I’ve been a customer since 2017 when I started taking care of myself. Every healer at this location has helped me in my health journey. I’ve been blessed with Tina Marie for over a year now. She helps with my problem areas so they don’t become a problem between visits. She’s help me stay active and pain free from the massages received. I’m very grateful for Tina Marie and would encourage everyone to see her at this location.
Never in my life have I ever paid $75 dollars for a lotion massage. I arrived at 3:48, filled out my forms.. my massage therapist came to get me well after 4pm (mind you my appt was at 4pm) I believer her name was “Tina Marie”, but of course I wouldn’t know because there was no introduction… not to mention a very unprofessional, and questionable look. I mean, what the heck? We got into the room.. she very non chalantly asked me what she could do to help me relax.. what’s the point of filling out the forms before hand, WITH THOSE EXACT SAME QUESTIONS, if you’re not going to pay attention to it/read it, AND not focus on the areas I asked for?! God bless. This was the worst massage I’ve ever had. Arms being yanked off the table, no gentleness involved at all, feeling like Tina had better places to be than to do my massage and do it well, and let’s not forget that most of my massage was one handed because she sat 80% of the time, and didn’t even go the full hour. I will never, ever come back here. I don’t know how this place is still in business, let alone having Tina as an employee. Pure highway robbery.
Absolutely the most rudest experience I’ve ever had. Tried to call and cancel my massage at this location only to be told that they would take 50% of my already paid for massage, if I canceled. Only for me to drive 45 minutes out here and be told that they can’t see me due to me being pregnant (this was known before I arrived), because in a very “smart ass” remark she told me she (it was called Tina I think) doesn’t do prenatal, when my massage had nothing to do with pregnancy, it actually was for my neck and shoulders for an unrelated pain. And also told her it was approved by my doctor since I wouldn’t voluntarily do something to hurt my pregnancy. Her attitude was terrible and very much matched their very unprofessional “look”. Not to mention I came with my mom, so had to sit in their waiting room until she was finished with her massage, where the therapist went to talk badly about me until she seen me sitting there. Do not recommend and will never return.
DO NOT GIVE THIS LOCATIONS GIFTCARD AS A GIFT!I booked my wife an appointment on 4/20 because she works hard to take care of our family. AT THE RECOMMENDATION OF THE STORE, I booked her with Tina Marie. Had I known that Tina is the worst human, much less the worst massage therapist known to man, I wouldnt have done it.1st: She didnt even introduce herself, and its massage practices are lazy. SHE SAT IN A CHAIR THE WHOLE TIME AND GAVE A ONE HANDED MASSAGE!!!! She was rude, condecending (the elephant should talk, yes, I mean exactly what you think). Who gets a job with a rat tail?2nd: The aroma therapy upcharge is a joke because they put it in the lotion! Its not even aroma therapy at that point!3rd: we complained of the service to the front desk, who acted like this is a regular complaint about this person. I mean, read the reviews. This individuals name is listed more times than not in a bad review.Overall, I will he in their office first thing monday when they open, raising absolute hell with the manager.
I have been a loyal customer of Massage Envy for a year. When I signed up my membership cost was $60. They automatically renewed my membership and did not contact me to inform me of the $15 price increase since I had initially signed up. Due to this increase I decided to cancel. A payment was pending for the $75 charge on the day I went to cancel. The payment processed the next day into my bank account. I was told when I went in to cancel that I would be refunded the $75 and that it would take 10 business days as they had to send my cancellation into corporate. It has been 15 business days. I contact them about the payment not being refunded only to be told that I would get a call back from the manager the next day. I never received a call. I called again today to ask when I should expect the refund only to be told I would not be receiving the $75 back despite the fact that when I called asking how to cancel I was told BOTH over the phone and in person (when I had to go into cancel, because you can’t cancel via phone) that I would receive a refund within 10 business days. When I asked the woman I spoke with on the phone why I was told I’d be receiving a refund then if they now decided not to do that she rudely goes “I don’t know. I wasn’t the one that spoke to you.” I asked for corporate’s number and contacted them. 10/10 do not recommend this location due to the customer service I just received. I will be using the remainder of my credits from my membership at the Canton Massage Envy as they know how to respect customers.
