Wow Just Wow! I would have given 10 stars if I could! I am a 60+ year old cyclist/amateur triathlete who had THE best massage on my life from massage therapist Joy! After a 45 mile ride in the unrelenting heat, my traps, I-bands and thighs were super tight! Joy spent 60 minutes with me and magically worked my shoulders and legs and released all of the tension! Remarkable! She works with athletes, has super strong calibrate-able hands (from light to firm to deep), and has great client massage table-side manner. I heartily recommend her at Massage Envy on Bay Area Blvd at the 45 Freeway! Shes just phenomenal! Wow. Just Wow. 🏊🏻♂️🚴🏼♂️🏃♂️➡️😀
I really enjoy the massages at the Clear Lake location as well as other locations and have been enjoying the membership for 5 years! The facials are good, but they are pricey. The Oxygenating facial cost 2 credits and if I want to buy one as a gift it cost $250. I highly recommend people try out Hyper Restore Wellness down the road. I bought two oxygenating facials, they were having a special, for $194! They usually cost $175 there. The aesthetician there used to work at a medical spa and is fabulous.
It was a very nice prenatal massage with Johanna. I was very relaxed and eased with her various techniques that seemed to melt the tension right away. Much appreciated and I will return. Now Im thinking about the membership too. What a great deal. Thank you ME of Clear Lake!

Natalia is amazing!It’s a long review so i’ll just start there.Ive been searching for a massage therapist for a long time who has talent, skill, and is knowledgable about what theyre doing. I wouldn’t say I’m picky I just want a good service for what I’m paying for and Natalia provides just that! She’s naturally talented, but also has a lot of skill and knowledge about what she’s doing. I have so much tension/knots. Considering I’m a mom, wife, work full time, in school full time, etc etc if you can relate then Natalia is for you. I need a new back after how hard I work my body through And every time I leave a service with Natalia I have just that. My back feel 20 years younger! I’ve had a huge knot and pain in my neck and after one session it was gone! As are most, if not all of my knots! She’s amazing and I love going to her! I personally go to get my back fixed, but when I want to relax she also does just that! I 10000% recommend Natalia!
This was the absolute best facial I have ever had. Christy continually massages throughout the entire session. Her pressure is perfect! Her product knowledge and explanations of each step in the process was very informative. I felt exceptionally rejuvenated and glowing when I left!!!
Eugene is awesome! I thought I was going to need to see a chiropractor, but after the first time Eugene worked on my back, the pain was gone! If you’re tense, he works on the area instead of breezing by. Been going to him quite frequently lately and it doesn’t hurt to move anymore. So thankful!
Went to get a 90-minute full-body massage along with a 15-minute foot scrub. She spent most of the time on my lower back and digging what felt like her elbows in my glutes. Massaged the backside of my lower leg and just rubbed lotion on my arms. Didnt touch any other part of the body. The manager stated, she would give me a free 90 minute, full-body. Massage with a foot scrub. The second girl did well except at the end. She stuck her finger in my rotator cup and kept pressing hard as she could until I asked her to stop. She did the same thing to my upper forearm and never received the foot scrub. Asked about upfront, the lady told me it wasnt in the system. She just dismissed it and told me to have a nice day.

Massage Envy at Clear Lake in Webster is a great place to go. Very professional and kind staff. Angie the one who does my facials is very kind and helpful. Mark who does deep tissue massages is awesome and Ryan who does stretch sessions is so helpful. I go into Massage envy really stressed after a long week and I leave feeling refreshed and relaxed!
Our first time there. My wife and I set up an appointment for some relaxation. The front desk was so helpful answering all of our questions. In the massage room we felt comfortable the masseuses did an amazing job. Walked out feeling relaxed and ready for the following work week. My wife and I are setting up another appointment very soon. Highly recommend this place.
Not impressed. For my 1st massage in 2- 3 years, I’m not sure what I was expecting but it definitely was not what I received. Will not be back to this location.
I have been using Massage Envy for many years for massages and facials. I have a few chronic orthopedic issues and the massage therapy works really well managing/reducing pain levels and improving flexibility.The service is always relaxing and pleasant. The massage therapists are all good at adjusting the pressure as appropriate to whatever my particular issue is at the time of service.I use the mobile app to schedule appointments and that makes it very easy to find a particular therapist at a specific location on whatever date/time you have available. It also allows you to filter by gender and pressure specialization of a therapist.The staff is great at confirming appointments the day before via text message and I always appreciate the reminder.

