house.
Its a fun place, kind of a dive bar though if thats what youre into. Usually have live music or a DJ. Can be a little grungy compared to the more upscale options nearby. The staff isnt the best, but there are so many great places nearby that really set the bar high. All-in-all its a fun stop if youre bar hopping the City Market neighborhood.
Pretty good music selection but my midnight it was pure rap music. The DJ was alright but his transitions sucked. The orange creamsicle shot was delicious
Bartenders are great but I had two women (on separate instances) basically threaten me into buying them drinks or giving them cash. One said I broke her nail, the other said I spilled her drink, neither of which was true. This place might look fun, but it isn’t worth being bullied into buying strangers drinks just so their friends don’t jump you. If you’re a group of cute girls, avoid this place or the clientele will rip you off too!
Super cool bar with a view of the market place. Get ready to climb some stairs but the view is worth the trip. The night we went we had a great server , good drinks and great love music!
In and out had 1 drink. just ok.
Visited the Tree House with coworkers during a seminar. Great atmosphere with a great vibe. Bartenders were great, and drinks were good. The DJ had this place feeling very much alive, and on a Wednesday night to boot! Great place to visit during a Savannah trip. Will be back!
Good stop that likely has live music or a DJ. With that. the dance floor is definitely used. They offer a full bar with the usual and interesting house drinks. Note that the creativity of the drinks will be reflected in the price. Enjoy responsibly- still recommended!
This place is either dead or overly packed (to where you cant move anywhere, use the restroom, etc.) but its a great place to dance if you can time it right (time of night, time of year, etc.). Be aware that they will keep taking your $10 cover charge even if they really shouldnt be stuffing any more people into the place. The balcony is a great place to catch a view of historic downtown.
I usually won’t review any establishment that I never actually made it inside but I’ll have an exception for this one . My wife and I who are both in our late fifties were asked for ID in order to enter. Unfortunately my wife had left her wallet at the hotel as we haven’t been asked in over twenty years 😂.Now here when things go wrong and businesses don’t understand the importance of hiring the right people. The doorman could have nicely explained how things are done in Savannah and been understanding to us visitors being unaware of the rules. He could have invited us back later with our identification or for another evening as we are staying three nights and told us it’s worth returning as they have a really fun bar . But no, unfortunately it didn’t go down quite that way . FYI it was a weekday at about 8.00 pm and the place looked empty.
First place we stopped at around 1 am and met some sweet people. Bouncer was polite. Very unique murals on walls. Picture worthy! Drinks are good and prices too!
Spent $30 cover charge for 3 people. Then immediately when purchasing drinks was told that there was a $10 minimum charge on cards. Bar tender wanted to open a tab and keep the card. I told the bar tender to immediately charge the minimum and close the tab and return the card. The bar tender didn’t follow through and left to help another customer. Another tender, who I assume was a manager, came and asked if I needed anything. I told him that the tab needed to be closed and card returned. He immediately asked if there was a problem. I said yes, since the other tender left and didn’t follow through with what I asked. This tender immediately without any hesitation or question, notified on staff Law Enforcement to remove myself and my party from the establishment for having a “problem”. I told law enforcement that I disagreed with the $10 minimum charge practice and keeping cards and requested the tab to close. Law Enforcement who was paid staff said that the business wanted us to leave and they were there to ensure we left. TR:DL this place is only here for your money and holding your charge card. Their business practices are confrontational to say the least. They do NOT care about customer service.
$20 for a regular Margarita and the worst service and attitude. Asked if I wanted hot sauce in my spicy Margarita... opted for the worst Margarita instead. Tourist trap.
I been here a few time but most recently for a bachorlette party this weekend. It was free to get in before it got to crowded. The drinks were about 8 dollars. The paid a mixture of new school and old school hip hop. The DJ was on point this weekend. He kept the crowd dancing. I had a ball!! and they have these balconies were you can smoke and catch a cool breeze.
Jeff DeRosa GM is the best! Drove from his house on a day off to get something for me that I left at the bar! Went out of his way to help me out.
