The Opulent Restaurant & Lounge

It’s hard for me to put into words what an amazing experience we had here. Not only was the food delicious but the service was impeccable. Our waiter was extremely knowledgeable about everything on the menu and helped guide some of the less adventurous eaters in our group. There were many remarks made by our party about the chicken and lamb being the best they’ve ever had. I can’t wait to return and see what else they have to offer!

My friends and I went to Opulent on their 1st Saturday night open. We loved the ambiance in the dining room and the lounge. The lounge wasnt open that night, but they allowed us to check it out. Theres also a private vip room. Because they had just opened, they struggled with a few things like drinks and orders, but the waitress was amazing. She was very friendly and fixed every issue that we had. They even comped anything that there was a problem with, so excellent customer service. The food was very good and we will definitely be returning!

My first time here. I was with friends celebrating my Cousins birthday. Service was amazing and we Absolutely loved Tyler. Cant remember the Lady name in the front, but she was Awesome and showed us around when we arrived. Now my only complaint is the chicken sliders I thought it would be a chicken breast on a mini bun, but it was more like a burger. Even though it says two fried chicken sliders So they just need to change to something like chicken burger sliders ..which clearly was not fried.. but I had to give it back because thats not what I wanted. Overall I recommend and I will be back.

This restaurant opened 3 weeks ago you wouldn’t be able to tell. Everything was so yummy! You could tell everything was fresh and served promptly. The waiter and everyone there was so nice. They will be starting doing drag shows every other week. Will be going back!

EXCELLENT experience. me and my fiancé went here just over the weekend and the gentleman there to serve, Tommy really set the bar! He made our time there very enjoyable. the chefs did an amazing job with the food. I highly recommend this place. been wanting to go since it opened, I’m glad to have finally went and looking forward to going again with family.

A Perfect 50th Birthday Celebration at “The Opulent”I recently celebrated my Birthday at The Opulent Lounge Bar, and it was an absolutely delightful experience. From the moment we walked in, the ambience was inviting and sophisticated, setting the perfect tone for a memorable evening.The decor is chic and modern, with comfortable seating arrangements that encourage both relaxation and socializing.The menu offered a fantastic variety of delicious appetizers and entrees!!One of the standout features was the private area we had reserved for the party. It provided an intimate space for my friends to gather, laugh, and celebrate. The lounge bar also accommodated our requests for special decorations, adding a personal touch that made the night even more special!!Thank you Team !!

Best lounge in DE!!! T the bartender makes THE BEST drinks & even has their own drink on the menu! Food is top notch, nothing like this anywhere around the area!

Amazing Indian food, in my 5 years of living in the USA I have never had good butter chicken like theirs. I would recommend fresh chicken or Tandoori chicken. I would recommend spicy level high as the mild was not kicking.Amazing atmosphere, I like the fact that they have different rooms with different themes.For the drinks I would recommend Blueberry Mojito.I also wanted to touch the American side of the restaurant I had their chicken Alfredo Pasta that was not well seasoned for my taste. It was jumping hot when it came to the table.

The decor is beautiful! It is lovely and modern. Each room is unique but they all coordinate so nicely. The bar area is fabulous. Taylor aka “T” is fabulous. I didn’t want to leave. The drinks were on point and the conversation and mood were perfect’. Love love love!

I was so excited for this place to open and it did not disappoint. The atmosphere is delectable as well as the food. The sampler was amazing- lamb (the dipping sauce was out of this world!) chicken and shrimp, also vegetarian options. My party had several of the entrees, everyone loving each bite- spicy lamb, the lamb chops, Singapore noodles, butter chicken and Korma chicken. The portion size for the entrees is very large and each meal is enough for two people in my option. I’m very exited for my lunch tomorrow!!! They catered to our 4 year old who was super picky but loved the rice!! She recommends it! Our server was also amazing-T! It was my mother in laws birthday and she was treated to desert! So so nice!! Thank you T! They were amazing and would request them again. My family will definitely be going back!!

Danielle was our server, and she was knowledgeable, attentive and all around amazing! The restaurant is luxuriously designed, and the food was nothing short of incredible! I had kebabs and lollypop chicken, and both were a hit. My wife had the butter chicken and also said it was amongst the best she had. We have eaten in many Indian places across the USA. Out 3 kids had food from the kid’s menu and were thoroughly satisfied. Needless to say, from the food to the service everything was remarkable, and we will definitely be coming back!

I had a great night out at this new restaurant/Lounge. The staff is so welcoming and friendly. The atmosphere and decor is breath taking. The food is so delicious. The food came out fresh and hot. I also got a big piece of cheesecake with strawberries. Definitely a nice place to relax with others or have a nice dinner.

Great food. Tommy the waiter is amazing. Treated us like the royal couple. Hes so engaging and fun. He made the experience so much better. The food was so good!

One of a kind food! Tried this place several times since it opened. I kindly request you all to visit the Opulent restaurant. I had an incredible experience with the art of food served by the chefs who take pride in their preparation. This is a pleasing and greatly welcoming place with the ambience magnificently carved. We enjoyed a lot of the Kebabs of Mughals and Shanghai Fried Rice with a combination of several ingredients (noodles, eggs, vegetables, chicken and shrimp) which were uniquely created. Highly recommend this place and cant resist going back👌👌👌👌👌👌👌👌

Ideally the best place to have a quality Family dinner alone or with friends. Absolutely loved the amazing food. Most importantly. The missing vibe of delaware is resurrected now being able to hang out and party since the Kahuna days. This place is on point, the owners ensured that food was great and the lounge within was a total perfect place too… absolutely must visit. Good bye Philly, finally ! Delaware finest 😊👍🥳🥳

We were a group of 8 to celebrate a birthday. None of us had been here before. Our waiter was amazing. He gave some recommendations and explained the dishes so well. We started with drinks (try the butterscotch White Russian), zuccini fritters and the combination meat platter containing lamb, chicken and shrimp. All was amazingly tender. For dinner I had the black pepper chicken which was delicious. Other things ordered by our party were butter chicken with garlic naan, salmon (very large portion), fettuccini and kid friendly tenders and fries. Everything was delicious and we took leftovers home as the portions were large. I cannot say enough about our server who was attentive and had such a great personality. Looking forward to going again. Give it a try and spread the word to your friends.

I am glad I recommended this restaurant for my birthday celebration. Beautiful place and we intend to come again. Also, thanks very much for the happy birthday slice of cheesecake, and it was the best too.

Wonderful ambience and delicious food! First of its kind in Delaware.

For being a recently opened restraraunt & lounge it seems they could at least post the hours and dress code on the website. How do they expect customers to know how to make plans to met for a meal when the hours aren’t posted on the website? Open for lunch, are shorts & te shirts acceptable? This doesn’t seem like to much to ask for to be a part of the website if you expect customers to give you a try.

The Wok noodles with chicken had great flavor. My bartender was the best, pleasant, funny & beautiful. . I believe her name was Ange. Will definitely be back.

Fantastic ambience and very fine dining service. Loved the food during their soft launch I will definitely recommend the place if you wanna have good food and ambience at once place . Severs are very kind and food getting delivered on time . I loved the chefs special dishes which are really unique and so delicious

They had the best dishes in Delaware. I tried the main course I.e lamb kebab the best part is it comes with 2 sides rice and steamed vegetables

I visited twice to this restaurant and the food is awesome coming to the ambience its peaceful..The staff are very friendly and kind.My favorite is mint chutney they make so yummy and delicious.I kindly recommended this place for those who want to experience the food with passionate
