Ryan was so awesome!! I could tell right away I was in good hands. He was gentle given that I just had surgery, but also firm enough to relax my head, neck, and scalp. If I lived here I would definitely return!

This was meant to be! Were on a girls trip weekend and called at 9:30 to see if they had 3 openings for this morning... and they did! Eric & Dee were so welcoming on the phone, and upon arrival!Its clean, serene, natural, and very reasonable!There are 3 massage options : standard, stretch, and healing. I went with the stretch and added an extra. Vicente heard my concerns respectfully/appropriately addressed all of them. One of the best massages Ive had!Im glad theres a location near me at home!Thanks so much!

This morning I received the best ever massage from Emmalyn. Truly - I’ve gotten massages at a lot of different fancy resorts and none compare to the fantastic massage I received today.

I went in last week for a massage to help with arm and hand pain most likely due to recurring carpel tunnel.I choose the add on Gua Sha. Seydonia was my therapist. This therapist worked wonders! My pain is virtually GONE and I was suffering with this for weeks. There’s no other explanation except what she did worked! I’ll definitely be back soon. Thank you Seydonia !!

Muzique was amazing! She also works as a chiropractic assistant & with injury recovery. She did wonders for my old lower back injury & Ill definitely book with her again. The ambiance of the studio is also really beautiful. I enjoyed that they played soft wave sounds while I got my massage, it helped me get in tune with my breathing.

I have to stay this place was wonderful. I was taken here by my boyfriend as a surprise. I got the Now massage with the healing add on. I have had countless massages in the past and Curtis is definitely in the top three. I am a realtor in town and I will definitely be sharing this place with my clients. It is a hidden gem for sure!

I usually do not write reviews, but …… My experience here, unfortunately, was my worst. It was my first, and surely my last time, at the Scottsdale location. I paid for the deep tissue enhancement and all I received was basically a rub. I am from out-of-state and my prior deep tissue massages at the other The Now locations have been amazing - painful and effective, as expected. However, yesterday’s deep tissue was nothing more than a soft rub… A Swedish massage has a firmer touch than my “deep tissue” massage from yesterday. Most of the massage session was purely focused on my back and only the remaining 5 minutes did I actually get attention on my legs and feet… Also, my masseur asked me to breathe in, as usual at the start of the massage session, and all I could smell was cigarette smoke. I feel like I wasted my $100+ on this. I will not be back.

The NOW is The WOW. This new gem is an oasis to get away to from your days of stress or just for your leisure. Ill be surprised if you didnt have an outer body experience when being massaged by trained and professional masseuse. I had the opportunity to be booked with Jonathan Hicks and he gets booked very quickly so call and make your appointment.

My NOW massage with Ashley was absolutely amazing!! She was so kind and present during the experience and made sure I felt comfortable. The environment of this spa is seriously welcoming right when you walk in but the second you’re in the room, it transforms you to as if you’re at the beach getting a massage right next to the ocean. Just absolutely amazing!! Loved it and will be back again.

The whole Now Massage team is super friendly and attentive, but Trang is the absolutely best! She does a great job of warming up your muscles and analyzing what needs the most work. I usually book her for a deep tissue and she has really helped loosen up my knots and makes me feel so much better after every visit. I like the Hemp Calm Balm, Deep Tissue, and Fresh Eyes add on’s for real treat-your-self days.It was my first time doing a massage membership and the routine self care experience plus the results really made it worth it for me.

Scottsdale and was more than impressed.Professional desk staff and quaint lobby gives way to an unexpectedly spectacular treatment area with beautiful wicker ceiling lanterns and rooms separated by heavy draped curtains rather than doors.I literally felt like I had entered Narnia once. I’d passed through the sliding barn door, and was verbally in awe when walking down the hallway.My Therapist, Trang, did a pre-assessment to find out my desired pressure and identify any specific areas of concern before she began.I have been to many spas and salons over the years and most of them set the ambiance with calming music. The Now noticeably uses the sounds of loud ocean waves crashing along a rocky shoreline and it was amazing. It’s such a neutral and appealing sound, you are instantly relaxed before your massage begins. Loved it.The massage itself was incredible. Trang was professionally quiet throughout (nothing worse than a chatty therapist when trying to relax) and incredibly adept at finding all my ‘problem areas’ without guidance. She was thorough in those areas just long enough before tears would have welled up and then she knowledgeably moved on..hahaAs mentioned prior, I’ve had my fair share of massages and this was the ONLY time I caught myself falling asleep because the entire environment was so peaceful and relaxing. I left feeling incredible and would absolutely recommend Trang, at the Now Massage, to heal whatever ails you!

