Great massage - I booked for next day. They were accommodating and Callie provided an excellent massage. I had been sore from a long hilly run and she was very responsive to what I needed!

I love this spa! Carrie is the best and all the staff is amazing. They always answer the phone, communication is A+! The spa is super comfortable and clean. Love it and super recommend it!

I love LaVida! I’ve been coming here for about 2 years and still love it. I’ve learned living without massage is a non-negotiable for me so their subscription makes it much more affordable to come multiple times a month. I love that the memberships offer a discount for coming more than once a month. Staff has always gone above and beyond with customer service and very professional.I prefer a deep tissue/more firm type of massage, if that’s your style I love Jessica and Rene. They’re both able to really workout some kinks. Also Sam at the front desk has always been so awesome and professional - thank you everybody there that make this an enjoyable experience each visit!

Ive been a LaVida membership holder at the WS location for several years and have had a couple of favorite therapists, but Michael is absolutely the best. Not only that, hes the best Ive ever seen and Ive been getting professional massages for over a decade. I could write paragraphs of specific praise, but I dont even want to say more because I selfishly dont want his schedule to get too booked to fit me in.Aside from Michael being an amazing human, Ive always had a great customer experience. Front desk is friendly, checking in and out is smooth, and scheduling/rescheduling is a breeze. I think its a great value for the service and atmosphere. I originally started my membership when I lived a few blocks away and would walk to and from my massage. Ive since moved down to Tacoma, and I still come up once a month because its worth it.

Ive been coming here for a few months now and La Vida always meets or exceeds my expectations. Becoming a member was absolutely worth it! Clean and peaceful location, talented staff, and their concierge is on point.

As much as I would love to gate keep, and have my fave therapists to myself, it’s no surprise that Carrie and Lam are amazing!! They are both very different in their massage techniques. If you want more of a flowly with a bomb 💣 scalp massage, 💆🏼‍♀️ Carrie is your girl! If you want more focus deep tissue with a bomb neck/hand massage, Lam is your guy! Though Lam is deep tissue he can definitely be versatile and be more of that relaxation style. Carrie is more med to light pressure. Don’t be mad if you can’t get in for a while, they are very popular. It will be worth the wait though! 😊

Massage was 5/10 ok. They offer 90-minute massages but turns out they only give you 80-minutes of hands-on time. I was not told this by the person who booked my massage over the phone. 10 minutes less of a $170 massage 90 minute is false marketing... and of course I was told this AFTER the massage took place.........It takes probably 4 minutes combined to undress and then tell the therapist what your target areas are. The rooms are cold which is abnormal for a massage studio. The LMT I had was average. They have good follow-up appointment making teams. Overall Seattle seems to be lacking in massage availability.

I just had my 1st massage this am with James and he suggested another in two weeks. I could feel the difference and I booked another one for next Sunday!

Every experience that I have had at LaVida has been superb. I have seen many of the therapists there and I love that each can address my problem areas with different techniques and approaches. I saw Freddie this past appointment and he was a great mix of deep tissue and treatment work, with relaxation elements. The front des staff is SO helpful and friendly. Im always greeted with big smiles when I walk through the door.Also, they had the CUTEST decorations up for Halloween. I cant wait to see what they do with the lobby around Christmas. :)

Massages themselves are good, but mine have tended to be cut 5 ish mins short. I pay for a 60 min massage but 5 mins of it they have as prep time to leave at the end. So signed up for the membership and was charged for July but then told July was fully booked, had to book in Aug. Also cancelled membership and had to change the date but theyre booked out in Aug again so now have to pay walk in rate for the massage I should have had at the discount rate. Again good massages but customer service and availability is lacking

The minute I walked in the receptionists were friendly and warm. The whole place is lovely and the waiting room was calming with soft music playing. The Cucumber infused water was refreshing. My massage therapist was very receptive to my request and it was a wonderful relaxing experience. Im a naturally tense person and I left feeling better and totally relaxed. Wonderful experience all around.

This place is great and I’d absolutely recommend! The staff are very kind and accommodating, and the memberships they offer are extremely reasonable if you plan to make massage a regular thing.I’ve been seeing Rene for massage for the last few months, and couldn’t be happier! His expertise and technique are the best I’ve ever experienced - my muscles feel so great after. His willingness to take feedback, as well as provide insights and recommendations, are good for beginners. Before I had worked with Rene, massage was not part of my regular routine, but now it’s an essential part of my wellness.

