Geos Lounge

Geos Lounge has to be under new management. The lounge seems more structured and the staff is more engaging .I booked a table online for my birthday and the experience was nothing short of amazing. From the security staff, GM, and bartenders... the entire night was a VIBE. I ordered a custom vegan, gluten-free pizza. The ingredients are fresh and the sauce is made with love however the true superstar is their mixologist AJ. He prepares the best drink experience every time I stop by. I love that I can trust him enough to just make me something and he never disappoints! Whenever youre in the area...be sure to ask AJ for a Grand Lemon Drop or Sidecar!

Great service and people. Top notch full service bar and Lounge. No bottom shelf drinks which is 👍. Local is great for social events, gatherings, and party events. Food is available. Parking right around the block. Centrally located by other well established restaurants and known nights spots in Ybor City.

I didn’t know this hidden gem existed til about 2 weeks ago. I’ve been back about 4 times since then. It’s a very chilled, sexy and relaxed vibe. The ambiance is dope, drinks are always good and strong and the food is amazing. The Dj’s are always playing good music. I went tonight and they had live music. The saxophonist was definitely a hit for date night. The staff are wonderful. They even let my date and I stay a few minutes after to finish our drinks. I highly recommend!!

I recently visited Geo hookah place on a Saturday night. The atmosphere inside is actually quite nice, and it really sets a relaxing mood. However, I was disappointed with the service. The martini were served in tiny plastic cups looking like a shot; which didn’t really match the vibe but wasn’t a dealbreaker. What really bothered me was the hookah—one of them didn’t taste right, and when we asked the waitress to check it, she was quite unhelpful. She even smoked the hookah herself and insisted it was fine, which felt unprofessional. To top it off, the check came with gratuity included, which is standard for a large group, but my credit card was charged $50 extra in the top that I signed off. Either a mistake or an added tip I didn’t authorize—I’m not sure, but it left a bad taste. Unfortunately, I can’t recommend this place based on my experience.

The hookah was top-notch! They had a great selection of alcohol, and the ambiance was perfect for enjoying a relaxing hookah session with friends. It added an extra layer of fun to the whole experience!

Such a vibe I came here for an EP event and another night with my sister and the security guards were super nice and super respectful, one was named Mike I believe and the other was name Sam! but the staff here are very sweet! The door girl and the bartenders! The atmosphere in there was my favorite, It’s a narrow well designed hole in the wall! I will definitely recommend coming here with your girls! I am extremely unhappy with Geos Lounge. My business partner and I booked this venue for a private event three months in advance. However, upon arrival, we discovered they had double-booked us, renting the venue out for a birthday party on the same night. This was extremely embarrassing, especially since we had multiple sponsors who we had to refund because we couldnt hold our private networking event. The microphone wasnt working, and they didnt allow us to project our presentations on the TV or projector, claiming they didnt know how to use them.To make matters worse, we had members and clients who flew in from across the country, including Hawaii, Illinois, and California, only to be met with this disorganized mess. The owner kept cutting me off and saying I could only talk for two minutes. This level of unprofessionalism was unacceptable.Despite the large amount of money our members spent on the bar, the overall experience was horrendous. I will never, ever conduct business with Geos Lounge again. I was extremely dissatisfied and disappointed with their service.

Great service, amazing food, mature And elegant atmosphere. Our bartenders name was “Ke” She was super Personable, hospitable, and she went above and beyond to make sure our date night felt special, we felt like VIP’s! We will definitely be coming back!

So glad I found this gem in Historic Ybor City. I love the ambiance, the MATURE crowd environment and most of all the customer service, which I have to add Aira is the best as she always greets us with a beautiful smile and accommodates all of our needs.I have been here 3 times, first time for Frankie Negron concert which was spectacular. Millie Puentes was also performing that night. We were greeted with a glass a champagne and a charcuterie plate. Wow that was amazing service and a great experience.Then I decided to celebrate my 40th Barbie birthday at Geos. I made reservations on open table and they accommodated my group (about 20 of us) the music was great, hookah and drink prices were reasonable & the dj was playing all the right music for our age group. Everything was perfect!!I normally dont write reviews, but I had to leave one for this place since it has been beyond my expectations.

This place was a good vibe! The service from AJ was phenomenal The drinks were on point, and the atmosphere was just right. A solid choice if youre looking for a night out.

Very dark lighting, the bottles on the wall were great to look at so the ambience is nice. Drinks were strong (although not tasty). Music was r&b. Bartender was very friendly and helpful.

I went to geos on a Saturday around 430. The place is super cute and chill for a girls day/night. Our server was Kay who was very hospitable and inviting. Will definitely come back

My colleagues and I paid for a private booking here, but the lounge was double booked. We were to have an informative networking event with Tampa and international professionals, only to have the mic cut off multiple times and to be interrupted by the birthday group that booked as well. We realize it wasn’t their fault either, but we were cut off by this group, management sided with them offering drinks and music…it was obvious they wanted to people to keep buying drinks, which I understand, but we booked the venue months in advance only to be let down and embarrassed in front of colleagues…we had to reimburse everyone for their speaking slots and the evening turned into a party. I was doing the videography and was very disappointed.

If you’re looking for a night out without all the craziness, look no further! Geo’s has an amazing selection of wines, live entertainment, with a relaxed ambiance. I was personally greeted by the owner who was amazing and down to earth. I’m thankful for a spot that speaks my language!

