Xavier is fantastic! Did a couple’s massage and both massage therapists were great. My partner and I will definitely come back. Xavier definitely took into account what I shared and customized my massage and used just the right amount of pressure.The room could use a little bit more ambiance, but I really can’t complain. Thank you!

Solid massage! I’ll be back! We did a couples massage (kinda funny they confused our names but that’s not a big deal haha). Therapists did a great job on both of us. No complaints on the service at all - just wish there were some amenities in the space - like hanging out in a relaxation space after the massage while you drink water (there is a salt room but that’s an extra service) or a sauna for beforehand or something (that would make is an easy 5 stars for me)! The lobby is nice - we sat there for a moment to drink some water. I am looking forward to trying more of their services.

My daughter and I were visiting from out of town and needed a little self care/massage and decided to try this place (Capital Hill location). It was a nice clean, relaxing environment. The people are pleasant and professional. Would recommend 👍🏾

Mustard Seed is a welcoming place. The reception area is small but nice. The people were very friendly, my massage was great, and they are conveniently located in the Cap Hill area.The only drawback is that they could use some soundproofing. At least in the room I was in, car horns, sirens, and busses on Maryland Ave were constant, making it hard to relax. I could also hear loud voices coming from the hallway.Also, they are on the 2nd floor. So if stairs are a problem for you, ask if there is a more accessible entrance.

Excellent deep tissue massage by Dawn Weston on short notice.I did something to my lower back the day before traveling to DC. I saw the chiropractor the morning I flew to DC, but my lower back muscles were still super tight. I did not sleep well after flying all day.I called the Mustard Seed phone number an hour before they opened and got their messaging service. They called me back after 20 minutes and were able to put me in when they opened at 10 at the K street location. Dawn Weston gave me the best deep tissue massage I think Ive ever had. She was very professional and spent the majority of it on my lower back, as that was the reason for my visit.I would recommend Dawn and Mustard Seed to anyone that needs a massage in DC. I was able to function during my business trip. Anyone whose been to visit Capitol Hill knows that there is a lot of walking involved.

I’ve been coming to mustard seed since I moved to DC last year, and I can’t recommend them highly enough. The space is relaxing and calming, the location convenient, the staff friendly, and the therapists all excellent. Timothy in particular is an awesome massage therapist: really effective and thoughtful. He keeps my body in alignment given my active lifestyle and job working in tech.

Husband and I had parallel massages. I had prenatal with Jonah and he was wonderful though did not heed my request to do a scalp massage. Was clearly challenging for him to understand how difficult it is to maneuver as a 9 month pregnant person, but I’ll chalk that up to him being a male rather than personally. The worst part though was my husband’s massage - by Henry - which was not relaxing at all, in fact caused more stress. He spent 30 minutes on his left foot and moved around his body completely asymmetrically and with no consistency, despite being asked to otherwise. On top of that, the music station he had on came with commercials which was highly distracting. I booked these massages as a surprise relief for my husband before we begin parenthood and it ended up doing more harm than good - mentally and to our bank account. Won’t be coming back and suggest anyone who wants a relaxing experience to stay away.

Jonah and his holy healing hands did me justice! After my other massage place closed, I was in desperate need of finding another location for my deep tissue massages. I decided to go with the intuitive massage based upon my needs. He got all the knots out and relieved all my pressure points. Adding that eucalyptus aroma was a plus to help me stay calm and relaxed. I will be back and appreciate Mustard Seeds professionalism throughout the booking process. Even though it was expensive, it was worth every penny.

I’ve gone to Mustard Seed three times since they opened near me. They’re always consistent and are a reasonable price. I’d highly recommend Crystal for the deep tissue massage.

My husband and I did a couples massage, and although we had different massgers with different tactics, it was each of our best massages ever!! For days after, we felt reborn. The place isnt necessarily really fancy looking but its clean and youll get a fabulous massage! Thats all that matters!

I had a great massage here and the staff was very accommodating. I actually went to the wrong location and management/massage therapist were kind of to see me even though I arrived very late (I was the last client of the day so I didn’t impact anyone else’s session). I didn’t feel like my session was rushed and I was treated very nicely. I’d definitely come here again as both DC locations that I visited were friendly and the atmosphere was great.

