Rock Spa & Salon (in Seminole Hard Rock Tampa)

I recently visited the Rock Spa at the Hard Rock Casino in Tampa for the 2nd time this year, and both visits we had an absolutely exceptional experience! From the moment my friend and I walked in, we were greeted by a serene and luxurious atmosphere with stunning interior design. Front desk staff as well as spa associates are professional and respectful at all times. They provide you with a robe and slippers - ahhhh! Snacks like fruits and coffee / tea / creamers / water can be found at multiple stations throughout the spa area. Clean towels are constantly replenished.My massage therapist, Jenny, was fantastic. Her skillful techniques left me feeling completely relaxed and rejuvenated. After the treatments, we enjoyed a delicious lunch at the Pool bar & grill (juicy blackened grouper sandwich and deliciously & crispy prepared chicken wings with waffle fries), where the fresh ingredients truly stood out. Every detail of my visit was perfect, making it an unforgettable day of pampering. We actually spent 9 hours there and it felt amazing! We will definitely be back. Highly recommend!

Such a beautiful experience I had here when my friend purchased a massage for my birthday after having my first baby. And let me tell you, it’s a must!!!! And it was so clean and divine. The staff were friendly. I love the female only area option for jacuzzi, sauna, and relaxation as well as the option for couples area, which just has a large pool and sitting area. They had comfy big relaxation seats and their marble chairs were heated as well. They gave me a complimentary scoop of sorbet (soooo yummy), I wish it was a full serving , and complimentary champagne as well. I highly recommend this place for amenities, and would love to return for a yearly birthday relaxation. I think the massage tables were heated as well which is always a plus for me :)

I definitely recommend Rock Spa & Salon. The staff is very kind and professional. My Massage Therapist was Gregg he was remarkable. They do complimentary champagne for Birthdays. The pool and food area is right outside the Spa. Which is very convenient. They have all the extra toiletries that you may need. You can come and go as you please until they close at 8:00 p.m.

What an amazing experience! Ive had many Swedish massages over the years, and Victoria G is hands down, THE BEST! An added touch, you enjoy a small scoop of lemon sorbet afterward. The facility is well maintained and very clean. Nice, roomy showers, and an immaculate restroom. The ladies tending to the spa stayed busy keeping the rooms dry, stocked with towels, fruit infused ice water always nice and cold. Highly recommend for those seeking a relaxing spa day in a beautiful facility.

I love my service provider for a 80min Swedish massage! Ambience in amenities were really nice! Only thing I did not like was that they did not leave things to get ready with you had to request things like toothbrushes, shavers, hair ties. Compared to other high end spas usually those are available for taking as needed or liking.

This place makes you realize what high expectations are all about! Everything in the Spa is perfectly thought out in every way for a top notch guest experience. The vibes, the multiple lounge areas, the heated chairs in the unisex area, plus all the small details & extra amenities provided… beyond worth it!

My friends and I went to the Hard Rock for a girls outing. We arrived at noon and we stayed until after dark.The spa is pricey but well worth it. An attendant is assigned to you after check-in, and you are given a robe and slippers to wear during your stay.The spa is absolutely beautiful, and the ambiance was relaxing and soothing. The amazing treatments helped us to relax further. Your robe is placed in a towel warmer during your treatments, so you are able to slip into a warm, comfy robe after your service. The scoop of gelato after each treatment added another layer of great service. We enjoyed laughs in the salt room and the steam room. This experience gave us a chance to relax, connect and be pampered. We will definitely be back.

This past Sunday was our 2nd visit to Rock Spa! We loved it! Great spot if you’re vacationing but also if you’re local because it truly feels like vacation. We enjoyed a one hour couples massage and my therapist Zultan was fantastic! We enjoyed the spa, sauna, and steam room. The food at the Pool Bar & Grille was delicious. They had live music which was also quite entertaining. We will definitely be back.

Rock Spa was top notch amazing!! From the rest areas to the jacuzzis separate ones for men and women but also one for unisex in case you want to meet your friend or significant other after taking time in the salt spa or perhaps the steam room…. Huge pool! The massage I got there was for 50 minutes… I only remember the first ten lol… the staff was amazing as well… one of my new favorite places! Oh and I need to add that you can spend all day here! Or you can spend some time… leave for whatever reason and come right back as long as it’s before they close! Lit!

