I havent been here since I was a kid and my did it have a glow up. I like the wall art and the lighting. Nice to see an adult bar section. The arcade game room is pretty awesome. Good size and a lot of game to play with. My kids really like the arcade area. We came for a bday party and it was a lot of fun .
Im new to Texas. And have been exploring places to hang out. Ive only visited Funcity Sk8 once and its going to be on my list of places to visit again. I went for the adult skate held on Saturday nights. And it was a good time! I recommend anyone who has any affinity for skating to check this place out.
Mixed feelings. In the past 4 months we celebrated 2 birthdays here and it was a great experience. We since returned for recreational skate and it was not as accommodating. Came during lunch time, and they closed the concession. More personnel is needed when large groups, like daycares, are scheduled to be there. The vent in the bathroom looks like it has not been cleaned since I skated there as a young girl. The music was too loud, and I like loud! The workers are friendly, but not likely to problem solve. The price is OK for on ocassion, but not realistic for frequent visits. Will try other options in the area next time.
First we got there at 7pm and paid our money 2 get in ,an then later we find out they closing at 9pm because someone booked a party, so that meant we didnt have time 2 really enjoy ourselves and there were 11 kids with us so it was pretty pricey. We ordered pizza and 10 icees, the kids were rushed to skate and eat.I wanted 2 no why it wasnt on a sign outside or on the website that they will be closing early for a party because we were cheated out of an hour to skate.The girl said they couldnt post it just for one night, I think thats horrible service and wont b going back, I really want half my money back.
I brought my daughter here for her birthday and spent $200 for two hours. The service was horrible. People who showed up after us were getting their food before us, and the section that we got was already taken over by a family. They moved us down to the end, and then never brought us our food drinks, etc. until we complained. I went and ordered pizza and I got my pizza before our party did which is crazy because I ordered pizza an hour later after arriving. For $200 for two hours I expected better service. This goes to show that they do not value you as a customer. They even have friends there throughout the day who they put before customers who actually pay. I will not be coming back or recommending anyone pay or use them.
Love this place! Great atmosphere, especially compared to other rinks I’ve been to. Staff is always nice and helpful. Bar has good prices. Super diverse crowd. They have two adult nights every Wednesday and Saturday. Ladies night on Wednesdays is only $5! $10 for guys. They do seem to play the same playlist every Wednesday - good classic tunes, although it gets repetitive if you go every week like I do. Saturday has a dj and the vibes are more hip hop if that’s what you’re looking for!
Came here during spring break with the kids they enjoyed themselves.You have to sign a waiver before entering even if your not skating. It doesnt take long.My daughter is 3 so they gave her toddler skates that fit around your shoe, but I also ask the clerk for the good skates but it only goes as low as toddler size 9.She had to have a skate cane to help her that was $5.00 separate from the purchase.My son was he plenty of times on feild trips so he enjoied it more.They set up games to play through out the day for the kids.They have a food court, small menu but great for kids. I didnt see any bathrooms but Im sure there is.Tons of tables and they have a birthday area, lounge area, and gaming area but the gaming area isnt much most of the games either font work or are just gemic games. Credits will add up and you can get a prize on your way out.Great places to wear your kids out and have fun at the same time. Definitely recommend 👍🏾

From the time I put the deposit down to calling and reassuring a week before to 30 minutes before my daughters party started everyone I talked to was an amazing experience! I have super bad anxiety when it comes to planning and making sure everything goes smoothly. And let me tell YOU, it did! Both of my hostesses were right there throughout the party helping me and answering all my questions. The super awesome lady (I believe the manager) she had rocken purple hair comforted me before the party and answered all of my questions! It was such a great experience and all the kids and of course my daughter had the absolute best birthday party!! If you are planning or thinking about doing a birthday party here please consider it. Also make sure to ask questions and to have all your ducks in a row like having every adult do the wavier before hand to make check in smooth for you guests. I did this and everyone got in quick and didn’t have to wait. We definitely will be coming back! Thank you so much for a fantastic birthday party for my girl!!!
My family has been coming here for the last 12 years. We love it. Always good family fun which is affordable. We have never had any problems here because management runs a tight ship. Although it had always been nice, someone recently came in and spent quite a bit of money on updates. They now have a designated learner area for novice skaters. I dont ever want to see this place close. It has been great for my family fun nights
Have the kind of fun you set your mind to. Exercise, dance, bring a date, figure skate, birthday party, drink in the bar, watch the disco lights. There are a few coin games. I never saw the place close to capacity. Music requests by skaters.
FunCity Sk8 has such a potential to be awesome. There arent many roller skating rinks in the area, but their business decisions are abysmal.We showed up to celebrate my husbands 34th birthday and they wouldnt let us bring in the cake we brought because we didnt book a party package. (Who books a party package for an adult party?)We had 26 people come with us who each paid to skate. I was ready to buy drinks and food for all of us and they wanted us to pay $60 to rent a table JUST so I could bring in the $20 cake I brought.I asked if theyd prefer me to buy a cake from them, but they dont sell cake...So they were going to turn away hundreds of dollars in business over a $60 table rental.If we hadnt had people driving from out of town to come, we wouldnt have stayed. We had about 10 kids in our group who are always looking for birthday party venues and they lost all that business too.The managers werent nice. They nickel and dime you for every little thing. They will never get another penny from me.
Came in and the people were extremely rude. The worker in the rink got mad because we kept stopping. Obviously as beginner skaters, not everyone can continue going non stop. We were cussed out by the worker and the police were called. Although things could have been handled different on our end, there was no need for this situation in the first place.
Went for a birthday party. Its kept ni e and cold which is great since you are working up a sweat while skating. They req you to leave your shoes for the skate rental. I think thats great, it saves from having to pay for a locker. The food is over priced. The amount of nachos chips you get for nachos is a slap in the face. The hot dog were made to order. The floors that didnt have carpet were quite dirty.
1st Timer last night. PACKED !!! 10p-2AM. I liked this lil spot. Been in Texas 5 years and just now found this place. The DJ LAST NIGHT he was nice it was a mixed crowd but he definitely played some hits old school and new. The rink is big they got lockers, a bar and food. ALOT OF OF SEATING. No complaints just wish I would have found it sooner. Stood in a long line just to get in PD $12 because I brought my own skates. Had a good time really enjoyed myself!!! You can be a spectator for $15 if you can’t skate FYI lol many of those too in there.
I waited over 15 minutes to order food and when I finally ordered a chili cheese dog for $4.50 ($4.75 after tax), I waited another 20 minutes to go up there and ask for my money back but in the time I was waiting to get an employees attention my buzzer rang and I reluctantly and regrettably took my food. They handed me two tiny little plastic to go sauce cups, one with the bottom of the barrel last of the chili for the night, and the other almost spilling over with what I thought was ranch at first but she told me it was white queso. It was disgusting do not pay for the hotdog or chili cheese dog. The chili tasted disgusting and I didnt even eat the queso because I thought I would be getting regular yellow cheese. So disappointed, literally ruined the rest of my night.
Very disgusting place its dirty old and outdated. The employee on the floor watching the skaters is extremely rude and owner is rude as well. Got cussed out because I wanted a refund. Do not recommend this place for anyone.
First time here and they failed to tell us when we were checking in at 5:45 WITH kids they close at 6 and will reopen at 6:30 but that it’s an extra charge to stay and that we can no longer keep the skate carts for the kids. Every person working here aside from the concessions were rude. So this was our first and last time here.
Owners are super unprofessional, they treat customers bad especially when you don’t understand something .the police officer that is watching the facility is very aggressive and ugly/acts rude. We will never go back and will never refer anyone to go there.