When getting pricing at massage envy, Webster, there were no prices anywhere; Not on their website, not listed in their lobby, just the services. The services for a facial on their website show micro infusion yet it will include the Microderm abrasion too with more cost. So the cost is much more. They avoid price altogether. It is like they avoid conflict when it comes to talking about price. Having been is sales it is good to get the pricing out of the way first so to have customers keep coming back.They ha you fill out information on an iPad for backgrou information yet also to use to sell more services When getting a massage they never go over pricing, they just ask what areas do you want to cover so then they can increase the bill. That is so shady. You do not know what you’re paying for until all the services are complete and it is a shocking expense.They also do tips separate and charge a fee with the tips like a tax. The microderm infusion facial is not done alone you have to purchase the microderm infusion with the microderm abrasion. I looked at pricing on Google and micro infusion was averaging $130 at massage envy. When I went to check out they said it would be $188. The receipt showed $190.00. Then, of course, you can commit to a contract with a membership and save about half your money. I think they are very shady. I was very disappointed!!! The services were good. I felt price gouged.Thoughts anyone?
All the staff here are polite, kind, and very professional, from the receptionists to the various massage therapists I have worked with. The building itself is always clean and calm. I cant ever remember seeing even a single plastic water cup left laying around. The building, restrooms, and individual appointment rooms have always been spotless in my two plus years as a customer here.It is also worth mentioning that the entirety of the staff manages time extremely well. I have never had a wait time, or had a massage therapist be late to an appointment.The therapists themselves (as with all humans) vary in degrees as far as techniques, personal energy, and experience; that is actually a great thing because it gives the customer options and freedom (if they choose) to try different therapists to find the one that is a perfect fit for them. Personally speaking, after finding the massage therapist that fit my needs and preferences I began to make weekly appointments. That being said I have never had a massage therapist there that did a poor job or was unprofessional.Tldr: a professional, clean and punctual establishment. 10/10 I would recommend to friends and strangers alike.
Let me tell you Cara is amazing!! I have been seeing her for over a year and she is wonderful! I leave feeling so relaxed and overall better. I suggest seeing Cara if you havent yet. She is the best!
The perfect way to pamper yourself! I love going here for massages. Im not going to tell you my favorites because they are already not available when I need them! Ive also done facials that were good, however I dont like the push to buy their facial products.
Appointment cancelled without notice. The receptionist said she had texted and email, however, both were time stamped after I was there. No viable alternatives that day to reschedule. This kind of issues happens to often there. Since Massage Envy charges if you miss an appointment, why dont they pay customer when they cancel without notice?
The owners of this place are greedy, unempathetic, bad people. Buyer beware.They set rules that make no sense and make their staff enforce them. When a customer has a problem with the rules (like purchased credits are only good for 60 days) the staff says “those are the rules”. I was a loyal member through Covid. I never stopped paying them even though they had very little openings, made you wear a mask during your massage, and made you wait in your car for your massage to start. Despite all that I continue to pay and tried to fit in when I could. The last time I went to Massage Envy was September 2021. I am still being charged even though I have asked to be canceled in November of 2022, I figured they had enough of my money. Due to the policy of one free massage credit per month, during Covid my girlfriend and I racked up about 40 credits over two years. When I wanted to cancel my membership in November 2022, they said I would lose my 40 credits if I didn’t use them all in 60 days (1credit =1hour) I requested an extension which they told me “no that’s the rules. Sorry.” I asked to speak to a manager or the owner I was told “I am the manager and the owners don’t speak to anybody“. I didn’t want to let $3500 worth of credits expire but I did not want massage envy to have another 75 bucks a month from me anymore, so after some choice words to the manager, I cancelled and just accepted that I would lose all my credits. I check my credit card in March 2023 and I’m still being charged. I call and tell them I want my money back from Nov-March and she says “I can give you March and February BECAUSE IM NICE”. Are you kidding me? I’m writing to the better business bureau next. This place needs to have its doors shut. This is a money making scam that gives out mediocre massages. That’s it.
I have been a member of Massage Envy for quite the years now. I am please to say that I have found in Mike T. the perfect match for my disc-disorder’s pain issues. Mike is very professional, friendly and polite. The ladies at the front desk are also very welcoming. I plan to continue my membership and strongly recommend Mike T. at Massage Envy of Clear Lake to anyone in need of a deep tissue massage. Scheduling a consultation with Mike twice a month keeps me most agile!
