I throughly enjoyed my time here.The staff as well as the other patrons were all pleasant and made for an excellent evening!I particularly enjoyed the band they had. The young man was very versatile and an all around great artist!I would most definitely put this on your list of places to stop on your next outing.

Im clearly in the minority on the pizza. We ordered based off the great reviews others left. We either caught this place on a bad night or their style of pizza just isnt for us. We ordered 2 pizzas, one half cheese half pepperoni and the second was the Magic Mushroom. We got the pizza to go and traveled 6 miles back to our hotel room. The 2 pizza boxes were huge but light as a feather. The pizzas were very thin and crunchy with no pull on the cheese. Im just being honest but I tossed the whole pizza after the first slice. There was nothing I liked about it. Again, other reviews tell a different story so it must just be me. Id say decide for yourself and hopefully you will love it like others. We dont have the same opinion. We wont order from here in the future.

When I asked the guy at the bar, if he would change the lights out on the pool table, because they were so dim, it was hard to see. I just figured he would laugh at me. But instead, he said you know what I bet I can! And sure enough… Carter came to the rescue.!!! Thats amazing service for a Saturday night when theyre super busy to take care of such a small request.

Great place to get a drink. The staff was great and the drinks were very good. I didnt have food, but what I saw the other customers eating looked great.

Great little bar and excellent pizza. Went to watch sports and it was great until people decided to play darts, why is the dartboard in front of the TV? Seems like an awful place for it. Pretty annoying having to look around people just to see the score.

Wish they played music even when the box doesn’t have money.

Went in for lunch and was pleasantly surprised. Several regulars and the owner were chilling at the bar and I pulled up a seat in between all of them. Football games playing on the big flat screens, great bartender serving drinks and a real nice big burger they call The Great Gatsby made for a nice meal. Looking forward to another visit

The pizza itself was really delicious and had a super crunchy crust. Service and beer were good also. The 2 star review is for the boneless wing appetizer. See it on the right? Take a guess at the price…..$5? Nope. $7? Nope. $9???? Wrong again. $11.99!!!! There is maybe, MAYBE, one chicken breast worth of food here. What’s that at the supermarket, $1?!? Come on guys, get real.

Atmosphere is always nice and relaxed there, never had a problem with service. The staff is always friendly and down to earth!

While passing by this establishment, we were curious, so I decided to search for it on Google. I am extremely disappointed with the lack of responsibility shown by the owner of this establishment. Instead of accepting any form of accountability, they respond to honest customer reviews by accusing them of drinking excessively and quickly. This approach is only setting themselves up for failure. Furthermore, it is the bartenders actual job to ensure that patrons do not consume excessive amounts of alcohol. So, to place blame on the customers is quite concerning. I am even contemplating reporting this establishment to the TABC to teach them a lesson in humility, as it appears that this concept is foreign to them. It is important to do better. I do not want to enter a place with the intention of having a drink or two and enjoying myself, only to have a bartender charge me for something I did not consume. It feels like customers are being taken advantage of, with the establishment blaming them for being intoxicated. This behavior reflects ignorance and arrogance. May you have the day you deserve. Leaving three stars so my rating is neutral and doesn’t impact the business, and because you deserve a dose of honesty.

Was referred here by a friend. A cool bar love the drink specials, and the pizza was awesome 👍

Very disappointed in leaving this review.I’ve seen management change a dozen times and now I understand why.My friend and I decided to stop by for a bite to eat and some drinks. After an hour or so we closed out and the bartender charged me $120 after my friend had already paid for 2 drinks each and our food in cash. The “bartender” had overcharged me and refused to settle on the appropriate tab. Tony (the owner, apparently) was no help.No wonder this place has been through so many of ownerships. I look forward to the day south Tyler has a good place to offer.Disappointed to say the least.

It wasnt what I expected at all. The food is limited, but the pizza was the best I have had so far in Tyler and appetizers were awesome. Food is only on the weekends. Drinks were perfectly made, service was great and its over 21 only.It is not a speakeasy if thats what you are looking for.However, if you are looking for a casual bar, no frills, but great atmosphere, its the place. Its a throwback and we loved it. We will definitely go back.

Friendly staff, good pizzas. Local atmosphere. Stopped by on a Sunday afternoon, not many people. Going try stopping in on a weekend as I’m sure it will be more action going on. Be sure to ask about the specials.

