The dance instructor is THE BEST! Sara B is the best instructor I’ve ever had! I’ll get back to you about the food, service and atmosphere.

Wow. What a fun place! If you like country, dancing like 2 steps, west coast swing/ triple swing, country anything, this is the place to be. Now stay with me.When we got there, there were no cars in the front parking lot. There was a questionable sign taped to the front door with thin lines handwriting enter from the back door. That paper was flapping around and we circled to the back twice, which had significantly more cars than the front, and decided to give it a whirl. There was no signs on any of the doors in the back but we figured it will be OK.Upon entry, a little lady was sitting at the end of a short narrow hallway. It was a Saturday night so there was a $5 cover charge. We got there after dinner so it was a little early but we had our pick of the tables. We settled in the far corner by the bar and had a great view. We dance to a few songs and the dance floor has plenty of space. As the evening went on, they had more line dancing.We ordered the churro since we just came from dinner. They were pretty decent. They also serve regular hot food at a pretty decent price.The restrooms were very clean. The decor was very fun but not like in the old dirty 20 years old way. This place has only been opened for 4 years.Oh and they have a pool area in the Chicken Coop on the second floor. Go check it out and youll see why its called the chicken coop lounge.As we were leaving though around 9pm, there was a line of people waiting to get in. There was one belligerent young cowboy trying to skip the line. That was a little more rowdy than Id like, but thats personal preference. There was a live band, and they played a lot of cowboy classic country, like Miranda lambert. Overall, its a great place to come do some dancing. A fun hangout or even take on a fun date.

It is a great place to learn country dancing and it is a great time. Wednesday nights you can bring your whole family here. It is my 1st time here and it was very fun. It is also very good price that the cover charge is 5 dollars. Sara teaches dances here on wednesdays and sundays.

Love this place. Its like being back in Texas. Lots of dancing space. And love the Chicken coop upstairs.

This place is like a second home to me and my friends! I respect and love the staff! They have always treated me and my group so well and consistently create a fun and inclusive environment. You get your monies worth in alcohol, food and the overall experience! You get what you give, and as long as you come in with a fun positive attitude, that’s exactly what you will get in return! :)

AWESOME!!! An actual, legit, country bar! Woohoo!!! Live band NV 445 was awesome, owners are friendly and out on the floor mingling with everyone and appreciate their clientele. Plus.... It isnt tied to a casino filled with cigarette smoke.

Nice dance floor- great surface and ample space. Fun line dancing lessons several days of the week. Good service. I didnt try the food though. The people were fun and put out a great vibe. One big problem for me is they are all about line dancing and if you dont know the choreography you are left sitting around watching others. We enjoy country swing, but rarely got a chance since every song seemed to have line dance choreography associated with it. If you are into line dancing, this is a fabulous place. Just wish the balanced that it with more open country swing.

Pure Country offers dance lessons 6 nights a week. You can learn a multitude of line dances from beginner to advanced and older to the latest dances. They also offer a variety of couples dance lessons from mixers like the barn dance to a traditional 2-step and even swing. No other location around caters to such a broad range of country dance styles. While I have my preferred dance styles, I appreciate the opportunity to expand my repertoire. And they post their lessons calendar for the whole month so you can see what lessons are coming up.That’s not all that makes them unique. Their DJ Jeremy McGuigan pays attention to the room and tries to make sure to play songs that get everyone on the dance floor. Not everyone feels comfortable making song requests and Jeremy wants to make sure everyone feels welcome.

🤠Pure Country Canteen is my second HOME!! I’ve been coming here for almost a year now. This place is the best place to get your boot n scootin’ on. PCC is the friendliest, most accommodating Country venue Ive ever been to. Ive never seen a bar/nightclub care more by offering lessons and dancing 6 nights a week. Cindy, bar staff and the entertainment team are AMAZING! I love this place and have always felt welcome here. 💜

Best bartenders, especially since they are always busy! Just a great time all around! Who doesn’t love to drink and dance? They teach you line dancing for free! Vicky is so energetic, friendly and patient. She explains the dances so well! And Jeff made me a few amazing drinks called “sex in the country”, and “Lavender lemonade”, which is made with a local whiskey. I love bars who support local. I do recommend trying it! “🎶I love this bar🎶”!

New years eve 2021. Buffet and band. Everything is great. First time here they put on a great party.

Fun atmosphere on Fridays. Only a $2 cover, which includes two different lessons if you get there by 7pm. You get one partner lesson and one line dance lesson, taught by Tim and Mandy. I look forward to it every Friday!

Such a great country saloon. Live music, line dancing (and lessons if ya dont know how). Youll meet the most friendly people in town there.

Bartenders and drinks are great, but that’s about it. The DJ only plays NEW line dances that you won’t know unless you take her dance lessons. If you want to actually line dance I recommend you go to their lessons, otherwise you won’t know any of them. They don’t do four corners, copperhead road, cupid shuffle, etc. Fyi, it’s nothing but college students. 10/10 don’t recommend.

Loved this place when it first opened, its still hopping and fun, however if you pay a cover on a Saturday night, get your wrist stamped, step outside to grab something, you have to wait in line with all the new arrivals which could take an hour to get back in, my drinks and my friends had to wait for enough people to leave so I can get back in, what?! Not sure Ill return, that new policy is ridiculous, so any time you step out you may have to wait forever to get back in, even though you paid already, everywhere else does NOT do this, no thanks.

This place is really fun. Some regular dancers are there and are really fun to watch. Line dancing is a blast! Make and female dancers share the floor and are all ages. The bar is well stocked with many varieties of beer and they also serve hard liquor. Their liquor wall is well stocked. Pool, boxing games are there. Table and chairs, bar seating that faces the dance floor. Saturday nights are for live band music and dancing. Young and old a like. The simple bar menu is really good food! The only place too have country fun!

It a great place to hang out at be able to learn line dancing and couples lessons 6 nights Wednesday are family nights to come with your kids and have fun with all the whole family the owners are always good people will always talk to all the customers

Pure Country Canteen is just that, Pure Country. The atmosphere is laid back and the staff is amazing. Everyone is friendly and service is on point. The food is amazing especially the Roasted Turkey. NV Hazzurd was playing while I was there and we will definitely come back when they play. They played songs for any type dancers and it was hard to dance most of the night because the dance floor was packed. We will definitely be here a lot. This is a must to check out.

Met some friends and enjoyed the live band NV445. Band was awesome and owners were extremely kind! It was awesome to go to a real country bar, bot tied to a casino. No lame DJ only playing line dance songs, men could dance with a girl to a slow song!

This bar is set up like a real country saloon with a big dance floor and good size stage. The food and the staff both were great. The bartenders pour like they are in a bar and not a casino. Lastly, a real country honky tonk always has live music. Great job PCC!Frank G.

Came here for the first time a couple weeks ago, the atmosphere was fun, and loved the line dancing, however the band NV Hazzurd, was really bad. Off pitch.. I’m not trying to be rude, but it definitely put a damper on the experience... when the DJ came out to relieve the band for breaks, it was a blast, but the band kept making my friends I want to leave... the dance floor was practically empty when they were on stage.. also I’m sure Covid plays a part in being under staffed but it took almost 30 minutes just get the bartender’s attention to close my tab.

Small little country bar. The dance floor is always popping so if you like line dancing then this is the place. The Ruben is delicious but so is the pulled pork

Small bar, with no waitresses so you lose your seat if you get up. Bar staff slow as molasses. No outdoor smoking area. Lame excuse for a country bar.