I want to give a shout out to the great customer service offered at LaVida. Everyone is very friendly and Sam the manager went above and beyond to listen to my concerns with a previous appointment and went out of her way to make things right and get me with a masseuse who could provide more targeted deep tissue focus that I was needing. Also shout out to Cameron. She is incredible and provided a lot of insight and stretched I could do to help improve my situation. Only bummer is she was booked out 1.5 months for a follow up appointment….but I get it because she’s that good!Thanks for the service LaVida!

Today was my first time here, my therapist was Lori she is amazing, so soft spoken and put attention to all my problematic areas. The front staff was super friendly aswell and as I live near this has been really convenient for me. I came home feeling refreshed. Took their monthly deal which is so awesome and already looking forward to the next massage! You guys should give this place a go :)

Super easy visit. Still has the fast food line feel of message therapy. But was a lovely relaxing experience.

The massage therapists are all good and professional and my massages have been enjoyable.However, its impossible to book a massage with a monthly membership, within days or even days/weeks in advance. I keep selecting a 60-minute slot, which is clearly marked as such in the app, and they always end up being canceled because apparently they are for 90 minutes. This is misleading, and I feel like the staff keeps trying to upsell you to a 90-minute massage and ignores customers who do not want to go with the misleading option. The app needs to be fixed to reflect proper time slots, and the staff needs to honor the slots they put into the system. I have thought about canceling my membership already a few times because of this treatment and constant inconvenience.

They have an amazing staff at La Vida. I think most people might only focus on the massage or the masseuse when telling friends and family but every single employee you meet at the West Seattle LaVida is always looking out for each other as well as the customers. This is a very important aspect of the overall massage experience if you only receive one every once in awhile. You dont feel like the outsider coming into their world, its more like being welcomed back into the safety and comforts of your own house. Even the first time I went there I felt like I was joining a close community of friends which really helped me feel at ease. Ive been there a few times now and I no longer just want to rush past the front desk and into the relaxation room. For those that have never been, youll start looking forward to everyone behind the desk turning and smiling to you as soon as you walk in, even when theyre on the phone, to help let you know that youre home.Im fairly certain Ive already overexpressed how wonderful I think the massages have been by Melissa, but I also wanted to make sure that everyone who hasnt been to LaVida knows that this is the place you go to when you need to feel completely relaxed. This is the place you tell your friends about. This is the place where you dont have to worry about buying the perfect gift because you know theyre going to take great care of that person just like the staff will always take great care of you.As I say to myself each time I leave LaVida, I very much look forward to the next time I am able to return for another massage.

AMAZING! My check-in was more than expected. I received a telephone call prior to arrival informing me of a minor issue and giving me an opportunity to reschedule. Upon arrival staff at the front desk was awesome. I felt as though I was a member although I was visiting from Atlanta. I was instructed where to park and given ample time to get situated. Renee was professional and his touch was gentle. He also displayed patience for my elderly friend. My overall experience was perfect and I look forward to visiting this location again when I return to Seattle. Thanks guys!

Ive been going to LaVida for 3 years now and I am a member. Ive tried a few different therapists and they are all wonderful for different reasons. I like having so many different styles available to me depending on what my body needs at the moment. The front desk is always so friendly and does a great job pairing me properly. They are open until 10pm too! So convenient. I love LaVida, and will continue to recommend them to my friends! Great spot.

Had a very relaxing massage with Freddie. He checked in with me during the massage to ensure I was comfortable. I almost fell asleep on the table. All the front desk staff I spoke to were very nice and helpful.

I have been going to LaVida every two weeks since March. They have many experienced and talented therapists. If you like deep therapeutic muscle work, ask for Samuel or Lam. The front desk staff is always super helpful and kind. Overall, this is a great place to go.

The front desk staff are very personable and are extremely friendly. Carol was a great masseuse and really helped me with some shoulder and neck pain. She also provided some tips to help prevent the pain in the future. Overall I was very happy with my experience!

Love having a membership here , very quality massage therapist! I have received massage from at least 4 different therapist male and female and they are all very good ! Definitely recommend for monthly self care! The best part is When my massage credits built up I can gift them to my to my boyfriend, they have a great membership program!

While the people at the front desk are very nice, unfortunately the facility is very limited on decent therapists and after trying three, only one, Samuel was professional and did a great job which meant that it was damn near impossible to book an appointment with him. Until they can staff up with solid therapists I would recommend searching elsewhere if you are looking for a consistent experience.

