Dupont Nails and Spa

I had a very unfortunate experience at Dupont Nails and Spa/Spa Logic. My basic pedicure took over two hours (with 45 mins spent waiting for my nails to dry). But I think because of the quality of the nail polish used and/or the number of layers the technician used, my nails were a complete mess. The technician assured me my nails were dry and I was good to go, but as you can see in the picture that was not the case.

Great service. Friendly staff. I always come back here!Only downside is once they take you over to the dryers they kind of forget about you so you either have to touch the nail to make sure it’s dry, or hope for the best.

I had the BEST mani pedi I’ve ever gotten in DC with their newest talent, Jerlyne. She did such a great job- perfectly neat, thorough on the cuticles but still gentle, and my nails look amazing. She was so nice and attentive. She’s definitely my new go to person!

Highly recommend! We will definitely be coming back! They took the time to make sure that our pedicures were excellent. The spa pedicure was so relaxing.

Although I moved to Virginia, I still take the drive to come here. I love Mandy is a perfectionist and dont need to say anything about missing some spot. In a rare instance if I need to, shes great and goes with the flow definently recommend!

I love this place! Its the only place I go to get my nails done, specifically with my favorite nail tech, Lovely. Shes the best! Shes kind, efficient, and does a great job. Lovely does it all: regular mani, gel, dip powder and pedicures. Ive been seeing her for 3+ years and dont know what Id do without her.All of the staff at Dupont Nails is great. They have quick service and treat everyone with respect. It is a super popular place and they occasionally have a wait, but its worth it. They offer complimentary wine, water, or tea with every service and they work hard to make sure youre satisfied with your visit. Their services are warrantied for a few days, so if your polish happens to chip, theyll gladly fix it at no charge.

The staff is kind and professional. Unfortunately, I would not recommend them for anything more than a basic manicure or pedicure. The nail art does not look like it was done by a nail tech at all, but rather as if a friend was experimenting with designs. The picture I showed them was not the design I got, and sadly, I was pretty disappointed in how my nails turned out.

Best nails ive ever had! We made appointments arrived earlier than expected (traveling) by about 30min they took us and the lady i had was magnificent! She took her time, explained everything, and NOT one nail was Crooked!!!! She never tried to pressure me into better products she offered, i said no thank you and she kept on with her work. If i lived in the area i would never go elsewhere.Fyi: its a very small tight space but they honestly do make the best of it, when i first walked down there my anxiety went crazy but they offered wine and everyone was very organized and polite.

Had the great luck of getting Sam on my first trip to Dupont Nails. Have now seen her twice and am absolutely in love with her attention to detail and sunshiney personality. I loved the color on her nail when I visited this weekend, and she was kind enough to go find the bottle to paint my nails the same color instead of what I had picked out. I also had the misfortune of two broken nails- one broken down the center, and she knew exactly how to fix them and make them look beautiful despite the short length. I have my next appointment scheduled and cannot wait to see her again. She is truly the best!

Tina was my nail tech she took her time to repair someone elses past mistake. I had a great convo with Che Che n Lady Lovely . My experience was like walking into a Paul Mitchell or Aveda spa and salon. Oh and the glass of wine was well needed. I will definitely be back.

The SNS selection was only maybe 50 colors, and the manicure was the worst I’ve had in DC. Multiple nails are different lengths and the polish is uneven at the base on multiple nails. The reason I give them two stars is because the nail technician was willing to try and make it right but really it was unsalvageable.

Love my experience here every time and each nail tech takes the time to make your nails look how you want

LOVE this spot! They do such a great job - salon specialists are professional, great at their jobs and the perfect balance of being friendly yet not overbearing/overly chatty - this allows you to truly relax and do your own thing! People are generally respectful here about not taking phone calls, making it the perfect place to listen to music (headphones always), read or unwind 📚 It also helps that they offer a complimentary drink including water, tea or wine 💆🏻‍♀️

This salon used to be good and consistent. It’s going downhill. Communication is bad and they don’t do half of the services a requested even after asking twice.

I enjoy getting my nails done here! I go twice a month and always get stellar service. I highly recommend.

The technician was nice and courteous and did a great pedicure but was horrible at shaping and doing overlay for my hands. When I asked for a new person she begged me to let her finish and assured she was going to make it right. End of story, I left with her drawing blood through careless use of the tools on three different fingers and a nail overlay that looks like a five year old did it. All I can say is beware here—there are qualified techs and obvious novices. This place takes the relaxation out of services because you have to watch everything until you’re certain what kind of tech you have.