This is my second time and both times have been absolutely awesome. The massages have been wonderful. There’s a nice treat, the delicious lemon sorbet at the end. The lounge areas are spacious and plenty of areas to relax. All the areas have clean and well taken care of.

This spa es a hidden gem in Tampa, loved it. Went for my Fiancée birthday had a couple massage. If I would have known the spa was so much I would have been there earlier than we were for out appointment. There is in area for just girls o boys and a Unisex room which was where I met my fiancée. Lots of treats coffee, tea, snacks and water. Showers were clean and girls in there had everything you need even toothbrush you can definitely shower there and change and go out. We even had free champagne 🥂 for my fiancées birthday, let them you know if your celebrating something. The prices are ok to what it is, a fun relaxed day. Definitely something to try out if your in the area ❤️

I’m cannot say enough about this space from the moment you walk through the doors you are cheerfully greeted and start to relax. We had a couples massage that was extraordinary. The spa, staff and amenities are just wonderful. We WILL be booking again. Thank you so much!

Today is my birthday and I spent the morning at the spa in HardRock Resort in Tampa, Florida getting all I needed and it was great. Loved it! Definitely will return.

One of the best spa experiences in Tampabay... I visited spa all over the world and this is one of the best that I experienced. Zoltan Varga is a massage expert, he is amazing.. He addressed every sore spot on my body. You can definitely tell he has years of experience as massage therapist, He actually listened to my needs. My table was warm when i arrived and before I left he warm my rob.. excellent customer service! Aside from the wonderful massage beautiful, modern facility with several amenities. a co-ed jacuzzi and separate women jacuzzi, salt sauna, and steam room.

I had an incredible experience at the Rock Spa, and Nicoles massage was truly exceptional! Her expertise in addressing my neck, upper, and lower back tension left me feeling rejuvenated and relaxed. I highly recommend her skilled hands for a soothing and effective massage.

The place is beautiful, but unfortunately, the service was not what I expected. I was celebrating my bachelorette party, and they didnt let us enjoy ourselves. They didnt even allow photos in the public area as a keepsake for my special day. I dont recommend it for celebrating a special occasion. Overrated

I get massages all the time but this was my first real spa experience. The amenities are amazing. Great showers, hot tubs, saunas and steam rooms. And the massage was amazing of course!!!

Not the place to come if you want peace and quiet on a Saturday.•My biggest issue & why I wont be coming back: I came to get a massage and spend the day at the spa as my birthday gift from my husband. I was so excited because I’m a mom of 3 young kids- my life is stressful and hectic & this isn’t something I normally am able to do. Imagine my utter disappointment when at 11am, I could hear the music from the pool DJ all throughout the spa area. The showers? Hear the bass. The female lounge hot tub? Bass thumping and I could sing along if I wanted to (I didn’t). The only place I could mostly/kind of not hear it was the stuffy co-ed area and even then it depended on the song the dj was playing. I asked one of the attendants if there was a way to ask if it could be turned down or something. “Nope, sorry” I asked the spa front desk attendant “nope, we pay them- sorry” I asked one of the attendants at the pool deck and he also said “no, we hire him so I can’t ask him to turn it down.” So I asked him nicely if he could turn it down because I’m a guest at the spa and could hear it. He was super nice and said he would and mentioned something about how they usually ask him to turn it up. I completely understand the DJ was doing the job he was hired to do, but I wish I had known he would be there. I would have gone somewhere else as it completely ruined my experience. Hard Rock paid him to play music but I paid Hard Rock for a massage and peace and quiet. Apparently that didn’t matter to anyone. This isn’t something I get to do all of the time. This was a special occasion that as a mom of 3 young kids, I was looking forward to peace and quiet- what you would expect from a spa. You won’t find it here- not on a Saturday morning.Pros:•The massage was nice. It wasn’t the best I’d ever had but also not the worst.•The Female/Male areas each have their own hot tub, salt rock sauna, & steam room in addition to a shared hot tub area that is indoors (so you could theoretically enjoy it even if it’s hot outside)•Complimentary sparkling wine if it’s your birthdayCons:•No snacks. You do get a single bite (think test spoon size) of sorbet after your service but it was lacking. There is water, coffee, and tea though.•It’s suuuuper hot and stuffy in the shared area.•Attendants (and possibly others who work here, they didn’t all have the same uniforms) are constantly walking through the shared area- sometimes loudly talking with each other. Kills the quiet ambiance

