Woodhouse is always so calm and relaxing. The staff is absolutely wonderful. I see Olivia for waxing services and facials. She does an absolutely amazing job and is always inviting. My last visit I also included the saltroom and I highly recommend that addition as well. Sip some wine and spoil yourself. You wont regret it.

This experience beat any woodhouse experience Ive had. The NEW LOCTATION is everything. I didnt have to fight for parking, and the building was secluded, so all the other sounds of nearby businesses were gone. The new building is so vibrant and so comforting. I wasnt really happy that the price went up a decent amount, so I was unable to tip my masseuse as I would have liked to, but now I know. This was an anniversary gift to my wife, and the couples body balance did not disappoint. She goes all the time and I can understand why so we will frequent this new location a lot more because of the upgrades and less stressful parking. Theres a new room for salts, which I am definitely going to try next time.

My fiancé and I did a couples sessions and it was everything we expected and more! The staff was AMAZING from beginning to end! Our massages were relaxing, effective, and left us relaxed for days afterward! We will definitely be returning! Wonderful job done, all around ✅

I recently had the pleasure of receiving a massage from Jalicia at Woodhouse Spa in Slidell, and it was an incredible experience. From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed and at ease. Jalicias expertise and soothing technique left me feeling completely relaxed. I almost fell asleep a couple of times, which speaks volumes about how skilled she is. Had the most amazing two hour spa day. Here was great it warm leave by the front desk, then was led to a changing room where there were lots of different hair products. Also a robe in a locker ready for me. Service was very serene. Most amazing experience I’ve had after the locker room you wait in the quiet room for your appointment to start where I was approached by Ryan Alexander who actually did my massage and it was so relaxing he was great. He was informative. He took his time. I would definitely recommend this location and receiving his service.

Massage therapist were more then exceptional. The bad review was based off the spa concierges and the unprofessional way of communication. Due to unforeseen circumstances on the business behalf, they were less than accommodating and were unable to up hold their own values. The initial phone call we received started off poorly and ended with a conclusion that we were pleased with and was somewhat accommodating. A call from the business was then made again shortly after, taking everything back that was initially agreed upon. To have to go back and forth with the spa concierge prior to appointment was very unprofessional and stressfully. A day we were looking forward to ultimately resulted in a more stressful and bad experience. We do not recommend. We had another scheduled appointment next month that we ultimately cancelled. We intended on being monthly clients. But, we will now take our business to a different location.

My therapist was Zack and he was great. I went in tense and came out more relaxed than Ive been in years. Conversation was comfortable and didnt feel like I was expected to chat but had the option. He was professional and seemed like a genuinely nice person. Stay awesome Zack

I bought my wife a giftcard for her birthday. When she went to redeem it for a massage that costs over $200 the first thing the masseuse tells her is that she isnt trained for this. My wife says it showed in the massage. When she was checking out to pay the desk clerk asked her how much she would like to tip, even though it was not the best massage she did tip $15 dollars for her time. The person checking her out advised her the tip doubled to $30 and they could not adjust it in their system, and claimed for 10 minutes that the computer system was not allowing them to change the tip amount. Eventually my wife gave in and just paid the $30 tip since she needed to leave. This is not the first time she has been here for a message and the computer system would not do what was needed to complete the transaction correctly. This is either a scam or the result of another untrained person unable to do their job properly. At the end, she was so frustrated that any relaxation the mediocre massage had provided was completely gone.

I love this place! They treat you like your royalty. They treat to my needs and make sure I am relaxed and have everything I need. I loved the massage it made me feel like a new person. They took my pain away and made me feel nice. I’d definitely recommend going.

I bought a massage for my boyfriend for his birthday. He’s a sweetheart, so he didn’t speak up to her about this, but he said the masseuse was rubbing his BONES and not his muscles. I have had this experience before at the Woodhouse location on Canal Street, that is a very painful experience. I’ve been to the Slidell location 6 years ago and had an amazing masseuse who put me to sleep! We need that type of service again! Please instruct the rest of your masseuses to know the difference between bones and muscles!

