Worst massage experience ever… walked in unfortunately the lady helping me did not understand the service I wanted handed me her phone to interpret. That I could understand. She left me at least 10 times during my service. And they switched therapist and the next one left me at least 15 times. Talk to the whole time nobody spoke English.

I had to wait for my tire change was complete at the Discount Tire around the corner so I decided to stop by for a massage.I walked in and it took someone about 2 full minutes to come to the front desk, she pulled out her phone to translate to me that I had to wait 40 minutes before I could get my massage.I dont understand how one could stay in business with the way this business operates. As a business owner myself always looking to promote and support small businesses this makes me upset.

My ORIGINAL review 9 months ago was...Loved it!!! Great massages! Exceptional prices!!..BUT.... On Saturday July 13, 2024 my husband and I went in for a massage like weve done many times before. In our YEARS of being LOYAL PATRONS here, we were met with the most nastiest, rudest attitude by the short lady working there from 9am through 130pm. She was so nasty and rude, that my husband and I vowed to NEVER support this business AGAIN!!! I have brought my out of town friends and family to this establishment for YEARS. Ive loved the owner and its staff for years. I dont know who the 2 women who were on the schedule on Saturday, July 13th were, but they need to be fired!To the owner, my husband and I have been loyal patrons to you and your establishment for many years. The treatment that we received on Saturday, July 13, 2024, was unacceptable. I will no longer refer anyone else to your business.Advice to management: Hire enough staff o that they wont have to interrupt clients massage tent to the front door and other customers simultaneously, hire staff with customer service skills.

Horrible experience recently which was unfortunate because I went one other time and had a decent experience why I came back. i walked in two ladies greeted me Saturday afternoon and didn’t speak any English at all. They also told me their credit card machine was down and only accepted cash so I had to pull money out of their ATM. The massage felt rushed and unprofessional. She kept talking to her friend during my massage. She even walked off multiple times which took away time from the hour I paid for. She went up the front once to speak to someone and was gone for about 5 mins and didn’t add it to my massage time. The relaxing music shut off half way through my massage and she didn’t turn it back on. After the massage she was aggressive about asking me for a tip. She blocked my path and was practically demanding a tip. I left more stressed out then I came in there. It was literally the worst experience I have ever had at a massage place.

As reading the other reviews I now see why I was treated unprofessional. I didnt realize it was under new management. I really enjoyed the ladies that worked there before. This place will not last long

Almost perfect! One big darkened room for foot massages and smaller ones for body massages. So, its an open feel so I rated down one star. This time I got a foot massage which was almost like an authentic China massage.35 dollars for one hour which is an ok value. About half the time on the top of the foot and the rest on the sole. Should be about 70% on the sole, but next time I will specify more time on the soles. Fairly good massage but not perfect. Next time I will ask for the boss with long hair. Cold water is a nice touch and very much an Asian way of greeting you.I will also ask for authentic cupping next time too. This draws out the toxins but may feel very strange to most unless you have had it done before.Chinese medicine is holistic...no pills to reduce stress and other ailments!

If you use Groupon, you will be getting ripped off. The service was amazing, I had a lovely time, but there is some shady business practice. I realized after returning home with a little flyer listing the services they offer.... The groupons here actually cost MORE than just buying from the merchant. See photos. The deal I bought, One Hour Combination Foot and Back is priced $55 on groupon but only $49 at the Top Reflexology Spa. Then there is the one-hour Foot Reflexology, costs $35 but $39 on Groupon, and the 90-minute Foot Reflexology priced at $59 but $69 in website!!! When I arrived I was offered to upgrade to a full-body massage for only $15 more but when you look at the listed prices on their handouts, a 60 minute combo massage and 60 minute body massage are both $49. And my Groupon, as well as their actual services flyer stated the combo massage included free cupping/hot stones/sea salt hot compress and I wasnt offered any of those. It felt really nice, of course, but Im a bit disappointed I didnt seem to get what I paid for. I wasnt asked about what was concerning me in terms of what I expected to be helped with my Reflexology session. I was hoping to be handled by an actually licensed reflexologist.

