I arrived at 10:35-10:40. Was greeted and checked in and had a seat. My appointment was for 11:00am. 2 other ladies walk in around 10:55 mark checked in and sat down for a sec and went back.. it’s now 11:05 and male masseuse comes out and I go to the desk and tell the lady that I booked with a female . She checks the system and says well I don’t know what happened you booked online. I book online all the time with them and have never gotten it wrong. So I’m even more irritated at this point in a place where I’m supposed to be relaxed. I tell her to cancel the appointment- I’m not comfortable with that masseuse. I go out to my car only to see that my membership credits are gone. I go back. She then tells me it’s going to have to go as a cancellation- at this point I’m like I paid for the membership, I’ll just deal with him this time.. stress level on 10. He comes out and tell me it’s already too late and we are past the time— please remember I stated earlier he didn’t come out until 11:05- so who actually was late??? Never again. Not to mention I drove all the way from Rosharon for this appointment. And please let me add the customer service or lack there of was completely trash.

I can’t rate it by experience because the staff was very unwelcoming and gave us faces like we didn’t belong there. We were in the area and wanted to stop by for a massage.. weren’t aware of the appointment only but they were not friendly or welcoming at all. They could have been friendly and tried to schedule something for us but I won’t bother setting an appointment seeing the way their staff is

Traveling and decided to indulge. Scheduling was quick, they had time slots open that met my time window. Check in was quick, Elizabeth was terrific, great pressure and listened to my feedback to target my flexibility and tight spots. Clean, easy to park and lots of shopping nearby. A win!

I should’ve seen the red flags upon walking in, immediately pressured me into signing up for a membership without even first allowing me to try their services. I’ve had massages all my life, I figured this place would be great since it’s conveniently close to home. I signed up without trying it first, bad mistake. I’ve had three massages, and they’ve all been bad, as in, the worse massage of my life. I thought the first masseuse could be a fluke, but I’ve tried three different people and it’s all been consistently bad. All the bad reviews on here are consistent with my own experience, not enough pressure, masseuse do not listen to your requests, even when you can’t breathe, etc. When I signed up, Chantel at the front was so nice, said canceling would be as easy as giving a 30 day notice via email. I’ve been trying to cancel for two months and the Owner, who has to approve the cancellation, does not respond to my messages. Do yourself a favor and DO NOT SIGN UP FOR A CONTRACT AS YOULL BE TRAPPED IN IT FOREVER. This place is a SCAM.

I went in to get a massage this evening for the first time and it exceeded all of my expectations. I feel terrible that I forget my therapists name but he did a FANTASTIC job. I went in with a terrible migraine that had lasted over one week and came out totally pain free. The gentleman at the front was also very kind and explained the process thoroughly. From start to finish everything went perfect. 10/10 HIGHLY recommend this place!

I really wanted to love this place but I didn’t. The day I came to buy my husbands gift for Father’s Day i was greeted so well, and was happy I had found the perfect place for my husband and I to relax. The day of our massages came and I expected the same kind of service I was given in the front, but it was totally different in the back. I requested a prenatal massage, and due to this experience I never ever want to get a massage again. The lady that did my massage was rude. I asked for two pillows because I am pregnant I cannot lay completely on my back. When I asked for the second pillow her tone was so uncalled for and questioned as to why I needed it. I told her because I am pregnant and it feels very uncomfortable to lay completely on my back. She dismissed my request and didn’t even explain if there was a reason why I couldn’t get a second pillow. She then started to give me my massage and I was not comfortable at all I could not relax because she was being so rough, I didn’t even want to tell her to be more gentle because I felt that she would dismiss my request since she did It from the start. After like 30 minutes of me making facial expressions she asked me If i felt uncomfortable and I said yes because the obvious. The fact that it took her 30 minutes or more to realize that is unprofessional. Then she said it was time for my back when she massaged the first half it was all great then the second half my head was literally almost hanging from the bed I kept trying to fix myself and she never once offered to give me time to adjust myself or help me get well on the center of the bed. I also didn’t like that the bed was heated and due to my pregnancy I shouldn’t be exposed to heat for a long time. The whole time I was laying there I felt that she did not know what she was doing, I couldn’t relax because the lady was being so rough and did not show compassion. I regret spending so much money for a service I did not enjoy. Also I did not like that I was never made aware that they would charge me $60 extra just because we had a couples room, they never once told me of that charge when I booked the appointment they just waited till the end and obviously I was not going to argue but if I would of known from the start I would of never had requested it.

Best massage therapist Ive been to. My therapist name is Vanessa. She helped me more than any other place Ive been to. I would recommend her. Front desk staff was friendly too. I bought 4 more session package after first visit.