3/06/23 The massage therapist kept trying to upsell me into a membership by shaming me for not getting massages often enough. It was very off-putting.She also kept rubbing the ligaments in the very center of my lower back and when I complained that it hurt she said it was tight because I didnt get massages often enough. That spot still hurt 24 hours later. Ive never had a massage therapist massage that area before.I filled out the satisfaction survey on 3/7/23. I was told I would receive a response via email within 48 hours. I have not yet received a response as of 3/11/23. On 3/11/23 Massage Envy has responded to my public google review by linking the same survey I filled out on 3/7.I finally received a resolution via email later on 3/11, after I emailed corporate.
Clear Lake location was an awesome experience for myself and my sister. Ryan and Natalia was wonderful. The young lady at the front desk was an absolute sweetheart. Sorry I cannot remember her name. I would highly recommend them. Thank you all for welcoming us and treating us so well for our first massage but not our last.
I would give 0 if that was an option. At the time of booking they told me it’s 1 hour facial + microdermabrasion. Once I went in the room esthetician informed me its only a microdermabrasion for $190. such a rip off. The esthetician was not experienced kept going in and out of the room to get products. Gave me chemical burn in 3 spots and when I tried to show it to her and the front staff they didn’t acknowledge it. Told me they can’t see it when clearly there was a white patch on my skin. I am at the dermatologist office as I type this in pain and frustration. I would attach a pic of the burn if I could. I wanted to talk to the manager but I was told she was in a meeting and that she will call me after. I haven’t heard from her yet. Horrible staff do not go here for facials.
Twice this location has scheduled the wrong time for Massage and the manager chose not to Resolve the problem.
This facility hasn’t been my favorite due to a few things, 1 being the front desk . The ladies up there really lack customer service skills, but today AMANDA changed that. She was VERY PROFESSIONAL AND ATTENTIVE. What I loved the most was that she “LISTENED” to what I had to say and took care of my needs . I wasn’t rushed, and she had a GREAT ATTITUDE. They need more people like her working the front desk and training the staff. Her smile was very radiant and welcoming. I also had received a massage the previous day, and the therapist, well you can definitely tell she doesn’t enjoy what she does. She walked me to the room, left the door open while talking to me. Her attention just wasn’t in the room. I left not really satisfied. So I scheduled an appointment for the day after . And can I say FARREN DEFINITELY MADE UP FOR THE PREVIOUS DAY. Her voice was very soothing, she took her time, and pressure was on point. Hands down one of the best massage I’ve received from there. She has a bright future as a massage therapist and a nurse. Continue to help people, your touch is amazing. We deserve more like FARREN and AMANDA .
This is really an update about Bree (one of the massage therapists). Ive been in to see Bree for my sore back and hips several times now and shes been a miracle worker... Great technique and shes strong enough to get the job done (Im a very big guy and it takes a lot of work to be effective). I can recommend Bree and Massage Envy to anyone who has chronic pain.
Ive been making my appointments with Ryan the last few months and Ive been really happy with the massages. I get a lot of knots and he always very patiently works to get them all out. Hes friendly, makes conversation if you do and doesnt talk when you want to be quiet, takes his cues from the client. Ive been very happy and would give him a 10 if I could.
The front desk was not very friendly. massage was ok. Got pressured into adding cupping even after declining. I Could not relax, the massage therapist talked the entire time. Some of the things she said were very unprofessional. She overshared and over expressed her personal opinions and talked about other co workers. I didn’t enjoy her lack of ethics.
In the beginning I had an overall great experience with Massage Envy I can say they had some great therapist . However recently this location has not made it easy for me . Two months ago i called to place a hold on my membership due to financial hardships and they refused to do so stating i needed to wait until October before i could do so saying it was their policy and that i needed to pay for my full year which would of made October a year. I explained i did not have the funds at the time. They insisted that it was nothing they could do for me. Now months later they have taken out money from my account for $130 dollars mine you there fees are monthly. What is going on?. I will never do business with this location ever or Massage Envy ever.
I suffer from excruciating pain across my shoulders and along my shoulder blades. My masseuse John D. has the greatest hands “Anointed Hands”.. And he is very knowledgeable and experienced. I have been in tears before a session and he was able to make me feel at least 100% coming out of a session. The deep tissue is amazing… not many masseuse have been successful with deep tissue from different places but there at MASSAGE ENVY… I found a perfect match! I been a customer for two years…The ambience is really nice the staff is exceptionally courteous and helpful they greet you with a smile and keep the place clean….The MASSAGE ENVY that I visit is in Webster off of Bay Area Blvd. And you should try it and when you do ask for John D. … Thank you JOHN for all that you do you are truly an amazing person! Kianne was very professional and attentive. She offered to wear a mask, which I appreciated her doing. She spent more time on my neck and upper back. I have severe arthritis, so it felt great. She was thorough and gave a firm massage. I was very satisfied.