My first visit here. Front desk receptionist was ok in greeting me. My massage guy Jonah Kim was great! He was very warm & welcoming. Very nice & sweet. Gave great massage. Gave me a bottle of orange juice upon my departure. Receptionist asked how I felt, now she talks, I guess BecauseIt was time to pay that bill lol 😆 .Overall experience was good. Very nice environment & clean rooms. Receptionist should always be JOLLY & JOYFUL when greeting paying Customers.

Had a great time here! Everyone was so nice and so helpful and explaining what a facial was going to be like for my first time getting one. I believe the lady who did my facial was named Alexis and she was super helpful and nice! She did a wonderful job on my face! She also taught me a lot of other things on how to take care of my face, which is way above, and beyond what I was expecting to get while here, so I can’t wait to come back again in the future!

I have post concussion syndrome which flared up. Timothy worked some serious magic on my back, shoulders and neck and cleared out the swelling. Ive seen a few people.over the years and he was definitely the best of them.

This was second visit to Mustard Seed-Capitol Hill this year and I felt totally taken care of and treated well. Xavier was awesome! He really helped relieve some stiffness I was struggling with for weeks. My first massage there earlier this year was also awesome. Its also very clean! LaTasha is the best! Ive seen her a couple of times, and she alleviated a lot of pain I was having in my shoulder and neck. She can really pinpoint the issue and keeps going over until theres no more pain points. Definitely recommend!

LaTasha gave me such a great deep tissue massage! She found all my crunchy muscle areas and by the time I walked out everything felt much looser and more relaxed.

Definitely the best massage I’ve had in the city so far! LaTisha was extremely kind and made the environment so relaxing and calm. I came in with my normal neck/shoulder/lower back pain and I feel like a new person already! I loved the technique where she would massage straight from my calf up onto my lower back and then neck. I felt like all my body was connected and that definitely made an impact on my lower back pain. I feel 100x better, my pain is gone, and I feel so relaxed and centered in my body. What a great way to spend my Sunday. I will definitely be back!!

Just finished having the best massage of my life. Jonah is a highly skilled master of his craft. I told him what areas of my body were bothering me and he got right in there, working some magic. I scheduled a myofascial release massage, but he seemed to use several different techniques to really get to my problem spots. It might be a bit expensive but it was worth every penny. The only negative was the receptionist who is not very friendly or welcoming.

So grateful & thankful my brother & his lovely wife got me a massage for my bday!!! TIMOTHY WAS AMAZING!! BEST MASSAGE EVER!!!His skills & techniques are above & beyond!! After a head on near fatal car accident he was able to make a HUGE difference for my body, mind, & spirit!! I was actually able to get a good night sleep for the 1st time in 3 years!! Jonah Kim is a GODSEND. I’ve had a tension headache, let on by crazy deep knots in my neck. I also have a sensitive shoulder (liable to dislocate). I felt so cared for. By far the best massage I’ve ever had. I’ll be back.

Annie is a magician. Ive seen her twice now for TMJ massage and the amount of relief I feel is indescribable. She understands the interconnectedness of the body so well. She doesnt even spend that much time on my jaw or neck; instead, shes working spots on my arms, hands, finger, toes, and by the time shes done, Ive regained all range of motion in my neck and the pain is gone. She lets me know before when the pressure is going to hurt and gets my consent, and let me tell you, that bit of good pain is so worth it! Shes also taught me techniques to use at home so it doesnt get so bad in the future. My pain and discomfort are from stress, so I know I need to work on that, but its great knowing Annie is there when it gets bad and I need some relief. Simply amazing!

First impression is everything! An extremely clean environment is breath of fresh air and I like that its conveniently located in the city. My massages have always felt unrushed and I get the feeling the staff genuinely cares about your comfort and overall details regarding your massage. This was my first visit to Mustard seed and I’m so glad I found it. That was definitely up there as one of the best massages I have ever had (deep tissue with Jonah). The staff is friendly and the space is lovely and quiet.

I recently conducted a business transaction with Carine, the owner of the business. Our transaction extended through the process involved in her opening her business via Architectural and Construction support. However, Carine’s spirit of endurance, resilience, and grace of spirit was something that I haven’t seen in a long time. The challenges that she faced and overcame would probably deter other people from moving forward. Although she said that I helped her, I have to say that she really helped me by showing me what it takes to be successful in starting up a new business such as hers. She is a true winner, and I am sure that she will be successful in this business and any other business that she undertakes.