Got a pedicure. It was terrible. Didn’t even give me the color I asked for. Barely did any rubs/massage. Waste of money.

Absolutely LOVE THE SPA! I used to never pamper myself nor take time to relax but this spa lets me do relax and forget about the world. The staff is SUPER friendly, very knowledgeable, and always makes my experience the best. The spa it’s self (with the new remodel) is STUNNING! They have so much to offer and I recommend going here if you need some ME time.

Spa is very good it was our second time , but something is wrong with scheduling. Scheduled 2 couples massages ( my cousin and her husband and my husband and me) . When we came and check in , the info was corre. We girls have been placed in separate rooms. And our husbands together. The massages started at 11:14 (due to it took them 10 min to resolve the problem )and they finished that at 11:49 . You pay 390$ for 50 min massage for both and receive 35👎🏻

Had a couples massage booked. My girlfriend was sick & vomiting the day of the appointment and physically could not make it. I called to reschedule and asked not to be charged due to her illness. Our appointment was rescheduled and I was never made aware of a move charge. At our next appointment, we showed up on time but got lost in the casino and ended up being 15 minutes late. We then wanted to re-schedule instead of paying the price of an hour massage and only receive a 30minute massage. We were completely fine with the re-booking fee but found out that we were being charged for both re-booking fees & then a fee per person. All in all we left having to pay $252 and did not receive a massage. I don’t understand why there isn’t a policy covering customers if they fall ill. After this experience and spending this much, we no longer feel comfortable giving the spa any more of our money by booking in the future. As a customer this was a really poor experience for me and we will not back.Additionally, it is very hard to contact the spa. They rarely answer the phone.

The couples massage was one of the best experiences we’ve had. The other customers and food were a treat. The amenities are top notch. You’ll pay an additional fee to access the pool area (which is fine). We would have given five stars, but the checkout process was degrading. Madison (cashier) made my wife feel uncomfortable multiple times by monitoring her too close in the gift shop. Blatantly leaning over a counter instead of asking us for help was unacceptable behavior. We called and made a complaint, hopefully they’ll provide her with training. Poor ending to a wonderful experience.

Love getting my pedicures at this spa. Always experienced staff and good pedicures. Get the spa pedicure with the paraffin dip and enjoy the softest feet ever!

Yesterday I went to the Spa at the Hard Rock hotel and I was completely blown away. It was clean, the check in process was smooth and the front desk agent was very nice. It was my first time going to a spa and I was nervous. I was shown the locker room where we change and store our personal belongings and then I was given a tour of the place.My massage therapist , Tracey, was amazing!!! I told her it was my first time and she didn’t disappoint. I went with my coworkers and after our massage we went into the salt room and then into the jacuzzi.I will definitely be back, I also told my mother about this place and I believe she already booked an appointment. Tracy thank you again for my first time massage!!

This spa is horrible. The worst service and the most expensive Ive seen. Dont spend your money on this spa that even charges for breathing. I would never go back to this place. Apart from that, the bathrooms are dirty, they charge you without telling you that they are additional services.

Blaming customer care for giving us bad information doesn’t justify letting my wife leave with wet hair. We were told they booked an hour for her service. Not only was it over an hour but the last 20 minutes was spent with her stylist chatting it up with someone else followed by just washing her hair then leaving her walking out soaking wet hair. When we asked the receptionist we were told it was customer cares fault for giving bad info.We spend quite literally tens of thousands here at this property. You couldn’t spend the five minutes it would take to dry her hair or at least offer her a towel?Pathetic service. We won’t be back to the spa and will move our gaming to MGM.

