Collette was amazing ! This was my first experience at massage envy. I have had many massages, some had more scenery . Oceans, palm tress etc. However Collette was one of the best therapist! Cant wait to go back ! Congratulations to Colette for 18 years at this location !

Matt is absolutely phenomenal! He personalizes the massage to make sure you get what you need. He is professional, courteous, and a great massage therapist. The front desk staff is also amazing. Greet you immediately, always have a smile, make sure you’re comfortable, and ensure you had a great massage. Superb location. Definitely recommend it to anyone.

I booked a massage a few weeks ago with Matt and was a littlw apprehensive since I had never had a male massage therapist. Matt was absolutely incredible from the second we met! He was conscious of my concerns and trouble areas, he was extremely kind and professional. I usually dont book with the same therapist but after our first session I immediately grabbed is last 2 available openings for the month. Without a doubt the best massage Ive had! Thank you Matt!!!

I go to Anita AND Matt. Matt for me is used for more deep tissue and Anita is used for a more relaxing, pleasurable escape. They both are great and I use them both for whatever I need in that moment. Matt is great at stretching too and gives me pointers and recommendations at home. Thank you both of you so much. -Ali

First time here. Michaela was the ideal therapist. Very professional and attune to my needs. Its refreshing when you dont have to give a reminder of the pressure selected and when they can feel a knot and spend some extra time in the area as discussed in the pre-session consult. Though the drive is a little out of the way for me, I will definitely be coming back. Thank you!

Matt at Massage Envy Concord Pike does an excellent job. I have been getting massages for many years and Matt is by far one of the best! He does a lot of stretching that helps so much with the pain relief and relaxation. High Recommend.

I had one of the best deep tissue massages of my life today! Ive been getting massages ever 2-4 weeks for more than 15 years. Massage is an essential part of my exercise maintenance. Whether to recover from a heavy strength training session or race or preparing my muscles for a race, I believe massages are integral to my health, self-care and recovery. Today, my therapist was Matt. Tye front dest recommended him as a new therapist to the location. I was skeptical, but my hesitancy vanished within the first 5 minutes. He was AH-MA-ZING!!! The amount of pressure he applied was just what I needed to feel better. I had lifted several heavy crates the day before so my neck and back were in knots😞 I felt so much better when I left and was actually able to walk upright without stiffness and bend over. I could tell he needed more time than my 60 minute session to really get everything right again, so I quickly booked his next available appointment in 6 days!!! Thats just how great he is😁 If youre looking for a wonderfully rejuvenating and relaxing massage, do not hesitate to book with Matt at the Concord Pike location. You wont regret it. Im already booked every 2-4 weeks through the end of the year. Thank me later😉

Ive been a customer on and off for almost 10 years in New York, New Jersey and California... this location stands out head and shoulders above the rest. I recently had some back to back services and would like to note the front desk staff is an amazing team of friendly and knowledgeable professionals that give an air of welcome and camaraderie. The facial Lisa gave me left my skin glowing and feeling rejuvenated and the deep tissue massage I received from Matt gave me back range of motion I wasnt even aware had been compromised. I will be back and highly recommend; dont miss out on an amazing experience.

Tried to get a massage wo an appointment by walking in…there wasn’t anyone at the counter. Waited 4 minutes, called no one answered it went directly to a message. Walked out.

Therapist should have been provided a sick day. Coughing and sneezing and runny nose made my husband very uncomfortable. Asked no questions to confirm pressure. Attempted to upsell a membership when he was there receiving a gift. Will not go back.

I carry all of my stress in my in my neck and shoulders. I’ve gone and saw Matt twice now. He has the magic touch to release those tension knots and really get in a deep massage. My neck feels 10x better.I also have to say how welcoming and awesome the front desk is, esp w my crazy schedule.

My first facial was by Lisa. It was relaxing, left my face soft and moisturized. As soon as I said it was tingling or slightly burning Lisa changed the product and her way of giving the treatment. She was very responsive to my feedback. My skin is very sensitive and next time I would make that clear from the beginning.

