A & First Acupuncture and Massage

Texted & reconfirmed multiple times to get an appointment for a Ashiatsu walk on the back massage. When I arrived they tried to bait & switch me to a standard massage. Wasted a lot of my time. Unprofessional & unethical in my opinion.

Julie has magical hands. She will find knots you didn’t know existed and work them out. Thank you so much!!! I love this place and definitely will be returning. I strongly recommend. Also the decorations and atmosphere are beautiful and calming.

No one at reception and the owner Julie did a terrible job at keeping the appointment organized. She at least booked my appointment wrong three times. She talked a lot of herself including complaints while doing massage which I find inappropriate and makes me hard to relax and rest, and she kept asking me to write recommendation reviews for her which makes me feel very uncomfortable. Julie has good techniques but I would not recommend this place for the above reasons.

10/10. All the massage therapists know what theyre doing. The place is wonderful and id say the best massage place ive been to in the bay.

My boyfriend and I went for valentines day and we will most definitely go backIt was my first time there and let me tell you it was an amazing experience. The staff was professional and the place was super clean. When I walked in, the atmosphere instantly relaxed me. My boyfriend and I went for a couples massage in which we had our own rooms, super relaxing and peaceful experience. I would highly highly recommend this place!!

My family, including me, my husband , and my daughter, has received massage service from Julie over 2 years. Julie is excellent in customizing the massage service based on each medical condition. My back pain is greatly reduced with her weekly massage. My husband has tried acupuncture and cupping services to treat his stiff shoulder. My daughter also got relaxed from her volleyball practice via massage service. Julie has flexible working schedule to fit our family needs, even at evening or weekend. The clinic is very cosy and neat. I really recommend this clinic.

Julie has been my acupuncturist for years. She is very knowledgeable and friendly. I have been suffering stiffness and pain in my shoulders for years and Julie has been helping to relieve me of that. She is really good at what she is doing. Every time I walked out of the clinic after the treatment I felt refreshed. The clinic is very clean and comfortable. Highly recommended.

The best professional massage I have ever seen. I got a pain on my back neck extended through my right hand arm due to bad position sleeping and gym and after waiting one week it got worse and I went to Kaiser and Doctors said its muscle strain and recommended Ibuprofen but I didnt work. I decided to try a massage and found this place on google search. She did very professional massage and the pain gone away at the same day.I highly recommend for muscle pain relief.

A very clean, soothing environment, and a great place to get acupuncture & massage. I had a left shoulder problem for several months, but after their acupuncture and massage around my neck and shoulder areas I felt much better after a few visits. Christine and Julie are very professional and the best of what they do. I highly recommend this place to anyone.

Took a business trip to S.F last week, and definitely had to good back to visit the place. The placed always looks very neat and clean.The masseur ( Julie )_ gave me a very excellent full body massage . She did help me eases my back pains. Im very happy with the result after. It felt like a big rock just lifted from my back & shudders ( thank you so much ).I will definitely come back every time when I travel there on the business trip. highly recommend this place.

Amazing deep tissue massage by Tina! It was very effective without being painful, which in my experience is not easy to get for deep tissue. Will definitely come back.

I did not believe acupuncture before, but they totally changed my perspectivesI had a problem with my shoulder and reached to the point that I was so desperate to try anything. My first time they spent extra for me.. After visiting many places for my shoulder and I know they are very knowledgeable.After several treatment My range of motion is almost back to normal I can see heading to recovery with much less invasive mannerI am happy that I walked in to this place

The best massage experience I’ve ever had. Environment is very chill and clean. They provide snacks and drink as well. Everything just makes me very comfortable and relax. Masseur is very nice and passionate about this job. This is definitely my top choice of massaging. lol

Im a repeat customer here. Sitting in the office the whole day does put stress on my muscles, going to gym is not making it much better, so here comes this place. It is conveniently located, but beware of the Farmers market on Saturdays - it could be harder to find parking at that time (although there is plenty of space on the side streets). Place is spotlessly clean and Julia is a very friendly and professional.

Julie is superb! She helped accelerate the recovery time for my frozen shoulder problem and other muscle movement challenges. Professional, courteous and helpful. Highly recommended.

I recently had a massage with Tina at A & First Acupuncture and Massage, and it was absolutely amazing! From the moment I arrived, Tina’s warm and welcoming demeanor put me at ease. Her skill and expertise were evident throughout the entire session. She listened to my needs and tailored the massage perfectly, working out all the tension and leaving me feeling completely rejuvenated.It was one of the best massages I’ve ever had, and I highly recommend Tina to anyone looking for a truly exceptional experience. I’ll definitely be returning for more sessions with her!

Cheating! ! This shop is particularly unreliable. It said before that the massage could be covered by insurance and that you could return it after paying. After a few times, they turned against each other and refused to apply for insurance. They told me to just pay for the massage out of pocket, with a bad attitude. Absolute consumer fraud! Dont believe it~ Even if you are not asked to pay first, dont believe it. It will happen if you are asked to pay the bill later. This store has no credibility at all!

The owner is very enthusiastic and the massage techniques are very good. You can receive HSA or FSA.
