Not the biggest selection, but the employees are helpful & polite. I recently came in looking for something very specific for back pain. They didn’t have exactly what I was recommended but had a very similar offering, and gave me a slight discount because I was just short & the budtender “wanted to get me what I need.”It ended up being ineffective for pain but it was a very pleasant, gentle ride, the first time I’ve been able to consume cannabis without having a panic attack (or in combination with CNS depressants to prevent said panic attacks) & I’ll definitely be shopping here again

Every time I have came to the green door, they have always helped me out and always have a great selection. I’ve had a chance to meet nearly all the budtenders, and they are all informative and well knowledged about cannabis and cannabis oil I would recommend anyone in the area looking to buy some weed to come check out the Green door

I visited The Green Door on a birthday trip to Seattle. They have a great selection! The bigger, bearded 🧔🏻 guy immediately helped me and gave me his suggestions. He was very friendly and helpful. I let the owner (older gentleman) know that I was visiting from New Orleans and he gave me free merch, a t-shirt! Overall, great experience. This dispensary is right around the corner from my new place, and I love it. Super easy to get what you want, knowledgable budtenders and he even gave me a bit of a discount because I didnt take enough from my ATM (not suggesting thats a normal thing) but I was very impressed by that. I usually dont have issues with this dispo but today I went in and their was an older lady I believe the owner she was very rude and snappy to customers and her employees. I went to get a mobile order and one of the employees told me he would go to the back and get my order and the owner yelled at Me and the other employee because she didnt want her dog to get out as a owner of a dispensary you should have more respect for your customers and employees.

Best buds in town always my first choice. I recommend anybody looking for great variety products and even better customer service to stop by!

Great company. Had gotten a disposable that wasn’t charged and had let the employees know. They were so cool and understanding, that they allowed me to purchase another one at a discounted price. Very easygoing and pleasant people to be around. Highly recommend The Green Door if you’re in the area. 100% worth it!

I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone. First, staff have no knowledge when it comes to customer services. Two, when I order online & it supposed to be ready when I pick it up, obviously its not ready when I pick it up. Three, I have a medical mariquana card and they still charge me for the sales tax. According to WA State, when you have a medical mariquana card, the dispensary theyre not ALLOWED, to charge a customers with the sales tax. Four, they said, theyre not a medical mariquana dispensary store, but theyre asking for my medical mariquana card number on their websites. Five: I will be reporting this people to the Olympia & let the congress people know whats going on that particular location. And I will also be contacting the Liquor Licenses Bar Association, for charging customers taxes, when clearly they have a proof of medical mariquana card. Shame on you people!!

By far my favorite shop. Not only is it convenient but the people are always so friendly and helpful with recommendations.

The old staff was cool. Been going to this store since it opened and I guess they got a new manager because I had never seen the Caucasian lady working there, I spent 15 min picking out bud and everything, old employee sees me and says yeah we know this guy, but proceeds to lie about never having seen my vertical ID. What a bossy attitude she had. She wouldnt even let me purchase for one time, and I will be posting this review on yelp too. Totally disappointed. Years of coming but I will never come again because of that manager. I recommend you go to Zips or Dockside in sodo. Better products and cheaper.

The staff is friendly but the bud selection is overpriced I payed 30 for 3.5G that tasted like straight dirt I didn’t even get high tasted like sprayed Mid soo I went all the way back there the next day just to get $2 off new bud that’s crazy!! why should I be force to keep something I worked hard and payed for that I can’t even smoke that’s crazy but Lesson learned NEVER AGAIN!!

The green door has amazing hospitality! I felt welcomed and the atmosphere was professional yet inviting the whole time. The owner talked to all of us personally and made the experience that much better. Plus there open until 10 pm the latest I have found in the Seattle down town area!

I tried The Green Door a few times, and I must admit. The staff are friendly and are willing to spend time helping you make a selection, and the prices are very fair compared to other mainstream dispensaries. I also love that you get FREE tacos on Friday and Saturday after doing some shopping.