From the moment I entered La Vida Massage I knew I was in the RIGHT place for me. The owners are wonderful people who are determined to make sure your visit will be pleasant and fulfilling. The Receptionist staff greets and makes you feel welcome from the time you enter, and are waiting for you at the end of your session to make sure you are satisfied. The facility is well designed and spotless. I have had four different therapist and they really know their craft. Need a great massage? Its La Vida. I am glad they are in my neighborhood.

Every time I tried to book a 90 minute massage I was told there was no availability or that I could schedule weeks in advance. It was impossible to get a weekly massage from your company. The massage therapist who worked on me for my one appointment was terrible. And Im licensed so I feel like my word counts a little on the topic. Further I was talked into a program that I was unable to take advantage of and had to cancel. Id have to do the math, but Im pretty sure my single appointment cost roughly $300 if you factor in the tip and membership I had to cancel. I was never able to book and cancelled it within the first month. Of course, I was still billed for my final month. This company is awful. The therapist I had was awful. The lack of appointment availability was awful. And I feel ripped off.

My first experience was amazing! After my first massage I decided to sign up for their membership program. By far the best price for a really high quality massage. Renee was my masseuse and he was amazing! 10/10 would recommend!

Excellent customer service these guys have a great streamlined approach to getting your massages booked they are customer friendly and very easy to talk to.Additional I have had great experiences with their deep tissue therapists. This crew is on point with getting in there and getting that tightened up tissue released. I make this part of my health maintenance plan.Thanks guys.

LaVida massage therapists are great and really help relax you. This however is not because of the quality of the work by the therapists. Being signed up for the membership gets you a great discount on massages and based on the understanding was only charged when a massage was given once a month. I haven’t used this service for over a year and found out that I had been charged for the entire year. Roughly $60 (a session) X 12 months = $720 I had paid. I was told I could suspend the account to help to use the ones I have paid for. I went in to talk to the front desk about my situation. The only quick response was she pulled out my registration paperwork and said are these your signatures?... you agreed to pay and just like a gym we don’t call you if you aren’t using it. For me, I work in an apartment building and have residents asking me things all the time. I have a 60 page lease which I refer to a lot of the time. But in circumstances, we do work with the resident to make them happy. If I always said no and didn’t provide the customer service they deserved or try to accommodate them in any way, I would have horrible reviews and no residents. The same experience of no customer service was given here and no care that I had paid for the sessions was given. Without any question it was no and putting it back on me rather than trying to provide any form of customer service. Horrible customer service by LaVida Massage and I will be cancelling my membership once I have used all of my paid sessions.Follow up: the co owner called and provided great customer service and was very understanding.

Ive worked with several incredible therapists there, over the year, Freddy is absolutely amazing! I had horrible, endless low back pain, and within a few sessions it was gone. The whole staff is super friendly. I always feel special and well taken care of. Cant recommend highly, enough.

Welcomed at the door. Spent a few minutes in the zen room and had cup of water with cucumber. The music and lighting were calming. The masseuse was expert and friendly! Overall great experience!

I go to Melissa monthly to have a deep-tissue, Swedish, acupressure massage. She will target any area you are experiencing issues with since the last massage. I also appreciate the zen room before and after the treatment so that you can elongate the relaxing moment. The staff are friendly and attuned to the needs of the client. Convenient parking nearby, too!

Convenient location. Went 2x. Massage therapists were: Carrie and also Kevin. The front desk helped with choosing the right therapist and I was more than satisfied with their reccommendations. Carrie helped with flared pinched nerves, and fibromyalgia. (I was in need of some big TLC also) Kevin was excellent in deep tissue massage. Not a high pressure package pusher place. Zen room is great for unwinding before massage. People are super nice.

My experience was literally life changing. I had never had a professional massage before, and I came because I was experiencing extreme headaches and pain. It wasn’t until after finishing my massage did I truly realize how much pain I had really been experiencing for so much longer than I’d care to admit . I felt like I had received a brand new body, and felt good for the first time in my entire life. It was very emotional to come to that realization. I truly can’t thank Patrick enough for what he did for me in an hour’s time to completely change my life. I will be going back, and have literally told every single person I know about my experience. I can’t wait to go again, and continue to focus on my body’s health and well-being. I have no doubt that this will be a full circle healing experience for my mind, body and soul as I continue to feel better with LaVida and Patrick’s help. So many masseuse options, someone for what you’re looking for. They also have CBD for 15$. It’s worth it. Massages aren’t the same since I started getting CBD. They offer everything you could look for full body massage, Swedish massage, deep tissue, trigger point, specific body section. Everything. The membership is worth it as well. Good price and massage is better to do regularly. It costs as much as going out to eat once and I’m kinda over spending on that. Get a massage!The downside: Nearly all extras are up charges. Most non chain places include heat treatments or CBD, aroma therapy or w/e. Second, the rooms aren’t super vibey. It looks like a chain massage places rooms or a doctors office. My guy in Portland has little water fall things and nice fabrics, I like the zen vibe. Some rooms you can hear people talking and laughing at another business and it’s distracting.Very convenient and great masseuses to find a massage specific to your needs!