Truly a 5 Star spa! Beautiful, modern, clean, and very well equipped faculty. Love their massage services. There’s a barber 💈as well if you need a cut.

Pool staff was great. Wish the casino had live roulette and craps instead of digital. Interior of casino could use an update. Food at all our restaurants were great.

The spa is beautiful the amenities are great but I have had a massage her 3 separate times and they were always bad. More like a rub down. I hope I get a good masseuse because I love the amenities but so far each time they don’t do a good job

Had an amazing day at the Spa! Jessica was my masseuse she was professional and very nice! The whole experience made me feel safe and welcomed. Angela the manager is the best!!! She helped my group and I with any questions we had regarding the spa and pool area. Mike by the pool was amazing his customer service skills are on point. Brandon from the pool bar and grille was very nice and made our entire group feel spoiled! Everyone did an amazing job to make us feel like we were VIP. The mojitos were amazing. The Spa facilities were clean and well managed.

80 minute massage was incredible. The MT was trying her best to remove the muscle spasms. She did an amazing job. The facial was everything. I had a couple of areas on my face from Lupus and they were gone the next day. I had been trying to heal the areas for two weeks.

I had a pedicure then me and my daughter had the swedish massage it was heavenly great omg wow. The staff is so nice and its so clean in there and it smell fresh. Loved it is am definitely coming again for more treatments.

My girls and I went for my birthday and it was splendid! We had the best time. The massage was good but dont be late because that cuts into your massage. We had an amazing time.

My wife and I enjoyed the Rock Spa with its central jacuzzi for couples to relax and mingle. The separate lounges are also relaxing with steam room, Suana, beds, Jacuzzis etc. Staff was very attentive and place extremely clean with refreshments, snacks, lockers etc.

So disappointed. Double booked one of my appt and tried to blame me. Dropped us off in the locker room but didn’t give instructions on how to use the lockers (we said it was our first time). No cups for the water. Didn’t mention to my sister there were warmers for the massage table. For the money they charge it just fell short.

Amazing place! So worth it! My hubby and I came here last week for a date night just the two of us, the first one since our 18 month old son was born. Was so relaxing and just what we needed. So nice to not have to worry about anything. It was super clean, staff was so friendly and helpful. Made us feel welcome and comfy. We did the couples massages and the ladies were absolutely amazing. I feel bad I can’t remember their names now. I meant to review faster but life with a toddler is so busy.This place was so beautiful, the piña colada we got at the bar was seriously the best one I’ve ever had! Definitely wish their was a separate entrance for the spa cuz walking through the smoke filled casino was gross. And we got lost cuz place is so big.Other then that it was perfect. So nice to be pampered and have privacy and be able to relax. Loved everything about the spa. Hopefully we can come back again. *I added some photos too.

My girlfriends and I had the most wonderful experience at Rock Spa over the weekend. The staff was professional, kind, and courteous! They treated us like queens. The saunas and Jacuzzi areas were lovely and peaceful. My Esthetician who did my facial was so sweet. She took time to explain different procedures to me and even broke down the costs (always nice when you dont have to wonder or feel awkward asking). My skin was so glowy afterwards! Then, we were treated to some champagne after our treatments as we relaxed in loungers. We changed and were able to keep our bags in the lockers and go down to the pool area, walk around for some gambling and have lunch, and come back to the spa. We could have stayed until closing at 8PM enjoying the saunas and beverages and Jacuzzis. Overall a great experience and was very happy and relaxed. I will definitely return!!

Went to the spa a few months back and will never be returning. My guests and I were treated so rudely and noticed we werent the only ones treated this way. It was so bad that we ended our day half early just to get out of there and away from it all. We were actually yelled at like children for not wearing masks in the sauna or jacuzzi. I ask you, how safe could it be for someone to have a facial covering on in a sauna? They literally yelled at us and had no respect for their elders. Will never return.

