With all my aches, pains, stress, and mobility issues from surgeries and surgeries needed, I have for many years left Massage Envy feeling better. My provider is very familiar with me and always focuses on my current needs. Wonderful place to go regularly to feel better in your life.
Very money hungry company/ location. They will try to sell their products to you and push you to tip their employees. I made 2 appointments on the same day to use my Christmas gift card of $120. After my facial I was unable to get my massage and had to pay an extra $45 put of my pocket to cancel my 2nd appointment because the price doubled after my first service which was a facial due to me not being a member. Flat service rates would be appreciated in todays society. So I left spending almost $200 for 1 facial. 1st and last time going here if you cant afford the monthly membership Id advise you to seek services elsewhere. A lot of good spa places in New Orleans on Canal St.

Absolutely do not recommend. I signed up for a contract back in March and they failed to let me know of any policy and/or programs that this company provided besides the fact that I could freeze the account. Fast forward , I break my ankle, therefore causing me to place a freeze on my account. The manager , Brittany, mistakenly placed me on Freeze Plus (where you pay 10$ instead of 70$ for the months that you freeze the account), which I was not even aware was a program offered. I never asked to be on Freeze plus! I call the following week because I received a message saying that I still had an upcoming appointment (although my account was placed on a normal freeze, as to my knowledge). I called to make sure that the appointment was canceled and the young lady stated on the phone that because the manager had placed me on Freeze Plus and not just a hard Freeze I would still be able to use the amenities. I very specifically asked her if I would have to pay full price for the massage or would the 10$ (for freeze plus) cover the cost. She stated to me and I quote “No, you will not have to pay full price only 10$ that we’ve already taken from the account”. Fast forward I show up for the massage and once it was over I was asked to pay Full price. I said that could not be right because I was told I’d only be charged 10$ because of being on Freeze Plus. The manager , Brittany, calls me to again try and collect the 70$. I explained to her once again of the scenario and reiterated that I was told I would not have to pay full price. She says to me “yes I accidentally placed you on freeze plus which is where you only pay 10$, but you are not eligible for that program. That was my mistake for placing you on that program” AGAIN HER FAULT! And then was yelled by Brittany and accused of refusing full price payment and she would be contacting authorities on me! Although it was HER MISTAKE for mistakenly placing me on a program that I was not eligible for, and then wanting ME to pay for HER MISTAKE. So apparently, because I “refused” paying full price they are requesting to have me banned from all massage envy’s. Although it was HER, Brittany’s fault, for even putting me on Freeze plus to begin with when I was not even eligible for that program, which I did not even KNOW was a thing! On top of that, the therapist are always late and the staff does not communicate with one another and treats their customers poorly! Never go here.
Horrible customer service!!! I purchased 3 memberships for myself, my daughter, and sister-in-law. We schedule our appointments together every month because we drive a distance to visit this location. The day before our massages I got a call saying my therapist was not available could they put me with someone else, I agreed. We showed up together and checked in. My daughter and sister-in-law were taken back and I sat waiting. After a while I got up and went to the front and asked and was told your appointment is not for another hour. The girl said I called yesterday and I told her she said I would have another therapist and never mention the time change. As we already had our plans I told her to cancel mine and that we would not be back. She never apologized just continued to talk to the other two employees. The staff could careless if you come back or not. It appears rude service is the normal for this location. Extremely disappointed when you pay good money for this service you deserve to be treated better.
Beware! This company coerced my mother-in-law, a senior into signing up for a 12-month subscription when she does not get regular massages and does not really have the apptitude to understand what was being agreed to. After finding out about this, 4 months after the fact, I requested that they allow her to take advantage of the massage appointment that had already been paid for this month (and they even scheduled her to do so just yesterday after submitting the written termination request) but upon arriving, said she was told that she could not. They gave her the option of switching to a 6-mo membership or an instant cancel. The instant cancel is what did not permit her to have the appointment that they scheduled for that day.Massage Envy is really a scam in my opinion. How do you say someone has to have a doctors note to get out of a membership. With written notice, she should be able to cancel and not have to of forfeited her appointment that day. At most it should require 30days notice. My MIL is on a fixed income and it really feels like they took advantage of her. I do not like how this was resolved and they will not get any more business from my family.If you do not regularly get massages, do not agree to or sign up for any of their memberships.Woodhouse Day Spa has been a much better experience.
