I didnt get to eat the food, but theres live standup comedy on Wednesdays!!

They have 3 pinball machines, 2 pool tables, 2 electronic dart boards, a jukebox, an ATM machine, and all sorts of memorabilia on the walls and ceiling available for their patrons to enjoy!! The atmosphere can go anywhere from calm and mellow during midday, to exciting, jovial, entertaining, and filled with dancing and laughter in the late evenings. As far as the patrons, they has a great, blended environment; so no one will feel out of place if you decide to go. So... if you want to go to a place where youll feel welcomed and have a great time, then Paul & Harveys on Murphy Ave. is the place for you!!🥂🍾😅 *Photos to come...!

Fun little spot with a range of different flavors of folks. They only accept cash, so be prepared. They do have an ATM but who wants to pay ATM fees. They have pool & darts. There’s not much space to dance but people still find a way. The music is what the crowd chooses, so be prepared for anything! They don’t serve food here, but there’s lots of great restaurants around and they allow food to be brought in. Lots of seating & tables available plus a long bar to sit at! There’s also a parking lot in the back and plenty of parking all around and on the street in front. Located in DT Sunnyvale, a fun lil spot!

Cool spot to hang out and have a drink and chat with some pals. Bartender was very friendly. They have a few pool tables, pinball and electronic jukebox with good speakers.

Paul Harveys is a place that a lot of locals go. It is located in downtown Sunnyvale. It is positioned right in the middle of the main downtown street (the street is closed to cars). The staff is always friendly and happy to help you. A big mix of people is the norm. The bar is bigger than most I have seen in the area. It has 2 pinball machines, 2 pool tables, touch tunes, darts, and just the right amount of TVs. The nightlife has multiple places open until 2am. Parking is not fun. It gets full quickly, but there are other parking lots across the street near Target. The atmosphere has lots of charm and things to look at. The prices are lower than some of the other bars in the area, but they do not accept credit cards. Cash only, so come prepared or be forced to use their ATM.

This is a fun little cash bar. I stop once or twice a year when Im in Sunnyvale. They often play good music on the jukebox, and they serve good drinks.

Really nice place and owner amid this place also owns several other bars in area we found outReally annoyed as after we ordered our beer we found out it was cash only. Not end of world but why not tell us before we ordered.

I definitely enjoyed it. Downtown Sunnyvale bar. Great location. Plenty of parking everywhere. People were friendly. Music was going by way of the jukebox. People were playing pool and darts. Long bar with what that night had 2 bartenders. Helpful and friendly. No particular group of people gathered it was a variety all around laughing and engaging. Bathrooms were not the most clean and needed attention. There was an entrance/exit on both sides of the bar. Id definitely recommend as a place to enjoy and be yourself. Almost forgot, drinks were priced nicely.

I loved the vintage register and cigarette vending machine. Sad i didnt get to play pinball. I appreciated that the bartender made the drink I ordered although he did not know what it was, he did his best to follow the directions i pulled up and did a pretty great job. Tasty cocktails, wish they were a couple dollars cheaper.

Perfectly fine bar with history -- since 1937? Same era as the recently-departed Pattys Inn. In a nice location on Murphy St.. Plenty of big screen TVs. Nice beer selection. Standard prices for the area. 2 pool tables. Cash only.

Went to visit a bartender friend working there and was approached by another female customer who instructed me to leave. No clue why but guessing because I wasnt a regular. Guess she didnt like me talking with my bartender friend. Very scary situation. Didnt bother bring it up to my bartender friend. My husband and I just left. Wont be back. Shouldnt have to be afraid to visit a bar. But there you have it.

Neither bartender put up with shenanigans from rude customers, they fix a nice drink, and pool tables, pinball machines, jukebox, change machine, and dart boards were all functional, which is a miracle for a bar.

Charming! Wonderfully divey/dicey break from the Sunnyvale morass. Although cocktail-oriented, they have a great beer selection, too. Staff was fun to talk with, the crowd quite interesting. It also appeared there were some very skilled billiards players. Cash only.

Super rude bartender. Cash only. Ordered a fairly uncommon drink but was rudely criticized about it to the other bartender and to random patrons at the bar. Then was told that I need to pay in American dollars... Said slowly. Definitely wont go back there.

2024 Super Bowl ran out beer and alcohol during the 1st quarter

From what I understand Paul and Harveys have been open for over 80 years pinball a pool table they have about four pinball machines thats pretty good you cant usually find those many places anymore very nice place to go to socialize and have fun safe fun girl with a designated driver if you have any drinks you dont want to get a DUI I myself dont drink I went in there only to see a pinball machine my friend was fixing

Nice local bar in historic down town Sunnyvale, Ca on South Murphy ave.More like a local neighborhood bar P&H has pool tables, darts, digital DJ & other fun games & activities.

Sometimes you just want a bar with the atmosphere you expect at a bar and boy does Paul Harveys deliver

Friendly, cash only dive. Pool table isnt open yet due to COVID but still a chill atmosphere and nice place to kill a few hrs

What a great place to play pool and enjoy a cocktail or two. Went there with my girlfriend Claypool enjoyed a very social crowd and wonderful service from the bartender what a beauty she is.

Local dive bar, 3 pool tables, generous drinks and attentive bartender. The place could use a good cleaning but other than that a good place to go play pool...

Lady bartender was just plain rude. Gave me and my party an attitude from the first drink we ordered. Decent set up in there but the service was just horrible.

Chill ambiance, relatively cheap alcohol and nice pool tables. They even have a little (paid) breathalyser to tell you if you can drive home or not. Cute!

The staff is extremely rude. A drunk lady threatened to attack me and my friends if we didnt leave the pool table, and the staff took her side (friends with her I assume).

Full of happy middle aged people having fun, many seemed like regulars. Enjoyed a couple beer with my friends and enjoyed the friendly atmosphere