Had a great time dancing here. It was surprisingly fun even on a Tuesday night. Drinks were a bit expensive ($7 for a shot of tequila) though and there were a lot of gross men who would not leave me and my friends alone.
We love coming here! It’s so fun to dance and look down at city market :) great music and a friendly bar. Jeff is our favorite server, he really knows how to put on the charm when the time is prime
I had a great time here Halloween night. We had been bar-hopping but decided to stay here the rest of the night as the crowd was great, good drinks, the bartenders dressed as Star Wars characters was a plus, and the DJ played a variety of music. Great fun!
Fun dance music, definitely scene for the college age crowd. Mixed drinks are weak. Everybody is super friendly though. There is some live music early on in the night and being on the second floor up with balconies all around is kind of cool.
I visited last Saturday. I guess this place caters to a very specific crowd, like those that like top 40 charts mash-ups. I give it 3 stars cause I am not one of those. Also, I moved from Miami and this place reminded me of the exact ones I’d try to avoid when I lived there. A lot of guys just standing around and several sloppily drink people. It was so crowded, with a balcony filled with unavoidable second hand smoke. For what it’s worth, the drinks reasonably priced. It was just too college-y, crowded, sweaty, and ‘eh’ music to dance to.
My wife and I were visiting Savannah on our honeymoon and stopped in. The happy hour bartender was a hilarious guy who shocked me with his sports knowledge. My wife isnt a big drinker but he went out of his way to make drinks for her catered around her taste. We left and came back several times and were treated as regulars. Very accomidating staff and highly recommended place for a Savannah experience.
Had the best time here. The band was awesome and so personal. The drinks were great and not expensive. I thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere.
Loved it! Joe is the best bartender! Full of tricks, deals with both you and your drunken friends, and super nice!! The best place to be on a Mondays, since it’s happy hour like all night long.
We freaking loved this place. The DJ was great and so was the atmosphere.
I went here on New Years 2019 and it was a fun place to party, however, the bartender who put my tip into the computer added $30 extra to it. I called the number on my receipt and the number on their website to try to talk to them about the problem, only to hear both lines had been disconnected. I do not suggest anyone go here as the bartender stole from me and I had no way reach them to try to resolve. I will NOT be going back.
This bar was a great spot for music, socialization, and tasty cocktails, until about 1am. When they get busy, this bar utilizes a bouncer for the restrooms and his rules are very arbitrary. This bouncer wouldn’t allow my two friends and I to use the restroom together and accused one of my friends of having drugs on her because of her race. He manhandled her away from the bathroom and wouldn’t allow anyone else in with her. We spent over $100 on drinks and spent several hours in the club only to be escorted out by security because this bouncer believed my friend to be a troublemaker. Very disappointing experience - please fire this “bathroom” bouncer because he’s abusive, rude, discrimantory and unnecessarily aggressive.
Walked into this place and was horrified by not only the music, but the crowd. Immediately went to leave and almost didnt make it out with both my flip flops cause the disgusting, sticky floor was like glue? Would not recommend this place unless you are a legit animal and want to get sweat on and stick to the floor. Terrifying.
Super crowded, music was good. A younger crowd for sure.
First time in Savannah, Ga! Everyone recommended the Tree House and they did not disappoint! Rey’Shaun (spelling may be off) is the best! Great atmosphere, live music, and perfectly mixed drinks made with little to no wait! Go see for yourself!
**SCAM LIKELY** These POS’s steal debit and credit cards from their patrons! Witnessed it first hand! They take your card if you open a tab and pretend it’s lost at the end of the night! Imagine your first night as a newlywed in Savannah and get ripped off at a dumpy bar!
Definitely a cool late night spot for music and drinks. But dont order anything other than well drinks. I ordered a jack & coke and it was obviously not jack daniels. So i assume they put well liquors in their bottles. But other than that its cool.