My wife and I have been wanting to visit the speakeasy for some time now and finally found a night with a band we liked to check it out. The outside has an approachable look, with parking and the entrance away from the main road. A patio surrounds the front door with patrons hanging out and smoking by the entrance. The inside is a bit more divey and initially reminded me of walking into a VFW. Overwhelmingly everything is decorated with wood. The tables and chairs are a bit older and we found a seat away from the bar. The bar and stage share a small area up front, then the rest of the restaurant opens up to additional seating and a couple of pool tables. I ordered drinks at the bar but there is a waitress waiting on tables. Not a full bar. They have a slim selection of most alcohols and could not make me an old fashioned. They made my wife a Moscow mule and I just ordered a whiskey. Bar staff was SUPER attentive, polite, and helpful. My wifes mule tasted flat. A group of 20 somethings came in and started playing pool by our table. They acted like regulars but were rude, loud, and obnoxious, as if playing pool in a barn behind their house. Not a flattering atmosphere. We decided to move to an empty table by the stage. Most of the customers that were there to listen to the band were good, regular folks. Listening to the band is very intimate and the sound system was good. Band was phenomenal. For our second round, I noticed they had about 12 beers on draft. Craft options and a cider. Beer was served in a frozen mug and tasted cold and fresh. My wife had an Austin EastCider and I had St Arnold IPA. Honestly, I had higher expectations for the speakeasy. We will likely go back if we see a band booked we like but it probably will not make it into a regular weekend rotation. Did not try the food.

Out of town visitors. Bartender was attentive, kind, and phenomenal at her job. Atmosphere was great. Overall had a fun time. If I’m back in Tyler would go again.

Had a really good time here. Fried pickles, hot wings and fried avacados were great! The pizza had a crispy crust and great flavor too. Great bar feel atmosphere and the waitress was very good!! Will definitely be coming back again!

Had heard great things about this place, but that all got blown to hell during a recent visit. Caustic, rude staff. Poor, slow service. Average, overpriced food. Gritty atmosphere. Better pizza awaits up the street at Dominos. Better everything farther up the street at Brunos. UPDATE: Inspector Clouseau claims Ive never been there. Yep, Ive been there, but Ill never go there again. Add owner creepy defensive to the laundry list of reasons not to go to this craphole. lol.

Giving the place 4 stars because it was a pretty cool bar. Great place to have some drinks and play pool. Was not impressed with the food. Ordered the Rolls-Royce Rolls and they we bland. The chicken in the rolls had zero flavor. You could tell they went straight from the freezer to the fryer. I decided to then try the Notcho Tacos. They were like taking a bite out of a cardboard box. Even though I struck out with the food,, I am not ruling the place out just yet. Hopefully I will get lucky with the food choice next time.

The bar owner just came to my car and opened my car door asking what I was doing? I told him I was waiting for my friend to arrive so we could walk in together and he said they had been watching me from inside? I had only been there 3 minutes. I told him he had no right to open my car door and he got upset and banned me. Apparently this old hag has been trying to sell the bar and hasn’t been successful but are we shocked????? Don’t take it out on me bc no one wants your run down bar babe. 😘

Went there for the 2nd time and the owner was there drunk as skunk running his mouth. I feel like this place will be on a episode of Bar Rescue soon. The pizza and the service was great. The liquor drinks tasted watered down and wouldnt be surprised if they were after meeting the owner.

We just moved out to Flint and every time we pass by we told ourselves we need to check it out. Well I sure am glad we did!Great food, drinks and overall environment, this is the locals place to hang out, drink, and enjoy some good food.I would say everyone NEEDS to check it out but I’m selfish and want this intimate hangout for myself and friends

Staff is very pleasant and attentive with the exception of one bartender. I have witnessed this bartender repeatedly chase of customers, especially attractive females. I don’t know why this is allowed to continue. I wish the owner would intervene. This one person really sours the entire atmosphere for everyone. I really like this bar. The restrooms are clean and the beer is cold. I’m just not cool spending my money at a place where I don’t feel welcomed... even if it’s just because of one employee named Britney.

Great appetizers, especially the smoked gouda mac and cheese bites. The pizza is excellent, we had the Capone. Definitely will be back here, the waitress provided great service as well.

We recently visited this establishment after the remodel and re-opening under New Management. Lets just say the Half Moon management was better and also their Food!. We ordered 2 burgers cut the chili and one with Mushrooms instead. Onion Rings on one, curly fries on the other. Also my husband wanted to try the pickle fries. We got the bottom of the bag on the curly fries, broken pieces NO Curls to be found. Onion Strings, No Rings and maybe 5 pieces of those. Pickled fries? No meat in them and the were cold. I asked for my curly fries to be reordered since I did not receive what I ordered. Fifteen minutes later, the cook has to ask the manager if he can recook the order, then she comes back and said would be 30 minutes for them to be recooked! Are you serious!! At least the manager from the old establishment would visit your table and also the cook, to make sure things were as ordered! Not at this New management restaurant, Would not recommend to anyone. Spend your Money in Tyler! Better Food at Cheddars!

