Jin Massage

The ladies here are very sweet! However, this was by far the most chaotic massage experience I’ve ever had. I went with a friend for a couples massage. The lady doing my massage was 20 minutes late, and when she came in she whipped off my sheet and started rubbing my spine without a greeting. At least 90% of the massage was her rubbing my spine with her elbow. The phone rang loudly twice, and she answered to schedule clients both times, while continuing to go at it with her elbows. The room was cold and the face cushion was covered with stiff paper towels.

First time tonight. Happy they had a self service booking option. Was able to take their last available 60 min slot. Location was easy to find and access. The inside was nice, clean, and inviting. Rose was very kind and welcoming. She kept chit chat to minimum so I could just zone out and focus on relaxing. She listened to my body work needs and delivered. Will come back again.

My experience was okay. I was brought back right away to one of the rooms 15 minutes early when I arrived. I was not asked about areas of focus or areas not to touch - I had to mention it myself. Although it was a deep-tissue massage, the massage felt disorganized and maybe a little rough (I then did clarify to go softer). The masseuse left the room 4 times during the massage to talk with other staff and greet other clients - the door remained closed but I did not appreciate being left in the room undressed under a thin blanket and the masseuse coming in and out. The only essential oil therapy I got was a quick whiff under the table for 5 seconds about 10 minutes after the massage started and then nothing else. Overall, my experience wasnt the best and I wont be coming back.

First, I hope the lady leaving a 1 star could read this....you need to talk! Tell your masseuse to focus on areas you would like her to! Also, every masseuse has their own technique! To follow that...this is one of the only places around still charging only $70 for an hour...of what I experienced: a GREAT massage!!! They are trying to keep it extra clean with the paper towels...just remove them pansy, if you no likey.Now to my review...Thank you so much ladies! I will return! You did a great job. TY for checking on the pressure frequently! My sis and I came in on her birthday, and it was so relaxing, I may have drooled a tiny bit...sorry for busting your toilet knob...think it had been already busted though. Keep up the good work! Also, thank you for not being as greedy as almost EVERYONE else charging $100+...will always tip well because of this. Thankyou! I feel great today. 😁

Fathers day was great! We got to have Deep Tissue Massages at Jin Massage through Groupon, and got all the knots out. Very relaxing and professional. We will definitely return and recommend.

First time here today as I had an hour to spare before needing to pick up my son. They were able to get me in right away and accommodated my request for 45min massage even though it wasn’t on their menu. The pressure and technique was fantastic and Kwan even used hot stones free of charge. I was so relaxed I wish I could have stayed longer. Both Kwan and the other lady were very welcoming and friendly. After picking up my son I realized I left my earrings so returned, and she helped me search for them and even gave my son a handful of candy! Overall it was a very pleasant experience and I will definitely return for a longer session.

My husband and I got a couples massage here. We agreed it was the best massage we’ve ever had! Both ladies were so knowledgeable and skilled. The facility was very clean. For a great price too. We’ll be back!

Went in for an hour and a half massage which was not only totally blissful but a heavenly escape. Came out feeling so relaxed!Hot stone and deep tissue massage included at no extra charge, unlike other places. The staff are always friendly and can accommodate couples massage. Great date night or gift idea also!

My boyfriend and I did a couple massage there!! It was amazing!! They listened very well and check in from time to time. The hot stones are definitely recommended.

Its now been *5 days* since my massage and my neck has been in constant pain since.Please, do *NOT* go here, I am so shocked with how paralyzed my neck & shoulders are, I cant even lay down without sharp constant neck pain.I didnt have any neck or back pain before this massage, now I do!I usually plead with people to support small biz, but everyone would be better off if Jin Massage closed.

The husband and I wanted a great couples massage experience for our wedding anniversary while passing through the city, and it’s what we received! We are road tripping from Seattle to Southern California. Some Portland traffic affected our arrival time, but the staff was so accommodating and reassured us that we could still come, and ended every encounter kindly. On top of customer service, the massages were fantastic. We like deep tissue and we were not disappointed. Definitely recommend!

