Best place to go out in Los Angeles! The atmosphere is amazing. They bring in the best DJs to perform. The GM Kevin is running the place to a tee and Johan is the man inside taking care of everyone! They offer bottle service and even opened the upstairs again which is nice. Jean at the bar is super friendly and a fast bartender. I love coming here to dance with friends! Opened 3 nights a week Thursday-Saturday. Also Patrick at the door is great. Just make sure you’re dressed up properly to make his life easier. No regular shirts, shorts or basketball shoes for guys and ladies wear a dress or something nice to go out in to make sure you aren’t denied at the door. Definitely stop by for an epic night out!
Went to this spot recently to see if it was true about the abusive door n rude staff...Well ...Unfortunately it is a fact....If your not part or what they think is hip...Your screwed to even get in...N service is ok, but for the money you spend..Hell! any decent dive bar has far better customer service...Their discriminatory practices may not just be rude n unpleasant...But actually illegal...N with a liquor license, that doesnt go over well with ABC .....Going to visit a old school mate this coming week who is with ABC n speak to him about the goings on there....May not do anything n it may sink the ship..Well see...Reason Im looking into this is....I hate Euro Trash acting as if their something special in the states...If they were special.....Theyd be in their own country ..Especially the French...Grew up in western 🇨🇦 ..Dont have much love for FrogsYeah i know its not a nice term...But far sweeter than the smack the door people n staff talk about patrons ...Toxic placeStay awayIf you have any class at all....
My recent visit to this nightclub was nothing short of a nightmare. From the moment I approached the entrance, I was met with the disdainful glare of the bald doorman, Pat, whose lack of hair seemed to correlate with his complete lack of manners and decency. His attitude was not only disrespectful but also alarmingly racist. As a person of color, I felt targeted and unwelcome from the outset.Despite attempting to maintain a positive attitude, I was continually subjected to the doormans abrasive behavior. His disdainful remarks and dismissive gestures left me feeling humiliated and uncomfortable. Its truly disheartening to encounter such blatant bigotry in a supposedly inclusive environment. Moreover, the nightclub itself failed to live up to even the most basic expectations. Its evident that the management prioritizes fostering a toxic environment over providing an enjoyable experience for their patrons. In conclusion, I would strongly advise against patronizing this establishment. Not only does it condone and perpetuate racism through its employment practices, but it also fails to deliver on its promise of providing a fun and welcoming nightlife experience. Save yourself the trouble and seek entertainment elsewhere.I would give it zero stars if I could but I will say the DJ was awesome so Ill give them the 1 star for that.
“We have a very strict door policy and management reserves the right to refuse entry.”Meaning if you dont look a certain way .. cough cough 👩🏼 . You are not allowed in regardless if you have a reserved table. If you would like to go to a small outdated club with the most rude security and want to be belittled then this is the place for you
We reserved a table here to celebrate a few of us passing the bar exam. We were told it was an exclusive club and that there was a $2k minimum (no problem). We wanted something different, not Warwick or the regular go-tos, considering it was a special day. When we arrived, we were greeted by possibly the rudest staff I’ve ever encountered in LA. They selectively spoke French in front of their guests, except we are all fluent Spanish speakers and could make out the awful comments that were made. The people in front of us were not allowed in, despite having a reservation, because a blonde woman in a slicked back bun looked at each person up and down and said “no.” I’ve seen that happen at clubs before but not the way she did it. It was comically rude and shocking. Despite witnessing this, we still gave the place the benefit of the doubt. When we got to the front of the line, we overheard the same blonde woman ask a bald guy in French, “who would leave the house in that” referring to my friend’s pink dress. The blonde woman proceeded to roll her eyes when the promoter said we were allowed in.Once inside, the bottle service girls seemed to either hate their jobs or our group. There were no smiles or attempts to make us feel comfortable the entire time that we were there, despite purchasing multiple bottles. After a while we wondered if the issue was that we weren’t white Europeans, but of Mexican descent. We’ll never know but that’s exactly how it felt the entire night. We were made to feel unwelcome and the staff seemed genuinely bothered by having to serve us. They actually made us feel awkward every time they came around. Further, the club is about the size of a large conference room and the bathroom has only 2 stalls. They also have a man working inside the closet that is the woman’s restroom..a little odd but he at least had manners. The DJ was decent and when we ignored the blatantly classless staff, we managed to enjoy ourselves. However, as we left, the blonde woman made two additional comments under her breath about the way women in my group were dressed. I’ve never experienced a bottle service girl that is allowed to walk around insulting paying customers, or one that follows them as they leave the club to make passive comments but wow did she feel comfortable acting like she owned the place…I’ve checked the reviews and the rude staff/racially charged discrimination appears to be an ongoing issue with this place. We will not be returning or recommending this place to anyone.