UPDATE: So they did indeed make it right and exchanged the defective products. However, it was a bizarre experience. This time, the black dude who did security started coming behind the counter and interrupted me and one of the owners while we were chatting. He was telling me and the owner that I didnt know what I was talking about when I was explaining my last experience here. I dont understand why the staff are so defensive and aggressive here. While I appreciate that they exchanged the products, I cant recommend this place unless youre extremely short on time (because its usually empty)Original Review:It was the worst experience Ive had at a dispensary.I just moved up from California, which has some of the worlds best dispensaries, and was pleasantly surprised with the variety and customer service of dispensaries here in Seattle. This dispensary is just a few blocks down from where I live, and I decided to come check it out and get some pax pods. The gentleman who helped was friendly and quickly showed me what was available. I bought them and left them on the table at home for a few days.When I finally tried them, they were not usable. Both cartridges had an acrid taste of chemicals. I tried to bring them back, but when I arrived , there was Ashley to argue with me every step of the way. First, she said she couldnt take them back based on taste alone, I explained that they were unusable and probably exposing my lungs to some kind of damage. She then looked up when I bought them and said she couldnt take them back because their return policy is only a week long. This policy wasnt mentioned when I bought them and wasnt printed on the receipt. She seemed very satisfied to have found something concrete to use to reject my request. After a few minutes, she then explained that she couldnt take them back even if she wanted to because she doesnt have the authority for a return transaction. I asked for a manager, and Ashley said he was unavailable but would be in tomorrow. If she wasnt able to transact the return, why was she arguing so fervently with me in the first place? The whole experience was unprofessional, and she made me feel like it was my fault that I bought defective cartridges. Every other dispensary would have at least exchanged this product. Theres so many better priced and friendlier dispensaries in the area, I doubt this one will last with poor training this girl received.

This is the worst despensary in Seattle, go ANYWHERE. Else the markup is ridiculous,the inventory is trash. Better off going 5 minutes away to zips dockside,Shawn kemps . GO anywhere but here. the store always hs trash selections and everything here is triple the price than right down the road . I see why they never have a line. I would give zero stars

I love this shop. The staff are really chill, caring, knowledgeable people. They try to understand what Im looking for in medicine and fun times. They always have great recommendations for me and my fickle sensitivity. They do wonders with understanding my random descriptions trying to figure out what strains or products to try for more relieving results. I am never disappointed in their recommendations or patience when I get overstimulated in their small shop.

Visited this place from Columbus, Ohio back in early September. We bought some edibles to give out to spread the Seattle love to our friends back home. Everyone was extremely nice and helpful. I dont personally partake due to my job but everyone has loved the products we shared with them.

I agree with a lot of the negative reviews. The costumer service is actually terrible and they transfer their bad moods onto you.I went here a while ago and one of the clerks was clearly annoyed to have been working that day. However, she proceeded to take that frustration out with me. She was seemingly so distracted by her mood she was $20 short with my change, but this was avoided because I fortunately noticed. Either way the entire experience left a bad taste in my mouth.There are too many places with better deals and friendlier service. (Or at least service that doesn’t carry their bad days over to you)

Great social distancing practices, great selection. Im a returning customer and when I went to stock up as Stay-at-Home orders went into effect, they handed me a few packs of matches, which came in handy recently! These guys are awesome! Best shop in Seattle as far as bang for your buck.

The store it’s self is small, and the Customer service while in the store is great.... However, if you are a vapor fan the I strongly suggest that you find another spot.... first off TGD will not take cartridges that don’t work and exchange them. I got a 1 gram cart, I didn’t get close to half way through the cartridge when it started leaking from the bottom all over my battery. The worst part about it is is they’ll tell you to call the vendor and get a refund or an exchange from the vendor well good luck with that. Me or mine will NEVER going there again!!

Had a good variety of edibles, the person helping us was knowledgeable and very friendly. We were in & out pretty quickly. They didn’t have any deals when I went in which was a bit of a bummer, since most dispensaries that I’ve been to do. But overall good! Will go back

Just recently started coming here, staff is super nice, selection of products also decent. Where this place really shines though is there selection of rosin and live resin products.

The older lady working was irritated that I have a medical card and intentionally ignored my question about it.The last time I was here the guy working was excited I had a medical card and told me Green Door is all about supporting medical users and was excited to give me a good discount.The inconsistency of the customer service for these two trips is unacceptable and I won’t be coming back unless that rude woman is retrained or let go.

Super helpful staff. My first visit alone and I felt nervous about it because I am not an expert, but I definitely felt like one by the end of my visit, thanks to the cool guys I talked to behind the counter. I was able to go home with exactly the types of the things I needed and wanted and didnt have to come back about a previous purchases. Thanks again for your assistance!

This is my neighborhood shop, theyve taken the effort to know my name, and Ive always been treated well. The decor is fun. Their presence has also improved our local crime/sketchy activity situation, versus when it was unoccupied, so I also definitely appreciate that. I recommend you check em out.

Edit: They have since updated their policy and allow returns on carts.BE WARY BUYING CARTRIDGES FROM HERE!I bought a cartridge that did not function. I opened the product and put it onto my battery where it would not fire at all. I took it back and they tested the product and confirmed that it was indeed non-functional. I asked for a replacement and was denied. They offered to help me by discounting the next cartridge I buy to 50% off. All other dispensaries Ive been to refund or replace.Spend your money where they care about the customer!

Currently, the budtenders and staff are great. In the past, wasn’t always the case. This is close by for me, so I come here often. Only reason to take a star off is prices tend to be higher here then some other places.