Its a pretty good atmosphere the mood is pretty good its just too bright in there for my opinion especially on the Dance Floor. I think some of the bartenders a little bit rude and they change their prices around a little bit
Drinks seemed watered down...Dj plays early 2000s -2010s with a sprinkle of current musicThis would definitely be more of a pre game spot for sure
First time in my life Ive ever been cut off. And not because I was visibly drunk (we were literally just sitting there quietly), but because of an imaginary 5 drink per hour law that definitely doesnt exist. Still wound up paying almost $100 for our tab, so thanks for cutting me off - you probably saved me another $100+ at least.
One of the best places to party in Savannah! Security be on point and so do the drinks. Shout-out to Spencer behind the bar. Love him!! Definitely the place to checkout when you come to town.
Its ok, I try not to judge a place on one visit, but there are way better places in Savannah to spend time and money. Kinda dirty/run down, it could be more but currently it seems like they cater to the trashy biker types. That was the case the day I was there anyways. Also the live music that was there that day was horrendous (not the bars fault), and someone affiliated with the artist came around with the tip bucket. I feel this is tacky at best, but when she made it to my group and we said no, she got upset and said, its for the music, Ill not a damn homeless person. I caught myself, but was close to saying, if your boyfriend wants to make money, singing off key and missing a plethora of notes on the guitar isnt a lucrative business model. I gave them 3 stars for the view of the street and City market. Tree House because its on the 2nd floor, otherwise I didnt see anything decor/theme to make it worthy of the name. Good place to people watch.10/10 would say Eh, sure I guess we can go there.
This is strictly a bar. They do not serve food. It is a great place to have a drink. The atmosphere is lively and fun. The bathrooms are singles male and female, so the lines get crowded.
Would post 0 stars if I could. Worst bar ever. Bartender threw away my vodka soda sitting on the bar then blamed it on me for leaving the drink on the bar when I was 2 feet away. Management also told me thats what I get for leaving my drink on the bar at a night club. Its not a night club. Its a bar with 20 people in it and some of them dance.
Definitely one of my go-to spots for downtown Savannah! The guys behind the bar always make sure youre taken care of. Great drinks and drink specials every night. Solid DJ and a fun crowd.
Finally fun nightlife while vacationing in Savannah! Live and DJ music, great strong drinks, fun and friendly atmosphere! Love the lights all over the ceiling and around. Had the most fun out of all the places in Savannah right here.
Night started off well but because of the overly aggressive bouncers, night turned to shiitt. Watch out all! If you want to see 250lb bouncers man handle women, this is the spot to go! Grabbed this random lady by her Face and throw her to the ground because he couldnt handle this 110lb lady. The owner needs to fire all of these people. Luckily I dont live here otherwise I would peruse charges. This place is drama waiting to happen. BE CAREFUL HERE
The live music, cool breeze and atmosphere is very relaxed. Feels like a local place that youll love going to. Highly recommended and the bar staff is friendly, always a plus!
Ha e to give it one star as for reason belowWe went here last yearReal nice , music was greatBut this year we were downtown and my wife didn’t have ID , she left pocketbook in hotelThey wouldn’t let us inWe are in our 60’sI wish we looked under 21The bouncer at door said no ID no admissionI this establishment should let bouncers at door use some common senseThey did recommend another bar with music somewhere elseWe never found itWent back to hotelDon’t think I’ll visit Tree Top next yearJust think if bouncers don’t allowI was in business myself and in business everything is numbersJust think if bouncers don’t allow 25 people a night because of ID problemsThat’s 9000 per yearAt an average spent of 30 dollars perThat’s $270,000 at at profit of 60%That $162,000I think I would let common serve more of a guideline
Any bar that has an active dance floor on a Wednesday night gets five stars from me. Thebar service was awesome. The DJ kept the crowd going. One of favorite spots to visit in downtown savannah.
Loud crazy fun... decent beer selection, great bartenders.