The only place where gel nails have lasted up to 4 weeks! Have visited other places and getting my nails done have not been the same. All the girls and the gents are great but my very most favorite has been Jessica. She can give the best manicure Ever! All are very friendly and you can get wine to drink while getting your nails done. No better place in DC.

I tried Dupont Nails for a gel french manicure and was very pleased with the results. I was very impressed with how clean the place was. The second time I got a spa pedicure in addition to my manicure--I have never had such a wonderful pedicure in my life. My feet and legs felt fantastic when I left. I will definitely come back when Im in DC again.

Jenny really spent a lot of time making sure my nails we perfect! She checked in a ton, making sure I didn’t need a beverage and that I was comfortable. All of the stations have chargers which is a nice touch. It’s a little narrow just cause it’s below ground but they really are doing the most with the space they have!

This was a good place for a nice, relaxing spa experience. We were given beverages and wine during our brief wait, robes and slippers to change into. Above all SARAH performed on of the best head to toe massages Ive had in a long while. She does not have the typical technique; shes good at what she does. If I lived in DC Id go back to her AGAIN! Thanks to all the staff at DuPoint who treated us so well, especially the receptionist who honored the price listed online even though it was a $30 difference! She accommodated us with no hesitation!!!

If I could give 0 stars I would. I paid $149 for services and my nails looked horrible 4 days later. She also made me bleed. I had Lee, whom didn’t finish, a guy finished and my paint job was horrible. He was good at shaping though because she couldn’t seem to get the Almond shape right.Aisha

I received a Groupon for Mothers Day and was not expecting the quality of service that I received. My visit started with an exceptional Reflexology massage from SARA, followed by a soothing facial with SUSAN. I was then escorted downstairs where I had a glass of white wine while I enjoyed my Pedicure with SOPHIE and a Manicure with JESSIE? SORRY cause I know i butchered her name. You guys took exceptional care of me and treated me with the best customer care I have ever received in a nail salon thus far.... THANKS FOR SUCH A GREAT, SOOTHING AND RELAXING EXPERIENCE!!!!!

Ill admit, Im particular about how I like my nails to look (especially because of my job) and even sometimes feels like Im annoying but She did a great job. I got a mani pedi that was part of a Groupon package and while the actual work was good, I had to wait almost an hour to be seen despite having an appointment. This was particularly frustrating because I was done at 11 pm instead of 10 pm... It is cool of course that they are open so late, but I didnt want to be out so late. The woman doing my mani pedi didnt want to be either, so she rushed the massage and exfoliation parts to get it all over with and those are the most relaxing parts. Again, my nails look great but I was frustrated by the rest of it.

What a GREAT place!!!! I just had my first and BEST spa pedicure by Jessica and she is FABULOUS!!!! My legs and feeg feel lighter and more rejuvenates than ever. Gotta come check her out You will NOT be disappointed. And the wine is just a bonus. Everyone here is extremely friendly and eager to please. I will Definitely be back! Oh and did I mention the massage afterwards??!!??!??! PERK!

My nail tech was nice, so I will not complain about that. However a week and a half ago I got sns and its already chipped and fallen off my nails. I asked my nail tech to not make it too thick because it peels and she was very confident in the way she was doing it so I trusted her. Additionally, the nail tech asked if I wanted my cuticles cut, I figured this came with the service and I was a little thrown off when it was an additional ten dollars. It was also not communicated with me that it was an extra service. Im very upset that I spent $65 including tip on a service that didnt last for two weeks. I typically get SNS and it stays on for WEEKS. $65 is NOT cheap for something to last for that little. I very rarely leave negative reviews, but I am pretty dissatisfied with this.

This place is great. Ive gotten a massage upstairs and then a manicure downstairs. From top to bottom, everyone was super nice and polite. They offer wine which is really nice and the prices are affordable. Id definitely recommend this spot. Also Mike was great and helpful!

Absolutely the best place Ive been in DC. The staff are wonderful and the service is fantastic. Been my nail-home for the past several years. Kathy, the owner, knows and remembers the regulars. Christy on front desk in the nail area is delightful, and they always check that youre happy with the service. Wonderful.

The spa pedicure is a joke. I had one of the men at the nail studio and he did a terrible job. The paint is chipping after 2 days, the color is dull and painted on in an uneven way, the cuticles were not pushed or cut, and the massage was laughable, and the price exorbitant for what the service was ($48). The place smells of chemicals and is little more than a cramped basement. The two stars is for the welcoming girl at the door who gets an A+ for customer service skills.