My 5 review star is more for my aesthetician Savannah. She was very very knowledgeable asked about my needs and wants and delivered. I’ve been to the wood house spa several times. Savanna is overall the best in my opinion! I only wish the people who schedule/answer phones were more knowledgeable when I was booking my appointment. They are obviously not aestheticians or Massage Therapist but very nice. Only negative thing I have to say is I wish the salt room is up and running. It’s apparently been down for quite some time.

Went for my birthday to have a massage and honestly the new location is so much better than the smaller one they had. Besides the building Shelby did a speechless job. There are no words to put for how amazing my massage was.

The workers here are amazing and kind! They ensured that I was relaxed. The two professionals that took care of me were both amazing!! Unfortunately I wish that add ons were explained a bit better. I ended up spending a good bit more than expected. Also I had a gel manicure and unfortunately didnt notice until a good bit later but my polish on some nails is a good bit darker and some a lot lighter than the others. And my nails are wavy due to the gel being thicker in some areas than others. I guess I just expected better from a facility that I spent almost $300 at! The first picture if you look at the top left of my nail the polish is darker than the rest of the nail because it is thicker there which I tried to capture in the 2nd picture. Its clear that the nails arent the same. Of course they arent going to be perfect and all be exactly the same but the color is even different on the same nail. On 5 out of 10 the color on the same nail goes from dark to light. Just not what I expected from a highly recommend and rated spa. If I ever do go back it would be for a facial not nails.

Every year I pick a new place (Spa) to Enjoy my Health and Wellness day, which is the Friday before Mothers day each year. In 2021 I chose this spa. My three sisters joined me, and I will tell you we enjoyed every bit of it. When I made the first call, the customer Service was excellent. Once we arrived that energy continued. Kewani is amazing! Her strength and overall coverage is unlike any other. I walked in full of tension and walked out feeling completely relaxed but still having energy to finish my day. I didnt have certain areas that felt looser than others, and my body felt fluid as though I had a great stretch session. I highly recommend setting up an appointment with her for your next massage.

I went to get a massage to get rid of a migraine I had for 10 days. I get Botox and several medications for migraines monthly but this month I still got one for some reason. I’ve had many massages from many places all over the country and close to home. I was impressed from the moment I walked in. I felt comfortable and welcomed. I loved the environment. I was lead to a nice ladies room with a robe and sandals ready for me it was big and well stocked. I had a personalized locker. Staff was friendly and accommodating. I was asked what I wanted to drink. I was brought to the quiet room to wait for my massage. I was brought 2 of the drinks I had mentioned. The music and drinks were great. I relaxed totally.A gentleman named Andrew came to bring me to my massage. He was Amazing!!! Words aren’t made to describe the talent of this man! I had an upper body massage and when he did my head I felt the pain leave my head. The massage included deep pressure points, turning of my neck and stretching it, hair pulling, circulating movements, I literally can’t describe them all but I was in no pain when I left. It was so relaxing and he is the best masseuse I’ve ever been to!!! Thank you Andrew!!!Then I went back to ladies room for a great shower with eucalyptus spray and great shampoo and conditioner!!! There was everything I needed to prepare to go home. Then there were great things to purchase at the reception area/check in area.It was a wonderful experience. I went there a long time ago. This time was way better than I remembered!Happy customer!!!

My review comes from the place of a person who had their first experience and Woodhouse Day Spa the other day. I was very impressed with the demeanor of the employees the helpfulness that they displayed and their consciousness of social distancing. Theres ample parking an easy entrance. The decor is very relaxing. Now as for the service that I received in that I had an organic facial it was a wonderful experience and I was very surprised and how much I enjoyed it. It is definitely an experience I would recommend to everyone and I certainly intend to go again.