Around 3 years ago I booked my first professional massage. Ever since then I’ve been coming to this location exclusively. Front desk has always been professional and take the time to help you find the therapist that suits your needs. I’ve been with Megan, John, and Johnny (yes there’s a difference) and neither of them have disappointed. The add ons for sessions such as aromatherapy are pretty inexpensive, and do add to your session. I highly recommend to anyone out there looking for staff who genuinely care about your needs.
America gave an incredible facial, thoroughly enjoyed it. My issue is that I had a gift card that I received at Christmas for a stocking stuff special and it was supposed to cover the facial as well as gratuity. I ended up having to pay $20 more plus the gratuity. I was disappointed and surprised that the gift card promotion would not be honored. I completely understand that they are individually owned I just assumed being a franchise that there would be basic guidelines all locations share including gift card promotions.
Nina and America do such a great job with their services. They always make sure you’re comfortable and enjoying your service. I’ve had a lot of neck and back pain and after one day with them, I’ve already started to feel like my old self. Thanks you guys!
John is AMAZING!!! He listened to my needs & concerns & was spot on! He adjusted the pressure as I requested & found areas that I wasnt even aware that were hurting! Personally, I think thats the mark of a great massage therapist! I request him ONLY & will tell my family & friends to do the same!
Made an appointment online. First time to go to this location. When I got there at 2:30 pm on Sunday, door was locked. Called another location…no help. Then someone unlocked the door. She said my masseuse had an injury and canceled. Confirmed my phone number but not messages to me. Won’t go there again.
This was the best massage I have had. Kianne was great. She listened to my request and worked on me accordingly. Next time will be 90 minutes. And my wife with Mike was pleased as always.
Gabby provided my service at Massage Envy (Clear Lake). She was kind, courteous and caring. The time passed by so very quickly. It was truly a relaxing and enjoyable experience. I would definitely recommend Gabby. Thanks for a great session.
Massage therapists employed here are unprofessional . Ones mom is sick and she will treat you as her therapist, after talking to management I was switched to a new lady and credited my massage.I was told my job isn’t a “real job”. I was guilted bc I can’t afford 90 min massages every week. You will also be told your massage therapists relationship problems , health problems etc. I’ve had bruises left on me. NOT relaxing .the bad experiences here outweigh my good ones. When trying to transfer my membership to another location because of the problems I was told I couldn’t and I couldn’t cancel.
I have been seeing Mike for years and years! He is consistently great at massage. He listens and responds to any specific problem areas and is very professional. Over the years, I have also learned that he is a great human being!!
It was an ok experience. I booked a 60 min session and informed them on my paperwork that I was pregnant. They didnt have the proper massage table for pregnant women, so I got 3 pillows and had to lay on my side for the massage. The staff was very nice and my masseuse was kind and professional, but the pressure just wasnt there. I was hoping to alleviate some of my back pain, but left feeling the same as I got there. Dont go here if you want a pre-natal massage.UPDATE: They sent me to Corporate, which gives you a lame auto-response. Then Corporate sends you back to the location you got the massage at. Apparently, customer service is subpar if you complain.