GINA is phenomenal!!! I like a firm massage, and Gina did not disappoint! Those hands are small but mighty! I’ve always carried stress in my neck and shoulders, and they are always super tight. Gina paid extra attention to my problem areas and really worked the knots out. SO GOOD! I did the 80-minute massage and wished I could’ve had more time.The boutique’s decor and ambiance was wonderful! Each massage room is enclosed in a curtain, and the sound of waves is playing throughout… I felt like I was getting a massage on the beach! The ladies at the reception area were warm and friendly, and the prices are great! We will definitely be back!

I had my very 1st massage at The NOW North in Scottsdale. Ashley was my massage therapist and she was AMAZING! She consulted with me and I told her that I needed a soft touch since I have a lot of nerve and disc pain. She made me feel comfortable and relaxed as she gave me a perfect massage! I felt like jello after- sooooo relaxed. The facility was clean and incredibly relaxing. When you closed your eyes, it felt as if you were on the beach with the water hitting the shore as you had an oceanside massage. I couldnt recommend Ashley and The NOW Massage North in Scottsdale.

-the therapist did not communicate at all during the massage or respond to requests for added pressure nor questions around what was being used on me or in my hair-the service was booked for 80 mins with scalp and heat treatments. The heat treatment was not performed. The massage only lasted ~50 instead of 80. And the head treatment felt like my hair was being pulled with a product I was unaware of. I asked, no response.-the massage itself was terrible, it felt like I was being rubbed with lotion. No actual massaging techniques to deliver relief, comfort, and relaxation were used.-other than a refund for the mismatch in what was booked vs what was performed during the massage ($50) they have made no effort to make anything right. I won’t be going back.

Used to love it here but its gone downhill. The good therapists are leaving. Was injured from massage. Front desk made an error and booked me for a deep tissue add-on and blamed me afterwards. Although I do enjoy and have had many deep tissue massages from trained professionals at physical therapy practices on my sore muscles after vigorous workouts, I do not enjoy having my shoulder blades popped out of place and intense jerky movements pushing along my spine to the point where I cannot walk the following day. Was never asked if pressure was okay and I mistakenly bared through it, unknowingly that I was signed up for a deep tissue. It wasnt until the next morning I realized I was badly injured at the base of my spine. I have been working with my personal trainer all week strictly on stretching and theragun, icing, red light therapy and toradol shots to recover from what feels like a herniated disc. It has been 5 days and I can still hardly walk or turn my torso. I will update this review once I have an x-ray. Very disappointed in how everything was handled - from the lack of communication and empathy, and questionably even more concerning, the employee accusing me of being dishonest via phone when booking appointment. Mind you - I have had their monthly massage membership for over a year and have never once scheduled a deep tissue. To make matters worse, I reached out to management to give an opportunity to make this right and was told that it is normal to be in this much pain nearly a week later while not offering any sort of reimbursement or at the very least, apology. Very poor way to treat a loyal customer. This business has completely lost my trust and patronage. I will not be back.

My first visit to The NOW for a prenatal massage was a fabulous experience! Upon arrival, I was warmly greeted by the receptionists. Both were friendly and welcoming. The boutique’s ambiance is soothing and it truly gives you a spa-like experience.Jonathan was my massage therapist, and I was very impressed with his skill and attentiveness. The room was prepped for a prenatal massage. The bed was prepared with a pregnancy pillow that offered support and comfort for the growing belly. Jonathan made sure that I was comfortable throughout my 50-minute massage. I walked out feeling relaxed and refreshed. Thank you to the wonderful staff at The NOW!

I have had 2 massages with Jenifer and they were both amazing. She is very good at what she does and very quickly knows how best to work with your body. I have a lot of tension in my shoulders, which she has helped me with a lot. She also suggested some stretches and exercises that would help also.The atmosphere is so lovely and the whole is experience is wonderful ❤

This was my first time at NOW and I have to say it was one of the best 80 minute massages I have ever had, (and I have had a lot LOL). From the moment I entered the door, I felt peaceful and special. Everyone was so friendly. And Howard was amazing!!! I have never felt so relaxed!! I recommend this place highly!!!

There are so many good things to say about The Now Massage North Scottsdale. I went in for the first time this week and found it better than any other place in Scottsdale. I had Trang as my therapist and she was fantastic.The GM Alejandra and the rest of the staff were very helpful and friendly.