20 bucks just for me to get through the door and 10 for the wife. The clubs we went to before this only had a 5 dollar door fee and they had air conditioning. It was really hot in the tree house. Save your money
Dont waste your money at this place! I hate being taken advantage of. Bartenders will makeup prices for drinks and charge more just to collect a higher tip and then come up with terrible excuses as to why the same two drinks just cost $10 cheaper from a different bartender. If youre going to scam people out of their money at least get on the same page so its not so obvious
Had a great time at this place on a Monday with live music, a great view, and a friendly crowd. The staff was fast. Four stars for the rough bathroom situation, but its a bar, so not a huge complaint.
Levi is this best bartender in the world. Hes iconic, a superstar in the making honestly. Joey is cool too. It is a beautiful environment. Very keen if you like the environment.
This place is sketchy!!! Lots of illegal drug use and gangs here. No wonder why they have armed police moonlighting as bouncers. If you do risk going here pay with cash to keep from getting ripped off by the bar tenders. Be careful. These cops and bouncers are not friendly and the crowd that patrons this place is rough.
Wondered in for a jjager bomb with the bestie. Savannah local, born and raised. Had the pleasure of reuniting with my favorite person I hasnt seen in years! Great service. Chill atmosphere. Kick ass bartender...Joe truly enhanced our experience with his charm and spunk. Love
The bouncer attempted to take away my friends ID even after admitting it was a real ID and she had 2 other forms. We had to call 911 to resolve the issue and never received an apology for his outrageous actions. Absolutely avoid this bar.
Fun place. Good music and atmosphere. Having security that checks for weapons at the door is a big plus. Super friendly staff as well.
Definitely one of the hottest spots in Savannah at night! The only downside is that it gets really crowded, easily. The drinks arent terribly overpriced or watered down like at most bars and the bartenders arent bad.
🔼They gave my credit card to a complete stranger after I opened a tab at the bar.-I was out of town visiting Savannah and went to this hole in the wall bar with one single unsanitary bathroom that connects to the dance floor with a door that doesnt lock.-After giving my credit card to the bartender to open a tab for watered down drinks, when I attempted to close my tab they were unable to retrieve my credit card.-The bartender insisted he had given it to someone associated with my party. There was only 1 other person other than me that had not attempted to retrieve my card either.-They have no system to ensure their patrons credit cards are not being given to strangers.-Someone claimed my credit card and started making fraudulent charges across Savannah. I was stuck in another city with no money until that following Monday. Not to mention the ensuing frustration of waiting 10 business days to obtain another credit card, rearranging automated payments associated with the card, etc.-The manager showed no remorse or accepted any responsibility for aiding in identity theft. Infact stated that I didnt need to get an attitude with him.-There are so many great places to visit while in Savannah. You could find a bar just like this in any shady part of a college town.❎ Visit the real Savannah and avoid aggressive bouncers. Watered down drinks, an unsanitary bathroom..all mismanaged for your dissatisfaction.
Nice place the drinks were on point, the music was good. This nightclub was a lil grounded but an amazing night still. I will be going back.
Generally a fun night out - with one MAJOR setback. One of the girls we were with got her phone stolen out of her purse there (and the cops inside - yes, there were on-duty police officers inside the bar - did not seem surprised by this at all) . Watch your bags and pockets if you decide to try it out!
All of the locals told us to not go here and we definitely should have listened. This is by far the WORST bar in Savannah and the bouncers will assault you for absolutely no reason. If I could give it negative stars, I would.
The Tree House truly lives up to its name. From the moment you walk through the front door and make your way up stairs, the atmosphere is not only amazing but electrifying. The staff is highly professional and super friendly. Everything from the jungle decor to the magnificent DJ makes the location my new favorite spot in the Savannah night life.Though they do not have draft beers, the stocked beer selection is top notch. With a unique specialty drinks like Liquid Marijuana and Savannah Grammar to some tasty shots like the Acid Trip, Pineapple Upside Down cake, and Morphine Drip.Every other bar in the area just seems like another dive. The music is awesome. Live performers that know their craft to the letter and an exceptional DJ that can mix any top 20s hit with great dance music. This place is worth checking out, if your in town, especially on the weekend. and its one of the few locations in the area where you wont have to leave the bar to smoke. You just walk out onto one of the balconies.