Had a very impressive deep massage with Matt. I don’t think I’ve ever experienced a therapist who can apply as much massage pressure as Matt. If you’ve never experienced deep tissue massage it does take getting used to initially but after the massage is done everything in your body feels so rejuvenated.

Ive been seeing Anita at the Naamans road location for a long while now. Shes often booked more than a month in advance. I believe its because she listens and modifies the treatment based on current problem areas, and listens to direct feedback very well. Thank you Anita!

Massage theorist did not show up. They canceled my wife and I appointment and did nothing to compensate us for showing up, waiting around for 20 minutes. Do not recommend

Therapist Matt is a healer. He finds the spots causing the aches and pains and works them skillfully until the body releases. My neck has greater range of motion, my posture improves, and my aches dissipate after a visit with Matt.

Amy is kind, personable, and gives perfect massages with just the right amount of pressure. Can’t wait for next time! Xavier is also very accommodating and fun to chat with. Great staff. Keep it up.

I have been a member since they opened this location. I have had periods of time I went very often recovering from sport injury related surgeries and I have had periods of time I had to freeze my account. There has been different management along the way. The folks I have worked with over the years have been exceptional. I’m certain Covid has affected business last year and it is harder to get appointments with certain therapist but I appreciate all they have done to maintain a high level of quality of care over the years.Anita is a GEM and I appreciate her so much. She is a true, honest healer ❣️

Me and my wife flew from Charlotte NC to Philadelphia PA for her birthday celebration. I set a appointment with Message Envy a week ahead of time for a full body message and a few other services for March 10th 2023 at 10am. I got there ontime and they told me they could not do her message because the Tech Ashley son had covid. I understand that. They could not fit me in or offer a gift card or anything. The response was nothing we can do. I asked her to call her supervisor to see if he could help. he said nothing he could do for anyday that weekend. Now im there for a nice gift for my wife she is so disappointed and sad. I wanted to elevate the situation but I did not and just left with the look on my wifes face. This part really got me upset they texted me at 10:30 after I left about cancelling the appointment. No one contacted me prior. Customer service failed major. Im in sales so i understand how to deal with customers. I will not tell anyone not to use a company for services. I will say they failed on so many levels.

Very nice technician but she was pretty inept.It was like she was winging it and wouldn’t even to the same things in both sides of my body. She was towards the front of my neck sometimes, no where near a muscle, but near my trachea. Often times she was directly on the spinous processes of my spine or my ribs not near muscle or tissue. Her nails often dug into my skin. I think she meant well but needs to be trained on major muscle groups and the basics.My quads were never touched, and oddly she spent time my scalp and ears which I put done not to touch.Definitely an odd and disappointing experience.

Collette is very good therapist, I have had her for years now. The place needs an overall upkeep it smells when I walk in… moldy not what a massage place normal smells like with incensesNeeds new carpeting. If it weren’t for Collette I would have stop coming there all together.

Prior to having an appointment at Massage Envy, I had never had a professional massage. I have upper back and shoulder injuries causing the muscles to be very tense and tight. Stress does not help with that as well. However, after two sessions at Massage Envy, I feel amazing and my experiences have been nothing but perfect!My first appointment was with Sheldon and he is a very nice and respectful gentleman. He is a pleasure to talk to and can give some great advice for life. He does a great job at digging deep into the muscles and stretching them out.My second appointment was with Michaela (hope Im not spelling it wrong). She is a lovely and radiant lady. She is very friendly and a delight to talk to. She is great at a more relaxed, fine massage that warms up and gets blood flowing into the muscles.The front desk was as well amiable. Very easy to talk to and very caring. Always eager to get you a cup of nice water or tea.Only down side is the cost. Time to start saving up money!

I booked a appointment online for 1215. Got there at 1205. I walked up told them I had a 1215 appointment. I went back to car and wait to get called in. Anyway i got a call at 1215 saying they arent ready for me yet and it be about 5 10 mins. Ok fine no worries15 minutes go by and got another call its now 1230. I will have to wait longer and it wont be to 1245 till I can come in i have been waiting for over 40 minutes, told the girl how frustrated I was and she was understanding. She made sure I got a discount which im thankful for. I get into the massage room. And everything was clean and neat, however during my massage the music kept cutting in and out and was hard to relax. The person who massaged me was ok. But wasnt a great massage.Over all i wont be returning.