I did not get her name but the blonde budtender that helped me just now (8/12@6:45p) was really the opposite of friendly and helpful. I had never been there and all these products were new to me. She made me feel like a bother trying to ask for info on products and recommendations. She wouldnt let me inspect the product and acted like I needed to hurry up as if there was some rush or that they were closing soon. I read reviews that they were friendly so I felt the need to put it out there that apparently they arent always. #Disappointed

I have had both positive and negative experiences here. One of the negative interactions was when I had selected my items and the tender insisted that it wasnt what I wanted, and continued to tell me I should get this other item. I gave up and just tried to get out of there. I have had other odd encounters like this on several occasions however, I have had positive interactions as well. I have had tenders who are very kind, helpful, and willing to help me look at as much as I want before buying. It all depends on who you get.

Lived in the neighborhood for 2 years and at this point this is the only dispensary I go to. Honestly had a few bad experiences with just not so friendly or helpful bud tenders at first but now every staff member has been beyond helpful and I look forward to their recommendations. Make sure you give them your phone number for rewards tho because they tend to forget to ask ya. But point accrue pretty fast and you’ll have 10-20% off in no time!!It is a small store so don’t expect a TON of variety but for what they have it’s always a good selection!AND WHAT OTHER PLACE HAS TACO SUNDAY?!*good to note I mainly only smoke concentrate so this may not be the best review for flower smokers*

I like both the place and the location. Every budtender except the last woman that helped me on Sunday night was the worst. She did not want to be there and it showed. I like to see a few packages to make my personal choice on flower or oil, when I asked to see another package, she made me feel as if I was the person wasting her time

They USED to be dope. Since they reopened they have apparently lost ALL professional cannabis knowledge and any remnants of customer service. The manager Sal is always the most unpleasant person in the shop by FAR. Not open to any feedback whatsoever and doesn’t care at ALL about the patients. Watched him belittle a customer who was being charged two different prices for the same pre-roll depending on whose working that day. Also strange that no prices are listed on any product whatsoever. A little Sketchy, unfriendly, and not worth your money unless you literally have no other options. Go to Ponder. Much better experience.

Very nice security the ball headed gentleman was very nice and very welcoming but the cashier working on February 22nd at around 5:15pm was rude and looked like she hated her job. Really speaks to if Ill ever come back here again to deal with that.

I have never once had a problem bringing my bike inside. And of all the tourist traps (there is a bus that drags gawkers from Alaskan to here) it has the most reasonable prices on name brand concentrates (dabstract for 45 a g. Not a halfg.)Id like to see more higher end concentrates and more sales or discounts, considering how many places have 1 or 2 discounts hidden away. Maybe a secret discount club for regulars to avoid the tourist trap problem

Super disappointed Robert is no longer at the Green Door he was always helpful knowledgeable! Almost everyone that has helped me has been awesome, Lorence and Jen were cool. Unfortunately, I will be no longer buying here at least not from Heather, or when shes working. Not only myself, but people Ive recommended the shop to have had negative interactions with her. She is not only unprofessional, she is rude. When asking her what I would consider normal questions about thc/cbd content or if a strain is indica/sativa /hybrid... she has been seemingley unwilling to help even going so far to tell me that those questions arent really relevant and unimportant. She shouldnt be a manager of any kind seeing as she is not able to speak to the product, maintain a remotely professional appearance or attitude.

Brought in a cartridge that didnt work so they gave me another battery to use and a little smoke came out and I didnt even get a hit they said they saw smoke so it worked and the security guard told me I was crazy and shut them door on me!!!!

Yesterday at 2PM I walked into this shop and the bouncers asked for my papers please in a German voice. I told him this was a little to close to Nazism for my taste and walked out. He yelled bye at me and I walked out to my car. He followed me out the door and continued to yell bye, bye little girl as I drove. Completely unacceptable.

Been here at lease a dozen times. Everytime I come in I always ask for indica for may lower back and sleep; 4x out of the 12 they gave me a sativa; I do not like sativas!... Tbh I am very disappointed and think that ppl that work in or at a weed dispensary should know whats indica, sativa and a hybrid. I will NOT be coming back as a costumer. Such a shame.🙇🏼‍♀️ 🤷🏼‍♀️

The waiting room was adequate with a cool marijuana documentary playing, but I spent more time there than choosing bud.Mostly due to my verification service delaying things, but also due to small selection and no desire for bulk pricing.I left with my New Guy pre-roll and nothing else.Still looking for that $50 Quarter.

This used to be a great Medical Dispenser before the Rec Change. The original staff was excellent, and kept the high level of quality and the lowest prices. As of now; however, the original staff has all been fired by the owner Replaced with sub-par general management, and lackluster products/prices. My advice as a professional dept of Heath MMJ Consultant in WA with 4 years pro experience; try other local shops who care for their customers and patents, not their personal profits. Normally I dig this place. The operator knows his product and doesnt skimp on quality. But the door staff is absolutely horrible. Hopefully someone will upgrade the staff to match the product 😞 super disappointed