First time at The Now and wow! The front reception area is super minimal but calming. The receptionists were super friendly and explained all the offerings very well. I opted to add on the Hemp calm balm to my massage however Im not sure I actually received it which is disappointing. Once checked in, you are taken back to your own personal cabana style room. It was lovely and so relaxing with the sounds of the ocean waves in the background. My massage therapist was absolutely amazing. Best massage Ive ever had. Highly recommend The Now but would skip any add ons.

I had a massage with Curtis; he was excellent. He asked about my needs before the massage and also inquired if the pressure was okay once the massage had begun. Curtis even gave me very much appreciated aftercare instructions to not be as tense.The atmosphere was incredible.I 100% recommend the now massage and Curtis for your relaxing needs.

The monthly membership is worth every penny! The massage therapists are attentive, experienced and care about making your massage the best experience possible! The environment is peaceful and serene and makes you forget about all of the daily hustle and bustle of daily life. Highly recommend!

Just came out of an 80 minute massage and had to leave this review.I’ve been to many massage places over the years, and The Now is my favorite. The people are great, from the front desk staff, to the friendly owner, to the very talented therapists.I look forward to this time every two weeks and treating myself to a special add-on, of which there are about 10, because I’m WORTH IT! Next time I’m going for the eye mask.Life is too short to not be good to yourself, and supporting a small business run by truly good people is the icing on the proverbial cake.

Curtis is an amazing therapist. Every time I have a session with him I’m able to get off the table with zero back pain. He is an extremely professional and informative massage therapist and does an amazing firm pressure massage and stretch.

The therapist that came in a Sunday am was under the influence and then during the massage she stops and had to go to the restroom. Whats worst she was so quick the whole time I was thinking she never washed her hands. Then my HSA card was changed and payment wouldnt go through and instead of calling me they just canceled and took all my credits away. Terrible management terrible service

Update- spoke with Trisha. She was very concerned and tried to help me with the issue. I still didn’t get a massage but she was great at least with trying to help me.Website wouldn’t let me create an account. That’s the only way to book an appointment. I went somewhere else.

Decide to splurge a little and treat myself to a mid week massage at The Now! I was able to make an appointment on short notice without any issues. Howard was my massage therapist and he was AMAZING! I’m always a little hesitant going to a massage chain but I was very pleasantly surprised as it was honestly the best massage I’ve had in a long time! I will definitely be back! Absolutely love this place! The ambiance, the smell, the design, the employees, the massage! Every employee I have met has made me feel very comfortable. I was concerned at first, if I would be able to hear other people talking as I am used to having solid walls and I like peace and quiet (no talking, or other sounds besides music) I dont want to hear other people talking when I am getting a massage. The interior design, The NOW Massage has, is meant to tell you its the quiet zone, once you head back for a massage, no problem at all hearing any noises or people and I love the walls. They actually gave me a tour to address all of my concerns mentioned here. I really love the interior design, its like walking into another world, I love the ocean sounds during my massage, so relaxing. I joined as a member and Nicky has been my massage therapist. Nicky delivers a nice strong massage! The candles they sell are amazing too!

I suffer from chronic and frequent migraines. I have been to many massage therapists. Howard Li at The Now Massage has been amazing. He is also trained in traditional Chinese medicine and he has really helped my chronic headaches. He is extremely knowledgeable and is a headache guru. I highly recommend Howard if you are suffering and need headache relief. The space is also relaxing, clean, the staff is friendly, and it is easy to schedule. Five stars!

Last week I had my first experience at The NOW in Scottsdale and it was amazing. Not sure what candles they have, but the smell was soothing and got me ready for the most relaxing massage Ive ever had (I fell a sleep for a sec and caught myself snore). The overall ambiance of the room mixed with the crashing waves is out of this world and is an experience that needs to be seen first hand. I was so entranced that I booked another appointment without looking at my schedule. Unfortunately I had a previous engagement and had to re-book for a later date. Luckily I did it in a timely manner to where I wasnt charged for the cancelation. The staff was so helpful with the rebooking and in finding a time to link my schedule with the therapist. Cant wait to go back for another experience.

I had the BEST massage at NOW Spa with Niki! It was the perfect pressure, firm with a good flow and relaxing all in one. I was so impressed with Niki and her massage, I cant wait to come back! This was my first visit to The NOW Massage and I was very pleased. The ambience was calming and relaxing. The facility was clean and comfortable. But my rave is about my massage therapist Rosalina. I have had many massages to recognize the difference and she was amazing! I added the deep tissue and she delivered. She asked if I had any areas of concern (like often when getting a massage) but she actually listened and made the massage everything I needed. She was very conscientious and seemed intuitive to my trouble areas. I cannot emphasize enough how great she was and how much it helped release my tension and helped the muscle trauma from a car accident. I highly recommend Rosalina and will go back!