I’ll start by saying I’ve never had a message professionally.We booked a couples massage this morning.Got STRAIGHT to the point. Nice but very straight to the point.We both got deep tissue.I feel as tho my problem areas (neck and left legs) were over worked. Although it was nice at times, I maybe shouldn’t have done a deep tissue massage? I am feeling a lot of after pain in my problem areas.The hot stones we weren’t really asked before hand, they were brought in the room and asked and then said it would be an up charge when we are mid massage, face in pillow -.-They were okay for me but again really hurt my problem areas.My husband said it was great but that his probables areas were barely touched (lower back, feet)He has had professional massages before and said he was a bit disappointed and expected it to be more deep tissue especially lower back since that is a typical area to be focused.He loved the hot stones.I’m not sure what stars to give to be honest.My husband says he is willing to try one more time maybe but also probably just find a different place closer to home.So, maybe I shouldn’t have gotten a deep tissue, but because i have sciatica, I thought it would help work out my knots, as well as my husband.Maybe next time I go I will try just regular…

The hard plastic seats on the trimet do better work than the technicians hereYoure better off putting your money in a mall massage chair than going to Jin, they royally screwed up my back, the massage wasnt soothing relaxing peaceful or healing, it was just straight painful, and the next day, more painful.Unprofessional, unprepared, untrained & unbelievable they charge for that level of work!

The 5 star reviews are fake, wayyy too good to be true.-The tech took *3 phone calls* for appointments & scheduled them while IN THE MIDDLE of my masssage-One tech just used elbows on my partners back & now theyre in *more* pain-My partner & I both experienced regret several times during our massage, there was litte-no technique & nothing felt soothing at all-If you got the groupon RUN dont walk away from this place

The worst massage I’ve ever had. So disappointing. The amount of money I spend is wild. I basically paid to feel like I got beat up. I’m in so much pain after my massage. No technique at all! Used only her elbows the whole entire time while also pulling parts of mg hair. This massage Left me with bruised arms, sides and legs.

The staff was very friendly and sweet. My boyfriend and I did a deep tissue couples massage with hot stones and oil. Let me tell you we were not disappointed. When we walked in they had roses on our tables which I thought was a nice touch. The massage itself was excellent. I really felt all my problem areas were addressed. The price was affordable ($140 for us both 1 hr long). I do not live in the area but if I did I would definitely come back.

Very relaxing and the staff was so kind. It was the first professional massage I’d ever had and they really made me feel comfortable. I had a medium pressure massage but my boyfriend had the deep tissue and we were both very pleased with each of our massages. Great price too!

This was my second visit to Jin Massage and I was placed with Rose. She is very friendly and always has a warm greeting when you walk in. This place is always clean and kept in professional shape the temp is usually comfortable to. Rose does a great job of firmness with the massage and can tailor it to your liking with ease. She has great control on the amount of pressure she applies and adjusts easily with your feedback. I usually have a stronger massage and this wasnt a problem for her at all. I usually like my back and shoulder as well as my neck worked on. These are the places I seem to get the most stiffness with. She did a fantastic job on my back it even felt like she realigned my spine for me. It has been feeling much better these last few days now. I would highly recommend this place to my friends and plan on returning often.

Couples massage was ok. Not a massage Im used to. Ladies were very friendly

We had couples massage and I was in pain most of the time because the massage was aggressive. I tried to communicate to the masseuse to go gentle couple of times but they ignored me and continued. My back was hurting for few days after the massage.

I came to this location to give it another try because my first visit was not that great. My appt was at 4:30, but the massage session didn’t start until close to 5. (4:55 pm). I told the lady I only came in because my right shoulder hurts a lot. However she focused on other areas. There were some other things that triggered me during this appt but there is no point to talk about it. My right shoulder still hurts and the massage was pointless.

Im a bigger guy with an athletic build and a high pain tolerance so I was surprised to see such a small lady be my masseuse for a deep tissue massage. Boy was I wrong. Rose was able to apply the extreme pressure I was looking for and really work deep into the muscle. She was very attentive and worked areas where she could feel tightness until the tension released. Other places seem to just go through the motions and follow a routine for the alotted time. Despite always answering yes when asked if the pressure was still comfortable, she continued to ask intermittently which showed her attentiveness. People who are active or play sports and are seeking more than just a relaxation massage, this place and Rose specifically have you covered.