20 years of good vibes turned to huge disappointment in one minute. Recent hip surgery and took my grand boys out of house for a while, left early to catch the front parking space because I haven’t received my hands-cap sticker yet. An employee ran out and took parking from me. Struggling, went inside to mention to manager. Apparently clients are not important. Managers (2, a male and female which never introduced themselves) adamantly said, “ he works here and parks there for the last 4 years”! I pleaded that he has a handicap sticker and he could have parked in that space and he couldn’t be that bad after watching this employee pick up 6 cases of water.As a manager of an establishment myself, my reasoning would had been towards the struggling client that arrived 30 minutes early to get front space! I will never visit there again! Pearland has a nice rink with better manners!Smh
They advertised on Instagram that adult nights on Wednesday would be $8 entry. Once I arrived, the lady said the adversiment was incorrect and it would be $14. I said maam, I have my own skates, and she said its still $14. I dont pay $14 bucks to skate in Atlanta. $14 bucks to skate on a Wednesday night is nasty work and simply outrageous. Also, The floor was absolutely disgusting crumbs were everywhere.
We had our daughter birthday at this place in May 2019. I had been there once in 2010, and I remembered that it looked old back then. Hoping that the place had changed after those years, we gave it a try. Unfortunately, the place was worst than before. Very outdated, smelly and dirty. The birthday itself without me doing everything from setting up the table to cutting the cake would be a disaster. The hostess wasn’t helpful at all.The place consists of small trampoline area for the younger kids, arcades ( few games), and the main skating area. Food is available as well.
I experienced blatant racism at this establishment. Throughout our visit, they discriminated against my mom and even went so far as to call the police because we voiced dissatisfaction with an hour-long wait for pizza on my little sisters birthday. Shockingly, when the authorities arrived, no action was taken despite clear discrimination. I strongly advise against choosing Fun City Skate for your outing.
Where can I start?! Staff is amazing and very helpful with all questions. Super friendly and crazy good atmosphere and vibes. Great snack bar with different varieties of small eats and goodies. Did I mention they have a BAR?!!! I’m sure the only skating rink in Houston that has a bar. Music is always on point especially for the adult nights!!! Havent been skating in decades but I got out there with my little ones and we had so much fun. Will definitely be there this summer.
This skating center is perfect for parties of all ages! They have a glow in the dark rink, an arcade, and food on site. The rental fee is reasonable. Bring your own skates for a better deal. It is military friendly! The only reason I gave a 4-star is customer service. The type of business, convenient location and the fact that it targets all ages is what makes this venue thrive financially but without customer service makes me think twice to return. They will milk you. The hostess will cross-sell, ask to add more people to the party and there are hidden fees when you close out the bill (ex. Admin fee, credit card fee) they will add the gratuity fee whether the hostess checked up on the party or not. I asked about this and it was an “Oh, well that’s what it is” attitude so be conscientious. Other than that, it is a fun place and the kids had a great time.
First time here as a party guest and what a terrible experience. Attendants would not release skate guards because it was after 6 and apparently it’s their practice. I asked to speak to the manager who said the same thing. That’s great and all but then why on earth would you allow someone to book a kids party in this time slot?! Manager confirmed they don’t advertise this rule or disclose it to the customer when booking - even though they do ask for the guest of honor’s name and age. The manager said people “should know” of this rule because it’s what they’ve done for years. No hold harmless waivers signed for kids just adults so not sure how they haven’t been sued for injury yet. What a joke.
3 pairs of skates plus (2) 5 dollar cards to play video games plus renting skater assist thingy for my son over 60 dollars. My son fell lost his skating assister. Your policy is he has to pay for another rental. You dont have any available, but yet you continue to take money for rentals and no time table for when one will be available? Its way too crowded not enough proper help.

The DJ is awesome. Here hell do. A birthday wish for you over the PA system and play your favorite song. Even if youre not coming here to celebrate a birthday. The drinks are reasonably priced in the bar area for the adults. And it looks like the kids are having a great time. If you got kids, this is a great way to make them tired
My kids had fun but every thing is so overpriced. You even have to pay for the little rails that the young ones can hang on to while they skate. My kids had fun and Im glad they did but I spent over $100 here and I will not come back willingly. Food was of course overpriced and just what youd expect at a gas station.
We celebrated my daughters 7th birthday here this Sunday and omg we all had a blast !!!!!!!! We reserved the whole skating rink to ourselves 50 plus people ! That was a plus most definitely worth it ! The young lady in the front & everyone attended us very well we picked mixture of music they did an awesome job of your looking to have your kids party here definitely go for it & experience it for yourself !!! Will definitely be back ! Thanks for making my daughters birthday extra special she won’t stop talking about it even our guest kept telling us that it was badass! ! Thank you

I like the atmosphere but the inline skates they rent are so cheap and old. The insides are crusty, the laces are all chewed up, the eyelet holes are broken and don’t hold the laces and the buckles snap open. Unless you have your own skates, it’s not worth it.
Horrible place and racist! I went for my baby 6th bday I used a cash app card to pay because their apple pay wasnt working! I used that same card to order food for kids! After waiting a hour and no pizza I went to check and manager was rude and said so u want a refund! I took refund and continued skating! Two kids were crying they were hungry so I went to get two slices and fries! The manager then said no cash app cards after using it to get in and order pizza they never made! I was visibly upset ND asked to speak with higher up! They called police and after taking my money from a cash app card they called police! But because I committed no crime I was just made to leave! The proper thing woulda been to at least feed the two kids crying it isnt like I wanted anything free! 6 year old left crying and had to see mom talking with police! Horrible people

The 2 star rating is for one particular employee only I didn’t catch her name but she was the one with short hair. She was very rude and I didn’t appreciate how she spoke to us. We spent a lot of money there for a private birthday. Luckily it was my 7 year old birthday so I kept quiet. She looked like she didn’t want to be there. However the rest of the staff was very sweet and kind. The DJ did a fantastic job and helped a lot with the party as well. The family and I did have lots of fun. I recommend this place however the rude lady needs to readjust her attitude and show more respect to paying customers. To the staff thank y’all for all your help and making my daughters birthday memorable.

Idk what happened to this place. I brought my kid, after 2 years, and the person (tall black dude) no offense, who’s on the floor in charge of keeping the rink safe, he treated me and told me he was going to kick my 9-year-old out of the rink for stopping because he almost felt & it pisses me off so I decide to leave. As a Latina, I understand the rules but I saw a lot of kids stopping by the wall because they almost fell and he would say “You cant stop here” without a warning and he didnt say he was going to kick them out. also, there are no signs for the kids to know. I felt it was unfair. Also when we were leaving by the bar between the office I smelled marijuana which is inappropriate for kids. Anyway, you can go see for yourself, but I do not recommend it especially if your are white.