Great therapists (Lanette and Deanne). Not great front desk though. They’ve been eating food when I’ve come in to check in for an appointment. One lady is overly assertive sorta a militant air. The times I have spoken with them on the phone to schedule an appointment about 50% of the time they are very short with me.*UPDATE: That particular lady has gotten much better. She has been friendly every time I’ve come in in the last couple of months.*After the first appointment in about December 2020, I got an email asking for a customer review so that their managers could read it and make any necessary changes. I included some requests for cleaning stains off of the lobby furniture and cleaning off their super dusty air vents and ceilings. Happens to be the first thing you look at when you’re laying on a massage table. I’ve never seen any of these things improve.
Great experience over all ! From the start to the end! Highly recommend! Only did a massage no additional services, but I feel very relaxed my body feels great.I loved the fact that they gave you water which Is very important post massage for rehydration. Gianna is very knowledgeable and overall a fantastic therapist, again I had a fantastic experience and will return for more!
Ive been getting massages for nearly 30 years and the industry has definitely changed. Massage therapist arent nearly as good as years past. The quality and technique has diminished tremendously. I wish that the Massage therapists of yesteryear would come back.
Michael is very polite and professional. He always asks what are we doing today? He listened and always delivered a great experience. I wish the company provided bottled water after massage. Theres a water cooler but no cups. You must hydrate after massages.
One hour massage with enhancements. Total check out after tip was $190.My neck, shoulders, legs or arms never got touched. Not worth it at all.Not to mention the icy hot feeling that was rubbed on my back to make me feel FREEZING COLD. I wanted a relaxing massage. Not to have my feet and hands wrapped at the same time in cold wet rags while my back was ice cold while I was naked and only had part of my body massaged.$190, my birthday, a babysitter hired and it was pretty horrible.
I was having issues with my lower back after doing heavy cleaning of back patio. I go to a chiropractor but wanted some additional tension relief. I had a 30min rapid tension relief session with John. John did a great job of listening and adjusting pressure in the different areas. Would definitely go back.
Chris happened to not be available on two different occasions so instead of getting our full body massage, a facial was offered instead for the same hour. We did not ask for a facial whatsoever. We (my sister and I) were contacted 2 hours prior for them to cancel. Yet, if we do not contact them 24hrs in advance we are fully charged. But they can call in a moments notice and say sorry you have to reschedule. Basically, to bad, so sad, oh well. I attempted to contact other locations aside from bay area and their words were youre not the first complaint at this location, we actually get a lot of complaints from that location. My advice Id go with a whole different company. Definitely not this location at least.
John B. At the Clear Lake Massage Envy in Webster, Texas is the best masseuse Ive experienced in all of years as a member at Massage Envy! This most recent visit, I had a major back sprain that was completely resolved with my visit with John. Im so grateful for him!
Massage Envy and their front desk agents are least accommodating. They are very pricey. I have accumulated many credits in the past year due to COVID and it is so hard to transfer them due to their rigid policies. A couple of times, I met all the conditions of their policies and still their system wouldnt allow them to proceed ahead (which we came to know later was the mistake of the front desk agent). Highly disappointed with their services.