So let me start by saying I was excited to get a massage, and the staff spoke very highly of the masseuse (Tina Marie) that was assigned to us. Needless to say this was a complete waste of my hard earned money, and silly me for dragging my husband along for the ride.1- We are asked to arrive early to fill out forms okay no problem our appt was for 12 noon so we arrived at 11:45 it took 10 mins to fill that out, ok that was done,2- We were escorted to the back to wait for the masseuse to come get us okay fine we waited, (looked at the time it was 12:10pm) they came to get us and walked us to the room to get underdressed and prep for the massages, mind you I said it was 12:10pm at that time, we get on the table we were asked what area should they focus on we both explained the areas and they both said okay no problem! Thats when the problems began I received a pressured lotion down, she did not massage anything, she was applying so much pressure that I asked to ease up some she lighten up & continued to lotion me down, I asked was this a warm up, I ask if she was offended because it got worst.3- My husband gave specifics on where he would like to be massaged and his masseuse did the opposite of what he requested, he stated that he wanted his lower back massaged and she focused on his legs and feet it was the worst ever, let me not forget to mention that WE DID NOT GET THE FULL HOUR WE PAID FOR! if they started after 12:10 pm please explain how was the massage over at 12:50 please make it make sense because the las time I checked one hour is 60 minutes! After they both stopped before our one hour was over they had the audacity to ask how did we feel? We felt worst leaving than we did when we came in, by far the WORST MASSAGE EVER! The front desk assistant seemed offended that I said that the massage was horrible! I told her mediocre at best and she made a face as if I offended her, when in fact I was offended that I spent my money and time on those so called massages!4- I have never been massaged with lotion by a professional so I was totally confused, my husband give better massages at home with essential oils that helps to relax.The icing on the cake was would you like to leave a tip and when we declined the receptionist looked at me as if I committed a crime! The crime is this place being opened and them claiming that they give massages, what they give is a lotion down so STAY CLEAR FROM THIS LOCATION FOR SURE! I was VERY VERY DISAPPOINTED WASTE OF MONEY & TIME! Dont know about other locations but WOODSTOCK IS A NEGATIVE 1 STAR FOR ME!
I had one of the best experiences yesterday with masseuse TeenaMarie. I am a dental assistant and my back is my main source of pain for hunching over all day everyday. I told her I specifically wanted my back focused on. Normally other spas just spend 15 minutes on the back then move to fill body. But she focused strictly on my back and it was heavenly. I felt like a new woman when I left. I’ve never been so happy with a full hour body massage. Thank you so much!!!
It was okay. The massage was great. The therapist was running behind. She took me in 20 minutes late. My appointment was at 4:30. I got in the room at 4:50. At 6:00 the therapists left the room. I was scheduled for 90 minutes so I was only in the room for just over an hour. The tardiness was not my fault. I was there on time and my time should but have been shortened. For this reason I will not be returning. This is an unacceptable way to do business
This company needs to rethink its business strategy. Got a gift card as a gift. Got my initial massage. Supposed to be 60 minutes long. Was 50 minutes tops. Felt like the areas that I mentioned as problematic barely got addressed.Appears I won’t be using the rest of my gift card. You have to join for a minimum of 6 months with a $50 membership fee?! This is in top of the $60/month. Not worth it. Told the receptionist I can get a massage anywhere for $60. Sub par. They won’t be around in 5 years
I had such a wonderful experience . The staff were super friendly and the message was perfect . I made a last minute appointment after work today (first time there) and they treated me like Id been there a million times and was family. I went in after a long stressful day with some tension in my muscles and pain and came out feeling so relaxed and like a new person. I definitely will be back.
Saw Taylor for a facial yesterday. She was wonderful. Very informative and detail oriented. Never pushy on products, gave great advice and tailored my facial to my needs. 10/10 would recommend and go back!