I’ve been here before for a friends birthday and recently went back for another birthday. It was beautifully upgraded and I almost didn’t recognize it. They have an amazing bar, beautiful expansion for an arcade area. The adult night was a blast and I would be back if it wasn’t so far from me.

The taller black man wearing a ref shirt is very very aggressive to everyone with no respect if you ever stop or fall he will yell at you that you can not stand still even if you instantly get up on your feet l. I’ve been here a few times and never had issues with any other employee I believe he should get talked to about his attitude and respect he shows to costumers and especially the kids. He also makes several snark remarks if you ask him something he does not feel like answering .
The employees are awesome. But the owners have so many issues that they HAVE to fix. I will no longer support this skating rink. The employees are underpaid and take the brunt of the complaints. The party packages you purchase online are not the same as the brochure at the facility. Make sure you read everything and are getting what you paid for. The owners are brother and sister and need to make things right.
Dont not skate here after 6 pm if your not a professional skater. Beginners are not welcome and constantly threatened if in one place to long. Which understandably you gotta keep going. However the staff picks and chooses who to threaten with the warnings. Do not recommend for first timers.
We have scheduled my little girls birthday party And this time it was different and we had many parties here but this time it was horrible. Not sure if there is some new owners but this time everyone was rude as hell. The big guy that refs the skate ring doesnt know how to talk to people, absolutely no people skills what so ever. This place went Ghetto fast. The staff in the past was very polite and friendly. I do not recommend this place to anyone anymore.
We visited this place for a bday party. If you’re over 21 you need to sign a waiver and apparently there’s alcohol for adults. I cent attest to prices because we were there for a party but I did pay $5 to rent adult skates. We had pizza, it was surprisingly good. The DJ played fun music and the limited staff that I interacted with were very nice. There’s also a small arcade. I’ll def come back to visit this summer.
This place is trash and the managers are extremely rude and lazy. Party started at 2:45pm there was a long line of customers outside waiting in the heat and instead of opening another window to get guest checked in, the managers are guarding the exit door throwing their weight around.I am a senior manager at a multi million dollar location and one thing for sure my guest come first!!! I will never not jump in to help get lines down or make sure my guest are accommodated.In addition to the Party host is no where to be found!!!For this reason I will never return!What did we pay for exactly?
Started out fun, 30 minutes in the ring ref with the dreds and referee shirt threw us off the skating floor. We havent skated in 30 years. My friend fell and i stopped to help her and he told us we had to get off the floor for the rest of the day. $100 spent for absolutely nothing. I do NOT recommend this rink for anyone who is just beginning.
DO NOT BOOK BIRTHDAY PARTIES HERE.You’ve been warned. Warnings I brushed off thinking there’s no way an establishment can get something so simple, wrong. They most definitely passed with flying colors on having the worst customer service.I made contact with 3 people on separate days to make sure the day would turn out as planned. I asked all the right questions so I would have all my ducks in a row for my daughters 4th birthday. Come day of, we had to wait in a ridiculously long line to get in despite being told we could get on 15 mins early to set up our rented TIMED table. Imagine waiting in a very small room crammed shoulder to shoulder with people WHILE HOLDING ALL YOUR PARTY BOXES with party guests. Boy did they make me look super unorganized.We get to the cash box and that interaction was hectic and unorganized. We finally get in at 7.. 30 mins lost. Frantically set up table so we can try to get party started. Then I have guests waiting on line for at least 30 mins to get in. They didn’t get in until 7:30. So much time lost and they were so frustrated. I feel since we are a party who rented a timed table and we have our signed waivers at hand that maybe management could intervene to properly handle the situation. After all, we have a timed table and no need to wait in line for people to fill theirs out at the box when they can just go to the register since it’s already filled out.This is when I have the fine interaction with purple hair, don’t care (manager Kerry or Terry or at least that’s what the cop said) . I explained to her just that and she said there was nothing she could do because all people had to go through the same line. Why should I expect differently. Of course the sass on this one was a telling sign of the incompetence I was about to experience. I walk off and try to cool down.I go and try to help the kids put their skates and use the walker thing to help them skate. I am denied walkers because YOU CANT USE WALKERS ON SATURDAY EVENING. Imagine that… a 4 year old party was scheduled on a night they could not use the very thing to help them skate. Oh, I most definitely asked ahead of booking if they had those for obvious reasons and was told yes we can use at party.It doesn’t stop there. While I waited in line for drinks, purple hair crayola was talking badly about me to pregnant green hair crayola right in front of my face. I obviously spoke up and you can only guess the interaction between us. I told her how unprofessional she was for being a manager. Her response, “I’m not the manager right now. I’m off the clock.”If you read this far just know, if you’re looking for a place to skate, it’s good for skating. That’s it. I can’t guarantee you’ll be safe, receive decent treatment, be well informed, or treated as a customer though. It’s filthy but I will say it’s fun looking. Place has potential if the owners would run it correctly and sweep house.Shout out to the DJ though. She was concerned about our experience and tried to help. Don’t sweep her out.
I attend many roller skating rinks all over the country. This one had a rough floor in places but what I did not like is how dirty the floor is. I literally had to get off the floor to clean my wheels. The people there appear to know each other and they all get along well. There is a good mix of all cultures there as well. It is not a rink I would go back to unless I had no other option. It just did not have a clean floor to skate on.
I originally emailed them through their website, but failed to get any response. So today after months of no response I called them to ask a simple question of whether they could turn off the flashing lights for an hour or two to accommodate my girlfriend with epilepsy. I was told “No. that’s a part of the experience, and we’re not just gonna turn off the lights for you guys.” I was then told if I booked a private party that it could possibly be arranged, but that was part of my original question anyway. I have to say this was a place where I made a lot of good memories, but if making money is more important than making people happy I’ll make new memories somewhere else. Sad.
I am seething after the thoroughly miserable experience we had at Fun City Skate. Their management has formulated a most ludicrous set of rules that marred our planned birthday party and spoiled our day. The establishment opens at 1pm on Saturdays, a policy they enforce with a level of rigidity that borders on the fanatical. Not a minute’s grace was given to us for setting up the party in advance, demonstratingu their complete lack of customer empathy.However, what takes the cake for utter absurdity is the obligatory QR code scanning for all parents. It doesn’t matter if you’re not planning to skate - they demand your code. This bizarre requirement, paired with their entrance manned like some maximum-security installation, led to a staggeringly long, single-file line of over 40 individuals all struggling to complete their waivers and get in.The delay caused by this nonsensical procedure held up our guests for over 20 minutes, preventing them from joining the party on time and leaving them irate and frustrated - a pitiful start to a celebration.I’ve hosted many birthday parties at numerous venues for my three children, aged 7-12, and never before have we been subjected to such a pathetic and appalling experience. We won’t be repeating the mistake of hosting a party here, and I personally have sworn never to set foot in this establishment again. My stern advice to anyone considering a visit to Fun City Skate: beware and explore other options. This place is an affront to the concept of ‘fun’.The only positive was our hostess, Taleah. She was the polar opposite of the front staff and management – warm, welcoming, and accommodating. She stood out as a sorely needed relief amidst the chaos, her professionalism a stark contrast to the grossly inadequate front staff and management.