Already waiting 2 days no response. Have to wait 10 days after they approve cancellation for cancellation to take affect. Hopefully will not be charged an extra month because they are taking too long.

Every time I call the customer service representatives (front desk people) sound like robots. They have extremely poor listening skills and sound as though they are forced to speak off a script. In addition, I have had over 10 massages at massage envy and all but one have been awful. Examples: The therapists have been late, applied far too much pressure after repeatedly asking for them to lighten the pressure (so much that I have come out with bruises and or feel worse after the massage) or the opposite apply extremely light pressure the entire time after repeatedly asking for more firm pressure. Further the therapists are not chiropractors nor doctors and should not be forcefully manipulating my neck or nerves. I have had this happen on several occasions including the most recent. I am very polite to all therapist and always tip but being pressured to tip by the front desk staff after an awful, painful massage in which I cant wait for it to end is unprofessional. They always ask how the massage was as they are looking away or down at the computer, again, sounding like robots on a script they could honestly care less about my true experience. Once I said, the massage was actually painful and the opposite of relaxing to which the front desk gal replied, thats great, would you like to leave a tip for your therapist. For this, among other reasons, I would never recommend Massage Envy to another person. In fact I would steer anyone I know away from getting any services at massage envy.
Massage Envy has done well. Theyve created a name brand for cheap, mid-quality massages. Every location is clean and the customer service at the front desk is always warm and welcoming. So why three stars? For starters, the quality of the massages varies greatly. More importantly, the structure of their corporate policies are designed to be anti-consumer. Ive been a member off and on for over seven years. Each time I sign up to be a member, Im reminded why I always cancel. If anything goes wrong or if anything varies from the standard membership, management is quick to say, Sorry, but thats our policy. Or, Sorry, but our system will only allow us to ... I guess when you pay the minimum for a massage membership, you should expect the minimum from management. With so many choices for massages in the Clear Lake area, there doesnt seem to be a reason to continue as a customer.
Charles did an amazing job! I suffer from. arthritis in my shoulder & has been hurting for days, with decreased range of motion in my neck. Today, it feels great! With 85% of the pain gone.
From the moment I walked in I felt very welcomed. And was put into a nice relaxing room until my it was my turn. The massage room was very soothing and I enjoyed my experience there very much! And will be back.
Worst customer service experience in todays day and age when for most businesses that is the top priority. They are least accommodating, and their system is so rigid that it doesnt allow them to make reasonable changes. Their policies are so rigid that you feel like you have thrown money in a well and feel stuck with it. I dont recommend their membership to anyone.
I just received a massage by Chris and he was absolutely amazing! I can not say enough nice things about him, he even showed me some stretches that are going to help me so much! Definitely going back to him soon. And highly recommend
Update: Im now treating myself to 120 minute sessions.So luxurious! Lisa Kianneg is my go to for a complete session- relaxing in some areas, and firm in others.----‐--☆☆☆☆☆☆I love getting my massages with Kianneg. She is a professional who takes her training and skills seriously. I like the 90 minute sessions as I need extra time on my neck and shoulders and upper back. Kiannegs arm massages are incredible!
Massage Envy has a comfortable, clean, relaxing atmosphere. Weve been going there for years now. Staff is always polite and courteous. We asked for their top therapists for the first several appointments and tried each one. Then we narrowed it down to 3 we liked and have never been disappointed. The price is right too. A massage a month keeps the doctor away.
UPDATE: Massage Envy continues to charge my account on a monthly basis. Manager Scott has pretended to help adding that he will transfer the 4 credits i have. Credits were never transferred yet they continue to charge my account. Worst establishment!Im a cancer patient that unfortunately is unable to utilize massage envy services, I have tried to cancel my account with them sooo many times, I provided all the documentation they needed in order to cancel. Till this day and throughout the entire pandemic when everything was closed, Massage Envy was STILL CHARGING ME AND STILL IS. The manager and staff are very rude, they said multiple times they will cancel and transfer my credits to friends that can use it and none of it has been done. Ive been fighting this battle with them aside from my cancer & everything else going on this world since March...and still, worse service, NO SYMPATHY, NO COMMUNICATION. Manager Scott and his assistants...rude and nonchalant, just dont care as long as they are charging your money.

I have been a member for 4 months and Im so happy I joined! My therapist name is Tim and he is awesome! Very knowledgeable about about his craft and loves what he does. The staff is great too super helpful!
Massage Envy - Clear Lake advised me to use my gift card to purchase a membership, they did not advise me that I would then be locked into a years membership with them. When I called to find out why they continued to bill my card they informed me that I had a membership. I indicated that I wanted to cancel the membership and the rep on the phone told me that she would have to charge me 2 more times before I could cancel. I do not think that they were clear in communicating that I was locked into a years contract.I do not recommend this place.
I will never do business here again. I bought the mother’s day promotional 125 dollar 2 hour massage and facial for my mom to use. When she went to use the gift card they claimed it was empty and that nothing was ever on it. They claim there isn’t even a transaction for it as well, however, to get the free facial for the promotion you had to buy that specific gift card that I bought. They have a record of the free facial which should prove I bought the gift card, but they apparently don’t have any transaction of me spending 125 dollars. I pretty much threw away a lot of money because of an employee who messed up my transaction. It’s beyond ridiculous, I’ll definitely never buy or go there again, seeing as they took a good amount of money from me.

Mike is the BEST Therapist ever!! He has been my massage therapist for years and has kept me functioning in a profession that is grueling on the upper body!! Highly professional and knowledgable.
First, I requested a COUPLES massage but when I got there, my fiance and I were escorted to different rooms. Second, when I made the appointment on the phone, I requested aromatherapy to be added to my massage. NOTHING was ever mentioned when I checked in nor when I was brought to the room about aromatherapy. I was so flustered by the end of my session and I didnt even feel like bringing it up when I was checking out. I requested 2 specific things while scheduling on the phone and didnt end up with either one. Im not very happy about my experience.