I have a voucher that was purchased as a gift for me from this business that doesn’t expire until December and I went in today July 21st and they said the new owner won’t accept my voucher

Easy to get in with great pricing and calm and relaxing music. I love the foot massage for reducing my overall stress. They have several excellent massage therapist and my favorite is Ivy as she does a great head and face massage while doing a full body to take out all my tension. Price is much better than the big name massage places. Wonderful kind people who work here.

Had not been here for some time— place has changed hands again—- still has great massages! Staff is friendly and patient providing a great service. Will continue to visit when required by the ole body.

We had a couples 30 min massage and it was very relaxing. The two Massage therapist are definitely skilled. We are excited to go back for an hour next time.

We scheduled a 120 minute couples body and foot massage at the last minute. Not only did they fit us in, but it was an amazing experience. They found all of our sore spots without us even telling them. In the top five massages I have ever had. We will definitely be back.

I know they were trying to create a soothing atmosphere, but the redish lighting was a little off putting. The masseuse never closed the curtain. I was only there for a foot massage, but it was still inconsiderate. She finished 5 minutes early. It was a mediocre effort. Then there was the lady in the next room that brought her child [no bearing on the establishment I guess]. But lets just say this was a less than relaxing experience. The bottle of water at the end was a plus. 🤷🏽‍♀️

First of all, the owner may not understand the difference between, 130 minutes to 1 an a half hours so dont be fooled. The hour and a half was less than a hour anyway. Smh. Also there might be a diversity 🤔 issue with the owner. The room my wife and I was in for a deep tissue massage was much different from the other rooms. The other rooms massage tables looks so much more comfortable and nicer than what we was laying on. My wife left out feeling hurt than relieved, so I dont think I would come back here.

The most unprofessional and uncomfortable experience of my life. Before we entered the room, the owner tried to tell us not to buy from Groupon (thats how we found them) and convince us to do 45 min foot, 10 min body (for the 130 min. Couples massage). The face spot on the the table had a paper towel over it we had to keep there during the massage. Once we get the massage started the owner comes bursting into our room about 3 minutes in demanding to know what day we made our appointment. We were massaged through sheets the first 10 minutes then overly exposed the rest of the time. It did not seem like they were trained or knew what they were doing at all. At one point he went over my spine with his elbow. The owner was repeatedly walking in and out of our room. The masseuses would talk to each other during it and the walls between rooms do not go up all the way so we could hear the person next door clearly as they talked and blew their nose. Near the end they wiped us down with a towel presumably to remove excess oil and he at first had no regard and was pulling out my hair. No part of me would ever return here.

Worst massage experience everrrrr ! The employees kids was there screaming & very loud while I was getting a massage it was very ghetto & unprofessional 😡. The second time they screamed I caught a instant headache & I stopped the massage and got my headphones out. I asked the man several times to massage me very soft he kept returning back to deep painful massage 😡. I never had a chance to relax until the very end when he used the hot rocks for maybe 10mins before it was over.

If I could give this place a 6 star, I would. I have never had a massage where they really got every inch of my body and in the best way possible. It makes me rethink ever going to any other massage establishment. You cannot beat the price for the quality either. Helen was phenomenal! Highly recommend. Im even sending my husband there next week 🙂

I called the day before I booked a massage for my wife and I and asked about the voucher that was posted on Groupon. The guy told me not to purchase from Groupon and that I could pay same the price that was posted for a couples massage which was $52 for 70 minutes. When we got there, we early for our appointment so they started on us. Even though the massages were ok, they were very rough and left feeling sore. I ended up paying $104 for our massages instead the $52 for the couples massages. Then the guy at the front desk said “you need to tip the workers.” So I gave both workers a tip. The lady had the nerve to turn her nose up at the tip I gave her. I will never go back to this place. Very unprofessional

Didnt give me my whole hour massage bc she had an attitude bc I told her I didnt want hot stones which cost more, I didnt ask for them from the beginning. Then tried to pressure me into giving a $10 tip and the massage was horrible, she was too close to my spine....