I really want to love this place, but a mani that lasted 2 days before cracking and a pedi that lasted < a week? I would skip this place. The man that did my mani pedi was very fast, but now I can see why. Where he was fast, he lacked efficiency. Here I am, 5 days later, looking to get another pedicure because polish has chipped off 2 toes. Any place that does a mani and pedi under an hour is cause for concern. The good news is they have free wine, but is it enough for me to come back? Probably not.

This place is awesome! I needed my nails done badly. They really stay open until 11. My tech was Diamond and she hooked me up! She even found the color on my nails to match my toes! Im not going anywhere else!

My manicurist was friendly and efficient, but this place is stuffy, cramped, and below street level. That being said, its probably the best price youre going to get for a decent manicure in the neighborhood. I appreciated that they made sure the manicurists use safety precautions, like wearing masks

I have been here several times, and LOVE it. A couple of weeks ago, I popped in at 7:30pm. They welcomed me with a glass of wine & a smile. By the time I was finished, I was the last one in the salon, but never felt as if they were rushing to leave.

Barbie did a great job on my pedi and gel mani. I came with a friend and we didnt have an appointment, but there is a lot of space in this chic basement spa and they were able to seat us right next to each other without much of a wait as we got our services done.

Yesterday was our last day here and we decided to go to this nail spa and it was outstanding. The level of service year was something to speak about. They did a great job on all of our nails. Next stop New Orleans!

5 minute walk up Connecticut from Dupont metro. Basement level. Signage is easy to spot. Accepts cards and has ATM for cash tips. Narrow space but they do maximize what they have amd the color scheme does wonders to open things up. Could easily get uncomfortable at peak times.I came on a Tuesday night after 8pm with no reservation and was seated for a pedicure immediately. My coat was stored for me and I was offered water or wine. I chose the spa pedicure with scrubs, paraffin wax, hot towels, and massage. Anu did an amazing job throughout. There are large TVs and I was able to use my Verizon service with non o issue despite being below street level. No wi-fi.I would recommend nail services at this salon. Ask for Anu if you want a great pedicure. Im looking forward to trying other services!

I stopped by for a walk-in for SNS nails. Vivian was amazing! She really took her time to take care of my nails and was sweet and funny to talk to. I highly recommend this salon.

My favorite dc nail salon. Never been disappointed in any service!! nicest techs and front desk! Ive been coming here for years and they always accommodate me. Theyre great.

The special pedicure was nice; they exfoliate your feet then use mint gel on your legs while your feet soak in wax to soften them. They massage your leg after and a short shoulder massage comes with it. The staff is very friendly.

Went in to get dip powder nails with my mom. Both of our nail technicians were rough and careless. Mine started by incorrectly removing my previous polish (scraping it off with a metal tool instead of letting it soak in acetone) then further damaging my natural nail by taking a rotating sander to the surface. During the actual application they continued to make mistakes. My moms technician put on the wrong top coat, mine is super uneven. And we both ended up with nicks and cuts along the cuticle. BUYER BEWARE!!!

I had a great experience at this salon, they have quite an offering, they are very professional, courteous, and plus! There are a few options in the area that I explored and I am very pleased with having gone here, lovely place!

Im so glad I found this gem near my work. The service is quick and friendly, its not too crowded and they really took care when doing my pedicure and callous remover. Much better than the nearby, crowded Mimosa. Will come again!

Tried this place out based on Yelp reviews, and left with a really bad manicure. My nails were filed waaay too short, and many were uneven. The color application was sloppy and uneven as well. Maybe my nail tech just wasnt as experienced as the rest, but I would still recommend skipping this salon. There are many others in the area.

Usually good. Some of the technicians are a bit rough - one of them I avoid cause she cut my foot open 😮 but I like others.

It was a nice place I had a relaxing time but it felt like the nice woman doing my nails was in a rush...my favorite part of getting a mani/pedi is the massage and both my massages felt like they took 2 minutes so that was u fortunate but still very nice and good polish selection...also had NO IDEA they served wine which is unfortunate to read now that Ive left haha

Nothing beats getting a shoulder massage whilst getting a manicure. Also very clean and well organized place. Reception was friendly and helpful as well.

Literally the best way to spend any day of the week. I got a package with a facial, mani pedi, and massage. I upgraded to a microderm and gel polish. Sedi was amazing

They did a terrible job on the pedicure. The nails werent filed smoothly, the polish wasnt smooth, and there was polish on the edges around the nails.