Absolutely unacceptable. We came on a Sunday and the scedule stated that it opens at 2. We came exactly at 2 and waited for a 1 hour. It was 3 when we left, and not one employee was in the parking lot or came.
Brought my little boy here last night and the staff was so kind to him, he’s 8 and a beginner. I thought I would come today to see if we would experience the same hospitality and sure enough WE DID.. the evening staff and afternoon staff were great and helpful. My grandson loves this place and want to visit again
We came to skate, but turned out they are closed Monday, Wednesday, and Thursdays for private events. Despite us calling and searching their website for actual hours of operation. In case anyone else needs them we found the following on their door. Would have been better to know before hand and not waste gas and let my daughter down.
Not sure if I’d recommend throwing a birthday party here. The party host was as attentive as she could be since she was hosting all 6 parties, while cooking all of the pizzas. All of the other concession workers were standing around on their phones. My guest complained that they were waiting in line for 30 minutes, just for a hot dog. The bathrooms were closed down, so you had to use porta potties, which is a huge inconvenience to those who have babies or toddlers in diapers. I really wish they would have mentioned this before we showed up for our party.
I would give this place a 1 star. I’ve had many of my kids bdays there but this one was different. I do not see the same staff anymore. Everything is a bit different as far as staff. Everyone is rude and shows no respect. The staff that skate and watch the floor constantly yell at the children and even parents. There is no understating that kids are leaning against the wall for help to skate and take their time getting off the floor. They yell instead of asking does the child need help or even just asking in a polite way to remove themselves from the wall. The staff get rude and a lady had no care after I spoke with her about a table I reserved. Majority of the staff that worked the floor and the front door were very ugly & unprofessional. She walked away from me as I was talking. I felt it was a bit on the racist side. I was even asked to hand over my keys or ID for kids skates but the lady walks out with 4 pairs for a family and didn’t ask them for any collateral. Sometimes you don’t know if the person is even apart of staff or not. There is no uniform specifically for the staff so you wonder who to ask questions to. The place has a cool arcade and great music. It’s the staff that makes the place seem bad. The only nice person that actually had kindness in her heart was an older white lady that took my admission fee at the front. She had curly blonde hair. If you need help or questions, go to her!
Its a small place but the staff were friendly when I had my daughters birthday party there.
The skating was fine, but I waited in line to get food for over 30 minutes, then they stopped serving food at 11:30 when people were still in line trying to get food, and I ordered and payed for a slice of pizza and they never gave it to me. Also once I ordered it took forever to get my food, and the workers were very slow. The gift shop was nice, and the arcade was ok.
Came on here to leave a review about another great experience I had here today and saw a review from the woman below me Drea K. Just wanted to say I witnessed what happened and the way she describes it, is far from what actually happened. The manager was escorting the birthday girl out to get her skates. As this is happening the woman below Drea K. was attempting to skip the line and enter the building THROUGH THE EXIT DOOR. If she cares so much about customers why would she try to skip everyone else and go in through a door that clearly says “DO NOT ENTER” like she’s special. Yes it’s a hot summer but from what I saw, every employee was working their butts off taking care of everyone. Sometimes “opening another window” isn’t an option. You never know what’s going on. Maybe they didn’t have enough employees to have someone open another window. I’m always here and have never had a bad experience. And none of my friends have either! Also, I heard this woman say she was only dropping something off to her daughter. So what exactly did you pay for? Because here you don’t have to pay if you aren’t skating on regular skate days. Sooooo. ANYWAYS, love this place take your family and friends!
Had a great time at Funcity last night employees were so nice food was great no idea they had a bar but that made it even more great for the adults. Will definitely be coming back here often. Thanks Jada for helping me with looking at getting my own skates.
My daughter had a great time for her birthday, but as a parent it was not pleasant. I had to chase down the hostess for our reserved party 3 times, and at one time waited 40 minutes for her in order to pay and leave on time. The tip was included in the party package, but the hostess requested another tip when paying. Most of what I paid for was not received until we were supposed to leave and no staff were able to help at the prize booth because of how overbooked they were. It is a fun place for kids and teens to go for an afternoon, but I would not recommend a birthday party.
This is a one time and rare occasion that I will share a review with a recent visit to this very rude unprofessional and lack of ownership with a few employees.Concession counter to the front register and the manager named Cara or Kara was emotionally struck with my concerns and got in my face yelling and telling me she couldnt help me! Short Color hair is the only description I got because she would not give out her last name. My daughter and her party of 10 never saw anything thank goodness.I hope reviews such as this helps address these matters and correct them moving foward.Final bill $320 that never got an honest conversation nor apology from anyone.
So upset today I came with my kids around 4:40pm or 5:00pm the lady upfront didnt said nothing on the after hours pay. I came in skated for about 30 minutes before they closed down, then I had a male staff member who came by my table super rude slap down the table with his hand and said maam if you want to stay you need to go pay extra upfront I though I had pay after I pay $35.00 for 3 people which we brought our own skates and only sakted for 30 minutes to 1 hr. I came upfront asking about it they had new employees so there was no answers. Then the lady who checked us in at the beginning said well thats why i said we close at 6pm before yall came in and you have to pay $5 extra per person if you want to stay in a rude tone i didnt wanted to get into an argument i understand their rules. I also was trying to fill their waiver didnt hear her saying that either. It is upsetting and the way the handle things without giving me a chance to explain the situation just got shut down I am adult heres no reason to be rude i was just confused and wanted answers but the way the handle things and the rudnes just keeps costumers away since I came with a positive perspective. So decide to just go away and not deal with their negative attitude.
First and last time. Spent most of the night waiting for good music (late 80s was being played most of the time) and then lights come on at 12.20 telling everyone to get out or pay 20$ more because of some event that was going to happen that no one was Informed of at any point. Bad management fr they knew they were gonna finesse everyone