I have recently had services from Amy. As usual my experience with her was fantastic. I see her every two weeks and Im always amazed at her ability/gift of knowing my body and on which areas to focus on with out me mentioning it.Thanks for your service 🙂

I’ve been going to Amy at Massage Envy for a couple of years now. She and the support staff always make me feel so welcomed relaxed. Amy uses all kinds of techniques to help my body relax and stay healthy. I keep going back because massage therapy works and Amy is amazing at what she does!

Really surprised with some of these negative reviews I had a truly great experience!Didnt really know what I was doing, got a gift card as a present and so I called them up to see what the deal was.They were totally helpful, I got an appointment the same and and my massage was bomb. I wish it was like 40x longer but isnt that the point? Definitely would go back!

I’ve always had amazing massages here every time I go. I’ve tried a couple different therapists, and they are all qualified and well trained. I have sore muscles constantly from exercising and stress from work, and they always leave me feeling amazing after. I’ve joined the membership program to keep up on my physical & mental health - well worth the investment!

Michaela is great!! I go when i have neck and back pain and she really gets the knots out. Sometimes i still need to go to the chiropractor but she really gets my body ready for an adjustment.

I am a massage junkie that has gotten regular massages around the world for the past 30 years. I had the worst massage of my life at this location from Tiffany, an unlicensed therapist who graduated from massage school a year ago. I should have gotten up from the table ten minutes into the massage, bit was curious as to just how ridiculously bad she was. Therapists like her will ruin the reputation of Massage Envy.If a new client has her, they will never join and will spread the word like wildfire as to how bad the franchise is.My massage was a total waste of my hard earned money.

Don’t waste your time or money! My certified massage therapist was unprofessional and talked THE ENTIRE TIME. She told me her life story, as well as her technique itself was merely rubbing oil onto my skin. She then pointed out the loudness of the washer that was running. Not relaxing at all. lWhen I told the front desk, they said they’ll “notate it” in their charts, and still charged me full price! I couldn’t believe it!Will not return.

Collette is the massage therapist that i meet with at ME. She is super friendly, funny, and great at her job. She always makes me feel comfortable and relaxed as well.

It’s been a challenge trying find a masseur who does a really good deep tissue massage. Michaela is now my go to person! She was great from start to finish.

I originally joined Massage Envy in Calif many years ago and have loved getting my massages. I transferred mY membership when I moved to Delaware 3 years ago. This facility has been good, the massage therapists very competent. There are great and good massage therapists at any spa, including this one, you just have to try different ones until you find the one that you like. The only issue I have at this facility, they do not always answer the phone and you might have to call several times to speak to someone.

Yesterday I had the opportunity to have a massage with Anita for the first time. She was great-- I felt very relaxed after my treatment!

This was my first visit with Michela, she was great! Great technique!! Very personable!! I would absolutely have her again as my therapist!

A business run by young, immature, and not experienced managers. This place has such a high turnover rate that getting an appointment same day is nearly impossible. Expect a lot of cancellations or appointment changes because they can not keep their therapists at all happy, they either quit or get fired. It is not even the therapists that have it bad, the front desk staff has changed quite a bit since my first time. Why? This place is just miserable for the staff and clients. If you do not have a membership, or do not intend on getting one expect the worst customer service of your life. Youre treating and called a prospect, the front desk staff personel is assigned to you in order of keeping their job by selling you a membership. They have numbers they have to meet, they do not care if you can afford this or if you would even benefit from it. Yes the prices are much more reasonable with the membership, but at the end of your 12 months if you wish to cancel you have to have the manager do it. For that to happen you have to speak to her, which is nearly impossible! I was told I was cancelled for 3 months I assumed such, but looking at the bank statement it was a different story. After 3 weeks of trying to reach the manager she finally returned my phone call to state I had to make one more payment for me to be cancelled and had 30 days to use up my remaining massages I paid for without even knowing. I was furious, so in order to justify this where I would not contact cooperate they offered to waive that last payment and I could use my massages whenever. NO. I was told I was cancelled, this is so unproffessional and ridiculous. They offer different memberships at other massage envys including a 6 month, why does this one lock you in for a year? I found out through one front desk girl (slave) that a therapist that was working there, James, was not certified he did not pass his boards and was still allowed to work there even though he was not scheduled to take his boards. They eventually let him go after close to 4 months of working there not licensed saying he had personal issues to attend to. They are desperate in hiring therapists, yet claim they dont want to just hire anyone to uphold the quality of massage therapists. They will tell you anything BUT the truth. If they had a better work environment the great therapists they had would of stayed or worked better. The rooms are disgusting, covered in dust if you ever turn up the lights. They are chickens with their heads cut off as management. They are rude to you if you speak up about being wronged, and purposely make you wait for a response. I saw too many great front desk staff leave, too many therapists quit, and too many clients/prospects being wronged. If you want a good massage take the introductory offer of 49$ and pay 78$ if you want to come in again. That way youre not trapped in and never can get out!