Worst massage experience ever would never go back! I signed up for a 60 minute massage and requested a female therapist. Once arriving 5 mins early they got me in the room 10mins late! They gave me a male therapist though I did not ask for this! The therapist only worked on me for 40/45 mins and said we’re done. Completely ridiculous. I didn’t even get the full time I paid for. On top of this he was giving me a massage as if he didn’t even want to be there! I had a gift card given to me by a friend and because I didn’t use it within 2 years they said there’s no funds. Had to pay in full specially for time I didn’t even receive and they asked me to tip the therapist multiple times even though I didn’t want to. After continuously asking me I tipped 10 so they would stop asking. After payment the receptionist kept pushing the membership on me even though I kept saying no! Overall worst massage experience of my life would never go back!

My masseuse (I think his name was William) was very informative and personable. He took the time to recommend stretches and suggestions to improve my health, body, and mindset. I left feeling like a valued guest. The massage itself was very relaxing too. I loved the atmosphere and smell of lilac.Overall, this was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had.

Location was excellent. Vibe was good.My masseuse talked way too much which I didnt appreciate. Wanted a relaxing experience where I could enjoy some peace and silence.The massage in itself was great but the talking really made me want to never come back.On the plus side my hubby had a better masseuse and he enjoyed his experience.

I used to love coming here but when the pandemic hit I was not able to come in. I asked for my account to be paused which they did initially, but then charged me again for a monthly fee knowing I could not come in. They did not communicate at all! No email, no notification, just a charge that showed up on my account. Most companies including my gym, place of residence, energy company have been great about communicating and understanding during this time, so I was shocked by this. I have a few credits left at this time so I called to speak to them to figure out how I can either get my credits back or get the service I have ALREADY paid for. The manager was very nice but completely unable to help me. She gave my info to a regional manager, which I’m sure you already guessed it! She NEVER called me. I’m very displeased with the services here and would never recommend anyone.

Always a great massage here. Been a member for many years and wouldnt ever switch to any other brand. They have the best trained staff of all massage parlors

Went here for only my second-ever massage. First was at a bathhouse and spa in Arkansas, but once I got home I wanted to see about regular massages. Pricing is reasonable compared to some other places. First visit is $50 for an hour massage, including free aromatherapy (though they didn’t say it was free, so I opted not to get it, thinking it was a surcharge); otherwise about $80 a month for one massage a month membership, or $100 each stand-alone visit without membership. My massage therapist was friendly enough. One thing to note: they definitely want undergarments on. Legally you have to be covered with a sheet anyways, but most places will work with your comfort level and my therapist was adamant: keep your undergarments on. Didn’t bother me either way, but so you know. She was thorough and did a good job, but my issue was that she was a bit boney. It might work well if you have knots that need to be worked out, but for me it was just painful at time. Full body massage included head, arms, upper and lower back, shoulders, hands, calves and feet (including removing callouses). Left feeling mostly relaxed, but a tad disappointed; perhaps a male masseuse would make a difference (thicker fingers)? Though I probably should have said something and she could have adjusted her technique.

I paid for a deep tissue massage, selected the pressure on the iPad paperwork, and discussed it with the massage therapist prior to the massage. When he was doing medium-pressure, I politely asked for more pressure, but he informed me “that’s not what you want” and proceeded to explain to me that deep tissue massages are bad for you and don’t loosen up the muscles.I’m not sure why it’s an option to choose then, and why he agreed to it during our discussion.I didn’t get what I paid for. Then when I talked to the receptionist about my experience, she said her manager would give me a call back. It’s been several weeks and I never received a call, refund, or any communication.

I get a massage about once a month when I can and when I miss I book a 2 hour massage the next time.. Having the membership is what pushes me to take care of myself and give myself this treat. Dena Newman is excellent. The massage relaxes my muscles and therefore my mind and I start my weekend feeling relaxed and happy. The facility is clean and quiet. The staff is friendly and helpful. I look forward to every visit.

Customer service needs work here. When I first visited I was talked into buying 3 hours at a members rate. I was given the impression that I could use those hours anytime through December. It sounded like a good deal so I purchase it and set an appointment for October. Everything was fine and I set another appointment for Nov 30. I received a call a hour and a half before my appointment telling me that my time expired on the 24th and I could pay non member rates or cancel the appointment. I asked why they did not tell me this when I made the appointment and was told they don’t check those things when they make appointments unless requested. Ridiculous, I won’t be going back.

Horrible. Staff isnt friendly at the front desk. Also, I was told over the phone I would be able to have a trial membership with my $150 gift card. Then upon arrival I was told it would be over $200 for a trial membership. Over $200 for just a trial is a horrible deal. Wish I wasnt lied to, not sure if it was over the phone or at the counter. Either way the girl at the counter wasnt friendly at all. Wouldnt be so upset if the counter girl was a little nicer.