Brought my nephew to skate for the first time ever and we had so much fun. I have never been here before and it was awesome!! All the employees were great and really helped motivate him to keep getting up and keep going. The inside was nice and the food wasnt bad. Much better than you would think from looking at the outside of the place. I will be going back for sure

Ladies were so rude. We had a birthday party here and no communication or any acknowledgment. I will never have a party here again. And neither should anyone else. To much money for here and such terrible service.
Went on a Saturday for Adult night. The DJ was horrible. Music is everything when skating. The music didn’t have a smooth transition. The DJ would just flat out stop a song, flip through songs until he found a song he wanted to play. The staff kept talking over the loudspeaker for other staff members. Overall experience sucked! I left after an hour of being there. I will not be returning unless they get a DJ who know what they are doing. The best advice I could give the rink is hire a better DJ.
The facility is colorful and the rink is a good size. The snack bar is lacking...... they dont have enough staff to fill orders in a timely manner. We were there on a Saturday at 2pm for a Birthday Party and they didnt have anyone in the snack bar making any food for 30 minutes, (at 3pm). We waited over 30 minutes for a warm weiner, cold hot dog bun, a small bag of fritos with a little chili on top and no cheese on it. They do NOT have any relish for the hot dogs, no cheese for the chili, no onions for the hot dog and frito pie. The large drink is the size of a small-medium at most places. It was ridiculous to say the least. They only have 1 young girl working the snack bar as cook, and shes slow as molasses and doesnt multi task well at All. One large party had ordered 12 pizzas, and it took over 1 hour to get those out, in groups of 3-4.They do not have staff hosts/ party servers to help so the parents have to do all the hosting/serving, which takes away from enjoying mingling with the guests.They have a bar there that serves alcoholic beverages, but you have to stay in the bar area and cant carry your drink out to the rest of the building or party tables.The skates are old and the one I used needed oiling at the wheels because they were stiff and didnt roll smoothly or easily.I couldnt really understand the announcer, the voice was not clear.I DO NOT RECOMMEND HAVING A BIRTHDAY PARTY HERE, the food sucks!!! The service sucks!!! The snack bar is expensive and seriously lacking!!
Over priced and was not informed that the skate assist were not available for the young ones learning. Then staff was rude telling the children they could hold onto the walls. Would not have paid to come in if wed have known the skate assist were not available. Definitely wholl not be back
I went to this place for the second time for the adult only skating after 10 pm. The establishment makes sure that everyone is safe by having a cop on the premises. The staff and bartenders are all super nice. It is a great place to go for something different to do.
Food was delicious! $28.00 to skate, kinda expensive but being home for a year and more I didn’t care about spending the money. Kids wanted to have fun! They also have a bar in which was something I enjoyed. Music was on point too!!! Not too crowded for a Friday. Will be back….
This place has REALLY gone downhill. Pizza took 40 minutes to heat up, staff gave us grief for bringing in gluten free food for a child with celiac (we had called and confirmed that we could bring special food for her beforehand since she can’t eat anything funcity serves) and food staff didn’t have our entire order ready when the buzzer went off so our food got cold waiting for drinks. Please don’t allow so many people in to skate if you’re unable to accommodate. I urge everyone to take their business elsewhere.
Great skating and food service. Prize check out was ridiculous. There needs to be at minimum 2 people running check in if they are going to be in charge of the prize counter as well. We waited a half hour before leaving without service.
Nice atmosphere and music and prices. However, the staff are clearly not trained for injuries. I understand accidents happen at places like this; however, that means staff need to be adequately trained in first aid and it’s obvious that’s not the case here. As an assistant director at a childcare center who has undergone first aid training the response time to my daughter hitting her head and receiving an ice pack from management was unacceptable and a joke. Also, the skate guards/referees are only concerned about people standing on the wall and not enforcing rules with those that are going entirely too fast and bumping into people especially when young children are around. Again impressed with the facility but very disappointed by the lack of training and responsiveness of staff to incidents such as these. Thank God there was a nurse there with her child to help us.
Staff is very nice and friendly. I love the songs! Saw a review saying they’re outdated songs but they actually play a good mix of new and nostalgic songs. So much fun!! Highly recommend
This place should be deemed as a Historical place I have not been in here for a very long time but its still here providing a safe fun environment for people of all ages. Dont be discouraged by the outside as it looks a little tired and worn, I believe the owners knew exactly what they were doing putting all the funds into the inside. I absolutely love the bright neon colors under the blacklight and Im a kid at heart and was impressed that I could feel the music while we waited in line to get in, if its good music it can never be too loud for me.I didnt interact with any other staff besides the girl at the front but I can say she was friendly and helpful.Im glad I came, I will be back often and if your looking for a good time then Id encourage you to not waste the weekend thinking about it just get in the car and go. I went during the 630-9pm session and didnt really enjoy it. Teens were wild and out of control on the rink, skating as fast as possible and in any direction , colliding with and knocking over other skaters. Rink guards were nowhere in sight. Ill give 3 stars because its overall a pretty decent spot and Im seeing lots of good reviews about the adult only session from 10pm-2am. I may return to give that a try.

The flyer is extremely misleading. We went in hopes to skate to 80s music & zero 80s music was played in the 2 hours I was there even after several groups requested it from the DJ & the Dj agreed to playing it. Super upsetting. There was a group of ladies dressed in 80s attire so I especially felt bad for them. Also my strawberry margarita tasted like a slushy & although it was good, I’m pretty positive there was zero alcohol.
If I could rate it zero stars I would. Went there for my nieces birthday party and was utterly disappointed at the location, the staff and the amenities that was available to us. Their lack if preparedness and quality was way below acceptable. Immediately as we entered there was a no soda only powerade and pink lemonade available the hot dogs were served with sandwich bread, 10 minutes upon ordering my fiance and I were both called to the counter to inform us that they ran out of wings. After they took our money. After an awkward silence my fiance asked if we were going to get our money back. In which case I feel if she did not ask, we wouldnt be offered our money back. At the end of the day I understand this isnt a 5 star restaurant or attraction but this is a business one that is suppose to cater to the consumers. And they have failed. I and the entire party will not be coming back.
Absolutely worse place to book a party! First upon arrival they asked us to wait inside cool no problems! They party after party was set down before us we are now 30 min past our scheduled party. Finally they take us to where we are sitting. Then they disappear About 20 min later they ask us what we want to eat, when the food came out they brought us 2 pizzas for all my guest which wasn’t enough ordered a new one had to wait 45 min for it, ran out of drinks ordered some more another 30 min with no drinks finally my wife had to go get them herself! This place is disorganized and seriously lacks customer service sad thing is we use to come here about five years ago before we moved. After we moved back to the area this was the first place I wanted to book a party for my daughters birthday. Biggest mistake ever completely dissatisfied and disappointed
First time here and not sure if Id return. I spent 15 to 20 minutes in line because the lady did not know what she was doing. It took her another 10 minutes just for her to ring me up correctly and after 1 Burger with cheese, fries, 3 drinks and one water I spent nearly $30 then my kids wanted refills but didnt want to wait in line because they were taking forever. My 2 year old was eating his fries and drinking his drink when one of the workers starts picking up all the food from the other tables. He did not pick up my food or drinks because I was clearly sitting there with my 2 year old. My 2 year old then took off to try and skate with his sister and as soon as I get up to grab my 2 year old when I come back to my table, not even 2 minutes later and my table is completely cleared of all my food and my kids drinks. It would not have been a big deal if it was $1 or $1.50 for a drink but $3.25!!!! My kids are slow drinkers and my sons juice was full to the top. Best belive I was livid. Then I tell a worker and all I get is well there is a sign that says all un attended food will be thrown away he did give me a new juice for the baby but still isnt right, youre already over charging ppl for food. Im just glad they didnt take my phone and my purse that was clearly there because I got up for a minute to walk to baby over to the rink less than 5 ft away. Then as Im leaving and turning in my sons skates so they can give me my keys back, I hear the boy telling the manager (purple hair lady) and she is loudly talking mess about the situation to where I could hear what she is saying because I made a complaint about the boy throwing my stuff away as soon as I got up from my table.. Thats not very professional on her part.
I keep changing my review everytime i go there 😂... Ok so great skating rink if you find those days where it is not that busy. But definitely DONT GO ON A WEEK. Way too much people it is getting dangerous.They have referees. Some do their job and some dont care at all... Kids going in the opposite direction of traffic, people who seem to know what they are doing except slowing down apparently... They should have a limit on the number of people in there (or if they do, bring it down a bit)...Also, people go on the rink with outside shoes on...