I love how convenient the booking process is. You will have the friendliest staff I have ever interacted with. The massages I received here are consistently excellent. The hours of availability make it so nice to book around my schedule. The location takes safety very seriously.

I have been going to LaVida Massage in West Seattle regularly for several years and found that they have many talented massage therapists. And the staff at the front desk are incredibly good at matching clients to therapists who provide the type of massage (relaxing, deep, therapeutic, etc).

However, there is no excuse why a business is to charge their customers for a service that they wont be using, especially during Covid-19.Im utterly disappointed especially because Ive been a regular and loyal customer since 2018.Be wearynof this business establishment.This isnt the first time that Ive been billed for a service that I didnt receive. Buyer beware: The customer experience regarding the monthly plan is terrible. I had a hard time getting in on a consistent basis and ended up accruing 5-6 pre-paid massages. I wanted to suspend to catch up. They would only allow a two month suspension. Then I decided to cancel and they only give you one month to utilize prepaid massages otherwise you have to pay the difference between member price and full price. Timeline to catch up should be longer.

I pretty much like EVERYTHING about Lavida. From the moment I walk in, I feel more calm. The ambiance is peaceful - it smells good, the lighting is attractive, and I particularly appreciate the flavored water and chocolates. Additionally, the ladies at the front desk are FANTASTIC - super likeable, accommodating, and helpful. Lavida is incredibly lucky to have such dedicated, service oriented staff. But my therapist, Geoff, is what keeps me coming back on a very regular basis. Geoff is an incredibly gifted therapist - hes patient, generous (he does 2 hour massages!), and super knowledgeable about the human body. My body has never felt better - Im no longer having hamstring and groin issues. My sessions with Geoff give me the confidence to enhance my workouts. Im a firm believer in self care and Geoff is one of the foundations of my program. Since finding Geoff, Ive increased my massage consumption to at least two massages per month! Geoff is worth every single penny. Thank you Lavida for providing excellent service and attracting extremely talented therapists like Geoff.

The salon is always clean and they serve fresh lemon and cucumber water with free chocolate. Best place in West Seattle by far!

I’ve had pretty moderate to severe back pain for over 7 years now. In all my years getting massage therapy, Jamilla is the absolute BEST therapist I have ever had. She is truly an expert in her field and can pin point exactly where the problem areas are and develop a plan for treatment. I highly recommend Jamilla at La Vida Massage in West Seattle for those dealing with severe recurring pain and have struggled to find relief previously.

Ive been coming here since theyve opened over 5 years ago. It is my favorite place to go for a massage. They have a great selection of scented lotions or coconut oil. I work alot and their monthly benefits program makes me treat myself once a month (sometimes twice I mean ok..... maybe 3 times but whos counting). The staff is amazing and you can truly tell how well everyone works together. I get the vibe that theyre all family. I seriously cant say enough awesome things about this place. Youll have to check it out.

My first time there was horrible lol. I wont go into details but hopefully she is no longer there. They made it up by making my next appointment free...even tho I dont think that person should have got paid.Anyway my experience was amazing with mark Wallace. He did awesome medical massage and was very respectful. I went to him 3-4 times. Then he left :,,(. But they recommended Derrick who is also amazing! Soooo loooove this place! And personally surprised the men seem to do a better job then women... Coming from a lesbian. ;)-

They did a great job getting me in at the last minute after I injured my neck during an out of town business trip. Chris came up to speed real quick on my condition and in an hour worked out the knots and got me back to normal. Chris is obviously very talented - perceptive and strong but adroit in his techniques. Ive seen 7 or 8 different massage therapists here and theyve all been either good or great. I especially recommend Sharonkay Taylor, and Derek Gabreski if you like really strong pressure. Around the holidays they have discounts on gift cards, which you can just buy for yourself and then get a free massage. ;-)

Rene - best massage Ive had in YEARS.Staff / the whole thing - surprisingly welcoming & flexible.I actually RESISTED trying LaVida for ages based on a notion that a chain/franchise would be a sub-par experience. Boy was I wrong!