UNREAL. I’ve had massages from several different places- NOTHING like this before. Rashida will change your life! I love a good pedicure and Bridgett was so sweet and accommodating. What I did not expect out of this spa day was to fall in love with facials. I plan to return for this one & wouldn’t do so without asking for Madison. She was incredibly thorough and made this experience so relaxing; additionally, she had some amazing suggestions for my skin. The people here are seriously so talented. My expectations were shattered; they exceeded them in every way. From the dimmed lights, to the serene music, to the heated beds: This was the PERFECT escape and was unrealistically relaxing. Dont bother booking online, their website is horrible. I had booked a couples stone massage about a month and a half in advance, at which point I did not know that I was pregnant. I went in thinking that my husband and I would be in the same room, but apparently they were overbooked. They could have mentioned that we would be in separate rooms when they called the day before to confirm the appointment, but they did not. Then, to make the experience even more disappointing, I almost didnt even get a massage because when I told Cody that I was pregnant she refused to do the massage and told me I would have to reschedule. I knew from previous experience that they performed prenatal massages so I didnt understand what the problem was. She said that they could not do a massage on someone in the 1st trimester. I assured her that I was in my 2nd trimester and also that my doctor said it was fine for me to get a massage, but she still refused. They offered me a discount on my next service but I was still extremely upset. It wasnt until I was able to tell my husband what was going on and that I would be waiting outside that Katie, the one that was giving him a massage, offered to switch and give me a prenatal massage. I enjoyed the massage as much as I could but as emotional as the situation had made me, I was unable to stop crying and could not fully enjoy my experience. Katie was excellent for stepping in and if it werent for her I would not even consider going back.

No wait. Straight to business. Drink of the month delicious. Message was good. Facial was awesome. Mani and pedi were great. Educated about my facial regime and was lead to the correct products I needed. I have combination skin.. Fairly pricy but worth it. Scheduled my next facial and bought the correct products.

I scheduled a woodhouse experience which was about 5 to 6 hours. It was my first time there so I wanted to see what that looked liked. I am highly dissapointed and will not return nor recommend. The massages were totally too soft, my first start was facial and head neck shoulder massage, and just no. I expected to float out of there in a total bliss instead I wished I never went. Professionally the environment was extremely pleasant and serene but my actual overall experience was not. I was burned with hot rocks and wax and again the massage were more like caressing and my manicure and pedicure were not dried completely which caused chaos once I left I got gel polish too so the job was rushed . I am truly not impressed. I was treated by my daughter in law...I get regular monthly spa treatments and now I wish I would have let her book my spot

From the time you walk in you are welcome with a smile and brought back and giving the most comfortable robe you will ever wear and offered a drink of your choice. Mine was Mimosa (s)! My massage therapist Nora was the bomb! She is truly the best massage therapist Ive ever had and I will definitely be returning! My service was topped off with a pedicure and manicure with agave oil! Five star Service from beginning to end!

This is my favorite place in Louisiana! I schedule my massages with Maria. I love Maria! She has a lovely bed-side manner and shes an awesome masseuse. The vibe is so chill at Woodhouse Spa Slidell. This was a Birthday gift and when I tell you she was overwhelmed by the way she was honored and treated. The staff was very nice and pampered her the way she needed to be. The guy that gave her the massage, I think his name was John deserved every tip.

I received excellent spa services from time I walked into the door until I walked out the door. Everyone is very nice, helpful and makes your spa experience a pleasure. I had a 80 minute massage with hot stones given by Hailey. She was wonderful.

My husband and I recently got a couples massage here and were not informed that we HAD to wear masks while getting a massage. We were told this once we were in the massage room. Customers should be informed while scheduling a massage, that they MUST wear a mask while getting a massage. I would not have scheduled a massage had I known this. I am a regular customer and normally have great experiences there, however this massage was NOT. We both left more frustrated than relaxed from our massage. It was a waste of $ and time that could have been spent elsewhere. No other spas that I have been to during Covid19 are requiring customers to wear a mask during a massage. Very disappointing!

HUBBIES & BOYFRIENDS -- take your $ somewhere else. At one time, this spa was what youd expect. However, between my Mom and I (40 y/o & 62 y/o), we have had three issues with showing up for services and them not being provided. One massage was canceled altogether and she drove 40 minutes one way to get it. Like Mom, I was not notified when I showed up for a package in late January (waited to book from Christmas due to their schedule) and was notified when I arrived pedicure couldnt be done. I have tried online and over the phone to schedule this pedicure since JANUARY 21. Its mid-JUNE. The ONLY appt. open was a noon today (its 9:40ish am on a weekday). I was told this is due to the times we are in and also that scheduling with their technicians has been difficult. I completely understand this, which is why Ive tried for SIX MONTHS. I was told Danielle or Kristy would call (managers today), then recd call from a concierge and still have not spoken to a manager. They will let me apply the credit to another service, but that does NOT help when there are no appointments available and I specifically needed a pedicure. REFUSING a REFUND. Poor service, poor scheduling -- DO NOT RECOMMEND.