Been a member since 2020 and I enjoy it. Ive seen Zenobia, Kim, and Katelyn, who are very different, but in a good way, and I always leave relaxed no matter what.I see some reviews talking about bad experiences with customer service and I can tell you that Ive never had a bad experience at all, even joining during covid. Ive had to cancel and reschedule and it was never a problem. I think even if there was a problem, Nathan, the manager, would get it taken care of immediately.Ive had a few facials but my skin is pretty sensitive so its a little trial and error. Havent tried the stretches, but I will eventually!
Was losing hope in M.E. Therapist due to horrible service from several locations around the city until lo and behold I decided to give Slidell a try. Maria was absolutely amazing!!! Now I can stop looking the 34 minute drive was well worth it. The young ladies at the front desk were very friendly unlike the other locations, I will be redirecting my friends and family to this Slidell location. Thanks ladies!! I’ll see y’all soon!😊
Cory is the absolute best! I’ve tried 3 different facilities in Slidell and 6 different therapists but he is my absolute favorite. Honestly everyone there has been amazing
Front desk customer service skills need revisiting, smiling and conversation helps with new customers. Therapist didnt take an hour less than what was charged. Also did not tackle the entire body. Yet, she was courteous as to be expected of her. No membership was offered. First and last time coming here.
I got a massage membership for my birthday for this location, mind you this is my first time ever getting a massage. Anyways, I went in and the front desk lady was sweet. I then got taken to the back where I filled out a couple of questions. After I left, I felt very relaxed. My only complaint from that day would be that the lady who massaged me didn’t really get out any of my knots, but that could’ve been my fault as I didn’t tell her to do more pressure. However, I scheduled an appointment for a massage on 3-27-2022 for 3-28-2022 at 2 p.m. Well, today (3-28-2022) I had an emergency come up, so I called at 12:27 and told the lady at the front desk and she said that they would have to charge me a cancellation fee, and since I have a membership my “cancellation fee” means that I miss out on my massage for the month. I gave them the courtesy of calling. I can’t help that I had an emergency and instead of easing my stress they just made it worse.
I give them a 0 for poor customer service. You could have gave me a courtesy call to come in later. I book a massage which was given to me as a birthday gift. Upon arrival I was told the front desk person was not there so my massage tech ask me if I could wait another hour until the front desk person comes. I said I’ll reschedule but I thought about it. Me wait to spend my money HELL NO. She stated she did not know what forms they use. They all need to be cross- trained and forms needs to be prepared before the client come the day before. They need better management. I will never, ever go there again not even if it’s free. I’m done.POOR MANAGEMENT

I had my first massage at the Slidell location and I couldnt have been happier. The staff was very friendly, and Nathan was so inviting. After having read some reviews, I had requested Corey. The man is a magician!!! He was so personable and put me at ease while he worked out knots I didnt even know I had!!
I called to schedule and appointment today. The lady was very helpful since it would be my first time there. When it got down to scheduling the appointment time I asked if she had 4:30 available. Her response was that they usually don’t do 30 minute intervals so that the employees don’t miss out on scheduling time. She then goes on to say we are here to accommodate you and asked if I still wanted the 4:30 appt. Of course I said yes because that would work better for me, so she scheduled it. About 10 minutes later, I get a call from another worker asking if I could reschedule basically so the employee doesn’t miss out on her scheduling time. I told her to cancel the appointment. As a person that worked in the service industry, it’s about what the customer wants not what the employees want.
I was so excited they were offering a 1st time special because I wanted to get a message for my wife. I went back in after my wife was finished to pay and pick her up. I asked my wife how was the message hoping she would be delighted, and she said, wait a minute and we will talk about it. After paying and we were back in our car, I asked her again. She said the lady that gave her the message must have been almost 70, and had no strength , she said she literally felt like it was a joke. She described to me awkward feel the whole time because the lady was messaging her whole body the way a very small child may do- very little strength and lack of skill. The next day she mentioned it again, and said honestly- it was the worst message she ever had in her life. I feel that is extremely unfair and disreputable to us - enough to warrant this honest review.
This is the most unprofessional shop in Slidell! The manager told me about a special over the phone so after work, I went in to purchase a gift card for my husband for Valentine’s Day. The worker told me no such special existed and when she called the manager I could hear him on the phone. He remembered speaking to me and told her he misinformed me and for her not to call him back because he was picking his kids up from daycare. That’s just bad business on the managers part..well not much of a manager! I will say thank u to them though, because I discovered a much more professional, local place called THE WOODLAND DAY SPA! Y’all should check it out!
