There is no one better than JC! He is a very skilled therapist. I am a disabled veteran with chronic muscular and pain issues. I’ve been seeing JC for 10+ years as no one knows what they’re doing quite like him. He calms the pain and makes life bearable. I don’t know what I’d do without him.

I own a Med spa and this is hands down one of the best massages I have ever had. You will not be disappointed. The owner is extremely professional. Made another appointment & added additional services. Great spot!

JCs massage techniques are spot on. I see him regulary for therapeutic massage for hip, back and shoulder pain. Without fail, every time, he is able to identify exactly what needs to be done to help the effected area(s) release and feel better. One example- I have reoccuring tennis elbow that physicians recommend injections. JC works on surrounding muscles and trigger points and the pain/numbness lessens significantly;no injections needed!I highly recommend the Salt Massage Room!

Ive been going to JC at the Salt Massage Room for years. JC is very knowledgeable and experienced, and hes able to pinpoint the areas where Im feeling pain and work on those specifically. My doctor recommended regular massage to help reduce inflammation issues and improve my range of motion. I have definitely seen a difference. I would definitely recommend this massage service to anyone who is looking for relief from pain.

JC is very good at massage, he know a great deal about the body and is able to relive stress and pain. He has helped me so much with my movement.i would highly recommend him and have sent several clients his way.

I found this little place looking for 90 minute massage options in the Tampa area.I called and JC answered and had an opening today, on a Sunday. Big win for me because Ive been going to the gym even though Ive been feeling stiff and sleep has been hiding from me.There is a salt option during this massage that is supposed to help relaxation and breathing. I had him use that part of the time and then asked for just music to relax.JC was amazing. He worked the knots out of my hamstrings and massaged the tightness out of my neck and shoulder. He really knows his craft and I am glad I found this location.I will be back to see JC Alvarez again.

My husband and I had massages and a salt room session today. Our massages were fantastic! JC took a lot of time on my trouble spots. The salt session was great, too. We live in boston but I’d definitely come back next time we are in Tampa!

Highly recommend! The salt room was so grounding and my massage from JC was absolutely incredible. I have been to many massage therapists, he has been the best I’ve been too. He knew exactly what was bothering me and how to address it. I will absolutely be coming back any time I visit Tampa!!

I visited JC for a pre natal massage while in Tampa for vacation. He was able to get me in on the same day with no issue . JC was very knowledgeable and caring . The massage was amazing. I walked away feeling like a new woman!

When I finished physical therapy at The Florida Orthopedic Institute for shoulder bursitis in 2017, JC was highly recommended to me by their therapists as the best in the area.The therapists were correct, and my family and I have been going to JC exclusively for the past 3 years. During that time he has helped us with our health challenges of arthritis and physical traumas from car and ski accidents.JC is always on time for appointments and his massage rooms are very clean. He calmly and swiftly finds our aches and pains and works them out so that when the session is over we walk out feeling excellent. Through the years I’ve had many massages throughout Tampa Bay and JC’s massages are the best in the area.

JC is SO very knowledgeable and has expert ability. I have degenerative disk disease and need a lot of massage to keep my unstable neck in place and adjacent muscles balanced. He is totally amazing. His extremely reasonable fees make it possible for me to receive this valuable therapy on a frequent recurring basis. Ive had many massages in my 70 years and JC ranks as THE BEST therapist Ive ever had. Im so grateful hes right here in Tampa and he makes himself so accessible to his clients.

JC is truly a professional!! I broke my shoulder 10 weeks ago and have been in much pain with limited range of motion. He was recommended to me by a physical therapist to assist in relieving my muscular tension which had turned into frozen shoulder. He has given me much needed relief and increased the motion in that joint with his superior knowledge of muscles and nerve innervation. His room is very serene and I leave there with more hope that my shoulder will continue to improve as I am an active person and dont want my frozen shoulder to limit my activities. I will continue to go to him for therapy to my shoulder but also for outstanding deep muscle massages in the future. His prices are more than reasonable which make it affordable to go on a regular basis. I truly wish I had known of him earlier after my shoulder fracture because I feel I would have been much more along in my recuperation.

An excellent massage and experience. My doctor recommended I see JC for medical massage to help my TMJ. It helped immediately and I have since been back for full body work. Ive recommended JC to my friends and colleagues in Tampa area, and he has been able to help them work through long held aches and pain. Very professional.

JC is so very talented and my man came back from a one hour massage in the Salt Room like he had a new lease on life. His circulation was majorly improved to all of his organs muscles, tendons.Im next😁

BEWARE!!! JC has the worst customer service I’ve ever dealt with! He scheduled my appointment time incorrectly and i remember our exact conversation. He kept yelling at me and arguing with me to the point i had to hang up. I had my whole day planned around this with childcare. He was unapologetic, completely rude and just didn’t care. I would never recommend this place because nobody should be treated the way i was treated!! My appointment was with Michelle and she was so sweet and understood the issue. I was supposed to have a relaxing day with a massage now this guy has ruined my day and completely upset me, not sure how you can be a therapist and treat people like this!!

He explained what he was doing and helped me understand why I was having the pain I was having and the healing cycle that helped me get to my highest health potential. He also shared his wealth of knowledge on foods, nutrients and vitamins that the body needs to stay healthy. I would highly recommend J.C. for massage treatment whether it be for healing or relaxation!

Best massage I have ever had in my life. Its the massage you NEED not the massage you thought you wanted! Has definitely helped with some running/exercise related injuries and with some muscle spasms I was having in my upper back. Absolutley amazing, I highly recommend!!!