Came here with my elderly mother and while the nail technicians were pleasant and did an OK job, the worst part of the experience here was when I left and looked at the receipt. My mother (an elderly woman) had booked our appointments. Not knowing what she was signing up for, they convinced her to book a gel manicure for me. I did not have gel polish on and when I got there and found out, I told them I would still like the manicure but would not like gel polish. They charged us for the manicure AND they also charged an extra $45 for gel polish removal and reapplication! No one had gel taken off OR put on!! We were told they would not refund our money because they needed a 24 hour cancellation of services. Seriously? Honestly if they told me that before paying, I wouldve got the gel polish put on so as to not waste the entire $45. Way to be greedy and nickle and dime your customers. Ill never come back here again for the spa, the hotel or the casino.

Krystal gave my 18yr old son probably the best but & style he’s ever had!! His hair is naturally very curly. She gave him styling tips while creating a great look. We made out next appointment with her before leaving!

I had a fantastic experience! Minus the confrontation I had with Dianne. I was not given a reminder call of my appointment, however I was called 6 minutes after. I rescheduled and told I would be charged a 30% fee. Come two oclock I returned because I rescheduled. I told Dianne I shouldnt be charged because I was not given a reminder call, there was a back and forth going on which brought out my anxiety, she said I told her I was thirty minutes away, but that couldnt have been possible because I stayed at the hotel. I told Dianne I did not say that I told her my fiancé was getting ready that we could be down now, she stated that we would be 10 minutes into the massage, and that we would be charged. So I rescheduled for two. I believe Dianne was unprofessional from the start and should have involved a manager the moment I mentioned not receiving a reminder call. This was my first time at the spa, I had a great time I will return but I will not deal with Dianne ever again and I believe they should have someone more professional and pleasant working the front desk for customers.

My husband and I went for a sweetish couples massage. When looking at the website we see our package included the large hot spa and sauna. BUT!!! Once we are the we are told we can not use them together? In other word he would have to be in his bathroom and me in mines alone!?! The whole point of booking a couples day and to spend the day relaxing together! Also the robes were horrible! They had holes all in the insides! Also not plush but really itchy!! Not fresh! Also with what they charge you would think they would offer disposables sandals and not have to stick my feet in a sandal that has been used a million times! They look like jail sandals from orange is the new black!BUT!!! The reason for the three stars is because the massage it self was fantastic!! I wish the would let us lay there for at least 10 minutes after the massage to kinda soak in our relaxation..Yes supposed to do sit in separate rooms for hours while we enjoy this

Terrible customer service AGAIN. I filled out their “contact us” form online which states they will contact you in 24 hours. I even received a confirmation email of my inquiry and 2 days later nothing. I call in they have to redirect me - they hang up on me instead. I call back and they tell me that they have an online reservation system - which they do not (Hollywood does - Tampa does not!) They don’t listen when you tell them what you are wanting:Me - I want to book two pedicures on Saturday morningHer - A pedicure for how many people?Me - TwoHer - For what day?Maybe just listen to what is requested and go from there. She had one at 7. I don’t want one I asked for two. No I’m sorry we didn’t respond back to your email - I will find out what is going on with it. Nope just we have nothing available deal with it.

Not a hotel guest but came for an early morning massage at the spa. Valet for an hour was 20 bucks, plus 10 for tip, which is steep. They do have parking garages but I would have needed to arrive 30 min early just to walk to the hotel. Worst part is you have to walk through the casino full of cigarette smoke to get upstairs to the spa and they make you wait for an escort, nice for the guests security I suppose, but terrible intro to my day as a spa guest. To note, no escort to bring me back downstairs after my service, guess i could have robbed the place then if that was my intent. Very strange. Spa was very small, massage room very tight, masseuse was nice but couldnt take direction very well, came out bruised and tighter than when i arrived. Then to shlep back down through the smokey casino and the long walk back to get my car. Definitely not a relaxing experience, will not be back to a Hard Rock spa again.

My wife and I went for a sweetish couples massage and her a manicure and pedicure ,services we paid for and never received because they where so rude we just end up leaving. I spoke with a manager a few weeks ago I asked her to Do her due diligence and get back with me she asked for my elite wild card number I gave it to her then was told I give you a call back tomorrow it’s been about 3 or 4 weeks I have called the hard rock spa Tampa management line and have left messages and emails no response

Shelia, Jenifer and Angela and the rest of the staff were most delightful. They made my visit absolutely amazing. Very professional, courteous and attentive from check-in to check- out. I spent 2 days at the spa experienced impeccable service each time. Highly recommended!