I was initially very skeptical. My 1st experience there wasnt great, but the ladies seemed genuinely concerned and encouraged me to see another provider, Brandon. As a result of his service, and the customer service of the receptionist, mostly his hands, lol, I joined. I assure you, you wont be sorry. To be safe, request Brandon.
My massage therapist is great but the manager and customer service are horrible. Speaking with customer service representatives on the phone, I get the impression they could care less if they get the business or as if they dont want to be there. If it wasnt for the professionalism of my massage therapist, I would never patronize this business.
I have been going for awhile and Brandon has been amazing. I leave relaxed and pleased. Next month Ive scheduled a couples massage. Dont know what to expect, it will be my boyfriends first time ever!!
If you have medical issues that prevent you from laying on your stomach, don’t bother making an appointment. They refuse to massage you face up or on your side. Absolute waste of time. The information was included in the intake, and no other therapist at any other location has an issue conducting the massages face up.
I came from St. Bernard to get a massage. I came hours early to shop a little so I stopped in to ask about facials & told them I have an appointment at 5. I came back at 4:50 & they told me I wasn’t booked. Then asked if I could come back tomorrow when I live 45+ minutes away. Very unprofessional. I’m so annoyed! I won’t be back!!!
I was in the middle of a 4 day long drive and had a lot of back and neck pain. I called Massage Envy in Slidell, LA and they had an opening with Katelyn. She was great! Thankfully I was able to continue the drive with much less pain. Thank you Katelyn!
This was my first visit here. I am someone who gets massages very frequently and have experience with alot of therapist in the area. I HIGHLY recommend KYLE at this location. He is very thorough and focuses on the areas you need him too.
1st massage EVER today. I had Zenobia, who talked to me about everything she was going to do. She was very informative, and super sweet. Massage was AMAZING and I feel great after. Never realized how much I needed this. I will definitely be back to see Zenobia!!!!!
OMG, I have been a member for a year. Today, more than ever, I needed this massage & I literally stopped the process midway. Today was THE MOST GODFORSAKEN HORRENDOUS EXPERIENCE! I apparently went it for lotion & nothing more. My massage was awful. A reschedule is an insult to my time wasted, the need today & membership.Update 3/11/19, Spoke to Kim who presented herself as the manager who did absolutely nothing to rectify the situation! DONT EVER WASTE YOUR TIME AT THE SLIDELL LOCATION
I made an appointment a week before my scheduled appt. The day of appointment I called to verify. I was told the lady that does it wouldn’t be there. Didn’t get any callas or messages left on voicemail or email letting me know. I will be going somewhere else in the future
Always have a good experience at the Slidel location. Sorry for just now posting. They practice good social distancing which is a plus.. They give a reminder call and tell you in advamce that you should wear a mask. A company that cares about staff and customers.
The service here is incredible. I absolutely recommend Zenobia for your massage. She is very friendly and makes you very comfortable. She works with your likes/dislikes and needs/wants. She is wonderful. I will definitiely return to see her again! Thank you.
Got a facial here for the first time while visiting Louisiana for work. The service was very relaxing and well worth the money.
I had my first massage here today with Katelyn and it was such a great experience! My back and shoulders have been bothering me for months and I feel 1000X better, and the rest of the staff was super friendly and helpful too
Lets be clear, those 5 stars belong to the masseuse, Kyle. I have been seeing a chiropractor for weeks with the experience of minimal relief, but after one visit with Kyle I was am able to manage my ADLs independently on this morning and have been relieved of immense back and tailbone pain.
Rude and incompetent. Passing the buck has become our new normal and they do it flawlessly. I wouldnt use this place ...ever. AND THE RESPONSE FROM THEM IS A JOKE.. THEY ACT LIKE THEY CARE BUT I CALL AND GOT THE RUN AROUND.
Would not recommend the massage envy in Slidell, specifically the esthetician, Kameron. Don’t waste your time or money.
HORRIBLE ! Ive been there twice and didnt get a massage because i had to reschedule due to them messing something up . First time, I request for a male & female for my boyfriend and i , they scheduled two males . The second time I requested a prenatal massage and they schedule a regular massage . I will not ever go back !