I purchased thier monthly program and was told the massages I didnt use each month would accumulate. As of today I had 12 credits or 12 hours of massages that I had already paid for in advance. I cancelled my membership in March and informed them I hadnt gotten a massage each month like I had originally intended. She informed me I had 12 credits/hours. Today I called to schedule a 2 hour massage and told her I would like to use 2 of my credits. She indicated that I have no credit available and that I had to use all 12 within 30 days. This was never told to me when I signed up nor when I cancelled.

I bought a massage for my husband birthday and he was happy with it. They call you to remind you about your appointment, they are polite and the place is very clean and nice smell.I would be happy to go myself.

Do Not trust anything the front office tells you. All they are looking after is your money. I was hesitant about their membership and they assured me that there is no hidden costs or hidden rule (multiple people working there did) and I could cancel anytime without any consequence and it was all lies. They have overcharged me for tips multiple times here. DO NOT TRUST ANYTHING THEY SAY.My situation was resolved after this review.

I was a member of MH for years until recently. My massage therapists and staff provided great services and no complaints there. In Nov and Dec 2020, I contacted MH Sugar Land and the Corporate office and asked them to disclose the legal and ethical considerations in charging monthly membership fee during the months when they shut down per the Governors mandate. In specific, I asked that SL Massage Heights to have a statement on the companys website addressing the legal aspect of members being charged for the months the business is shutdown with contact information for members to reach out with questions/requests. Both MH SL and the Corporate office did not provide a direct response addressing my question and request. After I asked their attorney to forward to me the terms of the membership contract, they refunded the membership fees that I paid in 2020 for a total of $539.91 and closed my membership. I never did ask for a refund. Only that MH be more transparent in their business conduct. I also do not care to continue my membership, so I will settle this by 100% matching what MH refunded with my own money and plan to also ask my company to match. The total will be 4x the refund and it goes back to our local communities as I will make a donation to a qualified non-profit organization. So, MH - although it was not your intention to support our communities with this refund, know that doing the right thing does benefit others who are in needs.

Massage Heights has gotten VERY busy and all the great therapists are often booked several days, and sometimes weeks out. It was refreshing to get someone next day because it was her First Day at Massage Heights! Great massage will book her again - her name is Coco and she is Gujarati - so she understood my Navratri Garba knee injury LOL.

Massage therapist was nice, however she started five minutes late and finished five minutes early. I also feel like the tipping is pushed on you - signs are everywhere indicating tip amounts and when I told the front desk I would be tipping 15 % they asked if I would like to round it up (making it to 20%). Just felt like I was getting pushed. Therapist also used gloves for parts of my body which I thought was a little odd considering I have no illnesses, open sores and am a healthy 30 year old!

I have been going here and seeing Melba for over 4 years now. She is very knowledgable and caring and does a great deep tissue massage. She truly cares about helping me feel better every time I see her. Ive always had horrible back pain due to surgeries and its always a relief to visit her. Ive tried other massage therapists in the past, and after finding Melba I wont go to anyone else.

I’ve been a customer for over 4 years and recently tried this location. (Aug 2022)I was not impressed with my masseuse technique of draping and use of hot stones so I asked the front desk for suggestions on which therapist to try next; I was told to just go somewhere else if I don’t like what I get.

Excellent service. I have gone to this location for years now and have been impressed with all the massage therapist. Most recently, I have been going to Lake. She does a wonderful job of working through the tense spots in my back. I would highly recommend.

Elizabeth was fantastic, paid attention to my specific needs as requested. I will definitely be returning due to her outstanding service.

The massage was good, my complain is I booked for a 60 minutes session but actually got 48 to 50 min massage. Why says 60 mins if only performed 50 mins. thats misleading. My best friend is a massage therapist and she said if I booked for 60 mins, then I should be getting 60 mins massage. Id like to hear back from massage height in regards to this matter.

I got my membership as a gift, every time I want to book an appointment they are always booked, I don’t think they have enough staff. I don’t know what to do with my membership, I only went twice.

Ive been going to Massage Heights in Sugar Land for 8 years. They have a very friendly staff with great massage therapists. I have consistently received 5-star service from them.

I made an appointment Saturday August 26 at 5 pm, place was closed.They never called me or send a text message to cancel the appointment.If I cancel close to the appointment time they still charge me. I am very disappointed with Massage Heights at Lakepoint in Sugar Land.

I had a great 2 hour hot stone massage by Deena. The staff was friendly and everything was very clean. I left feeling super relaxed!!

Love coming here. Ive been a member since it opened. I tried several other places before and after my membership and Massage Heights wins always, hands down!