I just left the woodhouse for my self-care day and Nora was one of the best massage therapists Ive had in a long time. She is sweet, makes you feel comfortable, and her hands are magic. She even did some extra work on my jaw because she noticed it was tense. Thanks Nora, keep doing what you do!

As the saying goes; the first time Shame on you but a 2nd time Shame on me. I havent been back for awhile but was invited by a close friend who just got engaged to visit with her for a service. I chose a massage service that included a couple items including a body scrub and full body massage. The absolute Single characteristic I look for in a spa visit is relaxation which is the last thing I experienced. Ive had many massages in the past and the best Ive experienced are a balance where you are being massaged but its almost like you are alone in the room. The therapist melts away in the background. NOT the case here. I wouldnt be surprise if the therapist I had was new to the job. If she wasnt then she needs some continuing education. The entire process was rushed and every motion and action she took was fast, jerking, and disruptive to relaxation. I did mention this as I left and the staff was apologetic but I wasnt looking for anything because I had already made the decision to. Ever return.Previously I had issues others mentioned in reviews. I used to visit every 6 weeks for a waxing service for over 3 years. In many cases I was asked to move or adjust my appointment but the single time in 3years I had to cancel an apply because of a vomiting child I was charged a fee. I understand the need to do that but 1 time in 3 years when Ive been asked to do the same by them was unacceptable. Plus the young lady I saw lost a long term client. On top of that they charged a credit card Never authorized them to use. That means Woodhouse is storing my Card info which is a Fraud Risk.I wish them luck but they need to improve in several aspects.

Rasheeda was amazing! I’m so relaxed and thanks to her I was able to actually let go and enjoy the massage throughly. It’s a task to turn off my thoughts and she helped me do that. Just the right amount of pressure and comfort. She’s normally at the Metairie location but I will be going wherever she is!!!

My spa technicians was friendly and kind but I still had rough spots on my feet when I left. Ordering a treatment when booking is hard because I had wanted the seaward and did not get that. I was booked for something else. I do not know if I would go back for the price and what I got. I can get better at a regular nail salon.

I really enjoyed my deep tissue massage with Nora! She did a great job working out the tension in my shoulders and forearms. Im so happy I found her! I have been getting hydrafacials with Sheramie and Ami for years and the results are always amazing and long lasting. These girls are the best!!!!

Today, I experienced one of the best massages ever! Quineka made my 80 minute hot stone massage, one that I will always remember! My experience was so amazing, the only disappointment was that it was over too soon!! I felt suspended in time! Her professionalism, skill set, and warm persona and presence just made the experience even more positive. I saved my gift card to use on my birthday to make the start of my bday experience memorable...and it truly was the highlight of my day! Cant wait to go back! I have been coming to Danielle M for over a year for waxing and hydra facials. She is hands down the best Ive ever had. She is professional, relatable, and my skin has NEVER looked better. She goes above and beyond all expectations every single time. Shes quick with a smile and kind word without fail--and its genuine. Some businesses you can tell the employees dont enjoy what they do but not at WDS and definitely not with Danielle.

My massage was great! They greet you with your robe and slippers and after changing you relax in quiet room with a drink of your choice until its time. Great on every point!

Would not recommend getting a waxing service done here I went in for an eyebrow wax and had my skin ripped off above my right eye they were not shaped the same - the lady did offer to try and fix them but I told her it was fine as she had ripped off part of my skin.

Worst place I ever worked in my life!!!! They only let me work 3 weeks before letting me go because they said I wasnt fast enough and I didnt even take my breaks to try to keep up!!! Dont know what they expect!!! Dont ever apply there! Should have sued for wrongful termination!!!!!!!!!