Went in for our 1st time. Waited 15 minutes for someone to acknowledge us and get our drink order. Hardly anyone in there. People were spaced out at the bar that there were not two seats together so we sat at a table close to the bar. Everyone at the bar were well cared for and bartender never looked up from the bar. After 15 minutes we just left. In case youre wondering no one noticed us leaving either.

Atmosphere is great, drinks and staff are excellent. Only meh, is the food. Everything else is excellent!!

Love this place. Its not like many of the other speakeasy type bars popping up, this is a no frills place. They dont specialize in craft cocktails, but the drinks are good and they arent too pricey. Good place to hang out, play pool, throw darts, or just sit around.

First time back here since it was half moon, 100% improvement even though the moon was great too. No more smoking inside is a huge plus for me, this place is the perfect dive bar for people that just want to sit, drink, and listen to music that’s not too loud and not walk out smelling like an ashtray.

Great bar and grill. Bartenders are always friendly to chat with and they take care of you as quickly as they can even when theyre busy. Fridays and Saturdays there is live music, and the one night I went, it was phenomenal! Dont know what questionable people that other reviewer saw, but theyre probably just pansys. There might be some rough looking folk, but theyre friendly. If you dont like smoke in a bar, quit drinking! Its a bar!

My whiskey had fruit flies in it, after every pour, had to send it back 3x. Bugs in each pour. The bartender was unfazed, and put the bottles back on the shelf for continued distribution.Chill low-key country place, didnt really give me a traditional speakeasy vibe, lights were not dim but did have that orange lit tone and big screen TVs which were battling the whole ambiance of the speakeasy. Id say they were about 20 people there.Pool tables indoor, outdoor firepit was on with seating. Thats the safest place that I found to have my drink, and was more my thing since I couldnt have my speakeasy vibe.Eat before you come though, fried pickles were in large portions but greasy, chicken wings were gross and dry

Waitress was great! Definitely have the fried ravioli 💙 Loved that the music was low so you could still talk. Great little bar. Would definitely recommend if you’re in the area.

Pleasant and accepting atmosphere. Porch has a beautiful fireplace. Well kept on the inside with clean bathrooms. Bartender and staff had a great personality(even at closing time)

Love the divey atmosphere. Fantastic jukebox. Great place for live music. Large outdoor patio. The pizza is very good and a bargain on Sundays.

Its was decent enough, not my general crowd but nice bartenders and friendly door guy/bouncer.. good pool tables, outside smoking... Fine for a night out especially if the crowd is right for you

The decor is superb. Delicious food, and good service. The best employee there is a guy named Chris Luna. Great server, very knowledgeable and attentive. I bet he would make a great bartender.

Just a great place to hang out and enjoy a cold one with friends. They have pizza as well. Good folks run the place and its not pretentious or trendy. No frills watering hole for the regular guys.

But in this instance my Facebook has been inundated with requests for feedback for this particular company. My experience was not a positive experience and therefore this is my rating for them.

My wife, myself, and my in-laws show up, and sit down. The bartender motioned to our servers to ask for our ID’s. (My wife and I are 27, but look 12, so understandable). They take our ID’s and the bartender walks back this time, hands our ID’s to us, and tells us they can’t serve us and we need to leave. Our ID’s supposedly came up with an error message (Arkansas drivers liscense). The bartender told us we needed to leave immediately. I asked if she could use my veteran ID, she refused. I offered to show my credit cards/debit cards that match my drivers license, military ID, student ID, electrical liscense, and more that shows I am 27/the same name on all forms. Regardless whether their system was down, (I don’t believe it was), both my wife and I had multiple forms of ID on us. We are from the area and have been to this location many times before it changed names and management. My in-laws have been frequenting this location for over 30 years.This is my first negative review I hav ever written, but the action taken by the staff at this location has deterred all of us from ever drinking/eating here again.

Overpriced and weak pour. Didnt expect over pour but would like a fair one for a $13.50 shot of bourbon. Didnt try food. One drink and gone. The barkeep asked if I wanted single or double. Im a bit curious if he would have disclosed $27 for a double. Maybe its me but had the same old click feel to it as Half Moon. A smile and welcome would be nice.

This is the closest bar to my home and the last one in town I will ever go to again. It is stuffed with cigarette smoke and some questionable characters .The food was ok but with them losing the food license recently for unsanitary conditions. I wonder what I realy ate. Wish it was nicer because it is so close, but I will continue to drive the extra miles to get a drink.

New name new......whatever but food isnt half as good as it was before name change. Not satisfied unless they cook pizzas and the rest I wont be back. Going to take a lot of convincing.

Other places claim to excel at what they already did perfect, and they never need to brag. Try the burgers, but get there before 7, they usually do pizza only after.Also, FREE DARTS!

Cool place for live music on Saturdays good crowd, they have darts which is awesome but if there is a bands no darts, that needs to be moved so both can go on.
