Relax Chinese Foot Massage

This place used to be awesome. I don’t know if it changed management or what, but my massage was terrible and like others said before…got attitude when i left 20% tip.

I had such a great massage tonight. The receptionist, Lily, was my masseuse. When we came in, she was very polite and nice! My mom had Andy as her masseuse and he worked really well according to my mom. We asked for the economy foot massage ($25) which includes your own private room, oil, and foot, back, and head massage for 1 hour.I usually dont go for back massages because it hurts me, but I was really satisfied with how Lily did mine! My only comment for improvement is that maybe they should train their staff to cover as a receptionist if Lily is with a guest.Over all, it was a great experience! Definitely coming back.

I had a really bad experience at this place. I made an appointment on the phone and got there on time but when I arrived it felt like they were surprised to see me.I asked on the phone for a male masseur and got a female who actually was the secretary.She started my appointment 10 mins late.During the massage she didn’t stop talking with her co workers and had to leave to the front desk 3 times. I found my self having 3 different masseurs. At the fourth time when she left to the front seat she left for a few minutes. I got so upset and told them that this is not the way a massage should be done. I had to stop this unprofessional massage in the middle after 25 minutes. On top of this her hands smelled like an ash tray. Very unprofessional place! Not recommended at all!!

Great place! Ive been coming here for the last few years. Great value as well.Dec 2023Usually I go for the one hour foot massage. $35 for the hour as of December 2023.Make sure to tip well! I usually give $10 tip.Atmosphere:There is a water fountain dripping water noise, which is very relaxing throughout the whole experience. You also have some sort of soothing Asian violin-type music playing in the background.I usually just do the community massage area. Everyone usually has their eyes closed anyway. No big deal. You take your T-shirt off, but you keep your shorts or sweats on. I recommend coming here in a t-shirt and shorts just to make it easier for them to move around your body and work on you. Also, if you were a woman coming to this facility, you can get away with wearing your bra, and taking your blouse or shirt off.If you would like a more private area, you do have to pay extra for that. Its up to you.The actual Foot Massage:I highly recommend letting them use their oils, tonics and lotions on you. But if you want to go dry, thats totally fine. Just understand that you wont get the full experience if theyre not using the massage oil on you.So...1. They basically start with you sitting down on an ottoman, and your feet are in a bucket of warm water. They do your shoulders, a little bit of your neck, and the top of your head.2. Your feet come out of the bucket, and onto the ottoman, while you lay on a lowered massage table on your back, stomach side up. They do more of your neck from underneath, your shoulders down to your hands and fingers.3. They cover your torso with a towel/blanket, as they work on your feet and ankles, and your toes with massage oil. Its kind of like a cucumber melon type smell. Smells really nice actually. So after they do this area, they wipe you down with towel after towel after towel.4. Then they move on to your thighs, top inner and outer. This is usually done dry, no oil involved, and the person working on you is using mostly their forearms and elbows.5. The last step in the process is they flip you over onto your stomach, and they work your back, and your hamstrings. No use of oil here.Lots of pillows and towel changes in between. Very hygienic, and clean. Whenever they use oil on the body part that they use oil on, they always wipe it off after theyre done with lots of towels.Pressure Level:If you know the pressure level youre looking for, definitely tell the person at the front desk to tell the person doing the massage what level you like right off the bat.If you want a more soft and soothing massage, kind of similar to Swedish deep tissue lets say, definitely ask for a woman to work on you.But even then, some of the women who work there have a very strong touch, so you can always say softer or harder, and they do understand you.If youre looking for that ultimate shiatsu, deep tissue bordering on Muscle fascia release, definitely get a guy to work on you.Most of the guys who do the massages here are strong, and I mean very strong. Their hands are like Vice grips. So youll have to ask for softer or harder during the whole process.Etiquette:Just in general, make sure your cell phone is set to complete silent or even airplane mode before you get in here. A vibrating phone every 2 or 3 minutes is very disruptive as well. So just turn it off, please.In general, this is a great place to come to for a relaxing massage. Also a great date spot!Last pointer is, definitely ask for the multiple visit card, or whatever its called. Basically you get a free massage after 10. So youre 11th massage is free. But I would still tip the person working on you! Dont skimp out.Note* They used to end the foot massage with a hot stone treatment. But they no longer do this.As of Dec 2023, its a different massage entirely, called Comfort I believe. Youll have to pay $40 for this one, and its a whole separate process if you want the hot stone massage. Still worth it, if thats what you want.