Absolutely worse massage. Booked a 130 minutes couples massage only to receive 60 minutes. False advertising! The massage bed was soo hard and uncomfortable. They used mainly their elbows and the entire experience was extremely painful. Our body was bruised and sore for days. In the middle of the massage they answered the phone and was speaking to customers twice!! Er could not wait to be done. Waste of money and time.

I went in with lower back pain, a guy checked us in and told us to wait 15 minutes. Which was fine because we did not have an appt. A lady came out who did not speak English well asking again what we wanted we told her 20 minute chair. They put us in a room for a table massage. She told me to get undressed down to my underwear which I thought was weird because I was there for chair. (I assumed they were using the table because they had no chairs) so I undressed thinking the lady was doing my massage. A gentleman enters the room and proceeds with my massage. He has no idea what I’m in there for because he didn’t focus on my lower back. His massage was very painful, I asked him twice not so hard he continued with my massage as if I never said anything to him. I was in complete pain during this whole visit to this place! This morning I can barely walk! I will never go to this place again! They need someone there that can speak some type of English! My boyfriend was with me, the lady did his massage, why don’t the guys to the guys and the lady do the women??

The worst massage experience Ive ever had. My girlfriend bought us a Groupon for 130 minutes of full body and feet. First the tables we laid on were too short and had the hardest face padding. We both were constantly adjusting our face and head to get more comfortable. Once started she asked her masseuse to lower his pressure not once, twice, but THREE times. We only got roughly an hour done when they said we were finished. The masseuse barely touched my feet and didnt touch my girlfriends at all. They only touched our backs, arms, and neck. Literally every other place has done both the back and front of our bodies as expected and they did not. When we asked about it we were told that we both got 65 minutes each for a total of 130 minutes and that we had to ask for feet to be done too even though it clearly stated that on the Groupon it was included. Weve gotten multiple massages at different places and never have they said the time was combined or that feet would be extra. Nowhere on the Groupon did it mention a combined 130 minutes either. Now its the day after and my girlfriend is experiencing MORE BACK PAIN than before we went because they didnt listen to her. Spend your money elsewhere.

I really like this place, best prices best massages, I just never know how much to tip. I feel like restaurant standards shouldn’t apply at a place I regularly spend 100$+ . If you guys could reply with tipping standards I will rate you 6 stars. Today I’m bringing my mom so if it’s 20% I will probably just have to hold off on coming so much, but I’ll still come.

If I could do no stars I would. I was simply looking to get a relaxing, calming massage but I was met with a massage from hell. The masseuse was extremely rough. The entire hour massage was painful every time I asked for him to be softer or gentle he seemed to get rougher. I didnt realize how bad my back was hurt until a couple hours later. I now know he performed an intensive deep tissue massage. I WILL NEVER GO BACK HERE. Save your money you will not get to relax if you get the guy I had.

I booked a 60 minute reflexology for $35 and was charged $60. I know showed her which one I wanted because of poor communication. She then said to me “sweetie 40min body and 20 min on the feet.” Uh ok because the massaged I booked said body and feet. But that wasn’t the case. Then she preceded to tell me that the $60 was for the massage and her tip was extra! I ended up paying $60 plus a $10 tip for a $35 massage. I also asked for a receipt of service and she acted like she didn’t know what I was talking about. Let’s just say I will go else where next time! Please if you decide to go be sure that you don’t get cheated! They seem to do that ALOT!! Just take your business elsewhere!