This weekend was Hard Rocks Grand Opening of its Spa Launch. It was totally awesome. I already booked 6 months ahead. It had been years since I visited the Spa. Everyone was so attentive offering champagne, mimosa, water, tea and coffee as well as a nice offering fruit. I wasnt a guest at the hotel but needed an over due SPACATION With spa services like a facial and/ or massage you can relax and use the jacuzzi, saunas and varios lounge areas. You are offered a rob and slippers as well and can stay ALL day. Just what I needed. Two things I wish: 1 Not to have to walk through the smoking section of the Casino to get to the Spa elevators and 2. for the pool to be open to spa guests to order a meal. Thanks to Kristen and all the staff You Rock! Ill be back.

Jeremy is informative and professional . After the gym, I wanted to check out the pool, as it was late and I was unsure if I would be able to get back in, he assured me I would and not only that walked with me outside and informed me about the pool hours , cabana rentals , pool grille what they serve and answered all my questions about the spa amenities, as well! As I was walking to elevator, without asking , he brought me a brochure of the spa! Jeremey thank you! You go above and beyond , without even being asked! Your awesome!Thank you Jeremy!

Great spa. Friendly staff and nice sauna/steam room, etc. A little pricey but if you use the ameneities, we’ll worth it. Just come in a few hours early to enjoy them.

They allowed someone to make last minute booking during my hair color appointment. The hair dresser was upset that, I wanted the product that sat over half hour washed out, since she took over anofher client, last minute. I have to strip all the. Pink and orange dye they placed in my hair. I kept asked for copper red and she said to mix two colors but jept pointing at other colors. She even told me my way or the highway and when I asked to cancel due to conflict of interest by the both of us they asked for 50 cancellation fee.

Came in two get 4 different services and made an appointment for one hour massage for the next day because they were booked and when I showed up 15 min early they come to tell me that they don’t have me down for anything at that time and all I got was an in sorry! I went out of my way and extended my stay at the hard rock so I can come and get this done, mind you they charge people if they show up late or change times yet they completely didn’t schedule me for the right time and all I got was they’re all busy! Like if that helps me!

I started coming to the spa during the renovations and I’ve enjoyed everything they offer! My massages make me feel brand new and the facials help keep my face smooth and soft. I highly recommend the services there!

Couldnt reach them on the phone but they did reach out to us. Unfortunately they couldnt be accommodating due to several in our party being overweight. At least they were honest and didnt want us embarrassed or hurt.

I have long thick curly hair and I wanted it blown out smooth with big curls. it seemed like the stylist didn’t really know how to style my hair type so I told her to blow it straight I would fix it myself later- it was frizzy and the ends were not polished and I could barely fix it. Not worth the $100

I really enjoyed my experience there. The staff were nice and helpful. The only hiccup was because my massage and facial were back to back with 15 mins in between them I lost time off of my facial because I was in the bathroom. I didn’t think that was necessarily fair. I wasn’t feeling well.

Body rock spa employs the most professional caring employees. They are always spot on with services and immaculate. I have been coming here eight years and even through all the renovations & Chaos they have shine through !!the best

I highly recommend the rhythm and motion massage. I’ve had numerous massages here with different therapists and have never had a bad experience. The spa and locker rooms are always very clean and the attendants are very helpful.

Came here for a Father’s Day date for massage and pedicure is was so nice ......I’ll be back again highly recommended for a day of relaxation

If I could give 0 stars, I would. Scheduled a week in advance, confirmed night before, and got a call cancelling 90 minutes before our appointment. Can you say UNPROFESSIONAL? Go somewhere else, where they actually have staff who care!

My wife invited me to this place as part of my anniversary gift. It was the worst experience we had. Not only is it dirty, bad customer service; we paid for a 50 minute service and only got 20 minutes and they charged us 70 dollars extra for an aromatherapy that they never mentioned as an additional charge. The quality of the massage is poor and I would never return to this place.