I had a poor experience at the Massage Envy in Woodstock. My massage lasted 49 minutes even though I paid for 60. It also consisted of constant questioning and pointless banter that prevented me from relaxing in any way. Not to mention, the actual massage was the worst Ive ever received. Feedback for Massage Envy: your therapists should ask the customer how theyre doing at least a couple times during the session and if they should adjust pressure, etc. -- that is the the essence of any good massage.Dont waste your time or money. You deserve much better when youre shelling out hard-earned cash for luxury services like this.
So apparently because I was a customer previously (probably 7 years ago) they wanted to charge me $90 instead of the $60 advertised rate. I showed up at 8 pm for an 8:30 appointment thinking I was being nice, in case they didn’t have an earlier appointment we could get started early so they could go home early since I know I’d be the last appointment for the evening. Instead I was met with a unhappy rude woman at the front desk that said I had plenty of paperwork to fill out. When I said yes I’ve been to a massage envy before she let me know I would be charged $90 for a 6o minute massage. I do not know any other industry other than cable companies who are so rude as to increase rates on a returning customer. When I was b;own away by the fact that I would be charged $90 for a 60 minute massage she told me I would be charged. %50 cancellation fee. I am absolutely appalled by the customer care show by this company. What’s sad is I was going to treat my daughter and my best friend to massages later this week. Massage envy will not be getting that business and I will be calling corporate for the misleading advertisement, the disrespectful desk clerk as well as a horrible policy for previous customers.
You don’t want to go here. I stopped my year worth of membership when it ended. I still had 3 massages to get. They called to get payment, I explained my year was over but, I wanted to schedule some of my already paid for massages. I was told the head person would have to check it out. I never received a call back. Well we stopped in one day to check and schedule and they told us that our 3 each paid for massages would expire that day. HORRIBLE
I went to the location on Cobb parkway and was very happy with the service so I wanted to take my mom for 2 hour massage as a Mother’s Day gift. Since Cobb parkway location was fully booked for the Tuesday I wanted to take my mom I called and booked with the Woodstock location. The lady who did my moms massage was nice I guess but she didn’t knew what in the world she was doing. She wasted 2 hours talking about random stuff and barely did the massage. My mom told me how she literally kept coming up with new conversations and stopped every 5 minutes. My mom just wanted to relax and get massage and she didn’t got that. It was $120 worth which is a big amount of money for an unemployed college student. My money went to waste and my mom didn’t even got what she wanted. Highly disappointed and wouldn’t recommend anyone go there.Update: I was asked to email them on their personal link and it’s been 4 days and no response.
Always great customer service and care. Very clean and very healthy environment... The new lady Monica is sooo awesome, shes very helpful and very nice. I really appreciate her, if all the employees was like her, the world would be a better place.
Great massage, but unprofessional front desk employees. When I sat to fill out paperwork, all employees were talking very loudly about their personal problems. One employee who said it was her last day, started talking about how someone she knew who was super underweight and “might as well be considered anorexic”. Then when I went to give her my paperwork, after looking at me up & down, then realized I only weigh around 100 pounds and apologized to me for saying all those things she said “considering my weight”. Just felt really uncomfortable.
The massage team is fair with the exception of Charlene. I had a long running relationship with Charlene where she knew me and what my needs were. However, the front desk of this location is a mess. It is run unprofessional. The last straw was with me calling and changing my appointment but then it not actually getting changed. The manager took less than a minutes to tell the young lady on the phone that I would be charged anyway but then when I asked to speak with her, took 15 minutes to come to the phone and actually address me directly and hear the facts. The front desk staff is clearly untrained and poorly managed. From other reviews, I clearly see that this a problem that goes beyond my specific issues. Too bad for the good people like Charlene who work here. I canceled my membership.
I get a massage once a month. My massage therapist Britnany is the best. She finds knots that I did not know that I even had. I always feel great after every appointment. It is definitely worth the money I pay every month.