Great new spot in Ybor City! If you’re looking to get away from the bars and find someplace nice with a great selection of fine wines and champagne this is where you need to be. Stopped by on Sunday and the vibes were great to end the week. Stop in and see Bel & Alex and they will take care of you.

I am not happy at all with my experience with Geos Lounge. I booked a reservation for what should have been a date night with my husband. Walk in to this beautiful establishment during my reserved time. With a look of confusion, the bartendar as if we was there for the birthday party. NO i have a reservation. Her response oh, its closed to the public tonight for an event. Instantly annoyed since this was suppose to be our evening and why would it let me reserve if its closed to the public. NOT satisfied AT ALL. and WILL NOT even try to go back.

The place is built very nice, service is excellent. I decided to visit due to them having hookah now. The only negatives is the hookah and music. $45 for hookah with quick lite coals wasn’t very good, need to upgrade the coals, the music system needs to be fixed. Too much echoing and after a time it gives you a headache.

Not the place to go if you want to hang and enjoy the ambiance and their wine. There is never any seating available for customers off the street who just want to enjoy a glass or two of their offerings! They took away all of their seating at the bar to accommodate groups who reserve the bar. Not a fan anymore!

I was there for my birthday weekend and had a great time. In my opinion, it is presented in a clean and classy atmosphere. The staff were very hospitable and immediately provided service and moved seating to accommodate our group. They followed up with us periodically and of course they gave me a birthday surprise. The owner Aira was so nice. She was there smiling, talking and servicing all of the guest. She was super personable, and we took a cute bald girl pic together. They played an array of music, throwing in some good ole classic Everybody knows this hits. I would absolutely recommend this place to a mature crowd.

Jeymmi was the most AMAZING bartender. She was patient and answered any and all questions. She even recommended drink options which were FIRE! Make sure you come check her out. She is here Wednesday - Sunday!

Horrible and slow service and over priced drinks. The food is brought in from another restaurant and it isnt covered. Walking hundreds of feet carrying uncovered food is unsanitary.

Somewhat disappointed. The ambiance is cool, the drink tasted good, friendly staff..that was about it. The drinks and charcuterie are wildly overpriced! While my drink tasted good, the charcuterie was subpar to say the least. It definitely wasnt made fresh and it was obvious. And it was very limited, a few lumps if meat, a few lumps of cheese, grapes and jam (with nothing to put the jam on which seemed odd). And that was it for a $42 board. Left there hungry. I most likely will not visit there again. If you are looking for charcuterie, this is a no go. I think Geos could do well if they step up their game a bit, especially if charging those prices otherwise you wont get return visitors.

We were blown away by the service, a fabulous addition to Ybor City. We got the seating at the front and its completely sound proof from all the street noise. The prices were fair, amazing wine selection and the overall ambiance sets it apart from all the others by leaps and bounds. Definitely worth a visit, we will be back!Note: slight dress code, collared shirts guys.

I was in Ybor City last weekend and had a great time catching up with old friends. With an enchanting ambiance the upscale setting creates the perfect atmosphere for enjoying a glass of wine. The decor and lighting further enhanced the overall experience. The staff members were attentive and friendly. 5 star experience!

Everyone is super welcoming and so nice! My husband and I are staying here for the night for our anniversary and Wendy has been already so amazing and we’ve been here maybe 10 minutes! Happy hour is good! Ambience is great! So glad we decided to stop in!

The bar is nice and has a chic ambiance. The staff was friendly. These are the only reasons I’m not giving a 1 star. Their “cocktails” are all $18. But as we got our drinks, the old fashioned was nearly clear and tasted like orange liquor. We had to drag it out of the bartender that the liquors there are wine based. We felt duped. This is mentioned no where on the menu. We closed our tab and noticed a significant cost for “tax”. When we asked, then the bartender told us that the tax includes an 18% gratuity. Again this was mentioned no where on the bill as it was hidden as “tax”, neither of the two bartenders informed us of gratuity being included, so again we felt duped. It’s a shame because the place has potential but we won’t ever go back.

I had high hopes for this new offering in Historic Ybor City as a resident of the neighborhood. Drinks are way too expensive for what you get. I had a berrylicious drink that seemed to have no alcohol and mushy mint leaves smashed on the top. Their prices rival those of places that are of higher ambiance such as Hyde Park Village and Water Street. But the service and offering are not on par. $18 for a cocktail and the same for a glass of cab red wine. Service was okay and friendly, atmosphere was pretty good - intimate and not too noisy. We love Due Amici which has the same ownership and will continue going there but this place is overpriced and the quality of drinks is not matching the price point. This was our first and probably last visit. I would recommend the Wine Society in Centro Ybor as an alternative. Have been there once and it was much more reasonable and has outdoor seating.

A new luxurious spot in Ybor City! As a local who loves partaking in classy and luxurious experiences, Geos hit the spot. The vibe there is immaculate and the owners and staff are very attentive. They went above and beyond for us. While the drinks are on the expensive side, the free complimetaries made up for it! During our reservation we were offered free shots, chocolates and cheeses! It was my freinds birthday and they made it beyond special with a sparkler on top of our bottle of champagne. Great selection of wines and champagnes!!!

Cute place, went for a Krewe social. Extremely hot in the entire place. Not much room to move around. Extremely slow bar staff, the girl bartender couldnt seem to keep up yet the guy was standing around and stated he wasnt allowed to even get water as he could only handle food?? Probably wouldnt intentionally go again.