In a town overrun with the hoity-toity bistros and white linen eateries, this place is a breath of fresh air. Its a bar with just the right amount of dive combined with non pretentious staff and patrons. When you have had enough of the fluff and just need a good drink, climb on up to the Tree House in Savannahs City Market district.
Very nice place to check out if in town. The drinks are VERY GOOD and the bartenders are fast! We really had a great time.
Favorite place to go out in Savannah. Great music. Bartenders are great, especially Brit. Always in a good mood and quick. Youll miss out if you dont go to this place.
Go to nightlife experience every time we are in Savannah. Great music, drinks in an open air environment. Highly recommend.
I always enjoy any time I come to treehouse. The live music is great and the bartenders are excellent. It is definitely a must go spot for any one wanting a good night out.
My experience at Treehouse last Saturday 8/4 involved being verbally harassed by the bouncer when I asked why theyre charging girls $5 cover, I think its extremely tacky to charge girls for a cover especially before midnight. The whole point is to attract customers to your business, to buy alcohol etc. Mind you my cowokers who got in without having to pay a cover before us made me think this bouncer is pocketing peoples cash. The bouncer continued to berate me after I paid him and called me names and said that I shouldnt be telling him how to run his business, when I simply asked a question. I was with a large group on a work trip and the cowokers behind me said he continued bad mouthing me after I left the line, which I thought was trashy, disrespectful, immature and unprofessional. I got inside and it smelled of sweat and BO because it was so crowded with a bunch of college kids overtaking the main dance floor bar area, I immedaitely left displeased with my entire experience. Savannah Smiles will be the only establishment I trust from now on in Savannah! This place sucks.
I told them my Cuervo wasnt Cuervo and I was told what do you want me to do about it. They had it in a cuervo bottle but it was a bottom shelf liquor, it taste like Pepe or captain tequila. If you dont have it fine, say that but dont make me pay $12 for a drink and your giving the $6-8 drink.
Your better off coming here on the week days because its impossible to come in on the weekends. Other than that the cocktails are great and the staff is quick. Its one of my favorite bars in savannah.
Fun place to drink a bit and be social. Music is typical dancing/bar music (pop, hip hop, classics) and the locals are awesome.
Great atmosphere and drinks. Brit was an excellent bartender and made sure I was taken care of, had excellent service and left very satisfied with my experience. Will definitely be coming back.
They didnt have any whiskey or scotch This security was very slow to react to an altercation on the dance floor But thats just my opinion 9 minutes to respond to an incident is way too long and I was standin right there But all in all the people that I will with had a good time
Best bar in savannah! I spend every weekend at this bar! All of the bartenders and the music is always on point!! If you’re ever in savannah and are looking for somewhere to have a great time, you should definitely come here!!!!
They tried to charge me more than double when I ordered second time. I didnt sign but they charged the money! Even police came and said this is how the business goes! So if you still want to go there this is your life. Do it!
Live music earlier in the night. Great place to dance later on. Love that its on the second floor and the staff was super energetic and nice as well!
I was discriminated against and had the “security guard” at the front door turn away me and my friends simply because I have a medical alert dog. This establishment clearly doesn’t know the laws. When I tried to explain what the ADA laws say about service dogs (that they are allowed all access to businesses, restaurants, hotels, etc.) he wouldn’t listen and would not allow our group to enter. I told him he was discriminating against me because of my medical condition and he replied with...”I don’t care.”Clearly this business has not been educated on how to treat people with disabilities.
Dj on Saturday night was AMAZING, had everyone dancing! Drinks were good.
Taking off a point only because the bathrooms are very difficult to get to - you have to walk around the bar and through the dance floor. Otherwise, great bar with good drinks and view of the square.
Never a dull moment here!
So so so so SO much fun! Fantastic music to dance to and great drinks! I cant wait to go back! Really great place for a bachelorette party.