The front desk is a mess, as someone else noted. For me they scheduled an appt with someone that wasnt even working that day then had to reschedule and when they did they put the appt on the wrong day - they did comp that day but since it was my first appt it was a $50 comp but then I had to pay the full price next time.. You pay for an hour but actually only get 50 minutes (per the front desk) minus the time to undress, and if you are late they deduct every minute you are late. The last massage I got was about 30-40 minutes and I paid for an hour. Not worth the money. I will use up my gift cards and not go back.
Had a good massage from Tina Marie. She was delightful and very experienced and enjoyed the experience even though I was questioning whether I could go through with it since I had a stroke back in February it was a success, ⭐️ and I see myself coming back.
Awful. Please find a different place for rest and relaxation because this place is a breeding ground for stress. Husband bought a gift membership for me and was specifically told by the front desk that it didnt have an expiration, which he was particularly concerned about when purchasing. When I went to redeem, the front desk tells me its expired...say what?! Asked to connect with a manager, and the front desk associate said the manager would call me the following morning. No call the following morning, so I call them to see whats going on. Front desk associate answers and goes to get the manager for me. Associate comes back on the phone to tell me the manager said to tell me shes very busy and that my gift subscription is expired because of corporate policy. I ask her where that policy is posted or shared with customers who purchase a gift (since it is NOWHERE on the gift brochure they gave my husband when he purchased) , and she tells me she doesnt know. And thats that. No help from the manager (wouldnt even hop on the phone with me), associates hands are tied, and no remote resolution whatsoever. Took our money and reassured us that the gift didnt expire, THEN told us what we paid for expired because of an amorphous policy thats evidently written in the stars, and offered no help. Please avoid.
All this company wants to do is scam and take advantage of people. I received a CG for Christmas with an hour massage on it. Ive never been to ME because Ive always been skeptical about the company and they have proved me right.When I called to make my appointment, I had them pull up my CG number and tell me the balance. It was what the initial gifting of the CG said it was.The massage was probably the WORST/half a-ed massaged I have ever gotten.I told them I was unhappy then all of a sudden they had an issue with my CG saying there wast anything on it. Im in the middle of this now, and I am filing a fraudulent claim against them for charging my card without authorization as well as going to the better business bureau.
Kate is amazing, go see her for a facial, peel, microdermabrasion she really knows what she’s doing and my skin has never looked better!!! Precious, at the desk, is very helpful and kind. I love coming here for facials and massages 💜
I am really upset and disappointed to the staff who I scheduled with my prenatal massage. I drove for about 45 minutes to get to this location, and badly needing my massage, just to tell me they don’t have someone doing a prenatal massage and just reschedule it. I diffenitely remembered telling them “I want a prenatal massage” many times on the phone.Very very very unhappy Customer!!!!
I got an awesome massage by Melinda and she is very nice and works with my many issues. She works through different situations I have explained to her and she makes everything omfortable, calming and relaxing. She really does take the time to listen and works everything out.
Massage here is very hit or miss. Mostly miss. The last massage I had here, I asked the therapist for extra work on my feet. She massaged my left foot, but didn’t touch my right foot. I kept thinking maybe she would go back to it, but she never did. To be fair to her, I think she’d had a long day. In the past, I’ve had therapists completely unable to give me what I ask for, and instead spend most of the time digging in my traps and rhomboids, which I HATE. Massage envy only cares about the bottom line, not the clients or the therapists. Like McDonalds, it’s convenient, but not worth it in the long run.
Theres always some type of drama at the front desk and scheduling problems seem to be common. Once you get all that sorted out, the actual massage staff is pretty great. I recommend it based off them alone...after all, that is the whole reason why you go to a place like Massage Envy, right?
Paid for an hour chemical peel at a hefty price of $135 and it lasted TEN minutes! Nothing else was done but the swipe of the chemical?! No massage -no cleansing- no extractions . Literally a 10 minute service! Highly disappointing, and perhaps one should suggest the esthetician not smell of smoke on fingers and mouth as I was engulfed with the odor of cigarettes. Woof , terrible service.
I came here to try and get some relief from pain from a lower back injury. Not only am I worse off the next day but my massage therapist screwed up my neck. I should have known not to trust a chain, but I was desperate to get back to work Monday. Thanks to Massage Envy that may not happen.