Place is fun with huge skate area. Nice bounce area for younger kids, there is a height requirement. However, every time I go the place is quite dirty. They need to keep it more clean, bathrooms need remodeling and so does the arcade area. Most games are pretty outdated and some are always out of order. I wish the owners would check the reviews and look into doing some updates on the place. Its the only one close to my area, but I would definitely go more often if it was more clean and updated.
The DJ on their adult night last time was terrible, the way he played. The music seem like a drag on forever. I hope the musics better this time., more current, and don’t make it where the song drags out forever actually play some new and exciting stuff

Good. Liked the skating and was there for a birthday party. The food wait was long. I could barley hear the DJ bc the microphone was muffled a tad bit. Overall good to go every weekend but wouldnt recommend for birthdays. Thats why I have it 4/5
We go once a month to this rink. They have video games, prize counter, merchandise, bar, and the food is great. I like the fried pickles, wings, and pizza. Ice water is 50cents and there is a vending machine for snacks. They play red light green light, limbo, and a dice roll game. The staff is always pleasant and caring of the kids. Weve been to a lot of rinks and this one is #1.
I love the place and you dont spend alot on drink and the skating is fun too, but why i took off two stars is because when they do song suggestions i put down a good song to play as it was not 18+ for the littles and wasnt to childish for the older kids skating but they skipped my request and plays bum songs that my kids didnt enjoy and it caused my daughter to go and ask about it and they said that they arent taking any requests anymore. i asked they dj saying that i already put the song down as a request he continued to talk to a co worker and i was extremely disrespected concidering i was trying to ask about the request. we left immediately as my whole family was very upset why what happened. do not recommend.
Horrible Party Experience. Staff was rude. Were sat 20 min after our party should have began and was expected to leave on time shortening our party time. Was constantly being rushed to leave while trying to gather our party stuff together and get our shoe rentals returned. It was all around bad. Will never return to this place again.
Ok so be patient with the credit card machine lol but we went there tonight and had a great time, it was really clean, floor was controlled well.Mask policy not really enforced too much but most people wore them. I forget if kids under a certain age dont have to wear them as we always do. That maybe the reason. Anyways, we will be back.
It was clean and the food was decent but we paid for a 2 hour party and weren’t able to get to our table until 30 mins later because they let another party go until right at the time our party started. We were also told we would be able to stay afterwards but we had to switch to the non party section only to be told we would have to pay extra to stay. I doubt we’ll be coming back.
Very expensive they charge 3.50 for a 20oz Fountain drink and dont let you get refills. They play weird music Ive never herd. The only friendly person was the girl at the front desk.
This is a racist rink. Well then manager that was on duty that night. The floor guards only target black skaters to certain rules they wanted to apply. When brought to the manager attention not the owner they wouldn’t let you get a word in edgewise. She kept talking over when I was trying to explain what was going on. She was very rude and kept cutting me off I have been patronizing this rink for years and this one manger really went out of her way to be disrespectful, short, and condescending with me. It was not warranted at all.
Well maintained skating rink. Helpful friendly employees. I swung by so my son could skate for about 30 minutes before close and the man at the counter was nice enough to make sure we knew we were walking in right before close. I appreciated that. Its clean and they take good care of their equipment. We will definitely be back.
Warning! FunCitySk8 wants your money! Yeah, $10 for a Saturday night session, 6:30-9, that includes All-U-Can-Eat pizza (but only until 8pm). Parents can watch for free on every session EXCEPT the Saturday 6:30-9pm session (pizza night) then they are REQUIRED to buy the AUCE pizza for an additional $5. Skate rentals $4. Oh, and no drink is included with pizza, that you have to buy. $3.50 more. Even a small cup of water costs $.50. Not allowed to even bring your own water bottle or EMPTY cup inside. Ive been coming here for 30+ years, and lately Ive been incredibly disappointed by the greed. Im all for paying a reasonable price for things, but if you charge for included food, you should also provide a beverage. There are too many other enertainment options available, think Ill try Pearwood skate next time. Maybe theyll be a little less greedy. Skating here is almost the same price as a movie now. 🤷P.S. No paper towels in girls restroom either.
We had fun but the facility is to small for all the ppl that come in. They charge a dollar for tap water. And you can’t use a card because they have a $5 dollar minimum. And the assistant manager was a kid maybe 17 and the older woman were working so hard. Other than that we tried our best keep our seats from getting taken.
This is a nice rink! The people that run it r very nice. I went in last night and a guy running the place was so excited to show me his bar. He was telling me you can come in here and drink, and I said with disbelief and couldn’t believe they put a bar in Skating rink. I told him I don’t drink and walked away. I hate to see drinking in a skating rink. That should be a safe haven and not to worry about drunks. Went to the parking lot after I got through skating and two men were standing by my vehicle look like they were up to no good. Yes I was scared,I put my skates on the passenger side and they chose to still stand by my vehicle, I thought surely they would move on after they saw me put my skates on the passenger side. Those men were standing at the back of my vehicle by now. I was praying that God would protect me and those guys wouldn’t hit me in the head when I went to open my driver door and had my back to them. I didn’t know what to do but get in the car and leave. I am from out of town visiting my daughter here, and have been to that skating rink before and thought very nicely of it. So having said this I won’t be returning when I visit. Stay safe skaters. After all don’t drink and drive, don’t drank and roll.
10/29/23 I was very pleased with this place even though I was late to the party. I will be back in the summer for my son birthday party.
We booked to have my daughters 8th birthday here and lets just say it will be our last time coming back. We booked the $160.00 package because it seemed like a good deal. Our host for the party literally did nothing except bring the pizza and drinks to the table she was constantly rushing us and giving us dirty looks the whole time my wife was cutting my daughters cake and the so called host was standing there looking at her with a look of disgust on her face my aunt even has a picture of it. When they brought out our 2 pitchers of soda that is included with the package the kids did not like the sprite because it tasted flat so the host charged us 6 dollars for another pitcher which is pretty pathetic we asked numerous times for a few trash bags so we could throw trash from presents away but we never got any and the trash can at our table stayed over flowing the entire time. Then when it was time to pay this place added gratuity onto the bill automatically which is pathetic seeing how the service was horrible. The lady in charge said well it goes to the cook and host. I didnt want a penny of my money going to the host and as far as Im concerned the pizza is part of the price of the package so all in all our $160.00 package turned into around $230.00. My daughter still had a good day but as a parent I was highly disappointed and will take my business elsewhere.
Nice place. It used to be byob which I enjoyed. I’ve came Saturday night for adult skate and they now have a “full bar”. We asked the bartender for a Bahama Mama and a Mexican candy. She had no idea what either were. Then she stated that “we’re not at a fancy bar”. That comment was unnecessary. She could have asked the ingredients or simply googled them. I did call prior so coming and the lady over the phone explained that they have a “full bar.” Shots and cocktails usually come with full bars.
Had my daughters birthday here and it was fun but our host kept leaving when I needed her... 😣 Overall the Staff is not helpful here but otherwise the venue (skating) is fun.