Injured. The person I had wasnt likely licensed because she had absolutely no technique. She ran her elbows over and over my spine until I gave up and left the massage. Hours later Im in pain, and regretting the whole experience. The manager came out to console me to come back in, but she left someone elses massage to do it. I do not recommend this place.

I often get stressed out easily due to the nature of my job - tight neck, shoulders and lower back. I found Jin Massage around my work area and decided to give it a try. I went in for a 90 mins deep tissue massage with massage therapist April and came out like a new person! She was professional and did a fantastic job. I like firm pressures and she gave me the perfect amount. I especially liked the hot stone treatment and the back walking massage. It was a great experience and I will definitely come back again!

I love this place because April is such an intuitive masseuse! I engage in intense exercise regularly and am prone to sore muscles. When I am in need of a good quality, deep tissue massage, April does the job magnificently! My favorite part is when she walks on my back, girl has got serious skills!

This is the first professional massage Ive had, so I dont have anything to compare it to.I chose the 60 min. deep tissue massage. April was my masseuse.It was a very good experience for me. I have back problems from working behind a computer all day, every day, for years. It felt so good. And she even walked on my back! Which was Awesome. And she didnt just work on my back.. Also my legs, arms, hands, feet.April asked me a few times to let her know if she was being too strong/aggressive. For me she was not (just right), but just let her know if she is.I felt it was a great overall massage, and I plan on going back again. Im hoping if I go on a regular basis (once every 2 weeks or so) that it will help keep my back pain under control.Think Ill opt for the 90 min. next time.Thanks again, April!

With so many massage shops around, my boyfriend and I are so lucky to have found Jin Massage hiding in a small plaza! Rose and April did such great massages for us. My boyfriend needed firm pressure, which Rose did by walking on his whole back. She really knows what she is doing! April did a great job too, and her hands are like magic! Best massage I’ve had. Ten out of ten !!! Today was my first time in . Everyone was friendly . I called in the morning and was able to set an appointment for later the same day. I have zero complaints . I walked in really sore and right now my back feel amazing ! I will definitely be coming back and spreading the word . My Goodness I would give a 6th star. My wife and I just did the couples massage. When we first pulled up I’ll be honest I judged the book by the cover and was a little sketched out. However once inside it was so peaceful and quiet. Very friendly staff and so impressed with the service. Feel like a million bucks!

My husband and I had a couples massage and his was good and he enjoyed it but my therapist kept leaving to answer the door and phone. She forgot where she was when she returned and never completed any part of my body. When she finished she tickled the bottoms of my feet and completely ruined the whole experience for me. We will not be returning.

Jin Massage is awesome! I recently found them after a motorcycle accident in spring 2021. I needed help with my right leg to keep the muscle stretched and good circulation. Both April and Rose work wonders!!! They are friendly and professional! A++

I have had back pain for 50 years and most “so-called” deep tissue massages have done little for me. This one was amazing. The lady has strong fingers. I’m sure they can do gentle massage too, but if you need tough massage therapy this is definitely the place. Not for wimps.

First time having someone walk on my back while getting a deep tissue massage. April was great about communicating what she was going to do. Definitely got what I came in for. I will definitely go in for a second massage.

My 1st visit was great but the 2nd time I was in need of focus on a certain area due to severe muscle pain, tightness and spasm. She just would not stay focused on that area. Apparently they go by their routines rather than what the customer tells them is necessary.

Really great deep tissue massage. Super nice ladies who did a couples massage for my fiance and I. Bonus is they are open late for those of us with difficult to accommodate work schedules!! 10/10 we are going back again for another date night .

A few months ago, came here for a 60 minutes deep tissue massage because my neck bothered me so much. So I asked to focus on neck/shoulder which she only worked on it for about 2 minutes after I faced up, she walked on my back from beginning through all most the end. Hello, I was asking for a deep tissue... VERY Unprofessional!!!!!!!!! I wont come back. DONT waste your money.