This was a last minute appointment for my sister and I. We usually go to another foot reflexology spa but they were booked so we decided to give this a try. When we arrived one of the workers were outside smoking a cigarette and then walked in with us. Trying to pay in the beginning was confusing and felt like we were negotiating. I was on firm on my decision; I only wanted a foot massage nothing more and that is the only option we wanted to pay for. After going back and forth for about 5 mins we were told to go into the room. The men started with a massage? We were so confused because we only wanted a foot massage. Needless to say that was the most roughest, painful back massage I EVERRRR had. My sister and I had to both say more than once, Too rough, softer, GENTLE! However, due to the language barrier, they didnt understand. I woke up the next morning with a bruise on my back. And lucky me, the guy who was outside when we pulled up was the one who did my massage so all I smelled was cigarettes. It was awful and I couldnt wait for it to be over, The foot massage wasnt any better.My sister and I literally awkwardly stared at each other trying to not to burst out laughing because of how bad it was. Would not go back and would not recommend.

130 minutes for couple but was only 60 unless you’re adding both together and forgetting the 10 minutes. Massage felt rushed and was very rough. Have a bruise on my back from an elbow deep in my skin. Lady massaging my fiancé was texting the guy she told us about before the massage. Was very disappointed.

A little confusing experience to be honest. I booked an appointment for myself and a friend for a girls day. When we checked in, we reiterated (and even pointed at the service menu) that we wanted the $88 combo service, 60 minutes foot and 60 minutes body. By the end of it, we ended up only receiving the $49 combo, 30 minutes foot and 30 minutes body. I’m not quite sure how there was any miscommunication about what we wanted when we specifically pointed to the menu and said we wanted the $88 service. In regards to the actual service, the foot massage was pretty good for me. For my friend, the gentleman kept leaving to answer the phone or the counter every five minutes. She did not recieve a longer foot massage than me either to make up for the lost time. We then were taken back to the body massage area. I was left in the room with no towel to cover up and no directions. I get massages about once or twice a year and typically there are sheets on the massage table and someone gives you directions. Finally someone came to check if I was ready and then they gave me a towel after I asked about it. In terms of the actual massage, I’d give it a 2 or 3 out of 5. My boyfriend gives a better massage to be honest. I am a fan of a very heavy-handed massage but at a few points it was a bit rough even for me. Lastly, my friend and I both were a bit uncomfortable with feeling a little exposed. No professional massage I’ve had before made me feel like my butt was exposed, but this one I definitely felt a draft on my butt crack. Each of us, after talking about it, discussed feeling a need to pull our underwear up a bit during the massage so as to cover our butts up. So that was a bit odd. I would not waste your time coming here if you are looking for a good massage.

I DID NOT receive the service per Groupon Offer! BAIT AND SWITCH! He stated that he was not making any money on Groupon. He stated that he is ONLY making $15.00 off this $50.00 offer. After he Redeamed my offer he refused to honor the Groupon. He also TOLD me to contact Groupon for a refund after he redeamed my offer without performing the massage. He stated no one was available. I COULD NOT believe this business owners ETHICS! He went on to demand for me to pay a generous TIP In advance for service never performed! I strongly recommend EVERYONE STAY AWAY! BUYER BEWARE!!! YOU WILL NOT RECEIVE YOUR SERVICE AND NO REFUNDS!

My partner booked this place as a surprise for Valentines Day, when we arrived they were not ready for us when they finally put us in a room there was no instructions on what to do they just put a bowl in the room with hot water and left it there. When they started messaging I told him he was too rough and he laughed. He kept leaving out of the room to check people in without telling me one moment please or let me know what he was doing. I have gotten several messages in my hometown and I have never had such a bad experience in my life if you are visiting VA Beach PLEASE SKIP THIS PLACE. I wish I could rate ZERO stars. To top it all off he asked us for a Tip because my partner bought a Groupon. I should of told him his tip is to take a customer service course online.

We enjoyed a couples experience with a blend of body massage and reflexology. Strength of our masseuses was powerful yet they were receptive to our requests (with one translating to the other) re. pressure used during their deep tissue techniques (for back, shoulder, and neck work.) The hot stone conclusion to the wonderful foot massage was amazingly pleasant! Facility was super clean and atmosphere was relaxing with a pleasing spa soundtrack. A definitely super deal with a Groupon special! We plan to return and do recommend Kevin and James, as top reflexologists.