Horrible management, who told us that a massage membership could be cancelled at any time during the term. After six months & a lack of time to attend massages, they would not allow membership cancellation. After requesting cancellation with the manager, he refused and said sorry youre on contract. In other words, we will tell you something verbally, and weasel you into signing a contract and forcing you to pay for something you cannot reasonably use. Do not sign up for a membership here.

Massage was decent enough, it felt very rushed. The front desk people were awful. I could hear them laughing loudly from my room. When I first arrived, there were 4-5 employees at the front desk swapping stories about customers that grossed them out. They were loud that I could hear them and I was mortified that they were doing that in the first place but in the front lobby, in front of guests was completely unprofessional.
I have been going here for years, practically since they opened and I am always very particular about my appointments because I do a lot of international travel. I arrive today and am told that I don’t have any appointments.Well, I stood there last month with the reception desk and went through the whole process of getting my appointments. This time not one once of customer service from the reception desk was shown!!!!! I was even asked by another leaving customer if this happened often. Her remark, “I didn’t see any customer service at all”.
Most painful massage that I’ve ever had, too much pressure, but my fault for not speaking up more. I told him that he wasn’t going to be able to get rid of my muscle spasms, but I think men just have to conquer them.
The over all experience with the massage therapist are very good for the most part. Ive have some great massage there and some not so great massages. But thats not the problemThe real problem I have is with Massage Envys policy requiring a current credit card on file in order to collect on already pre-paid sessions. And if you refuse to make the card current so they can change you again, your are not able to collect on the sessions you have already paid for.In order to cancel your membership, Massage Envy requires a 30 day written notice, so they can charge you again. I sent a notice to Massage Envy for cancellation in November of last year 2014, however they claim they never received the notice and now say I owe them for an addition 3 months at a cost of $150.00 I spoke to the manager at the Bay Area location in Webster (real prick) about the situation. He was not very cordial and refused to make the situation right even after I explain that I sent the required notice to cancel my membership, which they have already sent to a collection agency. So if your credit card expires and you dont renew, you can face a similar situation. Please respond if you have had a similar experience with Massage Envy.
The staff at this location are very friendly and accommodating. I felt like all of the questions I had were answered. My session with Richard was very relaxing and I left there feeling great. I will be visiting again soon.

SCAM ALERT, these people will duck your calls, lie to you, and continually keep lying. The manager told me to my face that my wife could cancel anytime and once we decided to cancel, they then informed her that this was not the case and that she would be paying over $650 in services. Do not spend your money here, they absolutely do not care about you.
Not a good place. Handed me a bunch of nonsensical paperwork to fill out followed by a completely unnecessary interview. During my massage my masseuse talked incessantly about right wing racist bizarre stuff and smoking weed in his youth. I left feeling more stressed than when I went in. All I wanted was a peaceful quiet nice relaxing massage. Horrid.

If you want to be charged a ridiculous price, this is the place to go. They said I had an account already and could not get first time pricing. Which was a complete lie. They make false accounts so they can charge you full price. I’m not even from that city and have been going to another massage spa for years. Never been to a massage envy.

If you are considering a membership, you may want to think again. You will be locked-in until all 6 or 12 payments are received, even if the membership is frozen the term of your membership is extended. I requested to cancel my membership considering the therapist I frequent was no longer with Massage Envy and the front desk manager Sharon rudely declined and stated my account will continue to be charged monthly. Massage Envy generally has a high turnover and their membership is highly unethical. I have made a deal with the devil.
Like anything else it is about the people. The greeters are friendly and attentive. Mike is exceptional and and base my rating on his service. But i have had friends use both Sam and Donald and they were extremly pleased as well. The times I have been i havent run into any time nazis either.

This franchises websites price list falsely boasts a 60 minute introductory massage for $65. I visited the location and was informed by the two employees at the front desk that a single 60 minute massage is $95. Staff was very friendly. VERY expensive massage.

I tried to call him, he is never around. I tried Lana. I looked them up on facebook and they just ignore any messages or comments and then block you. I am a manager myself and would be ashamed to treat other humans the these people do. Do not spend your hard earned money on people who mistreat other people like this.

I liked this place, until they started charging my account an extra $65 a month, they never told me this in the beginning so now I pay up $140 just for one hour a month for a massage..last month they charged me twice then when I went to reschedule they charged me AGAIN for a month I didnt even have, so now instead of getting a stress free massage Im now getting over drafting fees that I cant even get my money back...they should really tell you they charge extra fees if you sign up for a membership, they fooled me...never ever going back
