The fried pork ribs special was absolutely hands down the best pork I’ve ever eaten. It was a moment. The Mac and cheese and the bbq bean sides were AMAZING. Great vibe too with live and outdoor music sometimes, and the people were great. I love it!

Went on a Thursday at 3:30. Goggle maps listed it as open. When I got there the door was lock. Nothing explaining why it was closed. Looked inside the window and theres still tables and chairs. But looks like it was stacked up for storage more than from closing the night before. Looks like its been closed for awhile. Read a review from a few months ago where the owner responded to the review stating they were still open for the time I showed up. Would appreciate an update from owner if they read this. Google says youre open and youre still selling Groupon vouchers. Thats why I visited. I bought one. Will get a refund for groupon but still open to going and revising review if its still open.

This place is pretty chill doesnt get busy at all...I have a few complaints.. the bar is not well stocked at all with anything anyone wants to drink For God sakes they actually have wild Irish rose and Cisco as an option, With that being said the chicken is good The music is a good vibe ... I think this place could use some promotion and better drink options and better bartenders( asked for a Moscow mule and she had no idea what it was) We wanted to come for New Years Eve but when we went online and saw the prices we opted out. This place is one of the few places that black people can visit and feel comfortable in Everett, So I definitely will be here On the weekends

Wow! Such a nice, new place! The decor is swanky but classy. The owner Darlene & her brother Herb are warm and welcoming. I ordered red beans & rice and potato salad. It was awesome! Im very picky about potato salad and this was SO good. They have a full bar with a cool & very pleasant bartender. They also have a DJ with a decent sound system. There are tables, cozy couches with tables and a pool table in the back. This is a great new find. Saturday, August 20th is Darlenes 50th birthday. Everyones invited and theyre serving up FREE FOOD! I know where Im gonna be on the 20th. The lighting is upbeat and festive, plus theres a dance floor. I almost couldnt stop myself from jumping up and dancing to Brick House, Shes mighty mighty, lettin it all hang out!

There are many great things about this place but it starts with the owner and staff welcoming you like you have known them for years continuing with great drinks and topping off with the BEST chicken around. This place is my new favorite. Going back today to try the gumbo and catfish

I dont even know what to say about this place. Showed up Wednesday evening closed even though their posted hours say open. Tried again on Friday, called first to make sure we didnt waste another trip. No answer. Go anyhow theyre actually open and not busy whatsoever. Place order but out of most sides so decide and still place order. Female who took our order was initially friendly said she understood and placed our order. 1 hour elapsed.... Yes a full hour then only receive partial order. Female then claims thats all we ordered and thats all that they made and was very dismissive. Just dont bother with this place. It may be more melanin friendly but not worth the hassle of lackadaisical(not rude) staff and it shouldnt take an hour and 20 mins for food. No explanation or anything and the guy who brought it out one item at a time all sideways in bag. At least they didnt charge for the last entree.Edit: Now that we actually tried the food. Definitely the closest thing to soul food around. As mentioned above didnt get to try many of the sides because theyre out. But as someone who doesnt typically care for beans, their beans and beef are FIRE!!!So all in all 4 stars for the food, two stars for time and screwed up order.Response to owner: Im glad you were able to check your cameras but I too have timestamps of communication. The order was placed at 5:23 pm (to informs about your sold out sides) and walked out with last entrée at 6:31 pm, so like mentioned above more than a hour. After 30 mins of waiting at the bar ended up taking a seat at one of the booths until receiving last of the order. Not sure what time repairs were started on Wednesday, but at 5:08 pm there was absolutely no sign posted. Or at least on door that we checked your hours on and there were 3 of us. As for the number of sides I didnt think that was even an issue just wasnt sure because your website states one thing and then posted pics/reviews say another. Like I also mentioned there were undoubtably no complaints about the food once received. It was delicious and on another level to most all food in the area. This review is more so based of the extended amount of time(yes, more than an hour) to receive and only initially receiving partially what we ordered.

Did not eat there but the after hours bar and dance was fun and without worries. 1 pool table and plenty of seating. The staff were friendly and quick to serve.

The food is real good. The place is clean asfk ain’t ever been to a bar doper than this one! The vibes are unmatched!! Ya will not be disappointed 20/10

Definitely the spot to be on the weekends in Everett now. Love they mix up the music with some old school, throwbacks and new stuff.

Place is very nice and neat would recommend their wings are good!! Never disappoints always a really good time when I go.

Let me put it simply but on point. Jarays Lounge is where its at!!! A place where your dreams can come true when theres nothing to do!!

The staff is courteous and professional. The music and food is great.