Very confusing from the start on what was included in the service. Did 90 min foot and body combo. Started okay but the guy was really rough and didnt adjust at all. A couple came into the station next to me and were loud, on their phones, phones ringing and the guy was burping and passing gass and no one said anything to them about the noise or to silence their phones. The gentleman doing my massage was nice but started to pinch around my neck and I kept saying too hard but he didnt stop. I had to finally tell him I was done and it was hurting too much. I went to stand up and could barely move. I cant move my neck to the right or raise my right arm and have the worst headache. So much for a relaxing experience. Ill stick to going to Tao where it is always amazing and top notch service.

Made an appointment for Sunday at 1pm. We showed up at 1245 and the guy said he didn’t have any available slots for the couple massage. We clearly booked it; he showed us his appointment book, but didn’t properly schedule workers to work.

I bought a Groupon for this facility and made an appointment for 1pm. I had a 60 minute session booked. I arrived at about 1:20 and was told to come back at 4pm. I live in Hampton, so it would be too much to do that. I said well I can just do the last 30 minutes of the appointment if they couldn’t accommodate me the entire 60 minutes, which was fine because it was my fault I was late. She at first said yes (all through google translator by the way) then she calls the owner which he informs me they don’t have time today. I said that’s fine, I’ll return the Groupon. I left. Later today they inboxed me to give them another chance. Thanks, but no.

I pass by this business every day so I decided to give them a try. I called & made a same day appointment. I was greeted promptly & taken back to the spa area for my 1 hour foot reflexology appointment. The shoulder massage was more firm than I prefer although he did a good job. When it was time for the foot reflexology part I forewarned the Reflexologist about the firmness on my shins & had to remind him a few times during the session because it became painful. In my experience the atmosphere was not as relaxing as it could have been. My Reflexologist had to get up & address people entering the business at least 3 times during MY hour, interrupting my relaxation and his focus. Unfortunately I dont think I will be returning unless these issue are resolved.

Went for a couples massage and it was EXTREMELY painful. I asked for less pressure and she did not pay me any attention....AT ALL! This was a last minute resort but I will never visit them again! And then she had the nerve to ask for a tip!!! Ummm...NO!!!

Omg im in love, they worked ALL the kinks out of my lower back and shoulders. My husband and I got couples massages,and I was shocked that was being offered due to covid. It was an overall amazing experience and we will be back very soon!

Omg!! Wow wow wow! This place was amazing! I took my husband for a massage. I did not get a message but while I waited for my husband, I was allowed to sleep in their napping area. I was given a blanket and a heat pad for my feet :)This is the greatest experience!

Wow! I had 30 minutes reflexology and 60 minutes deep tissue. When I went in I was having such spasms in my lower back I could hardly walk. The deep tissue massage was intensely awesome. She worked hard at getting the knots to release.

The foot massage was excellent but the back, shoulder and neck massage hurt.The middle of my back was sore the next day. I did say something about it but nothing changed which is why my back hurting today. The 3 stars is for the foot massage.

Kevin is my bro, I always went to his place for massage. Some people just want gentle massage but I prefer the powerful massage. Kevin’s service is the best.

Received a couples 30 minute refluxolgy and basic massage.. the establishment was very clean and the employees were awesome. My husband and I would visit the establishment again when in the area.

Reflexology massage with hot rocks! Very strong massage and very thorough. Felt discrete and felt fantastic after massage.

Here is the place to go if you wanna go for deep tissue massage and foot reflexology. They hit the spot. It’s gonna hurt but those are the pressure points.

I’ve been at the gym all week and this is EXACTLY what I needed. They don’t speak English. But they do speak body language.Youyou spent time working out the kinks in my neck and knees. My only complaint is that they need a secretary to handle foot traffic while they are massaging.