Denied access because of my service animal claiming that they were allergic. Clearly not aware of ADA requirements. I look forward to this place closing down when they get sued for denying ADA access.
The balcony has a great view of City Market. We watched a local musician, but with social distancing measures, it is difficult to find a seat.
Great atmosphere. Lots of fun. Best Service in Savannah. VERY protective of their customers. My new favorite placeto visit.
Nice atmosphere to meet up with friends, attentive bartenders & well mixed drinks. Music was also decent. Dont forget to tip.
Great music, tasty drinks, awesome atmosphere... Annnnddd its all located in the heart of City Market of Savannah... Well within walking distance to River Street
Guy working the door was very rude. Unknowingly, my ID was expired. He berated me and made me feel stupid about it for 5 mins before telling me he couldn’t let me in. A simple no would have done
This is a great place to go clubbin its was poppin early Friday night the DJ knew how to keep the party goin he played good song after song we didnt even have to find anywhere else to go we didnt want to leave coz it was jumpin. Worth trying
There was an awesome live band playing in the open air patio. The drinks were fine, didnt eat any food, but the atmosphere was great.
I absolutely love this place! They are always so wonderful and pleasant to everyone. I always enjoy the cocktails! Will def. become back! Reyshan is the best!
Every single time me or my husband went to the bar, we were served immediately. I went up once and had all 3 bartenders ask me what I want within 1 minute. Ive never had better service anywhere! And let me say the place was packed.
The place is okay. The crowd is rowdy and the music is on really loud. The floor is sticky because everyone keeps spilling their drinks. Didnt have food so cant comment.
Great bar...large selection of IPAs from all over Ga and NC....part of the bar crawl...so we didnt have time to munch! Loved the set up...it was hopping !
I absolutely loved this place. I’m 34 and truly enjoyed it! It was a good mix of young and older. Great old school and new school music. Definitely recommend.
Great bar to just chill. Had lots of fun. Enjoyed live music then a great DJ.
This place was so lit. Drinks were kinda pricy but as expected. But the bartenders were keeping up with the demand. Music was good.
Great selection of music, dance floor is always lit and the bartenders keep the drinks coming!
Really bad experience. Bartende was very nasty. They ripped you out with mix drinks. DO NOT ORDER ANY MIX DRINKS. Nasty attitude all the bartenders and the manager.
Went on a weeknight so wasnt busy and no entry fee. Great live music and STRONG drinks, what more could you ask for?
I love this spot mixed crowd ages 21 to sixty. Bands are great on any night djs are good
I am disgusted to learn that Tree House kicked out a lesbian couple today because one had their arm over the shoulder of the other. Homophobia and discrimination is abhorrent in a place of business such as this. I do not recommend even giving so much as a side eye here. I will NOT ever be spending my money here again.
This place is great. Looks over market square in Savannah. Staff is awesome and makes great drinks! Ask for Levi, he makes the best drinks!
Staff and bouncers are friendly. Live music is great!
Hands down best late night spot to throw down in Savannah. Excellent entertainment, sound system and lighting are on point! Treehouse consistently throws the biggest party in the city every night.
Great service and atmosphere. A must stop for the bar hoppers. Levi, Brit and Sims are best bartenters there is. Give them all your money.
Great bar in savannah! The bartenders were all very friendly and cute and tall!! :) would definitely recommend and come back for great drinks and a great atmosphere
Place rocks...or wobbles depending on the time of day! Bartenders are greaaaat, managers are greaaaat, drinks are made good n strong. Oh, and the doorguys! Friggin fantastic door guys (Im totally not one of the door guys).