I have been three or four times and the experience has always been superb. I keep choosing a new masseuse/masseur each time to see the difference between how they work. It has really helped me understand different techniques and develop a vocabulary so I can now ask for exactly what I want to get out of the session.

Thom has been an incredible therapist. He intuitively knows where those knots are hiding and how to minimize them. He is always kind, compassionate and attentive. The front desk crew rocks also, which makes La Vida that much more awesome! Thanks everyone!

It may take a few visits to find the right massage therapist to fit your needs as everyone is different, but with convenient selections offered Lavida is a stand out especially for someone on a budget who needs massage for chronic pain. Ive been going to LaVida Massage for several months now. I have the monthly package and can hardly wait for the month to pass so I can go back ( I can go anytime ) but try to be patient because once I get there its heaven like! Everyone there is phenomenal and always a wonderful experience.

Lam was amazing. The tension in my neck was rock hard. He broke it up and finished off with my feet. I was pretty relaxed on my flight home the next day across the country. I highly suggest you visit and or schedule and ask for him. Great hands!

The massage therapists at La Vida in West Seattle have been consistently professional and talented. Most recently, Kenley was extremely intuitive. She identified key stress areas for me and I left refreshed, relaxed, and pain-free!

Very disappointed. Ive been a member for years and canceled today. They advertise one hour massage but you dont get more that 45 mins. Last time I went I paid extra for a 90 minute massage. The gal started 10 mins. Late and quit 10 mins. Early so I essentially paid for a 90 min massage and got 10 extra mins. I would not recommend becoming a member at this establishment.

I have had nothing but great experiences here! The front desk is always so helpful at finding the perfect therapist for what I need focus on wether deep tissue, treatment work or just relaxation! Highly recommend trying this place out.

Did the membership to get the discount. Did a few massages which were mediocre. Stopped going, wanted to get a refund for sessions i had prepaid for, they refused. Apparently it is not against the law for them to keep your money for services not rendered. Any business that relies on screwing over their customers does not deserve patronage. I urge anyone looking for this type of service to seek out a reputable business that does not use questionable business practices.

I booked an appointment as a frequent customer a month ago. Went in for my massage tonight and they changed the price to a $100 walk in fee .I told them I was not a walk in as I booked a month earlier I on principle I was not pay their inflated rate.They threaten me that I had to pay $100Walk in fee .Very expensive a in my opinion deceptive pricing.No honest pricing on their website either.Not worth it .

When I called I made a appointment and mentioned that I have a muscle separation from my pregnancy.. when I came in 4 days later they asked how my baby was and that meant a lot to see how they remembered that detail, my massage therapist Troy was also informed of my car accident and asked how’re I needed the most help. The desk staff were very friendly and I can’t wait to go back!

You cant go wrong at Lavida. From a warm welcoming check in to communicating easily with any massage therapist. You will get results. Talented staff and great vibe.

My experience at lavida massage was good as far as my massage/service is concerned. MY ISSUE with lavida came 2 months after, with my card being charged twice for a grand total of 119.00. Seeing how I took advantage of the 1 hour 39.95 ONE TIME offer this was a little strange... When I called to get to the bottom of this. I was told that I signed up for a monthly membership and a guy named C. J. (mind you Im not affiliated with a C. J.) was on my account and he was using my card for the membership. I made this very clear, and they promised a refund. Obviously I expected an explanation for this only to be told it was probably a glitch. Not being satisfied with the answer provided; I suggested that it had to be an employee that purposely set C. J. up with my card. Then the associate got short with me and spouted no thats not possible, is there anything else that I can help you with? Id suggest you steer clear of this particular lavida branch.

Good variety of masseuse there whether you want relaxing or treatment. Therapists tend to come and go so can be hard to keep someone you like.

Pleasant experience. Would recommend for a busy parent, quick and organized but thoughtful and thorough. Great job at balancing the ambiance and efficiency.

SAVE YOUR MONEY!!! The ethics of this business is extremely questionable. They book appointments in blocks of an hour and fifteen minutes which is very deceiving as they use your hour for discussion of what you want, undress and redress, leaving you with a 45 minute massage. This has been the case %90 of the time. It is deceiving and unfair.