What an experience! The name says it all, you truly are in the NOW when you are there. I had the pleasure of having Martin, who is an amazing massage therapist. I am a hairdresser so I carry a lot of stress in my back and shoulders, he had the perfect balance of pressure and relaxation. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a positive massage experience!

Only complaint is that I didnt book a longer massage. I had Jennifer L. and she hit all my spots that were hurting. Ive had deep tissue massages where they dont put a ton of pressure into, but she made sure to really get in there and get out some of those knots. If I could I would go here daily.

Dana was the best high pressure massage I have ever received. The pressure was firm and she moved my arms around to assist in lessening the tension in my shoulders. Highly recommend!

If I could give this place 10 stars I would. Maybe I’ll just write two reviews. You walk in the front door and immediately your stress level drops. A very minimalist reception desk is there and it doesn’t interfere with the desert spa vibe at all. The pricing is competitive and I highly recommend looking over the enhancement menu (I chose deep tissue massage). You go through a door to talk to your masseuse about what muscle groups you would like them to concentrate on. Then you are led back to your private cabana and if you close your eyes you can almost feel the ocean breeze. The massage by Devon was professional level and hit the exact upper shoulder and back muscle groups that had been bothering me. Some stretches were suggested to help me keep them loose along with a gentle reminder to stay hydrated even more than normal.Absolutely will be repeating this experience and suggest anyone looking for a massage in Scottsdale should check it out. (they offer athletic stretching massages as well: I’m looking at you, country club golfer).

I cant say enough wonderful things about the team at NOW Massage North Scottsdale! I personally have been going to Teddy for months now. He listens to my needs and almost intuitively knows what to do. I feel extremely safe and secure in this space😊

What an amazing place! From the time you step through the doors, you feel like you have been transported to a magical island. This is not your typical “chain” massage studio. The ambiance begins to lower your blood pressure within minutes and then you hear the sound of the ocean while you are swept away with your body work therapist. I have had hundreds of massages in some of the finest spas and resorts because I am in the wellness business but this ranks at the top of my list! If you want a tranquil experience while having stress melt out of your body, then this is the place for you!I was so relaxed, I went home and took a nap! Bravo to the team at The Now 😊

We stayed at an Airbnb nearby, and my husband found this place and made me an appointment. They were just setting up shop. The place was beautiful reminded me of restoration hardware meets coastal beach. It was so relaxing. I was the only one there and it was so quiet with waves playing in the background instead of annoying music. Chris did my massage and it was great. It was a fantastic experience all the way around.

I am giving it 2 stars because I was charged $60 for cancelling an appointment. The whole massage is $100. I have been a month to month member with them and have spent so much money. Getting charged $60 for a cancelled appointment (no matter what their policy is) is very tasteless. I was planning on being a customer there for ever but I wont be coming back. For $60, they have potentially lost a lot more money.

Overall, it was a good experience. Friendly and clean. The beds were a bit too big for masseuse to.maneuver well. She did jump around from body part and back and forward, so that felt a bit awkward but not terrible.

Hands down one of the best massages I have had in the Phoenix/Scottsdale area! As soon as you walk back to the treatment area you feel as if you have been transported to Tulum. The ambiance is conducive for an incredibly relaxing experience. Would choose to come here for a massage over the top resorts in the area.

Walking into The Now I felt transported to a retreat for my body and mind. The soothing sounds and peaceful candle lit rooms take the focus away from your every day stresses and allow you to relax into peaceful bliss. The massage therapists are highly skilled and help slow your busy mind and ease your aching muscles. A positive environment everyone should experience.

My wife and I were vacationing in Scottsdale and we love a great massage. We read the incredible reviews on Google and Yelp and decided to give it a try...BLOWN AWAY!!!!! It was great to be in Scottsdale but the experience at The NOW was like being at one of our favorite places to visit TULUM!!!!! The vibe, service, and overall environment are SPECTACULAR!!!! The NOW looks and feels like a place that would be ultra-expensive and it was not!!!! How can they deliver such a WORLD CLASS experience for such a low price!!!!!???? I dare anyone to compare!!!! You will not be disappointed!!!! Anytime I visit Scottsdale I will be back for more!!!! THANK YOU!!!!