If I could give it ZERROOO stars I WOULD!! Their drinks are WATERED DOWN and they have a dumb dress code policy! No t shirts OR jerseys!!! Thats PATHETIC !! Its not like its some fancy club, its literally some hole in the wall that youll take a piss or poop in!! Not worth the money or TIME!! And the door guys are RUDE
Excellent night time spot. We went on a Saturday night and especially loved DJ Phive Star. Check it out! Its a younger crowd thats looking to party
👉NEED AN UBER?ENTER CODE: VPU8H ......FOR A DISCOUNT ON YOUR FIRST RIDE!!!!!!👈Great Vibes and the locals are even better😂. As packed as it gets, surprisingly enough its pretty easy to get a drink. The bartenders are A-1 and heavy handed 🙃😎lol. Best drinks IMO..... LIQUID MARIJUANA and BOB MARLEY.👉NEED AN UBER?ENTER CODE: VPU8H ......FOR A DISCOUNT ON YOUR FIRST RIDE!!!!!!👈
Amazing experience! Music was great, the locals were helpful and the vibe was unreal.
It’s a nice atmosphere N the music was great but I order two liquid marijuana which like a house special for them for a friend and I. It tasted like soda I didn’t taste any alcohol and I asked my friend didn’t he taste anything and he told me no but it made a good soda and I know some bars have their nozzle set to 2.5 but you couldn’t taste anything so that’s why they got one star the crowd and the music was great but when your service isn’t up to par I have to give you thumbs down.
Great drinks. Good atmosphere. Can get extremely crowded on peak nights.Closes early and music is a bit dated.
The bouncer refused to let our friend into the bar despite having a real ID and two other forms. It took 3 cops to get her drivers license back even though he knew it was real. Avoid this bar at all cost.
Levi is the man. He has great customer service skills and is just a good time as a bartender. Makes great drinks. Id hit him up
Im from Charleston sc went here last night and had a great time.. The services was fast friendly and excellent. This is a bar you must visit when you come to savannah
This place is so much fun! I went on a Saturday and The happy hour bartender was awesome! I cant wait to go back!!
This place is always awesome and has great music playing. 2nd floor is the best.
$50 for 3 drinks in plastic cups, not even in nice glasses. Too expensive!
Music was great! Service was non existent. Bartender was doing their own drama instead of looking put for the customer 😡
Just did not like this place,no beer on tap, place is really dirty, music was ok, this is in a great location just needs to put some work into keeping it nicer
Very busy. Had cover charge. Shots were tiny. Like thimble size. Good music. But probably wont go back.
Great drinks, live music, friendly bartenders. Very few places to sit and lots of trash cans lining the outside windows. Maybe covid related? I dont know.
We enjoyed the live music and creative shots. Thanks Jeff for your honesty with my purse!
Such a cool fun place!!! Had live music, cool drink suggestions from the fun bar tenders. Was def the highlight of my trip!!!
Fun bar with a rooftop view, not many drink options, we went early but looks like its a big party place.
Best place to party at night! Drinks are big and the place has balcony views of the city. Excellent music and vibes!
It’s decent when there are not any fights. Bartenders deal with a lot so they’re kind of rude. Beer is way overpriced.
The crowd was a very diverse crowd.. everyone dancing and having fun together.. good music, good drinks and a great balcony view of the downtown vibe
Was the last stop of the night last time I was in Savannah. Had a great time. The one-man-band played his hand at some Tool and A Perfect Circle.
Ok little place to stop for a drink but there is not enough seating. Plenty of space for more high tops. Stayed for a round of drinks. Not much going on there.
Tree house is the one and only bar in Savannah. If you happen to drive through Georgia, you must hit up tree house. Its the best bar ,the best bartenders, and the best experience!
Great happy hour prices, live music, and quick service. Easy place to grab drinks if youre in savanah!
Dope environment. Cool DJ. Great vibe. The bartenders were on point. Great drinking spot with a good mixed crowd
Bartenders are good, music was average, but my purse was stolen so the night was ruined. Crowd changes after midnight so hold on to your belongings.
Reyshan and Jeff are 2 of the best and sexieesssst with two es and four ss. Perfect bar for listening to some jams or dancing your face off and having a great time!
A great bar with great service!! joe was absolutely amazing and will definitely come back when i come into town!!!