Fun place to spend lots of hours. The rink is smooth and the music is classic rink music. The skates were a little worn out but they worked fine. The overall price was awesome and I highly recommend it. Laser tag was available. They took my order and after I paid told me they didnt have the item and offered me a refund right away. Instead I asked for anything else on the menu and they gave me more value then what I payed for! I will be going back.
This is one of my favorite rinks. They run a lot of good specials and still do the kidsskatefree passes. Rink is pretty smooth, they just got new rental skates and the DJ keeps the music pretty decent. Not too many punks running around and the lighting isnt too harsh. We go here 3-5 X per month.Our Main Rink.
Blonde chubby girl was extremely rude last night. she tried to make us wait for our shoes while she trained new girl. she was extremely rude to her as well. why are you yelling? this is suppose to be a fun place. the restrooms were disgusting and the music was disappointing. the staff when you walk in were extremely friendly and helpful.
First time coming out to adult night. I loved it! The rink is big with tape separations for jamming and for beginners. There was a drink bar. And all of the staff were extremely welcoming!
For the most part it’s a very nice skating rink. They are very clean. The ONLY down side is that the same songs are played over and over again. But over all very nice to come and hang out!
They dont have skate mates available after 6 pm so its not very beginner friendly.. Basically, dont bring your young children or toddlers here if theyre just learning to skate🙄
Great for kids. If it werent for equipment neglect and carelessness, this place would earn 5 or more stars. I give them 5, because the kids love it, and Im hopeful theyll someday earn the 5 star rating.
Best rink in South Houston suburbs! Floor is great, the staff is mostly friendly, wide variety of music. My only reason for not giving 5 stars is because they play the music way to loud. You cannot hear a person next to you talk without raising your voice.
Funcity Sk8 is a great spot as there arent many rinks and this is conveniently located. They have food and an eating area. Its cool spot to host kids parties. Also, staff is always friendly.
Called at the last minute with a group of 110 students...Needless to say...we were taken care of 100%!!!!😀The kids absolutely loved everything about the rink!Staff was amazing and very accommodating...Everything we asked for was provided!We couldnt have asked for a better facility....a better time...or a better staff to work with!!!!😊We will be back soon!Robin you and your staff rock!✌👌👍
Workers are good with the children, and place is clean. Owner is pleasant, and helped me choose a good and reasonably priced pair of skates that are comfortable on my older feet. I am working up to attending the adult night skates!
Great floor and classic roller rink music. We made the trip on a Tuesday as it was the only rink in the city open and we were very pleasantly surprised! They have a middle area for jamming. My heart was forever taken when I noticed the mural on the back wall had Frank Zappa on it! Very affordable. Ill be back.
We have been visiting this location because of the Kids Skate Free program (a great summer fun, for cheap). Unfortunately, the place gets very crowded and my family no longer enjoys skating with that many people. Every time we have gone, there has been at least 2-3 daycares or private events there. The facility is not very clean but overall great for the price.
Love this place! The floor is superb! Lots of black light so wear your neon. You can rent or purchase skates. The food is great! Great for adult byob old skool parties on Saturday nights also.
DJ needs a little bit more diversity music wise, requested music and never played it, he was ask why and response was very rude & said he was going to play it in the last 12 mins but never did. The floor was clean & good great place to skate only bad thing about this location is the Dj, music allows you to skate with rhythm but unfortunately that wasn’t possible SATURDAY NIGHT during adult night.
DO NOT COME HERE! Masks were not being enforced, terrible customer service. None of the workers wearing masks and did not care. With covid cases as high as they are right now Covid is going to spread like wild fire here! Find a safer place to take your family, it is not worth the risk.

I was really disappointed to know that after waiting in line for 20 minutes in line for skate I was not able to get an assistant support. You have to walk to front and pay $5. Then wait in line again for another 20 minutes. Makes no sense. Funcity, be smarter than this please.
Best place ever went there 1 week ago hung out with my family and friend and it was a blast! The staff were so nice and the service was great.
All employees were not wearing mask even though at their door it say mask required. Many people were without mask. That’s my only complaint, otherwise it could have been more enjoyable.
Very nice rink! They have a beautiful skating floor and great music. We will definitely be returning next time we are in the area!
The worst customer service experience EVER!. Where should I begin? When I requested that my daughters birthday cake put placed in the refrigerator because it appears that the temperature of the skating rink maybe too warm for the cake, I was argued down by the snack manager. The thermostat reads 69 degrees its not hot in here, says the snack manager. WTH! Then when she brings the 2 pizzas I ordered, she puts them clearly on a table that I was not sitting at, then she hands them to me while they were hot, and then after a while when our reservation was over, one of the staff members comes over and starts to pull up the table cloth with all of our belongings on top. I had to tell her to hold on a second. Rudest place ever. I will never ever ever return. They can forget about my money.
Great place for kids and parents to have fun. The people who opperate this comapany seem to embody all that is great about small business owners in America. I encourage you to get out and have some fun with your family and support a local business :)
Friendly staff and fun place. I love the beginner skate side is seperate and not just anybody can get in. The pizza was great too, not tiny little slices. I highly recommend this place.
Staff very rude and non personable. Woman with blue hair and glasses at the front had an attitude. Owners walking around yelling. Just overall not a good experience. Will not return
We take our daughter skating atleast once a week and we really like it here EXCEPT the music. A good portion of the music is very heavy rap. Not swearing but just obnoxious hard blabbing with no real music behind it. I dont understand why they would play one of these songs at a skate rink where its supposed to be fun and upbeat and in a place full of very small children. Obviously the kids at the DJ booth have free reign and play what they want and dont consider the whole concept.Pearwood is smaller, further away and is usually more crowded (mostly with birthday parties) but we have been going there more and more mainly because the atmosphere (music) is so much better and fun.I would much rather go here but, after several of these songs we are all ready to go.We wouldnt mind some rap mixed in but play something fun. Maybe something 4-8 year olds would enjoy (your audience) possibly mighthave heard?? This heavy (Im sorry i dont know how to describe properly what this junk is. Just a man blabbing on and on loud and heavy with no real music. No beat, no rhythm just on and on) I would say the last few times we went this junk accounted for almost 1/4 of the music played as an estimate.Sure Im old but I remember being a kid the the rinks were all pop songs fun dance type stuff.
Lorenzo working the skates is literally the best employee!!! We really wanted inline skates and they were out so he came and found us when someone returned our size! So thoughtful and friendly!
I love that they turn into an adults only club like place after hours, super fun. Though I wish they offered laser tag at night. Drinks plus laser tag sounds like a good time to me.
THEY LOST MY SHOES!!!Everything else was good,the games like red light green light the guy said go and when he said red light he told them to go.I asked for my shoes after I was done and THEY COULDNT FIND THEM my dad came to see what was going on and COULDNT FINE HIS TOO!!!So the guy went to another guy and the when my dad looked and THEY WERE LOOKING AT THE SHOES THE WHOLE TIME!!!And so I told him to find mine and didn’t so I got mad and told him THERE THEY ARE WHEN I LOOKED THEY WERE THERE AND ACTED DUMB.DONT COME HERE WITH EXPENSIVE SHOES!!!(btw they were grey 270s with a blue back!!)