Literally the worst massage place on Ventura !BEWARE!The “receptionist” literally came and started talking to me in the middle of my massage about payment lolThey demand tipsAnd most of their poor “slaves” that they don’t pay ! That’s y they demand tips! are really bad and just push on u, hit u and hurt u !Better to pay more and go anywhere else !Very rude and sticky placeDirty old furniture as wellNOT RECOMMEND

I had the regular $25 massage. Masseuse did a great job. I want to give her a 5 star. However, my whole experience went downhill when the lady at the front desk gave me a sour face when I handed my tip for my lady which was way over 20%. My tip was not good enough. This was the second time she did that. That is just bad business practice. Very bad........

The massage itself is pretty good. However the customer service is horrible. I tried leaving a five dollar tip for the 20 dollar massage and was berated by the receptionist about not leaving a larger tip. She told me that I needed to leave a 10 dollar tip and that everyone does the same. I told her that I still only wanted to leave five dollars. She argued back and fourth with me about this, refusing to let me only leave that much. Finally a put my foot down and made it very clear this was all I was going to pay. She gave up and rolled her eyes at me and did her best to make me feel very uncomfortable about this. Unless you want to be made to feel guilty for not leaving a 50% tip for a mediocre massage, dont go to this place.

Just as others here have mentioned, you will get a sour attitude at the front desk if you don’t tip +33%. If you ask for change they purposefully don’t give back singles or have them on deck and make it highly uncomfortable. They also seem to talk a lot during and this last time I didn’t get a full hour that I paid for until I asked them too. With the above experiences won’t be a repeat customer. Plenty of other options to give good business to close by.

It was my first time ever to have a foot massage : now I know I need to come with no makeup, no bracelets and rings on my hands - I got massaged everywhere! It was so wonderful! Ru (Angela) was amazing! Its a quiet and cute place ! Definitely coming back!

Ive been going to multiple different foot massage locations all over the city and none have matched this place. Highly recommended.Updated:They renovated the place. Looks better, just one problem...they really need someone that can speak English to manage the place. The communication barrier doesnt help. The massage is great, but we cant even communicate with the person that handles the transactions.

My Massage today was amazing! Thank you to Tony he has great hands and was able to get my knots out. I will definitely go back as soon as next week. Highly recommend!

I was satisfied with the massuse, however the lady at the front gave me attitude of why I was not paying more tip!!!!! this is very unprofessional! Also the place was so crowded, their employees just made a lot of noise, and were not considerate of the clients and making a silent environment at all. I would never go back to this place and dont recommend it to anyone!

Amazing price and value. Anita was well trained. One woman speaks English which helps. Not glamorous. Cluttered but clean. Felt safe.

I want to say, the massage worker did a great job to me, if you do not have enough money for tip, just explain your situation to the front desk, this is ok, if you feel the massage is very good and you have enough money, please give more tip to them because their work worth it, this is Unite states, we usually give the good enough tip to the people who make the great job and who is the hard worker, I gave the good enough tip to them and I think they will continue the good massage for me in the next time, the encouragement is important.

Wow! Jerry was amazing! Just the right amount of pressure, he also asked a couple of times to be sure...& was responsive to my body language-aware of the rhythm of breathing....amazing!

Massage was descent, “private room” just the bed surrounded by curtains... wasn’t bad but would not come back.