Under new management!! Be aware! Not your regular massage envy! Tried many times to book for bridal party. Very difficult to work with. Friend has over 30 packages and couldnt use them!! Know before you go!

A mothers day treat turned bad. We arrived 20 mins early since they STRESS how important it is to arrive 15 mins early so it WONT go into your massage time. Therapist didnt start on me until 3:15pm. I asked her to not use a lot of pressure since I have Lymes disease. The massage was NOT good at all. I had to again tell her to use less pressure since it was not enjoyable. The SECOND time I had to tell her did it for me. Included in my massage was their new sugar foot scrub which I was told was heavenly accompanied by warm towel press. That warm towel was SCOLDING HOT. I told her they were really really hot and got a simple, oh, sorry. At the end of this massage 4:03pm,which was NOT a full hour that I paid for, I go out to meet the other 3 women I brought with me for our mothers day treat. I see that my right foot is bright red and swollen from the hot towel. No one else had burned feet with their sugar foot scrub. I mention and SHOW the girls at the front desk and get the same, oh, sorry about that comment. My sister asked for some aloe. They told me I could go to Trader Joes to get some. WOW, thanks for the help Massage Envy. The check out was confusing and took a lot of time. No offer to knock off any money from my massage or anything. I will not go back and am very disappointed in the service and their LACK of customer service. I hope this review does justice for anyone else who decides to try them out. Good luck if you do.

Five stars for Sheldon. Based on many of the reviews here, I wasnt expecting much from this Massage Envy. But after pulling a back muscle and sitting through 2 days of pain while traveling, I *really* needed a massage. I picked Massage Envy only because it was close to my hotel, and was open late mid-week. Long story short, Sheldon gave a FANTASTIC, deep, therapeutic massage -- honestly one of the best Ive ever had, and Ive had a bunch of massages. He didnt go easy on me: he really leaned into some of the knots and sore spots on my back, and traced the lines of painful gnarls radiating from my spine to my shoulder. Im not sure why this place received a bad rap. Im a member in Staten Island and decided to use a session here. The atmosphere is absolutely beautiful and Michaela, the massage therapist gave me the exact massage I asked for. I would recommend this place to anyone and everyone!!

So I scheduled my appointment online, I am a nurse that works at a prison with 12 hour shifts overnight. I overslept for an appointment and was charged still. I was offered to make another appointment. Yes I read the policy. That is all.

The prices here are unjustifiably high. Seriously, go support a small/local business and save money. There are plenty of quality places around offering ~80/hour massages.

The massage was fine. The therapist gave mis-information about the pricing and the front desk associate couldnt explain why a prepaid massage was costing another $40. Find a place with better associates, what a rip off.

I dont recommend this place. My time was cut short. I was late because I got stuck in traffic. So they cut my time short. I was still asked to pay a high tip, and the full price. It was not worth it. I felt rushed out of there. It seems they only care about money and not customers.Next time I will take the advise of friends and go someplace else.First I went in and had to wait a long time at the reception desk. Which was at least 15 minutes. Than I was told I had to fill out paperwork work. Icily got a back massage that was rushed. The hot towels that put on you burn. At the end you get handed a water in a cheap plastic cup.
