The Wild Horse Saloon is a staple of life in Topeka. Without Wild Horse, I doubt Topeka would be the capital of Kansas. The beer is probably some of the coldest youll ever try, and the drinks are so strong they could beat Chuck Norris in a fight and it wouldnt even be close. If you thought 2-stepping was the only thing that was going to happen on the dance floor you are sadly mistaken. Wild Horse Saloon saw Jurrasic Park, and said why not? Thats right folks, dinosaurs. Great place with great people. Bartenders are awesome and very nice. Great music played by an awesome DJ, Smurf. The managers, Jim and Anna are very good at running the place. Big, beautiful dance floor. Always a good time!

A good goodbye to this place. Been here an 1.5 hours and nothing but country played and it is packed. Not hardly been in years to the lack of country music. To bad it took closing to get country music at a Saloon. Why I love dancing in Texas.

Bar tenderer does not know how to make a Long Island ice tea and there is a price difference from the drink I had him replace it with and he said nothing so I let him keep it because I will never be back !

A lot nicer on the inside than it looks from the outside. For the most part, it’s a country bar, from the themes, to the hard wood dance floor. Although, towards the end of the night, some other popular songs, such as pop songs, are thrown in for the younger crowd who hang around later. Drink prices are steady to other bars and their specials are usually well worth the money.Only downside is the cover charge to get in. All in all, it’s still a great place to gather with friends on the weekend.

Its roomy its a got a nice size dance floor if you like country line dancing. Its got two bars which is really convenient when it gets crowded. The music is mostly country but the dj will mix it up for those that want to shake their butts. The drinks are okay but are really cheap. Its clean its got a smoking area and pool tables. All in all good times. No cover change until 10 pm Friday and Saturday is ladies night free until 10pm!

My favorite place to go for a night out. The dance floor is amazing and the contests are so much fun to watch and participate in. Love how many pool tables they have. The staff is nice and makes me feel safe when Im leaving after closing (theres usually like 3 people standing at the exit) Ive never had to wait in line for the restroom and thats rare for females. The outside are could use a little work. Some kind of roof and better heaters would be nice.

Kinda meh. Went to dance, great dance floor, not so great on the dance music. Ive heard they usually play better dancing music, may have been an off night. Bathrooms were awful (for a bar...). Staff was great, place is otherwise nice, pool tables are decent (for a bar).

Wild horse is great. Great place to socialize in general, drunk or sober. Love that you can still have fun with line dances and conversations with employees who are very down to Earth. If you love country music this is the spot. If you love admiring cowboy boots like I do, this is the spot. They also have karaoke on Sundays which is very laid back and super enjoyable.

Its ok & has cheap drink specials, but its too much hip-hop & other music mixed in to really be a country dancing bar... I like the idea of having different kinds of music, but the crowd is usually pretty sketchy for some reason... wish it were more like dirty dawgs in Manhattan

Way nicer than I thought it was going to be. Drinks are typical bar prices. Kind of sucks that you have to pay a cover though. The music is mostly country but they do have pop songs thrown in. Me and my friends would come out here to just have fun on the weekends.

Mixed drinks $10 and a $5 cover charge pretty pricey but a nice place had fun and a big dance floor with all the dj lights and effects plus pool tables and beer pong got a free t-shirt for going!

Great place. My only problem was girls on the dance floor with like a phone or hell even 2 phones and a wallet. I am not sure if there ID was checked. Little girls please stay at home.

Just went in to pee, which is right by the entrance, and I was told I had to pay five dollars to use the bathroom. The person was very rude. I know running the front counter at a run down bar in Topeka probably isn’t your dream job, but lighten up. Don’t drive away potential customers. Avoid this place.

This place has changed hands and i was excited about that but apparently loyalty meaning nothing now the Shiloahs punk a** is handling security.

Took forever to get a drink in there. Good place to pick up trashy women, though. Definately the bottom of the barrel of society.

Best club in Topeka. dancing and a variety of music. Many fat girls here, but some are skinny. Dance floor is pretty fair size. Cover is $5 which I think is a price good enough for me to go every weekend I am in town.From experience, the most attractive girls dont go to clubs after college in the US. So if you want young attractive skinny girls that are more approacheable, go for the younger easier targets. Jayhawk Cafe in Lawrence. Why go for older women who test you more when they are less attractive and out of shape? It makes no sense, dont let society pressure you in being with a girl your age.Anyway, enough rant. This club is still not a bad place to chill you are in town and lazy like me and dont always want to drive to Lawrence. Sometimes I do see an attractive girl here or there. I would bring a friend to chill with if it is a miss. It will be fun no matter what. You can make it fun reguardless of the talent.

Nive fun entertainment. Great crowd. But the bouncer takes full drinks off ypur table. Even if you go smoke..total. BS....they need to boot his butt out of their....not good for business

One of my favorite places. Great staff, great bartenders. I used to come here a long time ago and it was bad... now it is a great place, great drink specials and all around a fun place to be.

Great bar with friendly staff, but it Could also be a great dance place if they didnt allow drinks on the dance floor. Spills really make the floor hard to dance on...

This place was great, I dont like going to places like this but they were awesome helped me find a new drink to try and they have a wide variety of music to dance to.

You can be 18 to work there (told by an employee) but must be 21+ to get in... fishy. I’ve heard great things about this place and was eager to go for an event but not being able to get in was a disappointment.

Two full service bars, huge dance floor, loads of space, good music coverage. Large projection screens to watch music videos. Good prices!

Its bar...drink specials are decent...it has a lot of fights and cops like to hang out around here at closing to nail drunks.

Its fun if you want to drink and dance! Theres no steaks though.... No kitchen at all... So that other guy is ridiculous

About 2 months ago I was going every Wednesday, Friday and Saturday for two months straight... absolutely LOVE this club

A really let down. Bar was out of most everything we attempted to order. However, wait staff remained flexible and friendly.

Great dance spot to knock the dust off your boots and grab a drink. Try the electric lemonade for a sweet refreshing drink

Not much into the bar seen but at least they play good music and you can still talk a bit loud though.