Really liked my visit here. VERY unique. Had a few cocktails and the bartenders were great. Great for dancing, they had a DJ. It got crowded quick on a weekend night. Loved that there was no cover fee or reservation required. Crowd was unique too. Go here if you want an adventure.
Low key one of the best places to go out in Los Angeles. Small but elegant. Bottle service tables around which make it a cool and fun vibe. The DJ is bumping and the dance floor usually energetic the last 2 hours. Easy to grab a drink at the side bar from Jean whos the man and super nice. Not the easiest place to get into on a crazy night without a table reservation, but definitely a hot spot. Patrick at the door keeps everything in line.
Love our night at Raspoutine! Amazing atmosphere and cocktails are great. Perfect place to dance the night away.
Best club in LA, music is amazing and very good crowd. Very selective place.
Great vibes and delicious cocktails, one of the best places to go out in LA. Cant wait to come back
Was told it was guest list only and that’s their policy! Except it says nothing about that on the website!
Even if you made a reservation it doesnt meant they will let you go inside. So awkward and ridiculous club Ive ever been. Stuff is absolutely unfriendly and not helpful at all.
Horrible experience! There is a huge discrimination against men there! We were a group of 7, 5 girls and 2 men. They didn’t let the men go, first they said they don’t have room! Then they said we don’t have dress code! When we got a jacket they said we need to get a table for 700$ at least! The door man was so rude and he was yelling! I have never gotten insulted in my life! December 17th around midnight
I’ve never been discriminated and bullied like at this club ever before. They literally ruined my night by being racist towards me! Don’t recommend to anyone this disgusting place!!🤮The blond tall doorman guy is racist. He even admit it himself!
Best night club in LA, best classy crowd, best music (deep house), best service. Just go to experience!!!
Great service, super chill door bouncers. The vibe and the dj was on point! The art director of the place did a wonderful job.
The DJ is amazinggggggg the one on Thursday’s is sooooo awesome!!! We dance for hours. It’s very small and cozy and all types of people inside. Not just young people go but also a lot of 30’s+.... it’s nice to be able to go out in LA and have a little classier night.
Amazing place, Macha is the best
Worst experience ive ever had at a club the manager yohan pushed my girlfriend to the floor and i am suing. The door man with glasses was very rude to me for no reason.
Very nice place with great people. Fantastic time there. Popular DJ , house music.
I’ve been to Raspoutine in Paris several times, fun to have the experience in LA. Had an absolute blast dancing the night away, great music, fun vibe, great crowd
Stylish place with the best electronic music. Very good atmosphere. Highly recommended.
I don’t recommend this place for classy people. The door man are extremely rude and disrespectful. The place itself is dirty and small. Everyone would step on your toe.
Best electronic in town FOR SURE. Sexy and cosy place. Perfect to meet nice people and have a blast. And the service team is amazing
Very bad service, charging extra, Managers name is Yogan and his Rasist, they lie on the phone and onece your there they don’t let you in when they find out your Race, im just letting everyone know to not waist your time and go there.
Arguably the best Dance Music club in LA. Super intimate but The DJ kills it everytime. A hidden gem.
Amazing vibe. DJ was great. Management is even better.
Great Deep-House music, great and dirty drops. Very nice interior and only the best looking people are here! 😍😍
Super bad. I dont want to give even one star. Waste of money and time.NO air conditioning and there is NO fresh Air!!! Hot and nasty place....
This place has no class, inside is very outdated, drinks are watered-down, door man was extremely rude and was dressed like hobo.
Threatened with physical violence by bouncer outside of club for no reason. Avoid at all costs.
Great club a lot of beautiful people!
[I arrive][Empty bar]Hey are you open? Are you on the guest list?NoIts that kind of place.. [Silence][I leave, write review]
Super friendly staff, great vibe. Exceeded my expectations.
Don’t let people in, considering they are the least popular bar in WEHO
Worst club in LA by a long shot.
Great staff
Look out for Ellen von Unwerth and Dana Boulos
Great house music
Security staff was rude
Be careful, v racist
Horrible security & vibe
Not Dope
Worst experience in LA
Wouldn’t come here
Music good
Love this place
Tacky place.
What a welcome at the entrance !!!What kind of rude people you put to represent yourself at the door??English man at the door super rude and aggressive with me, a woman, for no reason.People dont go out at night to get attacked for free by random people at the door.I just read the others reviews left and apparently its common treatment here. You should be ashamed how you treat people. Such violence and attitude for no reason. Thats the image you create of your self. If the owners doesnt do anything after all this reviews its because he is good with his employees mistreating people at the door this way.
Great nightclub in LA. The atmosphere, music and ambiance make this place authentic.
Unpleasant and pompous welcome.
Super nice French physio