Good place to have fun love the lights although there was a kid that broke their leg and wasted most the time the staff handle the situation good. I had fun and loved the food.
Old school - family style skating rink. Theyve done some updates since I was last here. Recarpeted and fixed the floor a bit. Back area now has large bouncy slides for the kiddos. Arcade area is small but fills the urge for my 6 yr old.Nice people and friendly service.
Not really a skating kind of person but went because my girlfriend wanted to give it a try. She loved it, i loved it. Would definitely go back again. We went saturday night (which is byob night). Didnt try the food or little games there but overall ill be back no doubt about that.
The place is a little run down but we got 4 skate admits and a pizza from groupon for cheap so we overlooked a lot of things. The skate area is about the normal size of a regular indoor floor rink. They have a small game area behind the kitchen. However, there were a few things that a person simply couldnt ignore. The tables and booths were absolutely filthy. We sat in the least filthiest booths and that one had streaks of who knows what on the table top, sticky seats and gloop on the floor. The adult skates stank. At least they could spray them with disinfectant spray in attempt to hide the odor. The employees were a bit broody. Overall it was an ehh experience.
Horrible experience with a Birthday party this month ...and the staff really could use some adult supervision! *they were all very rude teens*They really had no interest in customer service or how to handle escalated situations.We Will not be returning.
There is no diversity in music at all, or they play one diverse song and then 15 other songs, and not very nice about certain things. The air hockey game stop working and i asked the women at the front told me to ask the guy in the dj booth i went to tell him and he acted as he had an attitude about helping me, he comes over to the air hockey table and said it’s on i said i know but the piece is stuck, so as we’re standing there it comes out and we let him know he just proceeds to just walk off. They have a jumper that is just wide open no one standing there to collect the moneys to enter, my nephew proceeds to enter unaware of the fee an employee comes over and lets him know he can’t be over here because there is a fee, i proceed to ask where to pay and he tells me you pay at the front i said okay and as I’m turning around he tells me oh he can’t play here there is a height restriction i said sir I’m sorry but he’s only 10, he tells me no he still can’t play on this. If there was a problem with him playing on it the first thing that should have been said was it’s a height requirement not that it cost. Worst expierience here, wouldn’t recommend to anyone.
Nice place. Good skate floor. Play area for the little ones is awesome. Really nice that the staff inforces safety rules on the skate floor. They also make everyone stop if someone gets hurt until that person is removed from the floor.
Fun skate place for kids. A little crowded but kids love it. The price is great and they have specials. The food it totally tolerable and better than expected for that type of food. Fun arcade too!
This is the best place ever Ive been going here since I was 1 and Its been almost 14 years of going here. Its the only place I can go to after school and I love it please dont close down.
Absolutely LOVE Mr. Charlie!! He helped change my daughter wheels and barrings and then gave pointers on my other daughter skate. He earned our respect and love for LIFE!!!
Front door lady was cool, but the rest was garbageHorrifically over priced, water was not free, took 30 min for fries, customer service at the food counter was garbage, one dude just standing around while the other worksNever coming back, go to another skating rink
We had our sons 12th Birthday party there along with two of his friends and they all had a blast. It was private and just our family and friends. And the staff was very friendly.
Website had the wrong business hours so we got there 3 hours before it opened. You have to pay $20 cash only deposit to get toddler skates. The place is fun but both of those facts were frustrating.
It would have been better had they not closed 30 min after we got there. They could have stayed open til at least 9p. Wasted time & $ money. Will NOT b returning there!
Paid $15 just to skate, food was overpriced (not surprised) and the man giving out skates at the back was so musty that it stunk up the whole back area.. Also you have to insert a quarter to have a locker, and every time you open it it takes your quarter and you have to insert another to get the key back and use it again. Me and my boyfriend made the best of it though. Oh and also games in the arcade were expensive and sh***y
Owners Lance & Shawn were very friendly & professional from the entrance...in addition to Jamie being informative & helpful...establishment is very kept,clean,well-light & offers great food,as well as adult beverages.Great environment for family gatherings & weekend fun-
I ordered my skates through fun city... waited a week skates still not in..... so I waited another... still not in.... so about 2 weeks later I show up too skate and ask about my skates.... Oh they came in we sold them too someone else (after I already paid them for them). That was last year. This year my stopper ripped off so I ordered a new set, paid for them. Asked 3 times if they where going too call me when they came in... Yes we will 3 times! Its been 2 and a half months no call... 😠
Best place to go, I used to come here as a kid now I’m bringing my little cousins to skate every week. Will be breaking in my new skates this Tuesday
Fun place to spend the night with my little girl. Came here on Friday night around 7 pm, place was not really crowded.Thanks to a friend that recommended this place.

Love the energy in this place and the food is good. The kids enjoy being here. The walkers are available during the day time.
Great rice for entrance fee and skate rental. Skating surface was smooth. The skates were much more comfortable to skate in. BYOB on Saturday nights for adults is awesome. DJ plays good skate music.
My granddaughters have been regulars at FunCity Sk8 for several years now. They are 14 and 16. It is clean but most of all safe. There is security!
The people here are always happy to help and very attentive. Nice clean fun and they create lots of fun skating games for the kids. The food is always fresh and delicious.
Website has been updated with the proper schedule from what I can see. Tuesday nights are SUPER busy so if you want some room to actually skate, just dont go on Tuesday lol
My first time going to Funcity last night. Loved loved the rink! But y’all really need a better DJ for Adult nights.

Its pretty decent. A little old for my taste. Arcade is really small. There is moonwalks for little kids. The skate area is really big.
Lot of fun. Plenty of fun. They have 2 big jumping houses that even little kids can play on. Many picnics tables. Good simple food.

I had a good experience except all the teens with their phones on the floor. Stopping to take pictures and not looking where theyre going is a hazard and the monitors didnt do anything about it.

Its a great place for the kids to skate. They can skate all day, theres a nice concession area and games. Were taking our daughter for skating lessons & she loves it.

Ordered a funnel cake. It was still partially frozen but had a old burn piece in it... Kids had fun but the teenagers working there need better supervision.
I loved the fact that this rink has a time where adults can enjoy skating with a great atmosphere without children being allowed. Adult ONLY time is always great for a refresher sometimes!!!

Nice roller rink. Floor guards should keep skaters more organized on the floor. Too many opportunities for serious accidents for such a small rink floor, especially for the little ones.
This was our 1st time coming here & the kiddos absolutely enjoyed it.. They had a blast skating! We for sure will come again..
